One day there was a man named Jack. Jack loved to go on trips and do extrodanary things people wouldn't normaly do. So, one day while Jack was walking past a market he heard two man talking about a haunted mansion.

"I heard the mansion has at least two ghosts. The man and the wife," the market dealer said. "Well, I heard that the dog and the child that is now a grown man lives there as ghosts along with the parents there. Only a mad man would go there. Surely, he will be killed," the man said. Jack smiled and laughed. He asked them where it was and he was off on his journey to investigate the home.

Jack took a step on the sidewalk where the house was on his west side. He turned his head and gazed at the house. The wood looked rotted and was black as night. A few windows were broken but that didn't bother him. He took a breath, sighed, and walked threw the black gate with nails driven on the top, and it closed behind him.

Jack extended his hand and placed it on the knob of the door. He opened it slowly. As he peered inside, dust was floating all around. He coughed as a few particals of dust entered his mouth. He blinked a few times then walked in, and the door closed behind him. He stepped on the planks of the floor and dust came out behind it and also, made a squeaking noise that could make you rip your ears off. Jack ignored it and kept walking. He went up the stairs and saw a strange figure move from one door to another. He has second thoughts about moving up the stairs, but did anyway.

He fallowed the figure and went in the door he had saw it move into. He looked in, but there was nothing. Jack walked up to a table where he saw a picture of the couple and thought that they looked good together. The door slammed closed. He ran to it and tried opening it, but it was locked. He kicked the door with all his might but it did no good. He then rammed the door with his shoulder and it fell. He lost his balance and fell over the rails of the stairs and hit the ground. The impact caused his eyes to fly out of his head and he screamed in pain, as he laid there paralized and bleed to death.

No one ever saw Jack again or dared to go look for him in the house. But rumor has it, that he still haunts the house, with the couple; the dog; and the child.
