Heero's fingers moved quickly over the computer's keys, punching in keywords that might trigger some secret access. A loud groan and unintelligible curses came from the other end of the room. "Heero, would ya stop typing on that thing and go to sleep already? It's 3 am and I'm tryin' to sleep!" Duo sat up in his bed and glared over at his partner.
Heero smirked and continued to type, his gaze not leaving the screen. "If the noise is too loud for you, maybe you should go sleep on the couch."
Duo 'hmphed', and laid back down. "You know just as well as I that this place doesn't have a couch.."
A barely audible chuckle came from across the room. "Is that so?"
Duo sat up and rose from the bed this time. "Heero! I'm serious! If you don't go to sleep right now I'll."
"You'll what?"
The braided pilot strode over to the electric socket, and pulled the plug on his friend's laptop. "That's what."
Heero seemed unfazed as he continued typing. Duo blinked a few times and glanced over at him. "I don't understand." He looked down at the plug in his hand and traced the cord back to the compact computer.
"Back-up battery." Murmured Heero.
