Harry Potter and the Wishing Well

PLEASE READ AUTHORS NOTES:

Because I waste time writing them so, please indulge me :)

AN: Hi guys, I hope you're all well and welcome to my story.

So, this is another creature story. A different style as opposed to my vampire and werewolf story.

This story is for the spirit of Halloween although it's not scary.

It's hopefully a fluffy celebration of Lily and James. Hopefully being the key word here.

The story will actually be a bit more centred on Harry but if I finish this hopefully before Halloween then you'll what I mean.

So first some inspirations for this story will be coming from the Acotar series. If you don't know what that is, it's a wonderfully trash book series about fairies from an author called Sarah J Maas. The series is absolutely horrendous in my opinion but in the best way possible. It's kinda of addictive.

The inspiration is minimal but if you do read the series then obviously the certain aspects of the plot belong to Miss SJM.

I'm writing this story as I go along. I got this idea right at the end of September so this idea is fresh and it may change, so I'm really just working out the kinks at this particular moment.

I might just post the first chapter and finish it and then post the rest of it. Hopefully that will be motivation to finish it before Halloween but my mind likes to come up with ten thousand different stories at a time so there's no guarantee on that promise.

If I don't even finish it before Halloween I'll still attempt to finish and post it.

So, while I have read Acotar for some unknown reason I don't read creature stories in Harry Potter but I know that HP has its own lore with certain creatures. I actually don't know if normal fairies exist in this universe. I know Doxies and Pixies do which they will be featuring or at least getting a mention but I don't know about just normal fairies. I don't know if there's any canon or fanon lore for them so like I said the minimal inspiration will come from Acotar.

If anyone does know something I don't feel free to drop that info or even a recommendation of a popular fae HP story.

I think my idea of fairies is the normal mythological version of fairies but just in case.

While this story isn't scary there are a few themes that could be considered mature but the idea is fresh so if it does become mature the rating will change.

The story is a little AU but not too much.

Constructive criticism is always appreciated cause I'll...Imperio...you...to...sleep...with...the...fishes...if...it...isn't ;)

Sorry for any mistakes in advance and I hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter and we all know it; I just leech off of the idea just like the rest of you do. ;)

YOU MAY PROCEED.
