Authors note: this is set in december 2003, when Bruce was 10, since James is a year older than Bruce, and James was 12 in 2004

Bruce POV

I had just finished history, which was the last lesson of the day. I was planning to change and play football (or soccer, whatever you want to call it) for the rest of the day.

I walked past Ewart Asker. I mumbled a hello.

"Bruce!' Ewart exclaimed. "Just the man I want to see."

This was good. It sounded like a mission. I hadn't had a mission yet, and I already complained to Meryl Spencer a few times already.

"Do I have a mission?" I asked.

"A big one too," said Ewart.

This sounded very exciting. I followed Ewart to his office. Inside the office were Robinson Hart (my oc) and Joshua Savage (another oc). Robinson a burly 14 year old who had just won the 14 year old category of the CHERUB karate tournament. Joshua was 17, and he was third place in the CHERUB karate tournament. Joshua was probably on his last mission.

"So this is Bruce," Robinson grinned, as if they were talking about me. "I saw your final match in the u-11 CHERUB karate tournament. You crushed it."

I mumbled thanks.

Ewart handed each of us the mission briefing.

Tony Blair

Tony Blait is the current Prime Minister. He has a collection of over thirty cars. (I, the author of this fanfic, am not sure if this is true or not)

Help Earth

Help Earth is an ecoterrorist organization. They have been linked to attacks on several pipelines as well as attacks on senior figures in the mining industry. However, shocking new evidence discovered that Help Earth is now targeting cars, with a Help Earth representative saying, "Help Earth hopes to weed out joyriders who pump fuel in the atmosphere without reason."

The problem

Blair arrived at his Downing Street residence to discover the insurance for his cars stolen, his living area ransacked, and a post it note on his bed telling him to stop going for joyrides.

CHERUB's role

1. 3 CHERUB agents of the same ethnicity and highly skilled at martial arts will pretend to be Blair's adopted children. They will try to find any possible Help Earth connections. After identifying a few potential targets, the agents will return to CHERUB campus, with the suspects told to M15, who will keep up the chase. Hopefully, these suspects will lead us to the core of the Help Earth organization.

2. The CHERUB agents will double as Blair's bodyguards and protect him from any Help Earth attacks.

Points to consider

This mission is classified as MEDIUM RISK and the ethics committee unanimously voted to allow it. CHERUB does not know how far Help Earth will go to stop Blair's joyrides. They are an eco-terrorist organization, and even though considerably little force was applied to Blair, they have been known to use extreme amounts of force. They are ruthless and could try any way to stop Blair, and could even threaten his "children". Although the probability of this is low, agents are warned to be aware of this.

Agents are reminded of their right to refuse or withdraw from a mission at any time.

Joshua scowled at his mission briefing. "What if someone asks why the prime minister is suddenly adopting three kids?"

Ewart smiled. "Because an M15 officer accidentally killed your mother with a bomb during a dangerous mission. Your father disappeared mysteriously a few days later. The prime minister was the one who allowed the mission that killed your mother, and he felt bad. By the way, your old surname was Stevenson, if anyone asks."

"When are we starting this?" asked Robinson.

"Next week," said Ewart. " I'll see you guys tomorrow for a more detailed briefing."
