This is an AU fan fic featuring my own original character of Reela and the male/Buck black and gold/silver stripped male Indominus Rex that the original in the original film killed and ate. "Buck and Reela"

I do not own the intellectual property rights to the characters in the Jurassic World Franchise. This is an AU fan fic featuring my own original character of Reela and the male/Buck black and gold/silver stripped male Indominus Rex that the original I-Rex, Indy, in the original film killed and ate. In this one he lives and is the opposite of his sibling. Read and follow how his and Reela's relationship would've changed the whole dynamic of the series thus far. Includes appearances in Camp Cretaceous. Will tie in with "Fallen Kingdom" and "Dominion." Will also feature the appearance of human dinosaur hybrids. Read and enjoy.

"The Caregiver and The Black Sheep"

It is a warm humid day on Isla Nublar. The official home of Jurassic World owned by Simon Masrani. In an enclosure on the other side of the island. A big black creature with golden and silver stripes with tall spikes and horns like a Carnotaurus also colored gold awakens to greet the sun just as a brave human enters the enclosure. The creature is the second Indominus Rex created by Dr. Henry Wu who is a male and his name is Buck. Named that after his handler and friend entering his enclosure, Reela Matensura. Buck is jet black but covered in bands of stripes of gold and silver with osteoderm spikes on his back and horns on his head that are also gold. To show he is a male he has long blue display feathers on his forearms and the innerside of his arms. Along with a crown of red and gold feathers on his head and his throat and chest being bright red. The underside of his throat is bright sapphire blue. Also, unlike his sister his face is fleshier with actual lips cover his teeth. Unlike the other large predatory dinosaurs, like Rexy. Reela is a brown skinned woman of Iran background who enters his enclosure in her mid-drift, hot pants, and hiking boots get-up. "Hello Buck, good morning big fella. How's my boy?" She says as puts his nose down to nizzle her before grabbing her and while it always shocks the guards, he gently hugs her before putting her down. "Okay lets give his breakfast." She says over her radio to the men who bring in a small flatbed truck covered in four dead beef cows. Before eating them, Buck does what his deadly sister never does. He eats leaves first before he eats the meat. One of the asset containment crew asks Reela, "Why is it this one eats leaves along with meat while the other is a total carnivore?" Reela, "You got me. All I know is he is nothing like his sibling. It's still hard to believe that with-out my intervention she probably would've killed him. For though they are both hybrid carnivores with a little therizonsaur mixed n. He is gentle, sweet, affectionate, loves being touched, and is protective. Unlike his sister who Masrani only sees as good for instilling fear in customers. That's why he had Buck sent here to other side of island away from public view. Just as well, I don't think many people come to the park just to see a gentle carnivore. They want the scary ones." The guard, "Well I certainly feel at ease around him." "Oh, it's time for his morning exercise. The one time it is wisest not to be around him."

An edmontosaur burst out from a grove of trees and Buck burst out from the trees changing color from green back to black, gold, and silver as he cases the dinosaur. Until the hadrosaur runs into a tunnel and the door shuts behind it before buck can get it. Roaring in frustration. "Hey Buck!" Buck as he looks up seeing Reela on the rails along the edges of his wider training ground. She blows a horn and uses a megaphone to talk to him. "Alright now follow me around." As she walks, he follows suit. She calls over the radio to the man in the crane, "Okay be ready to drop when I say." Buck gives a little bellow to intimidate. "Hey, shut it and lock it up." "Roar!" "I said Lock It Up!" Buck gets his feet together and points his eyes down. "Hey look at me!" Then he gives a bow of respect, and she does the same. "Alright release the treat." The crane drops into the enclosure a dead triceratops. Buck bends down to eat but then Reela shouts, "Hey! Did I say it's time to eat? Keep your focus on me." She gestures her hand up, "Eyes up. Good! And go ahead and dig in." And he piles into the carcass ravenously.

Then Buck looks up her and starts making strange hand motions that confuse the assest containment person. "What's he doing?" Reela, "He says thank you it is very good." Officer, "Oh like a how puppy says thank you." "No, how a mute person says thank you in sign language." Another officer in shock says, "Whoa! Whoa! Back up. You're saying this lizard speaks in sign. As in he can talk! But I thought he like all the other dinos are nothing but big dumb lizards." He then looks down at Buck who gives a snarl of dissatisfaction at calling a big dumb lizard and starts making hand gesture signs. "What is he saying?" Reela looking at the man agitated as well, "In the nicest way he is saying yes I can talk, and watch who call dumb." Buck then slams his tale into the wall that makes the guard fall off from the rail into the enclosure. Buck approaches with the guard panicking. Buck rears and roars into the air. Before sitting back down on his haunches while the rest of the asset team comes in ready to subdue him with Reela being with them. The stun guns are pointed at him. He signs and Reela translates, "Tell him who looks like the dummy now."

A little later it is brought Mr. Masrani's attention. "Sir you won't believe this. The other I-Rex, the black male called Buck. He can talk. Well technically in sign, but he talks." "Hmm, A dinosaur who can talk." He steps away a bit before realizing, "A dinosaur who can talk." Turning back to the messenger saying, "A dinosaur who talks…! Now that's a game changer. A dinosaur who can talk. That's… That is going to change everything. The world's first talking dinosaur." He calls ups Claire who is presently driving in her jeep after thinking the other grey and more aggressive I-Rex has escaped calling the radios that Reela pulls out her radio to hear, "Attention control and all personnel. We have asset out of containment. Repeat! We have an asset out of containment." Then Reela while in Buck's paddock hears control over the radio. "Lock down the other I-Rex's enclosure. Keep constant eyes on him incase he tries to escape to. All other asset containment personnel head to north sector. Keep track of the I-Rex through its chip and try to contain it." Buck remembers how his sister tried to kill him when they were still only a few weeks old, and it makes him slink back into the trees and camouflages himself. Reela goes over to him to comfort him, "Oh there, there, big fella. You're safe here. It's just so hard believe that you're still scared. Though I cannot blame you." Then over the radio they both hear as the I-Rex slaughters the containment team. Then as the helicopter Masrani is in is shooting at the I-Rex before she smashes into the pterosaur aviary and releases all the pterosaurs. Reela gets up and heads for the door. Buck puts his left arm infront of her. "I know you want to keep me safe, but a lot of lives will e lost if I don't help. You stay here if you want, but I'm going to help." She goes out the service door. While Buck gets into a fetal position. The rest of the events happen as they did in the film until Reela encounters Owen, Claire, and Claires nephews in the creation lab.

Reela, "Owen, Miss Dearing. I'm glad I ran into you two." Zach, "Who is she?" Owen, "This is my friend and fellow animal trainer. Reela Matensura. She is the caretaker of the other Indominus." "Wait, there are two of those monsters." Reela, "Hey the one that is tearing up the place maybe unfortunately his sister, but Buck is nothing like her." Zach points to the open door of Wu's lab as he says, "Uh gang look." They walk in and see all his side experiments and the computer screen showing all the other potential hybrids Wu was working on. Claire, "What is all of this?" "I'm afraid that information is way above your paid grade," says Hoskins as he enters with a gun trained on them. Then Zach points to the screen again as the I-Rex appears on it. "That's not a dinosaur." "Uh no kid. I think of it as the future. Can you imagine a creature with the same abilities as that, but a fraction of the size? Able to hide in plaine sight even from our most sophisticated tracking technology and able to obey commands. Nature already created the perfect living weapon. We are just simply refining it." Then Charlie comes in a kills Hoskins. Then the story continues like in the film with the group running from the raptors only to be cornered by Blue, Echo, and Charlie and then the Indominus until Blue turns on her and the others attack. Only for Charlie and Echo to be killed by the I-Rex. When Zach says, "We need more teeth," Claire and Reela go to get help. While Claire is at Rexy's enclosure gate Reela arrives at Bucks overrides the system to open the gate for Bucks enclosure. She stands at the entrance and ignites a flare to get Buck to come to her. "Buck! Come here boy." He walks up through the exit standing tall over her. She reaches out her right hand to gently put it on his snout between his nostrils. He has a look of concern as she says, "You're not going to like where we need to go, but lives are in need of saving and you maybe our best hope of saving us." The I-Rex is about to kill Rexy and Blue is still out cold when Reela comes back with Buck.

The two I-Rex siblings look square at one another and both roar. Only for Buck to cower back and that prompts Indy to attack first.

"Battle of the I-Rex's"

Indy bites and rakes Buck fiercely while he is just trying to push her off of him. She bites his throat and then claws his side. She has him pinned and when he is about to give up Reela shoots Indy in the face. This makes her turn in the direction of the bullet to see it is Reela firing at her shouting, "Get away from my boy you bitch!" Indy then roars before chasing her and trapping her in a doorway just out of reach of her claws.

Buck sees her trapped and in danger of being killed by his twisted sister and then within him, something finally snapped. He then lets out an ear blowing roar and that makes Indy turn toward him again as he stands up fully erect this time to show how big he really is. A full head taller and ten feet long than her. She charges at him again, but this time Buck slams her with his tail. Making her crash into a building. She comes at him again, but he grabs her mouth shut. She claws at his arms, but he does not let go. He then closes his fingers on his free left hand together and stabs her in her side to impale her flank. This makes her flinch back in major pain. Then her attention goes back on Reela along with Claire, Owen and the boys. She is about to go after them when Buck grabs her from behind and body slams her before getting her in a head lock. She fights ferociously to free herself while Buck refuses to let go.

Buck realizing that his sister will never change and with a tear of sorrow he gives the biggest effort of his life and breaks her neck. Killing her in an instant with great and loud snap twisting her head completely backwards and falling to the ground dead. He gives a sorrowful roar of remorse at what he had done. He then lifts his sibling's corpse up and carries her body over to Mosasaur lagoon and throws it into the water. For which she drags beneath the surface to eat with pleasure. When it is over Buck is then approached by Rexy and Blue who are not sure whether he wants to fight them or not. Instead, he gives a bow of respect and lies on his belly in submission. Rexy roars at him. This prompts him to stand up and lock eyes with her. There is an intense stare between them until Buck then turns away and starts to walk away with his tail held low and giving no sign of aggression with Rexy and Blue looking at one another briefly before walking their separate ways as well. Zach, "What just happened?" Reela, "Well in a nutshell. At seeing me, the closest thing he has ever had to a real mom. He finally was able to come out of his comfort zone and face the monster that haunted him since his early days. His nightmare is over, and he made it clear to the others that he was interested in fighting. Showed his respect and walks off to further show that he did not want to fight them." Claire, "We owe our lives." Owen, "Yeah, but now what."

The evacuation ferries arrive to bring guest and staff back to the mainland as the island will be abandoned. Reela meets with Owen and Claire with Claire asking, "Are you serious?" "I am. I have decided to stay." Owen, "I have no doubt you can survive here, but why do you want to stay?" "I don't really have any family to go back home to, and I think Buck is still going to need me. Afterall Hoskins made it clear that he was not in it alone and it's only a matter of time before evil twisted men come for him to use him as a means of creating more monsters or worse, living weapons. I have to protect him as best I can for as long as I am able." Owen, "Well then I guess this is goodbye." "Yeah, you two take care of yourselves and each other." Claire, "Same to you." They shake hands and she gives a simple fist bump to Owen before turning away and sneaking out past security. Later she watches as the last ferry leaves, and she turns her back to the sea to head back inland.

She heads to the creation lab and finds that while the files have been wiped clean. Wu still left the original printed plans for the Indominus Rex and all the equipment is still fully operational. Reela gets the computers up and running and begins re-entering the data and then takes a sample of her own blood and begins sequencing it pulling up hybridization. "If I am going to protect Buck. Must do so in a new way. There is only so much I can do for him as a mere human being. If we are going to protect one another. I need to be more than human." All this being said with-out knowing that a short in the wiring has caused power failure in another building and fog coming out of door labeled E750 before a piercing shrilling roar is heard.

"Beauty becoming a beautiful beast"

Reela is outside following the trail Buck left while following his tracking chip on her data pad. She walks she past a stegosaurus, a group of Triceratops and a small herd of parasaulophus drinking at the watering hole along with the brachiosaurs and dreadnautus's. She sees that his tracking shows he has not moved. She comes to a small clearing among the trees and finds that according to the tracking chip she is right on top of him. She looks and finds a lump of his flesh with his tracking chip still in it. "Clever Boy, you remember where they put in. Good for you and thank you. Because now you have given me the key I need for my metamorphosis."

Back at the creation lab she takes the sample of his flesh and puts in the bio-analyzer. The genetic material is still intact, and his DNA sequence is put on the screen. Then Reela pulls up her DNA sequence and puts the two next to each other. She then types in the command for the computer to integrate Indominus Rex DNA and human DNA together. Create serum to safely infuse Indominus Rex DNA with human DNA. Computer asking that there is a high risk of instability. Do you wish to proceed? She clicks proceed and the computers begin the integration process and working out the formulation for the serum. With it reading estimated time needed until completion and stabilization of formula 90 days. "I can wait till then. Still I better check on Buck to see how well he is doing."

At the same time Buck is hunting for the first time by stalking a hadrosaur. He is camouflaged and when the hadrosaur turns in his direction he stays stalk still. A tense moment not knowing if he has been spotted or not. Then hadrosaur continues browsing. He stalks closer walking on all four carefully placing his hands and feet to muffle his approach. He is nearly with-in striking range when places his left foot into a fern and steps on an unseen fallen branch that snaps. This makes the hadrosaur turn its head instantly in the direction of the sound. Buck remains still and gets low to conceal his outline. The hadrosaur is still looking, but still has not spotted him and calmly resumes eating. But as Buck gets up the wind shifts and blows his scent towards his quarry, and it bolts. Buck gives chase but is out stepped and his first hunt is a failure. Then he trains his nose up and smells something enticing on the wind. As he follows the scent trail he comes upon the place where Indy his sister slaughtered the park containment unit. It gives him an uneasy feeling like she could return and pounce on him, but he remembers that she is dead. He moves on to continue to follow the scent until emerging from the trees to the field where the three dead apatosaurus lie where Indy killed them but left the bodies untouched. He decides that despite not eating them after killing her prey. He will not turn down like any other carnivore a chance at an easy meal. Finding several other carnivores at the kills including Rexy, an Allosaurus, a Carnotaurus, Spinosaurus, and a Ceratosaurus. Rexy roars at him as claim on her meal. He then looks at the others and goes straight to the Spinosaurus. Charging at him with a powerful roar and holds his arms and claws in a threat display to scare him away which he does and relinquishes the carcass. He looks at the other two carnivores who begin to back away. He is now the new king of the island and eats his fill.

Meanwhile Reela follows his trail right to mouth of a now abandoned storage bunker seeing crates and stuff moved out and has assemble trees, fallen poles, leaves and grass into bedding. "He has made his den here. And his urine scent is fresh and pungent. I'll wait here." Hours pass as the sun sets until Buck comes into view with Reela standing at the entrance. Buck roars a warning until Reela yells, "Calm down Big Boy it's me." Buck approaches and is confused as to why Reela is here. He talks in sign, "Why are you here? Should you have not left others of your kind." She signs back, "I did not leave because I do not have family to back to in the outside world. You are my family, and family stays together." She picks up a stick and breaks it signing, "One though strong in body is still weak when alone. When family stands together, they are stronger than apart. One alone weak, together we are strong." Buck, "Not sure you should stay. You are strong in here. Weak and vulnerable outside." Reela, "I am working on way to make that no longer my problem. Trust me, Buck." "Okay, I still don't know if it is right for you to stay, but I am thankful that you are. Mother."

That night Reela tries to sleep, but Bucks snoring keeps her awake until she fashions some ear plugs. Buck is stirred slightly when he hears an unfamiliar shriek of a roar in the distance. But then he goes back to sleep.

Three months later Reela returns to the creation lab and unlocks it after the full 90 days has passed. Reela asks computer, "Is the serum ready?" "Serum 100% ready." "Is the formula stable." "There is 98.68% the serum is safe for use." "I like those odds." The serum is put into a handheld injection gun as a red serum.

She goes back to Buck at his den. Seeing him dragging a stegosaur to the den and has fresh wounds on his flanks from the fight that are beginning to heal. Buck looks at her as she approaches and she signs, "Hello Buck. You are becoming quite the hunter." Buck replies, "Thank you, I only kill to eat." "As it should. And I have got a surprise for you." "What surprise?" "You'll see. I it works then I will have a better connection to you and your world, and maybe a better connection to the world around me." She enters the den and takes off her clothes saying, "I won't be needing these anymore." Then she steps out into the sun holding the injection gun in her right hand. Buck, "What is that you hold?" Reela, "Hopefully something will enhance my life and bring us closer than we were before." Her handshakes as she prays, "Please Allah let this work." She summons up her courage and injects herself in her neck where her carota artery is. She drops to the ground as she starts trembling. Her fingers shed their nails and grow claws. Her skin begins to shed away revealing dark chocolate brown scales with red stripes. Her feet lengthen until she is walking on her toe pads with the arch of her foot being as long as her entire lower leg with the heels held completely off the ground. Her toes lengthen and her big toes changing position to become opposable getting sickle shaped raptor claws on them. Her tail grows out resembling a crocodiles. Gets three rows of flip up spikes like Buck down her back. Her head starts to change with her growing a long muzzle and her teeth fall out to be replaced by new tyrannosaur shaped teeth but still keeping 12 molars in the back of her jaws. She grows horns like a Carnotaurus while still keeping her hair and her scales covering her body still have tiny hairs. Finally, as she roars as she opens her eyes and while they are still human like they now are slitted with the retractable membrane to cover them. Then she starts to grow until she stands 10ft tall with her tail being the same length as her height. Buck watching all this in shock and awe asks, "Are you okay?" Reela turning to face him, "Better than okay. I feel incredible. And now it's time for me to choose my new huntress's name. I am Reela 'Fire Heart', the huntress. I may not be as big as you, but this new body somehow feels right for me." She looks into the den and sees everything glowing orange, red, and dull brown. Then when she looks out from the den. Everything is in strange shades of violet, red, gold, and brighter green. "What is it you see mother?" "I think I can see what you see. Everything is clearer, sharper, and see heat images in the shadows where I can see in shades of what we humans call ultraviolet." Then she takes a sniff of him, "Whoa! You stink! Though I guess what you get for having a super sensitive nose. Ha, ha, ha. Well, I know I'll get used to it. Now it's time to test these new legs out," she says as she gets ready to run. When she takes off, she is running twice as fast she did before and is not feeling fatigued. Thanks to her new air sacs pulling in and out air so her lungs don't have too and storing extra oxygen. Then gets down on all four and runs on all fours looking like a long-legged running crocodile. She then leaps into a tall tree grabs its trunk and finds her big toes with their sickle claws are opposable and make her a better climber. Then she tries camouflaging and makes herself the same color as the tree bark and surrounding leaves as Buck enters. Seeing herself in infrared she then concentrates and finds that like Hoskins said she changed her body temperature to the same as the air temperature. Buck passes under her with-out knowing she is there. She looks down and gives a "Yeargh!" That makes him panic in the spot before looking up and seeing her de-cloak herself standing a thick branch above him. Buck, Looks like you're getting quite good with your new self." "Yeah, you could say it was breath taking. Ha, ha, ha." Then she stops laughing as she hears something. A strange almost un-natural roar. "What is it?" She gestures for him to be quite. Then she climbs higher in the tree and using her new eyes that can zoom in and clear up images like built in telescopic camera lenses she sees something obscured by the thick brush. She then comes down to the ground and walks on just her legs towards it with Buck following.

They emerge to find a dead ceratosaurus with it left untouched and the only visible injuries being as a result of it being killed. She sniffs it and looks at under thermal. Signing to Buck, "Still warm and does not smell of decay. It must've been killed not long ago, but whatever did this didn't eat it. The predator just killed it and then left the body." Buck looks nervous asking, "Could be it her?" "Impossible she is dead, no doubt. Still, this is not a natural kill and there is odd scent on it from a creature I don't recognize." Then her attention turns to a cluster of four spines impaled on the ceratosaurs left leg. "What is this?" She pulls one and sniffs it. "It smells toxic. Then when she licks it, she gags. Buck, "What's wrong?" She turns to him to sign, "Whatever creature killed this one has deadly spines that can kill, and whatever it is? It seems to have the same killing and not eating instinct as your twisted sister. We have to find it and stop it or all the creatures this land is home to will die senselessly." "Where do we start?" She sniffs the air and with her new vision sees the scent on the ground. Gesturing with her right arm, "This way." They follow the trail to a square shaped building that Reela doesn't recognize with the door blown wide open. She is just able to fit through the door. Turning to tell Buck, "Wait here and guard the door if it returns."

She walks down the stairs through a hall to another burst open door with it labeled E750. She sees that it is a lab that has been torn up. With the same spikes she found in the dead ceratosaur covering the walls and screens. She finds a laptop on the ground and turns it on. Surprisingly with no security features. Pulls up the file E750 and sees Dr. Henry Wu. She watches all the vlogs of Wu as he describes the Scorpius Rex and that he had it placed in cryogenic suspension. Only to see that the suspension unit meant to hold it failed and realizes it is loose. "Wu you brilliant idiot." Before she leaves, she removes the computer's hard drive and puts in a metal briefcase before smashing the laptop.

She finds Buck still waiting for her at the entrance when she emerges asking, "What did you find?" "A lot, and unfortunate truth." "What do you mean?" "Your sister was not the only or the first twisted killer this land has had. There was another even more unstable beast. It was put to sleep, but now it has awoken and is terrorizing all around it. But now it's going to have to deal with us. Let's catch a monster."

Indominus vs. Scorpius

After leaving the lab Reela found. They follow the scent trail the Scorpius left and keep finding more of it's victims lining the trail of death. Reela carries with her a compact bow and arrow along with a volcanic crystal spear. Finding a dead hadrosaur that she sees through thermal vision was killed only a few minutes ago. "It is close." They both hear the un-natural roar of the Scorpius Rex. Sounding only about 100 yards away. Reela signs to Buck, "Hide yourself. I am going to draw the beast out. Once I have it fully distracted and its attention on me. Then you will strike the final blow. Understand?" Buck knods and goes off into the trees. Changing to blend in and then masking his thermal signature when informs him, "I can still see your body heat." It begins to rain and Reela smells that the beast is upwind of both her and Buck. She climbs into a tall tree with a thirty-foot-wide trunk at the edge of a clearing where Buck is hidden on the other side. Then she mimics the roar of the Scorpius Rex to get its attention.

The Scorpius Rex leaps out the brush into the clearing every bit as frightening as Wu described it. With its un-natural square shaped head and mis-matched teeth. Its roar being more like a machine hitting all the wrong notes than an animal. As the Scorpius Walks it looks for prey with its heat sensing vision for which Buck and Reela are invisible to because they can change body temperature to match the surrounding air temperature.

When the Scorpius Rex is walking past Buck from the front, he leaps out and grabs the Scorpius by the tail. Taking it by surprise and throwing it against a tree. He then runs at it roaring at the top of his lungs, but the Scorpius leaps over him and lands on his back as it begins clawing at his back with little effect. Buck reaches over and behind trying to grab it. However, the Scorpius manages to avoid his clawed hands with slight slithers. Buck manages to grab it with his right hand by shifting his weight and makes the Scorpius loose its footing. He pins it and prepares to deliver the death bite, but then the Scorpius manages to get a tail strike in on the underside of his throat which makes Buck rear up and hold his throat in pain before collapsing on the ground.

The Scorpius circles him and leaps at him only to be kicked away by Reela as she de-cloaks from the tree above Buck. She holds an improvised bladed spear with its bladed end made from a machete. She taunts the beast to attack for which it charges her and she jumps out of the way before climbing into a large tree. For which the Scorpius follows her. Then she grabs a vine and swings around using her feet to grip the bark to come at the beast from behind. Only to discover it gone when she comes back around. Then she looks up as the Scorpius gives it's un-natural roar while leaping down at her. She manages to block it with the staff part of the spear and throws the Scorpius off, but before wounding its left side above it's shoulder and lands on its side in pain. Sees itself bleeding before looking back up at Reela with a roar as she gives a threatening snarl before leaping back down to the ground with spear held pointed straight at the Scorpius. The Scorpius gives another roar as lightning flashes as does Reela. Then the Scorpius Rex turns its attention away from Reela as another similar roaring sound is heard echoing through the tree. The Scorpius Rex then unexpectedly runs away in the direction of the sound. "No!" Reela shouts as she throws the spear. Only to miss the Scorpius by a hair as it suddenly shifts sides and disappears into the forest brush.

Reela then turns her attention to Buck. "Buck? Buck are you okay?" He barely moves and his breathing is shallow along with his scales changing to a sickly hue. Then she sees the venomous spines in his throat. Embedded where his right-side artery is. "No. Buck you have been injected with Scorpius Rex's venom." But he does not react and his color continues to turn to a sickly yellow. Then she remembers Wu's lab and the part in the VLOG about an anti-venom. She reassures with a hug and tells him, "I'LL be right back with some medicine. Hopefully it still works. And hopefully it works on dinosaurs as well as humans." She runs in the direction towards the lab saying to herself, "Just hang in there Buck. I am on my way. Please Allah let him live."

Race against the clock and double trouble

Reela runs as fast as her new legs can take her back to the lab where she found out about the Scorpius Rex. While on the way she passes through an area she does not recognize. Then as she runs she kicks a pile of dirt Infront of her right foot. Revealing a long buried can of Barbasol shaving cream. Briefly looking at it to find it is in two parts. Opening it to discover tiny vials of dinosaur Embryos. "Hey this must be from when that Nedry guy must've stolen dinosaur embryos when this island was Jurassic Park." For some reason she decides to just crush the can and vials before continuing to head for the lab.

She arrives at the lab and begins searching the place over. Looking drawers, on shelves, and under things that were knocked over. Until she finds a small black case. She opens it and sees two small vials and a needle, with the vials saying E750 Anti Venom.

She runs back to Buck past the Raptor Paddock. Only to find the Scorpius Rex in her way. Feasting on a dead dinosaur. It roars at her, but then she roars back and shouts, "I don't have time to deal with you right now. So get out of my way!" The Scorpius just chooses to attack for which Reela braces herself to run. As it charges she then does a spiral leap over as the beast trips over the carcass of the dinosaur it was eating.

As she is running and leaps over the river. She finds the Scorpius again but coming out of tree in-front of her. "Didn't I leave you behind already?" The Scorpius attacks her, but she avoids with a slither and gives the Rex a left upper cut to the jaw. Knocking it backwards and falling over a fallen log. Then as she turns to run she finds the Scorpius Rex leaping out from the brush in-front of her again. "Hey wait a minute. I punched you that way." She says as she points in the direction of where it fell when she punched it. "So how'd you get there so quickly." Then she hears the roar of the Scorpius Rex. Only to find it is not coming from the one she is facing. She turns and gasps in dis-belief for seeing another Scorpius Rex rising up from the ground where it fell over when she punched it. "What?! There are two of you." The other Scorpius Rex roars and attacks but it bypasses Reela before slamming her with its tail as it attacks the other Scorpius Rex. She watches as they fight and decides before running off, "If you don't get along fine with me. You two can destroy yourselves, but someone I care about needs me." Then she takes off again.

She finds Buck skin turning sickly yellow. "Not much time. I hope this anti venom works on dinosaurs as well as it does for humans like Wu. She feels for his neck artery for fastest deliverance to the rest of his body. She finds it, but knows the hide is to thick for a gentle approach. So, holding his head down she jams it into his neck. That makes him flinch in pain before she injects the anti-venom. She steps back to see if it is working. She doesn't see any visible sign it is working. Only for her own vision to start getting blurry. "What's happening?" She says as she looks herself over and finds a Scorpius Rex tail quill in her right thigh. "Oh no, I've been poisoned too. Got to use the anti-venom too." She pulls out the needle and using the second and also last vial of anti-venom injects it into her left arm vein before passing out.

Facing the Past

Reela still as her anthropomorphic human I-Rex hybrid. Finds herself back in her first home. "Hey, I know this place. This is where I lived when I was living in Baghdad." Shen then hears a girl shout, "Stop it!" Reela runs over and looks in the door and sees what she had hoped was forgotten. There was her father beating his wife in front of her before slapping her with his back hand and his boys just watching on. "Girls and women are only meant to be seen when properly covered and do only as they are told! But you Reela! For refusing Hammonds marriage arrangement. You have brought shame upon me. So for that you must die as the laws of Allah dictate." Reela's mom jumps in to take the beating as she shouts as Reela finds her father's assault rifle behind her. "Please husband, stop!" "This is what must be done when the laws of Allah are disobeyed." "You and those fools you stand say, but that is not Allah." He punches her in the gut, "You heretic!" "Stop!" Reela shouts as she holds the AK-47 in her hands pointing it straight at him. "I mean it!" He then lunges for the rifle and she pulls the trigger in reflex and it goes off set for automatic. When she opens her eyes she sees her father lying face down on the floor. Her mother lying on her left side facing her, and her younger brothers against the wall. Al dead with their blood splattered everywhere and she is covered in it. She runs out of the house and gets into a jeep she hot wires. Since her house is on the edge of town and the dessert. The siren doesn't go immediately on. She drives away towards the mountains before the authorities arrive. She ditches the jeep and keeps heading west until she gets to Istanbul. Where she is taken in and taught the right way to worship and honor Allah. Learning that the way she was shown was the extremist way that was not in keeping with peaceful Islam.

Reela asking herself now, "I'm sorry. For everything family. I blamed father for it. I blamed mother for not doing more to stop him. I blamed Allah because I though it was he who said that a man should treat his wife and daughter like that. Please Allah, forgive me for what I have done." Then Reela looks up as she hears a gentle voice say, "Rise and face tomorrow with renewed hope. For tho your acts spilled your families blood. In me and through me. Your impossible debt has been paid. Go and never loose sight of who you are in my eyes. For you will always be my beautiful daughter."

Reela then awakens to find herself back on Nublar as she is in the present and sees Buck starting to stir as well. "Thank you, Allah. Thank you."

She turns to Buck, "Hope you're feeling better Buck. Because we still have couple of psycho killer dinos to stop, but I used all the anti-venom that there was to save us. Before we even engage them. What we need, is a plan."
