Naruto grumbled under his breath as he walked out of the store, he was holding a plastic bag filled with throwable weapons that were conveniently in a sealing scroll. But that didn't help as the owner charged him more that full price for his ramen cups.
Walking through the packed village streets of Konoha and being glared at was something the Uzumaki was used to but what pissed him off the most was that no one forgave him after he brought Tsunade back to the village for her inaugural ceremony as the Fifth Hokage nor the fact he stopped his Day 1 Gaara from getting near the village and turning it to dust by giving Shikaku the keys of his consciousness.
No! He didn't get no good job, no fist bump nor a well done from anyone. Pervy Sage got the glory to bringing Tsunade back and Sasuke got the glory to stopping Gaara. FREAKING SASUKE GOT THE GLORY! The same guy that was acting all crazy when Naruto beat up Gaara, the same guy that almost got his hand skewered by Gaara during the Chunin Exams, the same guy who's mental state was questioned by Naruto when he broke someone's hands in the Forest of Death. The same guy that threw a Chidori on it's chest! Yeah that guy. That wound still hurt even though it's been a week now since he left and guess what the village members blame him for Sasuke leaving.
Grumbling on and on about how annoying it was the Uzumaki continued to walk. 'All I've been doing these past few days was just small time missions and stuff. Sasuke's out there learning from Orochimaru while I'm stuck here waiting for that white haired pervert to be back from whatever he's doing.' Naruto thought as he found him self in a side of the village that was still recked by the fiasco which Orochimaru had made. Most of the village had been rebuilt for the Fifth Hokage's inauguration but this part wasn't as it wasn't used a lot by villagers nor shinobi.
They were houses, well abandoned houses and most of them were in ruin. There was rubble everywhere on the streets, lose leaves from trees were everywhere. All his anger disappeared the moment he looked at a rubble sight. There he spotted what looked like 'A watch?' of sorts. That was odd that a watch was just sitting there on it's very lonesome, 'Must have belonged to someone and it got off their wrist. During the panic when Orochimaru's snakes broke into the village.' Naruto thought as he went to pick up the watch putting it on his wrist since 'It's not that bad…the time is wrong but it's still looks new…finders keepers.' The Uzumaki tweaked with the time looking at the sun which told him it was approximately 3 or 4 PM. Just then a small piece of paper popped out of the rubble. Letting go of the watch and getting his attention caught by the paper.
Naruto picked it up as he noted it had, writing on it.
Dear Whoever ends up with this watch
If my calculations are correct then the paper should appear the moment someone wears it, I must warn you wearer that the device you are wearing is extremely dangerous. The device you a wearing is an experiment I dearly wish I didn't conduct. As you a wearing a time machine on it, now you must be thinking? Time Machine? Isn't that cool…well it isn't as this time machine can hop through dimensions. Not by choice but by random, so I warn you to not tinker with the watches time for your own safety.
Sincerely Doctor Emmet Brown
'A TIME MACHINE?!' Naruto was shocked beyond the least that he let go of the letter, which was blown away by the wind as it ended up on a lamp post, with Naruto he was still shocked he had a time machine on his wrist which also had to jump through dimensions randomly if the time is tinkered. 'Oh crap.' Naruto thought
Tick*Tick*Tick
That sound caught the Uzumaki's attention as it was coming from the watch as it's arrows for hours, minutes and seconds were circling around like crazy. The next thing he knew it he blacked out when he saw the purple light come from the watch. Disappearing from Konoha and the Ninja World were could have Naruto gone.
Well if you're reading this you know by the title were he went.
Sparta 451 B.C.E
Staring at the peaceful stream of the river outside her hometown was something she did often when she had finished training with her mother. What was it with water, since this was starting to be a hobby she enjoyed, watching the fish swim up and down the stream, being one with the water due to the blessing of Poseidon. It was peaceful. Just then an odd thing happened.
A huge splash occurred with some water hitting her legs. Where did he come from? Looking around and at the sky. She didn't see how he could have fallen from the sky as there weren't any trees around this bank. Kassandra concluded he wasn't Spartan because of one thing, the blond hair and weird outfit. Even though there he was the mysterious figure floating on the water and beginning to sink. Just then she remembered something her mother told her. That if she ever fought an enemy at a river and he faked his death by sinking in the water than he was still alive whereas if they were dead they would just float.
'He's still alive!' Kassandra thought as she dashed into the water, the river was pretty deep but she was a slightly experienced swimmer so grabbing the boy's body she brought him back to the bank. Looking back at the river she noticed some bags at the location where the boy was, going and coming back with the bags she set them aside the mysterious boy as she analyzed the situation.
She had found a foreign boy wearing clothing she didn't recognize as well bags that had things that she didn't recognize. Taking all the ramen cups out of the plastic bag and dumping the water back into the river Kassandra remembered her mother always said she should check for a pulse to make sure an enemy was dead. She was surprised to find the boy alive, even if it was barely. This was actually her first time finding a body on a river.
'His clothing is…odd.' She glanced at the boys attire once more as she had never seen such kind of clothing and fabric. Touching it she deduced it was soft like feathers. Her gaze took to the boys headband and the shiny metal plate on the boy's forehead. 'What is this…I've never seen this symbol? It looks like…a leaf?' she thought as she studied the boy even more.
"He must be a warrior or something." She stated as she took the boy's pouch from his back, it had weapons that she didn't even know, like this knife looking thingie, the star thingie or the piece paper thing. "Just what are these." Since all her father told her was a warrior could either fight with a Spear, Bow, Sword and more but these things she is seeing she didn't know about them.
'He doesn't have any wounds or blood on his clothes. Just dampness from the water.' She thought 'He'll be okay…I think he sure looks like a fighter to me…should I bring him to town? No they'll probably execute him or something.' She scratched that idea 'He's weak and helpless so he'll probably be food for some wolves or something.' So picking up the heavy latter and his bags, she settled him in a small cave she found. Leaving him there and noticing the sun was setting she looked at the boy and noted she would return tomorrow with a blanket for him, making him a fire and putting him in a safe distance that way he could dry up. Taking one last look at the boy she returned home.
Kassandra wasn't sure why she was smiling as she was running through the forest with a blanket in hand, she had snuck away from her parents gaze and right now this excitement of getting away with something was really amazing to say the least. Arriving at the cave she walked in to see the blond still knocked out cold as yesterday. 'When well he ever wake up?' she thought as she noticed the ashes made by the burned out wood that was left by the fire which dissipated during the night. Putting the blanket beside the boy Kassandra walked outside as she broke a branch from an olive tree which were known to grow in this region, returning back to the cave she swept the ash out of the cave which was an actual pain since the wind for some reason kept blowing back to into the cave. "By the love of Apollo would you just stop." She complained to the wind as for some the god answered her plea as she was able to sweep the ash out of the cave, breaking off some branches from the same olive tree she made a small fire pit as she added the branches beating a rock to another one she lit up a fire.
After that she unraveled the blanket out came out some pieces of bread which she put aside as she then undressed Naruto as she put his jumpsuit aside leaving him in his drawers as she rolled him up into it like a burrito, making it as tight as possible that way he didn't get a cold. 'This is such…work, being a nurse is very energy draining.' She thought as she mushed the bread into some water as she fed Naruto the wet bread. "Eat up." She said as she opened the Uzumaki's mouth as she shoved the bread into his mouth. Closing it and working his jaws she was able to make him swallow it, she did so over and over till she thought he had enough. "Done…" she said as she laid Naruto next to the fire, 'I should probably return home. Pater would probably be back from duty and he'll want to train me.' She thought as she walked to the entrance of the cave. 'This is really not safe, what happens if a wolf or bear walks in here and finds him? The last I want is to find him mauled, so I'll have to make this entrance predator proof…but with what is the question.' She thought as she scanned outside the cave to land here eyes on a small field thornbushes. "That'll work."
Returning back to the cave entrance Kassandra had scratches on her hands and cheek. 'I'm going to so much trouble for one person.' She thought as she barricaded the entrance going from one bush to another, eventually the entrance was so predator proof that they would most likely stick clear away from the cave. Kassandra made sure to make herself a gate to enter the cave which included her lifting up a broken thorn branch which blocked the into the cave. Seeing this big improvement the girl decided to bit the still knocked out blond farewell.
At home her mater was busy asking if anyone seen the blanket she had left to dry in the morning but Kassandra just kept quiet and acted dumb, sure she didn't like lying but the blanket was being used for a great cause. It was saving a life. Her training with her pater was getting more and more vigorous every day that she forgot about the blond for two days. When she remembered him with lightning in her feet she snuck away telling her mater that she was going to train. Her mater not talking any suspicion of Kassandra's behaviour didn't argue.
Arriving at the cave Kassandra saw that the thorn bushes where how they were when she had left, picking up the thorn bush that was in the way she put it aside as she walked in the cave to see the still kicked out blond, checking his pulse she note it was getting stronger but only slowly. Just then a stench of smell crept into her nostrils. 'Eugh!' she thought in disgust as she noticed that the boy had such a stench it was revolting to smell. 'I need to clean him, like now!' she thought as she unwrapped the Uzumaki as she noticed he had soiled the blanket as well. 'You've got to be kidding me!' it had went past her drawers which were also stinking like crazy.
So with all her wits she was able to get the Uzumaki to the river she found him, there she got him naked as she cleaned him from head to toe scrubbing his feet with some rocks and cleaning his hair with her hands she eventually finished cleaned him, putting him to the side. She cleaned the soiled blanket and the jumpsuit noticing how bright the colour she thought why would some one wear such a thing. Anyway after everything dried up she returned to the cave rolling Naruto back into the blanket as she had made a new fire for him. As she sat beside the Uzumaki she decided to tell him a story. "This is a story my Mater told me one time, it's about the Trojan War that had the greats of Achilles and Odysseus in it. You look like someone who likes stories so let me tell you about it. It all began when Helen who in future is then known as Helen of Troy was kidnapped by Paris. One of the princes of Troy..." she began to explain the story to the unconscious blond who was listening even though he couldn't wake up.
