The golden sun each blue-sky morning

Life and prospect, love and all

I sense in you each separate dawning

Within your heart, your life is roaring

Relinquished though, within these walls

I'll see you leave this place no more

Each ghostly, silver, joyful thought

Each true friend you've ever had

Remember all that you've been taught

And all that good-fortune has wrought

Abandon them; here, good is bad

Happiness'll only make you sad

~

Leaking, drained, and slowly giving

They said life was good? They lied!

I sense your mind, mem'ries leaving

Your soul, gone, no longer living

Not one can save you; no one tried!

You're here though you've already died
