Starlight

I gaze out my bedroom window
Into the darkening sky
Searching for the light
I need to be happy

Star light
Star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have the wish
I wish tonight

I wish with all my heart
To one day
Know true happiness
And maybe even love

All the things
I don't have now
I wish to know some day
So all my suffering will not be in vain
