Death
She wanders the streets, the land,
searching for her pray.
She moves noiselessly,
Her purpley-black eyes shinning
with a dark, eerie inner light.
Her voice calls, piercing the night
with its amber-sweetness.
All will hear Her call, one day,
there is no escaping Her.
They will rise, and throw their
mortal bodies in to join Her
immortal one in her chaotic dance of love,
lightening,
movement,
stars,
fire,
ice,
moon,
sky,
earth,
and death.
I have yet to hear her call,
have yet to join the chaotic dance
of the heavens,
but I know my time is soon.
All my family have gone,
and my friends have heard her cry,
and left to follow Her.
I am the only one left.
I am alone.
I want to hear Her song,
want to join the dance,
want to feel the icy flames of Her.
