Westside Island - Emerald Hill Zone
Badniks and the White Fang were attacking the viillage and town of Emerald Hill Zone and it's Inhabitants. Unlike the folks from South Island, They were more prepared after the Doctor's Invasion.
"IKARUGA! BEHIND YOU!" A Blonde Girl said to her friend. She sliced the Egg Pawn in half with grace with her Katana. Both were inhabitants to Westside Island.
"Thanks!" Ikaruga would dodge and Kick a White Fang member towards her friend who she jumped and drop kick the enemy. Buzz Bombers and it's upgraded models, Buzzers, DragFlys, Egg Flappers and More White Fang Members surrounded them.
"Looks like you're outnumbered. It'd be easier if you just surrendered now." One of them taunted. The duo were screwed over. How could they handle this on their own? And then, a Tornado of Blue, Orange, Red, White, Black and Yellow began circling around. Taking care of the enemies that were surrounding them before stopping.
Soundtrack Play: Sonic The Hedgehog 2 - Emerald Hill Zone
"Looks like you girls needed some help. Are you okay?" The Tornado revealed to be Sonic, Tails and Team RWBY
"Yeah, we're okay."
"Wait a minute.. I know that look if i see one, are you the fox who joined Sonic during Dr. Eggman's takeover here?"
"I'd love to answer questions but we gotta move!" They quickly left and run. "Out of all places he could've invaded... Why here in Westside Island?"
"I'm not sure why."
"Maybe because we boiled him?" Everyone groaned at Yang's Pun. A Monkey Badnik, Coconuts, threw what he was named after at everyone. Blake grabbed them with her weapon and flung it back. They saw, in a far distance, villagers defending the town from the ones attacking them as well as Amy, Knuckles and Team JNPR, who were joining in this time around, assisting them. They grabbed a trail of Rings and went into a Loop-de-loop, running into full speeds.
"Ah! You made it here just in time! Who are those two?" Knuckles said as he threw Nora at one Egg Hammer. She smashed it's face in.
"I am Ikaruga and the girl who's with me is Katsuragi."
"You two from this Island?" Ren said before slashing, shooting and kicking a Egg Knight in the back. Ikaruga sliced in half.
"We were born here."
"Ah."
"Hey Tails? How's life for you after leaving Westside?"
"It's been great actually! New friends, Stopping Eggman as usual, It's been busy though, i can say the least!" Tails answered Katsuragi's question. Both Ruby and Sonic spin dash kicked the White Fang, who were about to shoot out bombs at them.
"Nice! So who are these people that helping us around?"
"Team RWBY and Team JNPR."
"I'm Ruby Rose! Leader of the Group! "RWBY" Pronounced as Ruby. The Other two people are Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna, my friends and Yang Xiao Long is my Sister!" She shot the Egg Gunner three times before cutting it.
"Jaune Arc. I'm the leader of Team JNPR, Pronounced as "Juniper." Jaune shielded himself from the attack and retaliated.
"Nora Valkyrie! Hold up a moment..." She swung the Gator Badnik off to a nearby Turtloid. "BAM!"
"Pyrrha Nikos, It's nice to meet you." She and Jaune destroyed the Egg Bombers that were approaching the area.
"And I'm Lie Ren. How many are there of Eggman's Robots?"
"Too many to count. Akira? Vector? Are you there?" Amy called them.
With Team Chaotix and the others
"Yeah Amy, We hear ya. We're kinda busy right now!" Vector grabbed both Motobugs and smashed them against each other. Makoto saw one member of the White Fang and tried to attack it. May, though, was quick enough took the opportunity and kick the Evil faunus out of Vector's way.
"Wow. First time out of Japan and we're here fighting together? Not expecting that but We're definitely crossing that out of our Bucket list." May said. Explosion were heard with the group heading out of there.
"This place is gorgeous to be at. I wonder why this "Eggman" guy wants to destroy?" Max asked.
"Because the doctor is more interested in building a death trap disguised as a Theme Park."
"Hey Sonic! We'll be at the Bridge area. You'll meet us there!"
With Sonic, RWBY and the others
"You go! We'll take it from here!" The Villagers said. Everyone but Team JNPR, Ikaruga, Katsuragi and Amy spindashed into a Loop. Amy's team went running into a Corkscrew and bounced on the spring in front of them before running to a different loop that led to a cave covered in spikes.
"Eep!" Jaune stopped and put his shield in front of the spikes quickly enough to prevent being damaged.
"Can you explain to me what this Island is?"
"You forgot it already? Westside Island is the Home of our friend Tails and the Island that Eggman went to after failing to take over South Island. I don't know why he decided to capture practically everyone from AGES." Amy answered Jaune's question. "Now hold onto me. We're gonna be flying for a bit." Team JNPR, Ikaruga and Katsuragi held on to Amy as she slammed the Hammer at the Spring.
They were sent flying out of the cave. Jaune screamed in fear as everyone were being sent up. Nora, in the other hand, screamed in excitement. Jaune fell on Coconuts. Destroying it while he was in a daze.
"Hey Leader! We gotta go!" Nora grabbed Jaune. Amy jumped and swung her hammer at one White Fang member before Katsuragi had dropkicked the faunus to the ground.
"Thanks!"
"You're welcome! I think I see your friends over there!" Katsuragi said as the group in front of Amy's team were finishing off the remaining few Badniks. Pyrrha noticed one of the Egg Pawns were about to attack Ruby, she quickly threw Akóuó into it's body before shooting it with Milò's rifle mood.
"Tails? Do you know where Eggman is?"
"Last time when he came here, me and Sonic were- I know where he is!" Sonic knew what Tails meant before a evil laugh was heard.
Soundtrack Ended
"Welcome! Welcome all to this take over encore of Westside Island!"
"How may we help you?"
"EGGMAN/ROMAN!"
"Who's Roman?" Rene, May, Alex and Max gave a shrugged as an answer to the two girls. They don't even know who he is.
"Like the letter we left in the AGES Hotel? You must be worried sick about your friends." Everyone looked at him, obviously being bothered by him Four other people and Metal Sonic came out. Team RWBY knew who they were.
"Wait.. I know you!"
"It's been a while. Miss us?" Cinder said. Another figure dropped down as well. It was Haruka.
"Hello."
"Weiss? Who is that?" Jaune blushed at her body as did everyone new to joining them. Pyrrha looked at her body in shame while May sulked.
"Just the assistant who's experiment got us killed."
"SHUT UP! ME AND THE DOCTOR WORKED REAL HARD ON HER!"
"I don't have the heart to tell her that the project was scrapped because Snake girl was heavily flawed." Eggman quietly said to Roman. He kept the Doctor's secret.
"Experiment?! She tried to kill us!"
"I swear, I think we met her before." Katsuragi whispered to Ikaruga.
"Kill you? She was made to be the commander for the Eggman Empire's Bio Division!"
"Hold up... Bio Division? You're telling me that Eggman has this division of turning people into super weapons?"
"Well actually, it belong to my brother! He lent his stuff to me months prior to taking over here and South Island."
"Well that explains to that Lab we destroyed in Labyrinth Zone."
"Of course it was you who destroyed. WHO WOULD'VE GUESSED?!"
"Still? Why did you go for the rest of our friends?"
"Just a race against time before they become part of the Doctor's empire. It's quite enthralling watching you run trying to save everyone before they got robotized." Cinder answered.
"Of course you doubt us."
"Really? With how many "Zones" this Island has, as they call it here, it'd be impossible for you to rescue all."
"Well let's see about that!" Everyone prepared to face the villains when suddenly.
"WOAH! WHEN DID ALMOST EVERYONE GO!?" Alex yelled out. Team Sonic, RWBY, JNPR, Haruka, Cinder, Emerald, Mercury and Metal Sonic were gone.
"Limbo. Metaverse seems like a fine name but i don't want to be associate it with those hacks you call the online virtual "worlds". That and some fake internet money that scams you?! What kind of logic is that?!" Rene started to spindash, about to hit both the Doctor and criminal when Neo stepped in and deflect the attack.
"OOF!"
"BRO!"
"Oh Neo is really good at this!"
"Taught her the best she can." Roman said.
"We'd better go to give you back up! I'll be quickly come back!" The doctor left as both Roman and Neo stayed to take care of everyone else.
"Two of them and all of us? How bad could they be- GAH!" Ryuji yelped in pain. Getting hit in the stomach by her.
"RYUJI!"
Soundtrack Play: Sonic Battle - E-121 Phil
"Okay! That does it!" Vector grabbed Neo before Roman shot him. "Y'OW!"
"We've gotten some upgrades in our last defeat." Roman activated the Fire shield. Bursting towards Espio. He disappeared and reappeared to give him a counterattack. Neo grabbed Espio at the Tail and threw him.
"Hey! You leave my friend alone you meanie!" Charmy dove straight into her with his stinger. Neo took out hush and blocked the attack. Charmy bounced off it.
"Wait? Is that an Umbrella?" She took out her Misericorde from it. "That umbrella has a sword... THAT UMBRELLA HAS A SWORD!"
"First off, it's a Parasol. Secondly, I'll let Neo use you as an example for the others." Roman said as Neo went towards Max. He jumped behind and dropped dash at her. Roman nearly shot him, had Max not gotten out of the way.
"A Cane too?! Where do you people even live that has you making this stuff?!"
"You're friends with a 3FT Tall Hedgehog and are Aliens from another world but suddenly you draw the line from Remnant?" Roman fire dashed at him before switching to a Bubble Shield. He slammed down to the ground and bounced off.
"Since when you could use the elemental shields against us?!"
"The opportunity was there for us for the taking of course!" He answered Futaba's question before switching back to the fire shield and dashing right at her. Yusuke stepped in and smack him away with the Cube Wispon. "UGH! Good thing I have spares."
A rumbling was heard. It was Eggman driving the Egg Drillster, fast approaching to where everyone was.
"Oh great, the giant egg is here." Eggman drilled underground. "Oh no." The ground started shaking. Eggman popped up.
"Tails told me the capsule was over there when he and Sonic first met."
"Good, We gotta run." Vector carried the unconscious Ryuji and everyone ran.
"Oh no you don't!" Eggman yelled as he shot the Drill at them.
"I heard Eggman got easily taken care of with this machine?! Did he improved it?!"
"Version 12. 03. 2013 baby!" Roman and Neo hopped onto the Egg Drillster as Eggman accelerated towards them.
"THEY'RE CATCHING UP TO US!"
"Not when we can strike them back! This may be alot different than how Sonic and Tails went through the first time they met but if they can beat it, then all of us can!" Makoto said. Eggman shot another drill. Ikaruga unsheathed her Katana at the right time and parried the Drill back.
"UGH! OW! WHAT THE HECK!? I JUST GOT THIS RECENTLY PAINTED!" Rene, May, Alex and Max jumped and homing attacked him. Roman and Neo attacked but missed hitting them.
"WHOOPS! TOO SLOW! DOWN BELOW!"
"DRILL!" Makoto and Vector dug down and struck the vehicle. Neo jumped out and ran towards Ann, taking out hush as she tried to stab her. Katsuragi came in and saved her before she could get the chance to attack her.
"Thanks!" Ann said, pulling out a Lightning Wispon and stunned Neo. Roman came in and gave her some Rings to recover.
"Have a Load of this!" Eggman shot out a barrage of Drills at them. They all ran to a nearby cave to avoid the attacks. Though managed to destroy the Entrance to it.
Soundtrack Paused
"I can see why you guys hate this "Eggman" guy. Even taking Akechi away to use him as Super Weapon? That's just outright cruel."
"Roman as well. He has this arrogant tone in his voice that makes me mad. His speech at Sky Base Zone didn't help much either. "Criminal" is an understatement."
"What happened to Everyone else? We saw them disappear."
"You can thank the Phantom Ruby for that."
"Phantom What?"
"Some magical Mcguffen that's the reason why we're here in the first place. That and the "World of Light" Incident as well." Futaba said as she gave a healing Ring to Ryuji.
"We've been living through a literal cave for the rest of our lives. Did we missed out that much?"
"Yep." They all said.
"As for this "Phantom" Pearl or whatever. Are they stuck in the Metaverse because of it?"
"Bingo." Eggman busts through the entrance.
Continue Soundtrack
"SURPRISE!"
"AND WE'RE OUT OF HERE!" They ran of the cave to see another bridge up ahead. Roman, however, used the fire shield he had and dashed towards the bridge. He burned it down.
"Oh that's just great!"
"Thanks Roman! You're even more of a better partner than how Starline was!" Roman switched to an Electric Shield. Double jumping from the bridge he destroyed. Neo stepped in with her weapon in hand. Badniks swarmed in.
"Hey kiddo? You don't think you have one of them rings to get us to the other side of ths bridge?" Max grabbed a Ring from his brother's bag. Throwing it where bridge was at. It opened a portal to the other side. Eggman stepped on the gas on the Egg Drillster where he made it on time before the portsl closed. Neo jumped across it and quickly catched up to them.
Everyone went to the loops and off the ramp. Neo and Ikaruga clashed each other in the air. Vector slammed Neo down before landing. Roman and Eggman soon catched up. The Crime lord threw an electric dust vial at the group. All but two were paralyzed.
"Ugh! We can't move!" Espio and Charmy, however, managed to avoid it. They struck back at the both of them.
"GO ESPIO/CHARMY!" Everyone cheered. Roman tried to hit Charmy but was too fast. The bee stuck his tongue.
"Why you!" He began shooting him. Charmy dodged the shots and stung him with his stinger.
"Y'OOOW!" Espio and Neo used their respective weapons at each other before knocking Hush out of her hand. The Ninja Chameleon gave a palm strike to her stomach, knocking her out. Eggman rushed towards the group as they recovered from the shock. They got away with Katsuragi kicking back Roman.
Eggman turned around and zoomed toward the group. Everyone looked at each other and nodded.
"AGES INVINCIBILITY!"
"Time for an All-Out Attack!"
"Oh no..." Everyone grouped up and attack the Doctor. Rene and May would then land the final blow to the vehicle. The Egg Drillster began to explode. Eggman flew out of the vehicle, pulled out a crane from the Eggmobile and got both the beaten up Roman and Neo as he flew away.
Soundtrack Ended
"YEAH! STAY OUT!" Alex yelled out. Sumire spotted a Capsule not far from where they're standing.
"Hey look! A Capsule!" They went there to free the animals and one of the folks from AGES. Max, however, stepped on a trap. Now being stuck inside a capsule as well.
"WHAT!"
"EGGMAN!"
With Eggman
Eggman laughed manically. "Hooo! Looks i got the last laugh for now!"
"Doctor? Are you there?"
"Yes Orbot. I'm here. Just got out of a nasty battle with the brats. Luckily, i managed to trap them."
With Orbot and Cubot
"Ooh! That's quite nice sir!"
"Hey! Would you two tell these "mutts" as Roman calls them help me out on working on the Death Egg a bit faster!? Maybe you should help out as well." Dr. Wily said as the White Fang, His and Eggman's Robots were constructing the Death Egg.
"Oh we'll be there! See you later Doctor."
Back with Eggman
"South Island didn't go as well as I thought but maybe, just maybe that I can take over Westside Island. Ain't that Roman?" He groaned. "I'll take that groaning as a "Yes". Cinder and the others can catch up to us once they're done with the Rodents and brats in Limbo." Flying off to Chemical Plant Zone.
Team Chaotix, The Phantom Thieves and The Okami Siblings passed Emerald Hill Zone Act 1! Ikaruga and Katsuragi have joined everyone on their adventure as well but where are Team Sonic, Team RWBY and Team JNPR go? Find out in the next Act of Emerald Hill Zone! Spinel Rough Zone..
