Declared
The sun of the day
Is not so brilliant as my Lord
It is but a flickering candle
To the way my Lord lights my soul
Number the stars of heaven
Tally the sands of shore
Count until there are no more numbers
Still my Lord will love me
The rivers will run backwards
And the stars fall into the sea
And still
The love of my Lord for me
Will flow as oceans into a small cup
The Lord of Hosts is merciful
His right hand upholds the just
While he leads those who stray
Back into the light of his eternal love
He does not hesitate to let me fall
That I may see for myself
Though my pain is felt
As only the Infinite can fell it
Such is the love of my Lord
In the night of my despair
He is the light-bringer and the light
Never will he leave me alone in darkness
The Lord God is forever with me
He is robed in Righteousness
His garments are Honor and Wisdom
But it is with love
That my Lord is crowned
With many precious gifts
Has the Lord showered me
With understanding and wisdom
With compassion and mercy
Gifts of Himself but in
The perfect simultaneity
Of the Lord's existence
This is the very essence of eternity
The whole and perfect possession
Of endless life
His gift beyond all other gifts
A share in the eternity
Of His love
In this is His love truly known
My Lord, the One whose might is unrivaled
Whose splendor is unmatched
The God who before, all others are as worms
This the Lord of Heaven
Suffered himself to become limited like me
That he could carry my pain
For the Lord God of Heaven willed
Infinite pain inflicted on Himself
Then spend eternity apart from me
So does He love me
That he died rather then
Have me tormented forever
For one soiled and dirty
A creature
Lower then the dust
The Lord suffered and died
So does He love me
His Love is so strong
Not even death itself
Could hold Him apart from me
For me, He is risen from the dead
My love for the Lord
Does not falter
Does not fade
Every beat of my heart
Is a hymn to God on High
It is truer then truth
And stronger then strength
Never does it wander
Seeking other satisfaction
For it is with more
Then love within my heart
That I love him
I love the Lord
More then I love my own life
In His arms alone do I find rest
My heart has wandered weary
But never again, safe in my Shepherds care
I will love the Lord with my whole being
My whole life and strength and being
Every day in this life and the next
I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved is Mine
To the Lord I belong
To Him I bind myself
To the Lord I pledge my love and my life
I am declared for God eternally
And no force born of earth or hell
Shall ever part us
The love of my God is eternal
And does not ever leave me
Such is the love my God for me
And also for you
