Chapter 1 – October 31st, the Night of the Dare

It was Halloween night in the Smash Mansion and, due to a lot of begging from a great part of the roster, Master Hand decided to throw a thematic party. It was due to formally start at 8pm and go on for as long as the crew had energy for. With a literal snap of his fingers, the mansion was fully decorated with fake spider webs and carved pumpkins as well as skeletons of the most varied anatomies. Every room but the bedrooms was now ready for the party that was about to begin. Most of the attractions were to be held on the massive mess hall, which was rearranged to have a dance floor, with the foods and drinks in the back.
While Master Hand and his brother worked on the smallest of details, the roster was getting ready to attend the party. Ness and Lucas, who were part of the group that harassed Master Hand until he agreed to this, were in their shared room as well. Despite having almost two hours until the party started, the two boys simply couldn't wait to get ready and go downstairs to meet with their friends. Lucas threw his butt on the bed and started taking off his shoes.
"I can't believe we got Master Hand to throw a Halloween party!" He squealed and kicked both shoes off. Ness looked down at this boyfriend and smiled. He looked adorable when he was excited. Not much changed after the two consolidated their romantic relationship for the whole roster to see. With how close they were, most people already suspected or thought it was a matter of time for it to happen. Still, it was nice to see how acceptive everyone was. Master Hand even gave them a room to share with a double bed.
"Ness? Is everything okay?" Lucas' sweet voice broke his boyfriend out of his line of thoughts. When the raven head looked up, he saw a naked Lucas ready to go for a shower.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just thinking about how good you look with nothing on like that." He replied with a smirk. Lucas immediately blushed at his boyfriend's remark, taking a shyer stance with his thighs pressed together but still keeping himself fully exposed. The blond boy was much more innocent and shyer than his partner, even if they were no strangers to sex. "And even more so with your cheeks red like that." Ness completed, eliciting a gentle squeal from the blondie.
"Stop playing around, dummy!" Lucas said in between stutters. "We gotta get ready for the party... Dummy..." It didn't stop Ness in the slightest. Instead, the boy just got closer and embraced his naked boyfriend.
"Oh come on, Luke." He murmured huskily, already feeling his way through Lucas' back and down to his ass. The blonde moaned, already hard against his boyfriend's clothed crotch. Ness massaged the cheeks with both hands, squeezing affectionately and grabbing his boyfriend's ass with full hands. "You dork!" Lucas screamed and covered his face, much to his boyfriend's amusement. Ness was already on the process of taking off his clothes, carelessly throwing them on the bed. Once he was done, the raven head grabbed a towel and headed to their private bathroom, giving Lucas a gentle pat on the butt as he passed. The blondie huffed angrily and followed his boyfriend, still red on the cheek and sporting a raging erection.
Much to Lucas' dismay, their shower was uneventful no matter how much the blondie pleaded for his boyfriend to finish what he had started. They ended up showering and putting on their costumes. Lucas, who had already calmed down from his partner teasing him earlier, suggested that they changed into their costumes while facing away from each other to make it a surprise.
"And no peeking!" He said and huffed as he faced away from his boyfriend. Ness giggled and nodded in agreement, then the two started dressing themselves.
Once both were finished, they did a countdown and turned around at the same time. Lucas chose a very detailed onesie based on the Ultimate Chimera. Ness decided to rock a Dipper Pines outfit, complete with the hat and a backpack as well.
After gawking at and complimenting each other, the two held hands and stepped out of their room. Lucas hugged Ness' arm as the two walked through the hallways. Master Hand had done an amazing job with the decorations, but perhaps a bit too scary for the blondie. Everywhere was dimly lit with glowing eyes and skeletons hanging around.
"Master Hand really went all out, huh?" Ness voiced his amusement and chuckled softly with Lucas' scared behavior. Lucas replied with a stutter and a nod. Lucas got much more excited when the two stepped into the mess hall. They paid no attention to Master or Crazy Hand and went straight to the huge table at the back of the room that was full of Halloween-themed snacks.
"Good evening to you two as well." Master Hand said as he floated in the boys' direction. The two turned around to properly address their host and boss, smiling shyly with their mouths already dirty with chocolate on the corners. "Glad to see the snacks are up to your likings."
"They are delicious! Thank you so much for agreeing with all of this and putting so much effort into making everything so cool." Lucas said with a bow, followed by his boyfriend.
The two lovebirds spent the next half an hour chatting with the two hands and eating whatever they felt like from the table. They also helped the two hands with their costume as well. That is, as much of a costume as a floating glove could have. The two gloves decided to go with matching zombie hands for their costumes and, once again with a simple snap of their fingers, the makeover was done. Lucas stared in awe while Ness gave them a thumbs up and an approving nod.
The rest of the Smash cast started to appear little by little, each in their own costumes as well. Samus and the princesses arrived all together, with Link and his younger version tagging along. Then Fox, Falco and Wolf. Bowser and K. Rool arrived together, as well. Didn't take long for the, now nominated as dance hall, to become lively with the full roster of Smash.
Ness and Lucas met up with Toon Link and Villager as soon as the two showed up. Villager was dressed as a Shy Guy, completing the look with a mask. Toon Link had his normal look altered to look like Vaati's. He even did the face paint to match. The four hung out for most of the party's duration.
After half a dozen cups of apple juice, Lucas excused himself to go to the bathroom, and Villager decided to accompany him since he needed to go too and the blondie didn't feel like going alone.
"Shame October is ending..." Toon Link blurted out with a saddened tone. Ness raised an eyebrow at him for that.
"Why's that? Means Christmas is right around the corner, doesn't it?" He replied, now facing the little hylian.
"Sure. But it also means that NNN is about to begin." Link said with furrowed eyebrows and a concerned look.
"NNN?" The raven head was genuinely confused. He had never heard the acronym before. "What is that?"
Toon Link gasped at Ness' question. He had been participating in the challenge for years already, and he was the youngest among the other boys. "You don't know?!" He asked incredulously. "What are you, a caveman?"
"Just tell me already you dwarf!" Ness scoffed and karate chopped Toon Link on the head gently.
"Okay! Fine!" He said while adjusting his cap. He told Ness in detail about the No Nut November challenge, and how he had been attempting it for the past years without success. "And that's basically it." He finished with a smirk.
Ness pondered for a few seconds then spoke his answer without hesitation. "That's dumb."
The little hylian was outraged by his friend's sentiment about a challenge he took so seriously. But he also knew how to rile him up without fail. He smirked and crossed his arms, putting on his most daring look. "Oh yeah? Then why don't we make interesting with a dare of our own?" Ness tilted his head at that. "Unless you're scared. I mean, I'd understand if that's the case."
"No way!" He barked angrily. Toonie knew that would be his response.
"Then, since you think this challenge is so dumb..." He smirked evilly. "If you fail, you go through December in a chicken costume."
"You'll be wearing it once I win this dumb challenge." Ness smirked confidently. The two shook hands to seal their deal, just as the clock struck midnight.
"It's on." Toon Link said menacingly, to which Ness just scoffed. No more than a minute after, the other two boys joined them once again. The group continued chatting for another hour or so, and the party still didn't show signs of stopping. A yawn from Lucas indicated that it was way past the gang's bed time. The blondie looked like he was already sleeping on his feet when the group decided to head to their rooms. Ness guided his boyfriend through the halls and back to their bedroom, saying goodbye to the other boys in the hallway before passing through the doorway.
"C'mon, Luke. Go to bed and I'll be there in a second." He whispered to Lucas, getting a slow nod in response. The raven head wanted to get out of his clothes before he hopped into bed. Once he was just in boxers, Ness headed to bed when something peculiar caught his eyes. Lucas was sleeping with his face down and his ass up. That was a somewhat normal thing to happen whenever Lucas went to bed completely exhausted, commonly after he and Ness had some particularly intense sex, which usually lead to another round even with the boy half asleep. But what really took the raven head by surprise was that Lucas' costume had a butt flap and it was open. Not only that, but the blond wasn't wearing any underwear, leaving nothing at all to Ness' imagination.
