This will be a simple one chapter thing unless you lot want me to keep it up. I love SAO and wanted Yui to become real. I hope you all enjoy the wholesome read that this story is.

Chapter 1: Unity
"And there." The final touches were in place. The end result stood a solid 4 foot 2 inches tall and was very pale. He leaned back and sat in the chair. "Finally, after 5 years, you can come to this world."
6 months earlier Kazuto Kirigaya approached Rinko Koujiro and Seijirou Kikuoka about a personal wedding gift for Asuna. Their wedding was to take place in the winter close to Christmas time and he knew the perfect gift. Not long after they had returned from the Underworld, did Kazuto renew his proposal to Asuna. Afterwards, she had told him she didn't need a gift from him at their wedding because he was her gift. Still, he had an idea.
That idea, was Yui.
Yui, being their daughter from SAO, was still a computer program at heart. She had no conscience outside a computer, yet she had developed feelings and emotion over time. Kazuto's plan was to bring her to life.
For this plan to work, he needed a few things. One, Alice. Alice Zudberg or Alice Synthesis Thirty was a semi artificial existence inside a computer program known as the Underworld. Underworld was a place created by RATH to store and monitor souls called 'fluctlight'. After the war of Underworld in which Kirito, Asuna, Sinon, Silica, Leafa, as well as Alice, Kirito's apprentice Ronie, and Tiese fought two human invaders to save Alice, Alice was taken to the real world and became the first artificial existence. Second, Kazuto had managed to convince Rinko and Seijirou to allow him to use leftover parts from Alice's construction to develop a body for his daughter. It was difficult without full access to the Ocean Turtle, but he made due.
After six months, Yui's body was complete. A few more days of testing and it would be ready for the wedding.
"Yui. Want to do a trial run?"
"Hai Papa." Yui answered from the little laptop behind him. The plan was to upload Yui into the body's core and allow her to get used to the movement outside the code.
"Alright, go for it." The eyes on the android opened to reveal Yui's black pupils. Even the hair on her head was the same color. Overall, this body mimicked the body she had in SAO. The android's legs began to shake as it stood on wobbly feet.
Yui looked down at her new body and smiled. "Papa look! I'm doing it!"
"You're doing great. Now, try and walk to me." Kazuto stood from his chair an knelt on the ground. "See if it feels natural."
Step after shaking step, Yui wobbled her way over to her adopted father. Eventually, she was able to make it to him. "Woah!" Her balance failed right at the end and she ended up knocking them both down. "Are you okay, Papa?"
"Yea, Yui. I'm fine. More importantly, how did it feel?"
"It feels good. A little rigid, but good."
"Its going to take getting used to I'm sure. Try walking to the door and back." Doing as asked, Yui pushed herself up and walked over to the door of his bedroom. She placed her hands on the door and used it to steady herself to turn around. Then she came back. The more she walked, the more she became used to her new body. "Great job Yui!"
"Papa!" She then tested another thing and jumped, more specifically, on him. Since the material she was made of was very lightweight and soft, it felt like a human body that tackled him. "You did it. You brought me here to your world. We have to tell Mama."
Kazuto ruffled her hair and smiled. "Remember how I told you that Mama and I are getting married in this world soon?"
"Yes, next week if I remember."
"Yea. Next Saturday we're getting married. Asuna told me that she didn't want a wedding present from me, but I wanted to give her the best one ever."
"Me?"
"You."
Yui grinned from ear to ear and hugged her father. "That's a great idea Papa! I can't wait."
Kazuto's plan was for Yui to be the ring bearer for them. They would go through the vows and then Yui would bring them the rings, surprising Asuna. It was a pretty solid plan.
"Hey Yui."
"Hai Papa."
"Wanna go surprise Aunt Leafa?"
"Yea!"
The day of the wedding came. Asuna was really nervous. They had agreed to do their wedding privately where he had proposed to her after the whole Ordinal Scale fiasco. Many of their friends were invited to come along and Rika was Asuna's maid of honor. Of course, Klein would be Kazuto's best man as well. If he'd still been alive, Eugeo would have been...
Asuna's family as well as Kazuto's family had taken places on the right side of the aisle. Their friends took the left. Suguha had at first been unsure of where to sit, but Kazuto as well as her mother said it was okay for her to sit with her friends.
On the left, sat Shino, Keiko (Silica) , Suguha, Andrew (Agil) and his wife, Alice, Rinko, and Seijirou in disguise. However, there were two seats empty on the end of the row. Each one had tags to say who was to be there. One read Yuuki Konno while the other read Eugeo. Both bride and groom felt that their friends were still watching over them and left them a seat on this special day.
While people filed into their seats, Asuna and Rika (Lis) were in the tent behind the ceremony. When choosing her wedding dress, Asuna had picked a dress that closely resembled the one that she wore in Underworld. Although, this one had no armor and covered much more skin. Despite not remembering, she had wanted the dress that she had for more than 200 years with Kazuto.
"So, are you ready to become Asuna Kirigaya?" Rika teased as she straightened the dress out a bit.
"I-I don't know. My mother still doesn't approve of our marriage so I don't know what she'll do."
"Did you tell them about Yui?"
Asuna sighed. "No, but I'm sure Kazuto-kun brought her along with her camera. I fully expect her to be riding on his shoulder through all of this."
Rika giggled. "Yea, I could see that happening." The clock struck 1 and it was about time to go.
Asuna's father was waiting for his daughter to finish up before taking her hand. "Here we go."
Across the grounds, near the front, Kazuto stood off to the side behind another tent. He was talking to Yui. "Alright, Aunt Leafa will come get you when it's time to come up to us. Are you ready?" He took time that morning to go over more diagnostics on her body. So far, Yui could handle anything she tried and had a 24 hour battery life. She could sleep on a specially made charging pad that was as big and comfortable as a blanket.
"I'm ready. I can't wait to see Mama's face!" She jumped up and down as she twirled around. Her light white dress flowed nicely around her legs. Kazuto had asked if she wanted another outfit for today, but she said she wanted to meet her Mama just how she met her the first time.
"Perfect. I've got to go up front. Remember, stay out of sight until Sugu comes over." He spread his arms and hugged his daughter. "Today, we become a true family."
Kazuto left his daughter behind and returned to the front. Klein was of course bugging him. "Yo! Where'd you go man? Have to take a leak?"
"No, I was putting the finishing touches on Asuna's gift." No one but Rinko, Seijirou, and Suguha even knew Yui was here in person.
"Oh? What did you get her?"
"It's a surprise for everyone. I know she'll love it."
The audience was silent as the piano began to play. From the tent in the back, Asuna and her father came out. Kazuto noticed Rika run out to the right and run up front. Luckily, Yui was hidden off to the left.
Asuna was blushing up a storm as she walked down with her father. She saw all her friends waiting up front, as well as the seat for Yuuki. 'Thank you. Yuuki.' She said to herself as she passed the seat. When she looked up to Kazuto, she noticed he wasn't wearing Yui's camera. 'Huh? That's weird. I know she'd want to be here. Maybe she's watching from somewhere else.'
Shouzou Yuuki approached his daughter's soon to be husband. "I need not ask you to protect her. You've done so much for her in the past. Thank you, son."
"I will always be there for her, sir." Kazuto took Asuna's hand and lead her to the front.
The priest smiled and prepared his speech. "Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Kazuto Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki. I have been told that the couple have written their own vows. You may proceed."
Kazuto grinned. He would have to go last to give Sugu her cue. "Ladies first."
Asuna blushed. "Kiri- Kazuto. When I met you in that deathtrap of a game, I was lost and unsure. I didn't care if I died. That was, until I met you. You showed me that there was more to life in that living hell than fighting. You showed me the beauty of a world where fear controlled the masses. And after it was all over, you saved me from eternal confinement. You helped restore my memories. You have become my knight and my love."
The girls on the friend's side all wiped their eyes. Right as Kazuto was about to start, he nodded to Sugu who excused herself and walked around back to Yui. "Asuna. You brought the first light in my life in a long time. After what happened with the Black Cats, I was hesitant to team up with anyone. Then, I found you again. You helped bring me out of my shell. You showed me I could be allowed to love without fear. There were times I doubted you loved me. But after you came for me in the Underworld, I knew it was true. I love you Asuna. We both do."
While Asuna was confused on the last part, the priest continued on. "Now, the rings please."
Everyone turned their heads back. There, at the end of the long white carpet, stood Yui. She had a little black pillow in her hands with two rings nestled atop. Gasps erupted from the crowd as the ones who knew who Yui was stared in wonder.
Asuna also stared wide eyed at her adopted daughter. She knew Yui would be here, just not like this. "Yui-chan?" Tears began to leak out as she unconsciously started to run to her. "Yui-chan!"
"Mama!" Yui gripped the pillow harder and ran to her mother. "Mama!" She jumped up and hugged her while clutching the rings in one hand as not to drop them.
"Yui-chan. H-How?"
"Not yet Mama. We still have to do the rings."
"Right." Asuna put Yui on her hip and carried her to the front. She only set her down once they reached Kazuto. "Kazuto?"
"Hold on." He smiled and held Yui's hand. Yui handed him the ring and he placed it on Asuna's finger. "I promise. I will never leave your side Asuna."
More tears came out of Asuna's eyes as she took the other ring from Yui. "I will always defend you Kazuto-kun."
"I now pronounce you, man and wife." Kazuto placed his hand under Asuna's chin and lifted her face to his. Cheers erupted from the crowd as their lips met.
Sugu had rejoined her friends and was clapping and cheering. She felt pangs of sadness in her heart that she wasn't the one up there with him, but she knew that this was for the best.
Asuna pulled away from her husband and picked up Yui again. "Please explain this all."
Kazuto smiled to her. "I will. Let them settle down." A few seconds later, the crowd did settle down. "Everyone. This is Yui. For those of you who don't know, Yui was our adopted daughter when we were trapped in Sword Art Online. She is a computer code at heart, but we love her all the same. After many months of work, and ground breaking technology thanks to Alice, " Alice blushed. "I was able to bring Yui to our world." He turned to face Asuna. "I know you said you didn't want a wedding gift, but I couldn't resist. I love you Asuna."
The ceremony continued on as normal with all of their friends and family coming up to meet the now android Yui. Asuna's family was at first very skeptical, but Kazuto made sure to tell them that when they moved in together, that Yui wouldn't require much in the way of resources other than power and charging. She didn't eat, and didn't drink so there was less money to spend.
Kazuto's family was elated to meet his daughter. Midori was so excited to meet her 'granddaughter' and hugged her over and over again. The overall friend group wasn't even surprised that Yui was brought to life.
Shino simply said. "It's Kazuto, what did you expect to happen?" Everyone laughed.
Later that night, Kazuto, Asuna, and Yui were in their new home. Kazuto had already purchased the home with the money RAFT had given him for Underworld and GGO and it was move in ready when they got there. The master bedroom was already furnished with a bed, TV, dressers, cabinets and a bedside table. Yui's room was a light shade of pink with her white bed. The charging mat she would use was imbedded into the mattress so she could sleep on it anyway she saw fit. Kazuto and Asuna's bed also had a charging pad built in incase Yui wanted to sleep with them.
The best part was another surprise for Asuna. Kazuto didn't pick just any old house to live in, he asked Kikuoka to buy and hold on to a certain house on the corner. One where Asuna had been before. Together, after they were married, they moved into Yuuki Konno's old home.
When she'd first realized where Kazuto had taken them, Asuna was a bit skeptical, but in the end, she loved it. Yuuki had become her little sister in the time she was alive, and to be with her spirit in this home was something she was not going to pass up.
"Kazuto-kun?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"For bringing our daughter to us." Asuna ran her hand through Yui's hair as she slept. When Yui was a computer program, she had no need to sleep. But now that she was an android, her battery needed to charge and put her in a sleep like state.
"I know you missed her when she couldn't be here with us. Oh, and she can still join us in video games much like Alice can. Just close her eyes and link up."
Asuna's eyes turned to him again. "Kazuto-kun?"
"Yea?"
"Why did you pick this house? Y-You didn't even know her that long but..."
"I know that Yuuki was, er... is important to you so I wanted you to be close to her. I remember that she's buried not far from here. About 5 kilometers or so. That way, you can visit her." He moved his hand to her head and stroked her chestnut hair. "She's here, watching over us now."
Asuna looked up at the ceiling. "Yea. I know she's here. Yuuki and Aiko." Normally she was scared of ghosts, but not these two. Yuuki and Aiko were her family in a way.
"Aiko?"
"Aiko was Yuuki's real older twin sister. She said that I acted just like her. It made me happy, that Yuuki looked at me like that. Like her older sister." She leaned to his touch and started to drift off.
Kazuto smiled. "Well, let's go to sleep. I love you Asuna Kirigaya."
She blushed at her new name. "I love you Kazuto Kirigaya."
Yui groaned a bit as she rolled over between them. They both smiled. "And we both love you, Yui Kirigaya."
This was so much fun to write. Like I said, this can continue if you all want it to. If not, then it'll stay a one shot. Thank you all for checking this out, and as always, I hope ye enjoy.
