After another morning in school, Zatanna was in Literature class. Many students in uniforms. She is sitting in her desk alongside her classmates. But coming home will never be the same without her father.
"Hello, students. I am sorry for the delay. We have a transferred student today. Let me introduced you all to June Moone." The teacher introduced to the class a brown-haired girl with green eyes.
Zatanna immediately recognized her old friend. Immediately, the male students took a liking to her. "Miss Moone, please have a seat." There is an empty seat next to Zatanna. It had been years since the two last hangout.
"Great to see you again, Zatanna." She whispered. Zatanna smiled, happy to see her first friend. "Nice seeing you too."
After school, Zatanna and June walked out of the building to catch up for what they have missed for the passed 3 years since middle school. "Wow, I can't believe we ended in the same school like when we were in middle school." June giggled.
"I know right? Remembered that last prank we pulled on our algebra teacher when she cannot stop picking on you?" Zatanna recalled the memories she and June had.
June laughed in responded. "You cannot seem to stop when I tell you to! But then again, she had foam on her face and it took her weeks to wash it off!" She burst out laughing a lot. Zatanna also joined the laughter. While June may have been reluctant to Zatanna's schemes for pranks.
"Yeah, but then Dad found out and grounded me for a month. But it was worth it. Ms. Grindstone definitely deserved it for making you miserable." Zatanna adds.
The two reached the counter for a milkshake. June orders first. "Strawberry please?"
"Chocolate Mint also." Zatanna said next.
"So, how was your dad doing?" June said. Zatanna frozen after being reminded that her father was taken by Dr. Fate in order to prevent Zatanna from becoming Fate for eternity. Zatanna was at a loss for words.
"Um...he's doing well. He had elsewhere to work after finding a job." Zatanna lied. Not wanting to make it a big deal of the loss for today.
"Oh...Okay. Just asking." She stammered taking a sip of her shake.
Then Zatanna's phone began to rang. She decided to take it to pick up. "Hold on, I have to take this." She then answers the phone. "Hello?" As she listened, her expression began to spark for what she is hearing.
"Really? Alright, I'm in. See ya on Friday. And stay whelmed too. By the way, I'm taking a friend with me." Zatanna smirked. June blinked her eyes, curious for who is calling her. But the way she is talking to the person calling her as Zatanna hangs up. She can tell she is seeing a boy.
"Who's that?" June asked.
"Oh, just a friend I was seeing."
"Let me guess, it's a guy." June teased.
"Wow, I once knew you were a shy girl, but this is a new level." Zatanna remarked. "Straight up bold."
"I've guess I've grown a lot." June remarked. Suddenly, a voice similar to June's was crying for help, and only Zatanna can hear it.
"Help! Somebody!"
"Hm? You said something, June?" Asked Zatanna. Unknown to her, a reflection of June was motioning on it's own trying to get Zatanna's attention. But it was futile as the June sitting in front of her somehow blocked the reflection as if it disappeared.
"Oh, nothing! Probably oncoming traffic!" June rebuffed. Zatanna found it a bit off, first she heard a voice out of nowhere. The next, there was no reflection of June through the window.
"Okay...? Anyway, theres a Halloween bash going on. A friend of mine told me that he gotten a mysterious invite. In Bishop Castle. And get this, whoever gets the invitation will get a boat ride to Italy for free." Zatanna said.
"Really? Bishop Castle? That reminds me, I got the invite, take a look." June showed Zatanna a pink envelop with a pumpkin stamp seal in the center. Zatanna takes a look at the envelop as she turned it to see if there was a return address. But to her dismay, there wasn't. No name of the sender who wrote it. "No return address." Zatanna said.
She then opens the envelope to read the message.
"Hello,
You are invited to the eventful Halloween Bash in Bishop Castle. By the time you received this invite, you can either go alone, or bring a friend along, if you dare. Plus, we got goods that you can enjoy. But beware, the place feeds on your fears.
Yours truly,
Your Host."
"That's weird. The host doesn't want us to know who he or she is. Don't you think this is strange?" Asked Zatanna. "This sounded like it was a trap."
"Ooh, bet the person is quite the mystery." June giggled. "Maybe we should tag along and find out."
"Great idea. I got a costume to pick on the way home. Wanna tag along?" Asked Zatanna.
"I'm good. But I'll seenyou tomorrow in class. Can't wait for Halloween Bash in Italy." June stated as she got up from her seat and waved at Zatanna. And the young magician waved back. "Kay, see you tomorrow!"
In June's Apartment, June is facing the mirror. Her reflection is frowning on its own instead of her real body. "You'll never get away with this. I will warn somebody before you hurt anyone!" The reflection said.
But June smiled maliciously. Facing her own reflection that was her true self. "I had been imprisoned in the mirror for far too long. Now see how you like it!"
"I already did what you said and this is how you repaid me?! Zatanna will stop you!" The reflection warned her.
"Oh, if only you would shut up when we were at the shop earlier." June then held out her hand to silence her reflection once more. "No, wait, don't-!" The reflection pleaded, only for June to cast a spell to make her reflection disappear.

"You will?! Great, see ya there. Wait, you're bringing a friend along? Alright, cool. Would be fun to bring some extra friends along in the bash." A teen with raven hair and sun glasses called Zatanna on the phone. "Want me to pick you up or something?" He asked as he listen to the reply.
"Okay, I won't argue. I'll stay whelm for sure. See you at the port then." Dick hangs up the phone. He already told his friends of his secret identity. Understandably, he can it reveal his real name, since he's Robin.
Kid Flash then passed by and sees Robin after he finished the phone call. And smirked as he overheard the conversation while eating a bag of chips. "Ooh! Am I interrupting your little cat call?!" He teased.
"It's not a cat call. I was just asking Zee out."
"Relax, dude. You know I'm joking!" Kid Flash said while taking another bite of his chips. "Also, remember that invite of this Halloween Bash that was sent to us?" Wally asked.
"Yeah. And it had no return address." Robin replied. "I am getting the feeling this is a trap."
"Dude, we have dealt with stuff like this all the time. If it was a trap. Think of all the fun we do to kick butt!" Kid Flash said. Robin knew that his best friend might be right. Whatever comes next may be a trap. But that's what makes fighting crime more fun.
"Anyway. I gotta get ready. Artemis and I are gonna go as Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade when we go to the Bash next Friday." Wally said.
"Sure. Be my guest." Dick said. Wally speeds off to take a shower. He then entered the showers as the steam flows in the room. Once he was finished, He was rubbing his hair with a towel.
Then when he was grabbing a comb from the counter, Wally failed to notice the faucet he turned off was turned back on. "Hmm? I could've sworn I turned it off." He turned it back off as he continued to comb his hair, and whistling.
He then opened the cabinet behind the mirror to put the comb back. But then he closed it to see a reflection of a girl with brown hair and green eyes. "Help!" Wally stood in shock. As he turned around to see if the girl is behind him, but she wasn't and turned back to the mirror.
"What the-?!"
"You can see me?! Please, you got to help me?!" The girl repeatedly banged the window. But Wally was too frightened to process and screamed. "Ahhh!"
