Hey! First Kenshin fic. I guess I start off with a poem more often than not… hmm. right, well, any q's ask, and so forth… its Kaoru thinking at the beginning of the Kyoto arc. well, you know what that means.. so- I don't own Kenshin- thought I'd forgot, huh? got ya. so on with it.
My tears, they fall unshed,
From eyes dulled by the pain
Your leaving brought us all.
You let all my love fall,
From its peak, to its plain.
Not free, but trapped instead.
You left to fight a war,
Leaving me safe, to live
My old life, with out you.
No matter what you do,
To you my love I give
No one deserves it more.
From your path, should you turn,
A light to guide your way
Resides where time is still.
My soul this light does fill
Rainbow fire from gray,
Forever will it burn.
