Hey everybody I've got another story from you. However, most of this isn't exactly mine. Before you read any further, I want to give credit to Kohei Horikoshi for creating, "My Hero Academia" because this wouldn't exist as well as it does without it. The other person I would like to thank is King Akira. If you don't know who he is that's okay I accidentally stumbled upon his work which is amazing. He makes these awesome voice recordings of so many characters x listener, which is what a lot of these chapters are going to be based off of, however not all of them. King if you're reading this thank you so much for the inspiration, I went through all the videos I could and put them in the best order possible that make a great story. I didn't really like the videos with Tobe because I never really paid attention to him (sorry, like I said earlier I accidentally stumbled upon your work.) I did listen to some of those videos with him however because I don't know that whole story I didn't really want to get into that.
Now I do own one thing. Serenity Shin'nen is the OC character that I made to go with this story. There are chapters (like this one) that are just about her, which is what I came up with. All the other characters in this However obviously belong to Kohei Horikoshi, and in the chapters where I explicitly say, "This chapter is inspired by King Akira, If you would like to listen to this with sound please go to YouTube type in the chapters title, along with King Akira, and enjoy." Please don't expect a recording for every chapter. Like I said some of this is my own creation and doesn't have stuff like that. I hope you all love this story and enjoy reading this. Dear Dairy,
My name is Serenity Shin'nen, and I am cursed. I have been cursed ever since I was born. Was it anything I did? Not exactly. Its more of what my Ancestors did. It started with my Great, Great, Grandfather. He had used our family quirk for nothing but his own selfish needs. He decided that he was better than anyone in the world because he was born with such a powerful quirk, However, that was not the case. It was only powerful because of the year that he was born on. Shin'nen (also known as New Year) is the name of our quirk and our family. Depending on what year you are born on is what powers you'll be blessed with. He was born during the year of the Golden Dragon, and because of that he thought he thought no one could do anything to him. That was until one day he was rude to someone with a quirk that changed everything.
The man, villain, or hero is still unknown to me. However, his quirk is something that caused all of this to happen. He had the ability to change someone's quirk form a blessing to a curse. Pretty much your quirk is a Briar Rose, but it was pricked by a spinning wheel and is now forever asleep. That's okay though right, all it needs is true loves kiss right? if you know what supposed to be true loves kiss for the situation. He used his quirk on my Great, Great Grandfather. Our family quirk became our family curse, and it goes as follows,

I am the 5th generation to receive this curse, and I will be the last. There is no one else in my family left, and after it takes over me it will all be over. I do not want to pass this on to someone else. I do not want to cause so much pain and devastation to another person because of what my Ancestors have done. I don't want to have a child only for them to lose everything like I did because of this curse. I will be the last, mark my words, I won't let this continue. I can't let it continue anymore.
