It all started centuries ago when humanity was only at the beginning of striving as a civilization and the far advanced developments of today were hardly a thought. Mysterious creatures started to appear all over the globe, their grotesque physique and the fact that anywhere they would step in, death and devastation would follow earned them the name of revenants. Revenants were known only for their violence and craving of destruction, often bringing plagues and diseases to the people they couldn't manage to personally massacre. Their rise almost brought the destruction of humanity as a whole but among the endless despair of the people a blessing came to be. As if it was a miracle from the gods all of a sudden women started to gain extraordinary abilities after awakening a strange mark on their bodies, with this newly found power humanity managed to fight off the revenants and come out victorious but after this, changes in human society took effect and women became the dominant gender in every aspect. No longer would you call a woman weak if you didn't want to get your ass blown away literally, all because of that mysterious mark now deemed by experts as Stigmas . A mark that could never develop in a man or at least that's what was believed to be until now.

In the center of the town of Royal Woods a Fourteen-year-old Lincoln Loud could be seen nervously shaking in place as he stood outside a big metal door fully aware of the changes that will come to his life as soon as his body gets the enough courage to walk through the entrance of this mysterious place. Hoping to calm his nerves the White-haired boy looked all around the place perhaps searching for the most minimal excuse he could find to turn around and head back the way he came from, but even he knew that he had little to no chance of doing so for more than one reason. As he kept looking around Lincoln noticed a metal sign close to the door "Stigma Academy where the heroines of tomorrow are born" a clear indicator that he was in the right place after all.

"*Sigh* Why do I have to do this? Why couldn't I just go to a normal boy school like everyone else? all because of what happened that night and this stupid mark on my hand."

As Lincoln was speaking he shifted his view to his left hand, where his stigma resided.

"Why do I have you? I'm not even a girl. *sigh* Let's just get this over with, if I don't, I'm definitely going to get an earful from the girls".

As the White-haired boy finished talking he made his way inside the academy all seemingly normal at first glance, nothing out of the ordinary, just your average tall school buildings, an outside sports field , a fancy-looking cafeteria, a girl on top of a tree talking with a squirrel… wait what!? looking back again to make sure that he wasn't imagining things Lincoln was surprised to find out that in fact a girl was maintaining what it seemed to be a casual conversation with the small critter, knowing that if he would have just left it at that, he possibly could have avoided any more strange stuff coming his way, Lincoln tried to walk away but his curiosity just happened to get the best out of him and without any further thoughts he simply called out to the strange girl.

"H-Hey there, are you okay?"

The girl, noticing the sudden call, looked at Lincoln with confusion for a second, then she turned to talk to the squirrel once again.

*Whisper** Whisper*

*Chip* *chip*

"Huh?"

Lincoln slightly tilted his head in confusion as he tried to make sense of the situation around him and figure out why or what the mysterious girl could be whispering to the squirrel, who he could swear that for a second glared at him in a very eerie manner. After a few moments the girl stopped whispering to the small critter and turned to face Lincoln once again. Noticing this, Lincoln began to try and talk to the mysterious girl once again.

"Umm.. Sorry if I surprised you before I'm new here so I don't know much, my name is Lincoln what's you-"

Before he could finish his sentence Lincoln was startled as the girl with impressive grace came falling on top of him in full speed and before he noticed Lincoln was already pinned down to the floor by the mysterious girl who stared at him with intense pressure. Usually he only found himself in this kinds of situations if it involved his older sister Lynn who would not omit the chance to test a new wrestling technique or grappling move on the White-haired boy, but this felt different from those moments, just who was this girl?.

After minutes of intense staring the girl smiled while letting go of Lincoln and after doing so she began to finally speak.

"Mhm, okay I've confirmed you are not a bad person. See chippy, I told you so."

"Ummm? What's going on here?" said Lincoln while looking at the girl with a dumbfounded expression on his face.

"Sorry about that, you see my friend chippy here told me you looked a bit suspicious since he's never seen you before and you seemed pretty nervous while walking around here for a while."

"Wait chippy? You mean the squirrel?"

"Mhm"

"Oookaayy, that's understandable, I think?, but what I was trying to ask is who are you? And why did you suddenly jump on me?"

" Yeah, sorry about that too, usually when it comes to judging a person I think it's best to look at them up close and firmly in the eyes, plus if you were in fact someone bad I would have caught you on the spot, anyway my name is Sid Chang, nice to meet you umm…."

"Lincoln, my name is Lincoln Loud I kinda said it before"

"Oh yeah, now that you mention it you did say it, sorry must have slipped my mind, anyway no offense but Lincoln is very a strange name for a girl you know ? I could almost mistake you for a boy"

"Umm... that might be because I am a boy"

For a second Sid looked at Lincoln with confusion and after a moment the girl started to burst into laughter, apparently caused by Lincoln's words.

" Pfft, good one Lincoln, I almost felt for it but there's no way a boy can be in here, this academy has a barrier that only allows recognized stigma users inside, normal people can't get in and specially not boys, besides you can't fool me I can see your stigma right over there in your hand there's just no way you are a boy"

" Well as crazy as it sounds I'm telling you the truth I'm a boy and yes, I also have a stigma for some reason, that's why I'm here, my sisters asked me to attend this place to help me figure out why I have a stigma even though I'm a guy "

"Hmm.. well now that I look at you closely you don't look much of a girl at all and also you don't seem to be someone who can lie easy so I guess what you're saying is true but still I thought only girls could get a stigma"

" Yeah so did I, but here you have me, *Sigh* Look if you want to say something about it just go ahead I won't judge you, it's already hard enough for me to believe it in the first place "

"I think that's amazing"

"Huh? Wait, you're not going to say something like that's unnatural or why the heck does a boy like you have a stigma?

" Hmm? Why would I say those things? I think a good person like you having a stigma is amazing, sure it's never happened before that a boy has developed a stigma but I'm sure there's a good reason as to why you were the first one "

" A good person? and how do you know I'm a good person in the first place? "

"I told you before I judged your character as soon as I took a good look at you and I could tell that you're a really nice guy, Lincoln "

Blushing a bit over the given complement Lincoln answered back.

"W-Wow, w-well thanks Sid, you're a nice girl too and I guess sort of the only one I know around here so far, well besides my sisters that is."

"If that's the case then umm... Lincoln? would mind if I also became your first friend around here?"

"Hmm? Well yeah sure that would be great but why would you wanna be my friend? We just sort of met a few moments ago "

"Well as I mentioned before you seem like a nice guy plus you are really fun to talk to and…"

"And?"

"And kind of the only other person who hasn't walked away after meeting me "

" Huh? And why would someone do that? "

" To be honest people just think I'm kind of weird and they often just overlook me"

" Cause you talk to squirrels?"

" Not exactly, first of all, the reason I can talk to Chippy is because of my stigma ability, I'm a power user and my ability is animal communication which means I can talk to and understand every kind of animal but it's basically all it can do so, I'm useless in combat."

" Are you kidding!? Talking to animals already sounds cool enough on its own, plus you are a power user? That's really rare to find"

" Hehe, thanks Lincoln, but I doubt it's as rare as a boy with a stigma "

"Yeah, well I guess got me on that one, haha "

" Hehe, yeah…. Hey Lincoln, umm... when I was staring at you earlier, did you by any chance thought I was weird? "

" Well to be honest it did surprised me a bit that you jumped out of a tree to pin me down but I've dealt with things like that before so is not something I would call weird at all, after all I was more focused on the fact that you were talking to a squ-"

Lincoln's sentence was cut short as Sid without any warning jumped in to hug the White haired boy, which in turn made him slightly blush at the girl's sudden action.

"Thanks Lincoln, you really are a nice guy after all"

"N-No problem Sid I was just being honest that's all, plus when you have as many sisters as I do, you can say with confidence that almost nothing can really weird you out "

"Hehe, now I really want to know who your sisters are, Lincoln"

As the pair was happily having a conversation a voice filled with a bit of concern started to resonate around the academy grounds, this voice belonging to a certain girl.
