a/n:I'm fixing my other stories, but this one seemed to pop into my head seemingly at random.

In the beginning everything was dark, cold and lifeless. There was everything and nothing at the same time, a blank slate akin to an artists canvas. Waiting to be filled with their masterpiece. A template and a-

Y'know now that I say that to myself again, I came to realize that it seemed really stupid to say all of that poetic stuff about being a blank slate waiting for an artists touch. I could've straight up said that I woke up to everything being as dark as it was during the Big Bang and I absolutely have no idea as to how or why I am here. One day I was chilling and living my life back on Earth one day at a time, and then boom. I'm over here floating in the absolute middle of nowhere fiddling with my flipping fingers until I either die or just- actually im not so sure. I haven't thought past the idea of waiting here until something interesting happened or I just... died.

But I didn't want to die, so it was back to thinking!

But first I wish I had something to drink, my throat was starting to get parched and then I paused for a moment because of what was in my hands. A drink. My favorite brand of soda to be specific. It just so happened to appear floating right in front of me.. exactly when I thought about It.

"Hm."

I grabbed the can and cracked it open before taking a tentative sip from it, immediately feeling that nice burning feeling from the carbonation in my throat. So without a doubt I immediately downed the rest of it without thinking and tossed the can away. Or as far as I could before it just lost its momentum and started floating in mid air. Which also brought up a good question. Where exactly am I?

Could it be a dream? Or maybe I'm in some sort of coma and this is my imagination running wild on my failing body. I then let out a small burp. Which made me doubt everything I had just said about my appearance here. But then why was I able to summon that can of soda and feel the carbonation?

Also, now that I took another moment to further take in the environment I was floating in. Despite the can floating around, there was absolutely nothing. Did I go back in time something? Or did I survive some sort of mass extinction event and now everything had regressed. Like the Big Crunch, which was the complete opposite of the Big Bang. Everything had ceased to exist and I was here…

That was a little depressing now that I thought about it. Even if it was one of the many outcomes I could've gone through to end up here, it sounded really far fetched. I'm not some sort of celestial being that transcends time itself, I can't just wave my hand and a planet would just be there floating..

I think I spoke too soon. Because either i hadn't noticed it, or I was actually able to summon a big ass white planet from out of nowhere! Flipping myself around and squinting my eyes at the planet, I recoiled in shock as my vision immediately zoomed into the surface of the empty planet.

I shook my head and closed my eyes. This was way too crazy to be real, I summoned a planet! I really don't know where to go from there, It was kinda just sitting there. Not spinning or orbiting anything, which was reasonable. But still, it was as if It was waiting for me to tinker with it.

I then let out a breath and opened my eyes once again, a clear thought finally passing through my skull. Was I isekaied?

As stupid as it seems, its kinda inching towards that factor. I mean, I guess it does explain the whole blank slate of a planet and the atmosphere around it, and with the being able to will whatever I want just by thinking about it..

Well.. I focused my gaze back onto the planet in front of me and wondered. I reached out a hand and pretended as if I was grabbing onto the planet, then I gently spun it like a top. Releasing it and wondering what would happen, I was pleasantly surprised to see it start...spinning! All on it's own too!

I felt excitement pour into my every limb and just let it out with a laugh. Not expecting a huge wave of force to launch out of my body and outwards in every direction. I touched my chest for a moment before looking back up and letting my jaw drop. There were stars. Stars sprinkled all over the black space I was in, I looked back over to the planet I had formed and let my shocked expression turn into one of even more shock.

The planet had split into multiple pieces of rubble and was floating aimlessly. I lifted a hand and watched as the pieces suddenly gained momentum and started moving in a circular formation. All of them pressing up against each other until they formed a giant cluster of spinning rocks. I brought up my other hand and slapped it against my already outstretched one. Watching as the rocks suddenly stopped and collided with each other and once again formed the planet.

"Holy crap.."

I turned both hands around and brought them close to my face for inspection, they were the same cream color but had a small glowing hue around them. Before it fizzled out and my hands were returned to their original form.

Looking back up to the planet once more, this time with a determined look on my face. I started imagining and metaphorically painting on this clear canvas.

From then on I realize that I had somehow turned into a celestial being with the power of absolute creation. I had reign over absolutely anything and everything! Now that it had been a few years since I originally ended up in my own universe, as I liked to call it. I had successfully created some celestial bodies and even other planets, though unlike the first planet I ever created. I was a bit more creative and started experimenting with how I could make each and every atmosphere individual from the other. The first planet I had ever created was Earth, because I still had that sort of attachment to it. Much like the earth I was from, I recreated the Milky Way and the other planets besides earth the resided in that solar system.

Of course, I had to push the other more creative planets I had created far away from earth. The plans that I had for them would be better off not being any where near that planet and I would make sure of that.

The powers I had obtained were limitless and it was just so much fun! I could create anything I wanted and do anything I have ever wanted before when I was a simple human!

With that in mind, I finally turned my attention back to what I was currently doing at the moment. That was creating a specific planet from a specific video game that I had absolutely loved when I was back on Earth. Well, I had created the quote on quote beginning of that universe's reign or whatever I'd call it. I just decided that I would give life to Halo's forerunners before immediately jumping into the human covenant wars. There was alot of nice and informative lore based on them and I wanted to bring it to life.

With that, I took a step back and smiled as I watched my creations mingling with each other, they were of course in their early stages but I decided to give them a little boost by dropping some advanced technology that I so happened to make. I gave a sigh of content as I took one last look at them before making myself appear back over the planet. Looking around at all the many different planets I had also created in this little universe of it's own, I turned and went to go create something else. I would check up on their progress in a few hundred years, I would most likely be busy with creating more things so the time would go by pretty fast.

I took one large step and was brought into another part of the endless black expanse of the universe. Bringing my hands together and smiling mischievously as I once more began forming a planet, this one would have a cracked moon orbiting it.

Over the course of a few thousand years I grew quite bored, to say the least. Not that I didn't have fun bringing all the fictional characters I could think about to life was fun and all. It was just a bit tiring just sitting up here in space and watching, creating, protecting and would continue that process.

Maybe it was time for me to stop creating things for a while, I think I've done a satisfactory amount of creating life in like.. a few millions universes. Which was crazy, I didn't expect to have created that many, and hardly expected to have remembered the exact numbers and dates. It was like my memory was picture perfect, which I guess was a plus when it came to being this powerful.

So what exactly would I do now? I had literally all the time in the world and had all the things I could do at the flick of a wrist. Maybe I could play some video games? Maybe watch some television? I'm not so sure. It didnt really sound interesting compared to using my powers, it'd be exactly how I lived back on Earth. Which did remind me, I did have to check up on the original Earth. I wondered what era they had progressed into? Maybe even chill in that era for a while until decided on what I was going to-

"I got it!" I said while pointing a finger into the air.

Maybe I should live in one of the many worlds I have created for a short amount of time, just to see what it was like? Yeah! That would be cool.

But the problem was, which one? I have a lot of them under my belt and it would be pretty hard to choose one when I haven't even thought about it before now. Maybe one of the video game universes? Maybe even one of the movie universes? It was all possible.

"Hmm…" I presently had no idea, so I decided that I could make a decision with.. this wheel of fortune! Or wheel of universes! Patent pending.

I chuckled to myself before snapping my fingers and a very large and very small worded wheel of universes stood planted firmly into nothingness. I floated on over towards it and grabbed the side of it, taking a small gander at the names I had subconsciously put upon there before dragging it downwards. Floating backwards and watching as it spun. I wondered on which it exactly it would land on, maybe a universe I wasn't really that deeply versed in? Or maybe it was a universe that I'd be disappointed going into.

Tuning back into the slowing wheel, I watched as it ever so slightly hovered over the Avatar universe, I was excited for a moment. But was immediately bamboozled as the spinner inched forwards once more and landed upon…

"Steven Universe?" I caught myself blurting out in confusion.

For sure I've seen this show and know a bit about it, but I wasn't really that deeply interested in it when it came out. I'm pretty sure that was the era where Uncle Grandpa and those other shows came out… Moving on!

I crossed my arms and stared at the spinner for a few more moments before shrugging my shoulders. Lifting a hand I snapped my fingers and the spinner was gone and I was once again in a blank space where I could create. Seeing as I hadn't exactly created or had this universe in mind before now, so I guess I'll work as I go? Maybe it's worth it, I'm not sure.

So with a reluctant shrug I dove back into my mind and tried to remember what exactly the planet where the diamonds lived on.

"Homeworld…"

Right, it was called Homeworld. If I remember correctly, the planet looked somewhat like saturn with its rings and was decently sized. Also it was a white color from a distance, but looking closer the surface rainbow colored because of the gems and uh, stuff. Also a major thing the planet had was the huge ass split in the middle of it, with parts of it floating around. I don't think it needed a sun or a moon, hence them being gems. So with a simple snap of my fingers the planet was formed, cracks and rings ever so present.

I turned around to look at the starless and planet less area surrounding Homeworld and snapped once more. Stars and other random planets with random environments formed, to which I simply gave a nod of approval and turned back to my main focus. About to add some late changes before pausing and remembering something, this universe had an earth of it's own. Well, a very interesting rendition of earth but its earth at the end of the day. So I moved towards a far distance from Homeworld and the surrounding planets before finally stopping at what I assumed was many lightyears away and snapped.

Boom. Earth. Boom. Moon, and boom everything else that made earth and the rest of its neighboring planets themselves.

I floated back towards Homeworld and glanced at it from different angles. Making sure everything was in place and perfect, since everything would start from the beginning of the show's timeline. Being the diamond's creation time and everything I wouldn't have to worry about much until the colonization point in time and everything else.

Now that I set everything up for myself, I now wondered what exactly I would be during my stay. Would I be a gem? A human? A diamond? Or- y'know what. Maybe I'll be a diamond, just to make sure I have a direct point of view and say in things, and for the fun of it.

I popped a mirror into existence and looked at my human form, I had kept myself looking like my regular old human self for a while now. I wondered how exactly I should make myself look, how tall and what color I would be.

"Maybe…black?" I took inspiration from how white diamond looked, minus the dress and heels. I'm a dude for Pete's sake. Anyways, like white diamond but opposite and shorter, so black. I also discarded that helmet thing she wore, It looked really stupid to me so I opted for hair. Grey colored hair that reached down to my shoulders and drooped over my eyes just a smidge, because I just liked that sort of thing.

So with the designs done I did a small twirl in the mirror and looked at myself before making a small change, the white eyes shifted to my original eye colors. A nice green color to stand out from the otherwise dark colors of my person, or rather gem.

Oh, yes! I almost forgot. I was technically naked since I removed the dress and heels, so I simply summoned a black robe that fit loosely around me. Much like the jedi master robes minus the bushes they wore, I was good with being shoeless. Since the robe covered practically everything, no one would see them anyways. To top it all off, a small black gem was placed on my chest underneath the robes, hidden away for my advantage. Didn't want anyone to get any ideas right?

So with that said and done, I snapped away the mirror and turned back to HomeWorld. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was on the surface, it was rather barren since I didn't bother to actually build any of the structures. But soon it would be teeming with a rather aggressive species of space rock people! Yay. But other then that, since I was going to be literally inserting myself into this story. I guess I could change things around and try to soothe how psychopathic white diamond would become.

I looked around for a flat area and dropped from the ledge I was standing on, landing gracefully on my feet and starting on my plan. The first to be created would be white diamond, since she was canonically the oldest one, besides me I guess. By a few thousand years.

Bringing both arms up I started working, the outline of a very large diamond started appearing and once that was it. I promptly started filling it in with a solid and sturdy white diamond material, once the base was done I added a small glow to it and smiled.

With that I set her gem gently onto the floor before moving aside and starting on the next diamond. It was the same process, but the diamond was a lot smaller than whites. I set it down next to hers before moving onto the next, she was relatively the same size as yellow's but like an inch smaller. With hers done I set it down and moved onto the smallest gem, pinks. Really not that great of a person when you realize exactly what she did and how she acted on the show. But I guess she did redeem herself in the end by kickstarting the whole show.

But enough with the rambling. I quickly formed her diamond and set it down neatly next to the other lined up diamonds and stepped back. Right now they were simply lifeless husks that wouldn't project anything, so I waved my hand and some magical dust scattered all over the diamonds. They were absorbed into the gems and each one of them glowed, whites glowed the brightest for some reason.

Though I had given them life, I had to wait for them to form, and since this was their first ever time forming I didn't know how long it would take. So not wanting to risk anything, I sat down and crossed my legs before closing my eyes. I would simply wait, maybe even watch some tv in my head.

I was fifteen episodes into the first season of spongebob before I could finally see the gems start showing signs of forming. So I quickly paused the episode and shook my head, the image of spongebob disappearing and I focused back onto the gems with a small bead of excitement. They all seemed to have spontaneously formed at the same to to the untrained eyes of a normal person. But I was able to see the order in which they formed. First it was white, a minute or two passed and then it was yellow, then blue and then finally pink.

The four of them were formed into various sitting positions and looking around at their surroundings in confusion and curiosity. Then they all looked at each other and then down at themselves. It was like watching giant babies.

Despite them all looking around they didn't seem to notice me sitting there watching them. Which was funny for a few moments. But I decided to cut to the chase and cleared my throat, causing them all to pause and look over in my direction. To their confused expressions I gave them as comforting of a smile as I could.

Before I could speak, the four of them were quick to blurt out their own questions.

"What am I?" Asked white diamond.

"What is this place?" Asked yellow diamond.

"Who am I?" Asked blue diamond.

"Who are they?" Pink asked.

Then they all spoke in unison.

"Who are you?"

I simply smiled again and uncrossed my legs, pulling myself up into a standing position. I stretched my arms out and explained what I had rehearsed.

"Welcome, my fellow diamonds. To HomeWorld!" I spoke with as much sincerity as I could, which I doubted they understood the current emotions I was giving off. But I could teach them later.

To be continued.
