Authory Type Notes: Hello! Well I'm back to writing....although I'm not too
happy with ff.net. Wouldn't let me upload anything -_-' Grrr. Anywho I'm
here to do my daily writing exercise which I have to start today. Basically
I just pick a word from the dictionary and write a little ficlet about it.
Today's word is: BROCCOLI!!!!!!

Warning: Senseless humor and the fact that absolutely no one dies! Doesn't mean they don't get tortured though......Mwahhhh
Broccoli Surprise
Duo came out of the kitchen with a broad smile on his face. He turned to his fellow pilots who were sitting in a large living room doing.......nothing. -_-' Well nothing besides breathing.
"So who wants to try my latest creation?" Duo asks innocently. Immediately 4 pairs of eyes shifted to the window in less than a nanosecond. Heero sees an opportunity to take control of the situation and quickly takes advantage of it.
"All those in favor of staying here say aye," he says quickly
"Aye!" Heero, Trowa, and Wufei say simultaneously. Quatre, who was still trying to get out of shock, realized what happened. He looked at Duo helplessly. Duo smiled happily.
"This time I know you'll like it, Cat. It's a special surprise!" with that he walked back into the kitchen.
"Well, that settles it," Heero said matter-of-factly. He got up and pushed Quatre towards the door.
"I hate you," Quatre hissed menacingly. Heero nodded absently.
"Mm hm.....Have fun," he said as he took his place on the nice safe couch. Quatre gathered what courage he had and went through the door. Duo was awaiting him on the other side. He was staring proudly at his creation.
Quatre took his seat in front of, what looked like, regurgitated green....stuff.
"What is it?" he asked tentatively.
"It's a surprise," Duo answered.
"I am not going near this until I know what it is!" he exclaimed.
"This is about Heero isn't it? All right I admit carrot burgers weren't such a good idea, but I promise I did better this time," Duo said, "I call it Broccoli Surprise!"
Carefully Quatre picked up the fork and prodded the "food." (A/N: More like hazardous waste ^.^) It seemed All right. He took a hesitant bite and forced it down.
"So what do you think?" Duo asked looking expectant. Quatre forced a weak smile.
"It was very...uh...interesting," he answered and with that he got up and left leaving the sickening green....stuff behind. As soon as he was out of the kitchen he put a hand over his mouth.
"I think I'm going to be sick," he said as he ran to the bathroom. Duo followed him to the living room.
"Was it the paprika?" Duo called after him. He was answered with the slam of the bathroom door.
"It must've been the paprika," he muttered to himself. He turned around to see the other pilots staring at him.
" What?" he asked innocently, "what did I do?"
Ending Authory Type Notes: I love it! Oh it's great!!!!!!!!! If you're wondering about those carrot burgers......my mother has a recipe for them :P ick Who would ever want to eat that?
