Tokyo Tower was in chaos. Gunshots rang out, breaking windows and embedding themselves into walls. Bodies were strewn about everywhere.
A group of men with sunglasses were huddled behind a stand, all armed with guns. One of them had short green hair and was blindfolded. His pair of sunglasses were worn over his eyes.
"What's wrong, west side?!" One of the men shouted into a phone, only to receive nothing but static.
They stayed silent, not moving an inch.
One second.
Two seconds.
"Above us!" The green-haired man shouted.
One of their men was shot from above, as young girls fired down on them. The others retaliate by shooting upwards. One of the shots broke the sunglasses of the man with green hair.
"Majima!" One of his comrades yelled.
The man named Majima grit his teeth, and tried focusing on the sounds that would let him and the others live.
He heard footsteps.
"Under the big clock!"
One of the men threw a grenade, blowing it to smithereens.
"Four in the cloakroom. In the shop to the right, three under the cash register."
They threw more grenades, as Majima aimed and fired off several more bullets. Another explosion later, and the gunfire stopped.
"They're all dead." One of his men said, standing up.
More footsteps.
"Not yet. There's one left!" Majima shouted.
These footsteps however, were far slower. He could hear them from fairly far away, so the threat wasn't clear just yet.
Until a click was heard.
[Kuwagata!]
He heard a stamp press.
[Deal.]
A sinister tune played as footsteps slowly approached. Majima listened intently, but couldn't figure out where they were coming from.
The footsteps grew closer, and turning around the corner was a girl, younger than the others. She had pale blonde hair, and red eyes.
"Majima, there's something around her waist. Some weird belt."
His eyes widened behind his blindfold.
"Kill her! Quickly!" He ordered.
The bullets were all aimed at her as she held up her arms. A giant bronze stag beetle blocked all of the bullets as the girl's eyes briefly flashed.
"Henshin."
She stamped the belt once more.
[Delete Up!]
Energy surrounded her, completely unraveling her and hiding her from view. The stag beetle clung to her arm, before the light flashed as the belt let out more sounds.
[Unknown. (Michi) Unrest. (Konran) Unlimited. (Koeru) Kamen Rider Over Demons!]
As the light faded, the transformation was complete. Standing in the girl's place was a masked warrior. The body was red, with blue and silver armor. Hanging over its right arm was a bronze stag beetle-like armament, with a beetle wing cape flowing freely. The head was silver, with the stag pincers on the left side of the face, and glowing yellow eyes.
"What the hell-?"
Those were the man's last words, as the armored figure rushed forward, throwing a punch that shattered his ribs, killing him on the spot. The others started shooting again and throwing explosives, but the warrior was far too fast. With simple punches and kicks, they were being wiped out, one by one. One man tried to get behind her, wrapping his arms around her neck. She grabbed him by the face, and smashed his head into the ground. She threw him skyward, before catching him by the throat. Lifting him up, they were eye to eye as her fingers dug into his neck.
"Please…" He begged.
There was a sickening crunch, as the masked warrior dropped him to the floor, lifeless. Majima panicked; he was one of the only two left. In an act of defiance, he pulled out his smaller gun and aimed for the face.
This time, the warrior didn't bother dodging as the bullet simply bounced off. She slowly walked forward as Majima kept firing, each bullet just as ineffective as the last.
How…? Majima questioned.
She punched him in the stomach, causing him to spit up blood as he was knocked onto his back. The other one left did the same, only to receive a kick to the stomach that destroyed several organs.
"Majima… detonate it…" He said as he fell, dead like all the others.
The warrior stamped the front of her belt.
[Charge!]
She turned to Majima, pushing the sides of the belt. The man couldn't see her at the moment, but he didn't need to.
He could tell if the eyes of a killer were looking at him.
[Demons Finish!]
"Damn it…" Majima cursed.
Several appendages shot out of her back, ready to grab Majima and rip him apart. But they never reached him.
He pressed the detonator, as a massive explosion engulfed the entire Tokyo Tower.
10 years later, one Chisato Nishikigi opened the curtains to a bright and sunny day.
"It's a great day today, and I feel so great. I'm so thankful!" She sang.
Her little morning routine was interrupted when her phone rang.
"Morning, Sensei." She said, picking up.
"Chisato, come over right away." The voice said.
"Huh? It's a lot earlier than the appointed time, right?" Chisato asked.
"We've got some trouble." He said, as she grabbed her bag.
"The coffee was almost done brewing too…!" She complained.
She was just about to get out her door, before running back and snatching something off her couch.
"Can't forget this!"
She tossed in an orange belt-like device and a black and red stamp into her bag, before running out of her apartment and down the stairs. Hopping onto her scooter, she started riding to the destination given to her.
In the constitutional nation of Japan, and its capital city Tokyo, there are no dangers. We cannot allow the existence of people who disrupt our society. We can't even allow them to exist in the first place. Erase, delete, eradicate, and beautify. Dangers never existed to begin with. Peace is upheld by the very nature of us Japanese people. To be able to think that way makes me the happiest. And we are the ones who create that. The purpose of a Lycoris.
She stopped at a red light.
At least, that's what I was told!
"Oh, Chisato-chan!"
She turned to see a man in his thirties wave at her from the sidewalk. Around his neck was gold medal.
"Hi Ikki-san!" She waved. "I see you're back!"
"Yup. You're doing well, I hope?" He smiled. "You're just as much of a busybody as I used to be."
"Yeah! Oh, and I saw that awesome last second goal you made! Never seen anything like it!"
"Ha ha, thanks. But it was a team effort." Ikki said humbly. "Anyways, I got to head back home. Feel free to drop by the spa anytime, alright?"
"Of course!" She grinned. "See you later, Ikki-san!"
She drove off as the light changed from red to green. Ikki smiled as she left, continuing to walk back home, a hand on his medal.
The other hand over his heart.
A/N: Hello everyone, and welcome to my newest FanFiction; A Healing Heart.
Lycoris Recoil is hot stuff at the moment, and I can certainly understand why. It's a fantastic anime so far, and I hope that it'll continue to do so.
I've been brainstorming several crossover ideas for it, with some of the past examples being Kamen Rider Kabuto, BlazBlue and SPY X FAMILY.
But the end result on what I've settled for is Kamen Rider Revice. The series has recently completed, and I enjoyed it. But a comparison between several of the characters had got me thinking, and lo and behold, a fanfiction has come forth.
However, this will be the first and only chapter for a while, as I'll be waiting for Lycoris Recoil to finish before I start writing more. Depending on the ending, I may change it as well, so I'm gonna hold myself from writing it all out immediately. In the case of Revice, I'll try to fit in elements of new stuff that comes out after, like the team-up with Geats or the V-Cinema for Daiji and Hiromi. But if it ends up contrasting the story far too much, I'll likely ignore it.
With that said, feel free to leave reviews on what you think could happen for the fic or otherwise. Some predictions could help shape the way I end up writing the story.
Thank you for reading, and I'll see you all next time.
