I will always catch you.

"Will you be?" I asked, suddenly anxious. "Will you really be here?"

"As long as you want me," he assured me.

"I'll always want you," I warned him. "Forever."

My name is Edward Anthony Cullen. I am the youngest CEO of the Cullen International Investment Group .Inc , and I am the most eligible bachelor in New York. My net worth is 1.2 billion USD. But she made me feel like I was a skirt-chasing degenerate.

"Good Morning Mr. Cullen, my name is Jessica Stanley! I-uh I'm here from Forbes to ask you a few questions!?" The nervous girl quickly stammered out shakily. She was speaking with trepidation as she looked at the chiselled Adonis sitting in front of her. She knew how unprofessional it was, but he was just so much more gorgeous up close.

Edward Cullen looked at the nervous girl smugly, he knew exactly what effect he had on the interviewer. He gave her a practiced smirk and looked at her with his trade mark piercing emerald stare.

"Absolutely, go ahead darling." He said.

Edward knew what this would do to her….whenever anyone read about him or saw his pictures no one anticipated how sexy his voice would be. Almost every women he slept with complemented his voice and the quality of timbre it had. Every time this happened a melancholic and rather poignant feeling arose in his heart. She said his voice was her favourite thing about him, she would beseech him to sing, and he would but only for her. He would hum her to sleep every night protecting her from her own demons. But he would never do that again…

Jessica's eyes widened, as she began to ask her questions.

"So, how are you handling being the youngest CEO of Cullen International Investment Group?"

"I am handling it swimmingly… as compared to my previous successors I believe I bring in that added advantage of youth, energy and the ability to take those bold risks and endeavours." Edward replied with a confident smile.

" As you said in your Wall Street account, you are originally from London. Do you miss it there?" Jessica asked.

"Absolutely. London is and always be close to my heart….but can we please focus on firm related questions only." Edward replied slightly sternly. He sensed that this prying girl was going to continue asking personal questions.

London was a sensitive topic for him, it made him remember the first time he took her there, the way her eyes sparkled in childlike wonder as she looked at the London skyline from the Eye.

He had booked the whole carrion for her, much to her protest…she hated when he spent money on her. But to him she was priceless.

"Edward! It's beautiful! It's more magnificent than I had imagined!"

"Yes it is." He said looking at her intently.

"You know, when you do things like this. It makes me swoon." She whispered, turning towards him.

"Then swoon, I will always be here to catch you." He whispered back.

"Mr. Cullen! Mr. Cullen! Are you still here?" Jessica asked slightly worried.

"Ah yes! I apologise profusely..looks like I zoned out for a bit." Edward responded chuckling slightly to cover up his despondent mood.

"You have about 13 years of experience in the banking sector—in public, in foreign and commercial banking. In terms of the main responsibilities, how different is your current role compared to your previous ones?"

"Well, as you might know primary banking doesn't change across sectors, whether it's public, private or SME. Thus the basic banking remains the same. It is only the approach that changes. One can find that in the multinationals, private-sector banks. You are accountable in your approach to employees and shareholders. Your purpose is to create wealth and distribute wealth. The approach to regulators. That is the only difference, of course, for me."
