Universe: DCMK Universe-Prime

There were two young men that looked liked as if they were agents of the secret service. Both of them were wearing the same formal uniform which consisted of a black business suit. Everything from their jacket, pants, underwear, ties, socks, and leather shoes was black except for their white dress shirt. The title "Men In Black" would be an apt description when describing them. In fact, that was their very name. It was a title of an official division that they work for under an inter-multiverse organization known as the SCP Foundation - an organization dedicated to the total protection of the Multiverse from both mundane and cosmic domains.

Agent Shiage Hamazura. A young man with unruly blond hair and brown eyes. Nationality: Japanese.

Agent Jiang Haoyi. A young man with black hair and blue eyes. Nationality: Chinese.

They passed by a couple of their fellow agents and task force members that were either doing crowd control or clearing the area of any debris. Black automobiles and trucks littered the area which is a city block. It would appear that a mess occurred not too long ago due to the crowds of people that were all gathered from every corner, with some even whipping out their phones so that they can record this on social media while others were simply content to watch in awe of the giant worm-like creature that was sleeping soundly after being injected by a specific amount of tranquilizers so that he can continue sleeping. Yes, the worm was a sentient creature and is male. No one has gotten hurt thankfully enough.

The agents looked bewildered as they turned toward each other.

"Well...on the bright side of this is that nobody got hurt in the end thanks to Night Baron," Agent Jiang Haoyi made an exasperated smile, referencing a famed caped crusader that they knew who isn't currently here. Once again, he managed to save the day from the impossible. And no casualties to boot.

"You know...sometimes I wonder how this thing got approved by the higher-ups in charge here with the privileges of being the underground garbage disposal here in Tokyo," Agent Shiage Hamazura said, his tone clearly exasperated and threatening to pinch his eyes out.

"Hey, it does the job of cleaning the streets at least. The incident just so happens to be out of the norm since this worm never showed any aggressive tendencies until now. In any case, according to the reports and from what Night Baron provided to us, some unmentionable seemed to have rattled the worm though so this was more the worm being terrified by something unnatural if anything," Agent Haoyi said.

"Yeah, the question is...what could be so scary that it made a worm of this size scream in terror and started doing unintentional damage to city blocks?" Agent Hamazura raised an eyebrow at the sleeping-in-sound worm.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

"This is Hamazura," he said, grabbing an advanced looking phone with a silver color, pressing a button, and talking to someone.

"Yeah, sorry to bother you, sir, but it would appear that you were being summoned to The Wall's office," the operator from the phone spoke with a respectful tone.

"What?" Agent Hamazura made a surprised expression which concerned Agent Haoyi who was listening in. "You mean like right now?"

"Yes, sir," the operator said.

"Alright, we'll be on our way," Agent Hamazura hangs up the phone and looks at his partner. "The Wall's calling us right now to her office, partner. Guess we should probably answer the call and let the others take care of this mess for the time being."

Location: Unknown

The location where the two agents ended up going to was in an entirely different dimension. The location itself is heavily classified under certain levels and is not worthy of being discussed by the average layman. The building complex looked like it had over three floors if one were to look at it from the outside perspective. However, through the use of transdimensional engineering, it actually has over twenty floors, each with a specific room and corridor.

The corridors of a white-greyish color. Many fellow agents and scientists and other personnel were simply going about their business. The two young men were among those walking through said corridors and were in a bit of a hurry toward the office of one of their bosses who had made quite the name for herself around this line of work. Known by the codename: "The Wall" and her ethnicity being African American, she's the type of person that you really didn't want to anger if you don't want to get your butt sent off to whatever godforsaken hellhole that you could find yourself in. And that's just her being generous and merciful as rumors would tend to say. Of course, in their line of work, the exaggeration behind the rumors tends to blur a bit.

After a minute of walking, they stopped by the front door. Literally. It was one simple door that had the name "O5-5" and the overwatch logo of the Foundation that was a lot different than the normal logo - one that consisted of one large upward triangle and one small downward triangle that was overlaying the outlined circle with three arrows crossing its contour and pointing to the center. The structure is closed in a thin frame, which repeats its silhouette—a circle with three protruding rectangles (around the arrows' tails). The three arrows stand for "Secure. Contain. Protect" which are also written by name from each side of the circle, and the circle symbolizes unity and eternity.

Aside from the logo, the door was nothing special. It may appear to be the kind of door that one could find at a simple office building where an important employee from a company or a law firm would tend to work for the sake of privacy and formality.

Noteworthy was that there were two soldiers standing on either side of the door. They wore black-grey military combat uniforms incorporated with state-of-the-art biohazard gear with standard military webbing and equipment, composed of boots, protective vests, and gloves. The black helmets on their four red goggled-eyed visors have multiple installed features such as vision enhancement that determines a range of sight modes that allows one to see things that are unseen by the naked eye. The symbol on their shoulders was a right hand holding an arrow that was drawn straight to the northeast and ending on the edge of the perfect circle that encapsulates the arrow and the right hand. And they were carrying staser rifles whose physical appearance resembled the FN SCAR.

These two were part of the MTF Alpha-1 ("Red Right Hand") whose job is to report directly to the O5 Council and is to be deployed in situations that require the strictest operational security, consisting of the best and most loyal operatives. Anything more that can be said about them would be considered classified and only those with high-level clearances such as Agent Hamazura and Agent Haoyi can know the full details of the inner workings of this unit.

Both agents would look at each other, sporting hesitant expressions.

"Well...we're here," Agent Haoyi said. His smile was less bright and more trepid.

"Yeah..." Agent Hamazura nodded.

They begin to head inside as Agent Hamazura opens the door and closes it by the time he and his partner enter.

The office itself was large, like a library. It was more or less like a library as there were various stacks of books that were put in order on the shelves. There were different types of books that you can find. Books about languages, books about military operations, books about the economy, and many others.

From the maze of shelves, they noticed the presence of a woman seated on a black armchair. There was an old fashion wooden desk, brown in color. It has the office plaque that has the name "The Wall" from the center of the desk underneath the edge.

The woman was noteworthy to both of them as they would eventually salute the woman with their right hands raised to their temples.

Councilwoman Amanda Waller―O5-5.

Considered to be one of the strictest council members of the O5, a hard woman harder than stone capable of making the hardest of decisions but is greatly tempered with and balanced with a sense of wisdom and compassion greater than most, knowing the proper time for the necessary application of "methods".

"Agent Hamazura, Agent Haoyi," Waller spoke to them with a professional tone, not indicating any emotion but was thoughtful and focus-driven. Both agents would let go of their salute once being called their names. "Do you recall the last operation that you two had participated in back in ACMI Universe-Prime along with MTF NFR-137?"

The two agents looked at each other, making intrigued and concerned expressions as they recalled that classified operation as clear as day.

Basically, they got a reliable tip from Hamazura's Skill-Out Group (with an old friend of Hamazura's being in command of this group as their leader) who were one of their top informants into the interior workings of Academy City - the city of science that was over twenty or thirty years advanced - and the more shady sides of said city. The tip said something about a deal that would take place in one of the abandoned alleyways of School District 10. Of course, that district is well-known for its poor public order. It's one that most sane students wouldn't really go to unless they really wanted to get beat up out of their own personal lunch money among other things.

It basically dealt with a shady deal that involved a dangerous group called Deadlock and an organization called Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). To not bore one of the details, the deal consisted simply of supplying Deadlock with advanced suits of AIM's design that were called the Queen Diver. From the picture, it was basically a yellow-black bee-colored suit with a full-face helmet, with small inline skate wheels attached in over the bottoms of the feet, knees, elbows, shoulders, wrists, waist, back, chest, and other parts of the body. On top of that, there were two tiny jet engines on its back to reach over one hundred kilometers per hour. They were twenty centimeters wide and fifty-five centimeters long. There was also an explosive-driven pile bunker mounted over the shoulder of the user. There were also added other onboard weapon systems such as those located at the palm gauntlets that allowed one to fire a standard particle beam weapon that can repel physical and energy-based attacks, traveling as a single stream or as a wide-field dispersal; repulsor rays they were called.

Of course, there was the fact that it was capable of replicating the esper ability known as Meltdowner a little too perfectly. From what the two agents last heard, the one who holds the Meltdowner ability, one of the Level 5s of Academy City under the rank of #4, was pissed to put things mildly which basically meant that she and the team that she was a part of would personally get involved in dismantling the operation under the assignment of her handler. Of course, such a coincidental manner proved to be quite a golden opportunity to capture Meltdowner and her team without their knowing it.

And so they and a mobile task force unit called MTF NFR-137 ("Eye of Ra") were sent in to disrupt the following. The deal between Deadlock and AIM, and the capture of the Meltdowner and the rest of her team.

"What about it, ma'am?" Agent Hamazura respectfully asked.

"We're going to pay the captured ITEM members a little visit in their cell by this hour since they've already been awake for the past few hours. Of course, they and their leader have been trying to escape the room to no such luck," Waller would stand up from her seat and carry a file folder from her hand. She would begin to pass by both agents' directions. "If you were to please follow me, gentlemen."

And so, both agents would begin to follow the councilwoman toward another location in the base.

Somewhere in the corridors, one that had multiple MTF Alpha-1 ("Red Right Hand") with weapons on the ready and standing by, there was a tall and slender woman who was waiting from around the corner, holding a few folders in her hands. She has shoulder-length brown hair and wearing a pair of glasses, which often hide her eyes from view and had modified in-built functions that she found to be rather useful. Wearing a black formal shirt with a white tucked-in dress shirt, a black formal skirt, light leg stockings that reach near the waist, and black shoes.

Her name is classified. Known only to the general public as the Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor who was in charge of handling all of the students of Tokiwadai. Known to the Foundation as one of the Secret Supervisor Agents (SSAs) of the MIB Division known as Onna-Musha - a term referring to female warriors in pre-modern Japan who fought in battle alongside samurai men.

Her history and background remain shrouded in mystery for the most part which is a good thing when working for an organization like the SCP Foundation. What is known however is that she had attempted to join the law enforcement organization Anti-Skill in the past along with one other individual. She and the other individual failed the test but as the other individual apologized which made her pass, the housemaster did not and only felt disappointed by her instructors and felt that she was more suited to protecting a single place that she would live in instead of an entire city.

A few days after this incident, she got the full attention of the SCP Foundation which decided to recruit her as one of their agents. In the present time, her official mission consisted of being a general housemaster to all of the students associated with Tokiwadai which is one of the elite schools that one can go to in the city, one that was located in School Garden which is an area in School District 7 where along with Tokiwadai is composed of four other elite schools and the establishments that tend to its population is similarly just as high-classed.

"Supervisor Agent Onna-Musha."

The Supervisor turned around to spot Councilwoman Waller, hearing her call her codename in place of her real name. She also spotted the two young agents, Agent Shiage Hamazura and Agent Jiang Haoyi, who were in charge of supervising.

"Ma'am," the Supervisor saluted the Councilwoman.

"At ease," Waller said which made the Supervisor lower her hand. "Anything new to report regarding our resident inmates."

"Nothing that disrupts the security measures that are in place, ma'am, besides a certain Level 5 that was tantruming non-stop before eventually giving up because her power had been cut off from her," the Supervisor said, putting her hand in the bridges of her glasses.

"Well then, with all that being said, we should go greet the resident inmates," Waller looked at the wall just to her left.

"GODDAMNIT! FUCK THIS BULLSHIT!"

There was a sudden throw of a chair that managed to break into pieces as it impacted a wall nearby just as the clanking sound of the materials was heard to fall from the floor. What made it strange was that the chair suddenly reformed back to its original state as if it has never broken down.

The sound of a tired, exasperate, and angered voice was heard to echo throughout the room. It came from a woman with a tall and slender figure, wearing a violet dress with shorts, along with black thigh-high socks and white boots.

She was Shizuri Mugino, also known as the #4 Level 5 Esper of Academy City whose known by the term of her ability: Meltdowner. In relation to her ability, it is known by the term "Meltdowner" which is an ability that allows her to forcibly control electrons in the "ambiguous" state of an electron where it is both particle and wave, and when they strike other objects the electrons are unable to react either as a particle or a wave because of their state.

As to her current occupation, she is a leader of a dark side faction called ITEM whose primary task and function were to monitor the upper echelons of the city-state known as Academy City, which of course would include the governing Board of Directors and prevent them from gaining too much power and getting out of hand. In other words, they were basically the waste holders who clean up the mess left by those who didn't properly clean themselves up.

Considering her predicament, she was pissed.

Last she recalled, she and her team members were dealing with an operation that went the way of the trash as an outside force that hadn't been reported in their intel had suddenly barged in and turned the area of the deal into a warzone. The next minute, she was knocked out by something on the back. By the time she woke up, she and her teammates found themselves resting in admittedly comfortable beds.

Mugino aside, the other team members of ITEM: Frenda Seivelun, Saiai Kinuhata, and Rikou Takitsubo were hiding behind the tedge of the silver metal bed that they managed to tumble over for cover. Slowly, they raised their heads and looked at each other. With concerned and grimaced expressions, they made sign gestures that allowed them to communicate without speaking a word.

"("Hey, Frenda, you go in there and super talk to Mugino!")" Kinuhata, a young woman with short brown hair in a bobcut and brown eyes, wearing an orange hoodie and hot pants, said with a gesture.

"("Heck no! I don't wanna get my body cut in half!")" Frenda, a young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a dark-colored beret, a black sailor top, and a pleated skirt, was shaking her head vehemently.

"("Well someone has to talk to her!")" Kinuhata silently suggested.

"("And you expect me to be the sacrificial lamb led to the slaughter, no thanks!")" Frenda waved her hands, showing a silent negative answer.

It resulted in Frenda and Kinuhata in a tug of war as one or the other was trying to push the other toward their understandably angered leader.

Takitsubo, a young woman with black hair was cut evenly at shoulder length and brown eyes, being the only sane woman in the room, would slowly get out of the cover and walk towards Mugino calmly, silencing and surprising both Frenda and Kinuhata.

"Um...Mugino," Takitsubo spoke softly.

"...What?" Mugino asked, noticing Takitsubo from the left corner of her eye, having calmed down somewhat but still a bit angry.

"Um...while you were busy, we had tried to search for any way out of here. But..." Takisubo's voice stopped for a moment, showing a little disturbed expression, putting her right hand to her left arm, looked to the left, and sees the wall without any window.

Actually, everyone had slowly begun to notice something off about the room. Takitsubo, Frenda, and Kinuhata were checking for anything that could lead to their potential escape. Any vent? Any door? Any bar? Any window? Anything at all? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. All that they saw were empty marble walls that enclosed this large room that was their own personal prison cell. A strange aspect of this cell was that it seemed more like a large reserved hotel room. It had a fridge nearby that has a tremendously large, as impossible as it may sound, food supply that might as well be a market of its own. They checked the restroom and found nothing except private tubs and toilets.

The prison felt strange. No windows? Then how were they even able to breathe in this place?

And then there was the part where they no longer had anything.

No powers. No weapons. Nothing.

This prison cell was a windowless room and they were trapped like lab rats. How ironic...

Mugino calmed down a bit and simply sit down on the large mattress nearby while thinking about what she and her team could do in this situation. There were no open doors, windows, or any sort. That meant that they couldn't even tell where they are. Even more, any possible chance of escape is rendered caput when she couldn't even use her ability. For the first time in a long time, she felt absolutely powerless. Whatever it is that captured them knew what they were doing at least and managed to cut off their powers, abilities, and equipment, stripping them of everything that could allow for any possible route of escape.

The rest of the ITEM members all gathered around their leader, sitting on the mattresses nearby, and they all looked at each other, wondering what they needed to do. For the first time ever, they have no idea but to simply sit still and wait.

And so...they waited...

How long did they wait...?

Who knows...?

It at least gave the ITEM members enough time for some small talk at least.

"...So...I was wondering...considering that we've been trapped here for super knows how long, thought we should at least...you know...talk..." Kinuhata suggested with a hesitant smile.

"(Sigh). And what exactly are we gonna talk about at this point?" Frenda asked. "The room that barely has any doors or windows or events? This place is just gonna drive us nuts by the time we even meet the ones who imprisoned us here."

"Still...this is quite the room that they locked us in," Mugino, having calmed down already, made a subtle interested tone as she looked to the ceiling. "Whatever this place is, it rendered my ability completely useless. No matter how many calculations I can think in my head, I wouldn't really be capable of materializing my Meltdowner so that makes it rather pointless to even attempt to try."

"...Do you think that we'll ever get out of here?" Takitsubo asked. Considering their predicament, even she was not spared. She hasn't sensed anything throughout the vicinity. No sign of any life or esper signatures. Total voidness of everything. A blank for the very first time. It terrified her somewhat. If it wasn't for the fact that she was with her fellow ITEM members, she may as well feel very alone. She doesn't think that she can live that kind of life. To be alone forever.

The question that Takitsubo asked rendered everyone silent. That was a good question, they all thought. But looking at their chances, they doubt it. The best thing they can do is wait for their captors to ever show up. If they ever do show up that is...

And so they waited again...for how many hours later...

Then...

They heard a strange sound coming from the white marble wall just near them from a few meters away to the north. To their surprise, it was coming apart bit by bit like a couple of construction set building blocks. It eventually reveals a greyish metal blast door from the center that was now slowly opening up. An alarm system echoed, mimicking the sound effects of a modern ambulance siren, blaring non-stop before the door came apart completely, revealing a couple of individuals.

They first noted the elite soldiers, with the insignia of a right hand holding an arrow that was drawn straight to the northeast and ending on the edge of the perfect circle that encapsulates the arrow and the right hand found on the shoulders. They wore black-grey military combat uniforms incorporated with state-of-the-art biohazard gear with standard military webbing and equipment, composed of boots, protective vests, and gloves. The black helmets on their four red goggled-eyed visors. They also appeared to be carrying FN SCAR assault rifles...or at least that's what they seemed to look like.

Aside from the soldiers, they noted the young woman with shoulder-length brown hair and wearing a pair of glasses carrying a set of file folders. They didn't recognize her. But they recognize the two young men that were standing side by side. They were the young men that they saw in that busted-up operation involving AIM and Deadlock. When they saw them taking out those Queen Divers with nothing but pure skill and advanced pistols, they were many feelings that came to mind. Impressed, surprised, exasperated, not knowing what the heck is going on.

However...

What made all of them pay close attention was the presence of a woman that was in between the two young men who were standing guard.

She was an African American with grey afro hair and her entire face appeared to be wrinkled, denoting her status of seniority that comes with age. And yet she still looked rather young as well, estimated to be about her mid-40s to her mid-60s, wearing a set of clothing consisting of a black coat, white dress shirt, black pants, and silver shoes. She was carrying a light brown folder that has the symbol of a logo consisting of an outlined circle with three arrows crossing its contour and pointing to the center. The structure is closed in a thin frame, which repeats its silhouette—a circle with three protruding rectangles (around the arrows' tails).

Her dark brown eyes were noteworthy as all of ITEM felt like they were being probed from top to bottom. They were sharp as a hawk, cold and calculative, one that was of ice that could not melt easily and rock that was just as sturdy as steel. It made ITEM sweatdrop a bit and were on edge.

"...Who...Who the fuck are you?" Mugino asked, trying to stand up from the bed with signs of a sweatdrop of trepidation.

The old black woman smirked with a scary confidence. Then, the confidence accompanied her as she walked without fear towards the Level 5 who asked a simple question regarding her identity while the two agents looked at her with a slightly exasperated expression of: "("Oh god...did she have to ask...?")"

"I'm Amanda Waller," she said as she stared deep into the eyes of the Level 5. "And starting from this moment forward I'm your new employer. So sit down and listen."

And Mugino couldn't help but comply as she sits down from the bed. The rest of ITEM were simply sitting down from the edges of the bed properly, following their leader's lead.

"("Scary.")" Takitsubo, Frenda, and Kinuhata thought.

And Waller maintained her confident smirk and nodded, satisfied that the subtle message of intimidation got through.

Universe: ACMI Universe-Prime

A few days ago...

There was something happening in one of the alleyways of School District 10. The pale moonlight was seen brightening and clearing the skies. Abandoned buildings were seen overlaying the alleyway. Dozens of littered trash and broken-down windows were seen throughout the alleyway as well.

There were the sounds of footsteps that were echoing in the alleyways caused by the pair of boots belonging to a group of individuals carrying heavily advanced rifles colored in painted yellow. In fact, the entire appearance of these men was yellow-black, reminiscent of beekeepers. They were scientist-soldiers belonging to an organization called Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.) - an organization that had been around for a very long time since the founding of Academy City, even greatly involved in the city's development. Rumor has it that this made them a favorite of the Board Chairman and let them do as they will so long as they do not do anything that is contrary to his will. And so they did.

There were hundreds of these men all lined up from every wall and road. There were also a handful of delivery trucks that were coming in from around the corner. Multiple Queen Diver suits that were colored in yellow-black paint job were standing by, being used by the beekeepers as well for patrolling the area. Some of them were coming out of the delivery trucks that were coming from one side of the alleyway, all in a tight and orderly fashion.

Multiple Queen Diver suits that were colored in yellow-black paint job were standing by, being used by the beekeepers as well for patrolling the area. Some of them were coming out of the delivery trucks that were coming from one side of the alleyway, all in a tight and orderly fashion.

And then...

There were a couple of delinquents and high-class ladies that were walking toward the center of the alleyway. They were Deadlock, an organization composed of anyone, not just Level 0s, whose purpose is to target Level 5s, blaming them for the problems of esper development due to the hypothesis that the Level 5s were unknowingly creating based on their AIM Diffusion Fields that they were emitting.

Among them was a man with brown hair and a handsome face, with his clothing consisting of a black jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes with red on the side. He must be the leader of the group judging from his calm and quiet demeanor. And the leader was walking face to face with an AIM beekeeper who seem to be the one in charge of the rest, being their commander.

Both men silently nodded to each other as they and some of their subordinates would walk toward the open space where the Queen Divers were being carried by the backs of the delivery trucks. They were all prepared just as requested. And it was at that moment when the leader of Deadlock gave a simple gesture, turning his neck sideways to the right and tilting it back to the left, indicating to some of the members to show what was inside the silver metal briefcase that was in their hand, to which one of the members complied as he begins to carefully open it, showing what appeared to be about ¥100,000 yen, and this was but one set as there are many briefcases in total, with an estimated possibility of ¥11,915,700,000.00 in total.

The beekeeper commander smirked from the inside, satisfied by what he sees. He nods in satisfaction, raising his right hand towards the leader of Deadlock who also raised his hand in order to do a proper handshake in order to seal the deal.

"A pleasure doing business with you," the beekeeper commander said.

"Likewise," the Deadlock group leader responded.

And so, the deal was sealed. The moment had finally come for Deadlock to strike back and do what is needed for the sake of all espers. They must be rid of the Level 5s if they were to advance to their desired level. Total equality was their goal and so they would get it.

However...

The ground shakes. Multiple explosions were heard and erupted from many of the delivery trucks. The Queen Divers among the delivery trucks that exploded were unfortunately caught in the crossfire. Greyish smoke was now rising from above. Some of the AIM beekeepers were killed by the explosions while others were burning to their death, some very slowly. The sound of painful screams was heard.

And everyone who was in the area was panicking.

"Scatter!" the leader of Deadlock ordered with a loud clear voice. The subordinates obeyed as they and the leader all scattered in different directions.

All of the beekeepers throughout the area were raising their rifles in whatever direction, trying to find any enemy target that could be potentially coming out of their line of sight.

And then...

"AWH!"

They were all getting picked off. One by one. The sound of each shot echoed and scratch through the beekeeper uniforms, gaining scorched marks. There were two young men that were coming out of hiding, decloaking themselves instantly. And they made a surprise takedown, with one of them, Agent Shiage Hamazura, roundhouse kicking one of the beekeepers and sending him toward the ground, and the other, Agent Jiang Haoyi, made a right side kick that knocked the beekeeper out.

And the two agents were raising their advanced handguns, drawing them out from underneath their suits with both of their hands and opening fire, showing blue-colored beams of pure light that targeted through the head, killing them instantly.

And they simply walked casually across the burning alleyway and opened fire as if they were simply having fun in a shooting game. Multiple targets are picked off straight by headshot. And as some of the targets tried to get close, they were easily taken down by multiple jabs, holds, punches, and kicks from the head, torso, and other vulnerable parts.

"Ah, hell, it's the Foundation!" one of the beekeepers said from the comm channel, recognizing the men in black suits. "All Queen Diver pilots, move in and take them out!"

Agent Hamazura picked off one target by blasting three in the head. One tried to make use of his rifle to jab him but countered it with the backside of his own handgun and used his other handgun to kill the target and used the target's body as a human shield that would be blasted by the other beekeepers, turning it to a pale scorched corpse, and the other beekeepers were picked off as well.

Agent Haoyi was performing multiple kicking maneuvers that send many of the targets flying back in many directions, either on themselves or on solid ground. He would shoot multiple targets at the same time as he was doing so, with Agent Hamazura providing cover fire from the rear.

The beekeepers were getting picked off one by one. Many of the Queen Divers under AIM control were now dispatched to deal with them, with some of them hovering from the ground and aiming their arms at the two agents. But many of them were suddenly intercepted by a surprise attack. A hail of beam fire with a tint of blue, exploding the Queen Divers or sending them out of control.

Coming out of hiding would be a group of soldiers all armed and ready for the task at hand. They wear black-grey military combat uniforms incorporated with biohazard gear with standard military webbing and equipment, composed of boots, protective vests, and gloves. There was the symbol of the Eye of Ra closed in a circle that was found on the side of their shoulders. The black helmets have a pair of visors that allowed for multiple in-built functions necessary for the field. And they all appeared to carry automatic rifles resembling either the FN SCAR or the M4 carbine.

From the alleyways up to the rooftops up to the corners, they were all engaging in a firefight against the beekeepers. The beekeepers were getting picked off one by one as they fell to the ground.

Some of the Queen Divers were heading straight for Agent Hamazura's and Agent Haoyi's paths and attempted to blast them.

But the agents simply switched the functions of their stasers and fired missile barrages in the hundreds, sending a wave of explosions that turned the Queen Divers into mere scrap heaps.

Some of the Queen Divers were relentless, attaching themselves to the side of the buildings nearby and firing their turrets on top of the two agents that would force them to roll over and dodge before firing back, taking out some of the Queen Divers.

Somewhere not too far away, from four separate positions, there was Shizuri Mugino, Frenda Seivelun, Rikou Takitsubo, Saiai Kinuhata were watching all of this unfold. And they were all taken aback by this turn of events as they see two agents singlehandedly handling the Queen Divers and the AIM beekeepers with no break or sweat. And there were also the soldiers that had just come out of nowhere and turned this place into a fierce warzone. Blue and yellow beams were being parried and were brigthening the darkened area like a bunch of fireworks that were suddenly setting off.

"The hell? No one had ever super said this in the debriefing?!" Kinuhata exclaimed from the comm channel, showing an expression of shock and awe.

"What the hell is going on here?! One minute, the deal was being set up. The next moment, this place just turned into a bloody war zone?!" Frenda exclaimed from the comm channel, showing an expression of shock and awe.

As they were chatting from the comm channel, there were a few military hovercraft with yellow-black paint jobs that were the size of a UH-60 Black Hawk suddenly turning up from the northeast, being called in for reinforcements after being informed of what is happening on the ground. However, they were also getting shot down as a barrage of missiles came from the rooftops that were hurled in their way. Some of the hovercraft performed evasive maneuvers, either to the left or to the right.

"Mugino! With all due respect, I think that we should call this operation off! The area is too hot! I've got gunfire bearing down near my side and I don't want to be caught in the crossfire!" Frenda exclaimed as she heard the sound of gunfire coming from her general direction that made her sweatdrop and itching to get her dolls.

"...Alright, I'll-" but before Mugino could say anything, she was shot suddenly in the back. A blue ring-like effect was being sent through her nervous system, making her appearance a flash of pure blue before her body returned to normal and fell to the floor.

"Mugino?! Mugino are you there?! Mug-Ah!" Frenda's voice immediately cut off, as someone on her end knocked her out similarly.

"Frenda?! Frenda, are you there?! Fre-Ah!" Kinuhata's voice immediately cut off, as someone on her end knocked her out similarly.

And Takitsubo would follow suit as well without saying a word.

"...I see. Thank you for the report, trooper. Carry on with dealing with the Foundation and try to retrieve as many of the assets as possible. If they proved to be unretrievable, a sounded retreat would be a more apt option."

There was someone sitting on an office chair, a tall man between the age of twenty and thirty with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a fancy suit with a yellow tie. He was currently talking to an AIM beekeeper who was reporting to him about everything that was currently taking place in the alleyway designated for the official deal regarding the latest model of the Queen Diver suits. The buyers themselves were Deadlock, a group of people that this man considered to be expendable assets for the sake of the company. After all, the weak trample the strong. That was the law when it came to Academy City, using the advantages and grabbing the opportunities presented before them.

The man's name was Ryuusuke Matsuo - the company president of L.S.S. - a company known for its social services and activities throughout Academy City and formed a major part of its public image.

He pressed a button from the telephone on the table, cutting off the communications line. He glances towards one other person that was looking out from the window. The person was a tall man wearing trademark sport sunglasses and a pure black long trenchcoat with a black skin-tight leather turtleneck with zippers below his chest along with a matching black shoulder holster where he keeps his guns and the sleeves just reach through his mid forearm, black skin-tight leather pants with a matching black belt with pockets in each side along with a silver buckle in the center and black high boots. He also has a pair of black gloves worn around both of his hands which were placed behind his back.

"It would seem that your prediction and calculations were accurate to a tea. The Foundation is now on the move and disrupting the operation...just as it has been planned," Matsuo said.

"And the eyes of those unsuspecting fools would keep them distracted if only just a bit, allowing more time to be bought for good measure as we continue with the experiments that we can use for contributing to the funding of our central operation," the man said with a confident smirk as his eyes flashed with a hint of bright red underneath his shades. "And speaking of central, how is the status and progress of our sleeping Child?"

Matsuo in response already press a button underneath his desk showing a holographic screen showing what appeared to be a server room larger than a school gymnasium. Computers larger than industrial refrigerators lined the room like bookcases in a library. Many of the AIM beekeepers were found to be operating the control panels, all of which were primed to stabilize something from the center platform which was a coffin containing someone special, frozen and in deep slumber.

"She's currently still being taken care of by the beekeepers. If I may ask once again, if we already have the capability to wake up the Beginning Child without Mental Out, then why are we still waiting?"

"Four factors: Firstly: The Board Chairman. That man is quite good, and I mean really adept at playing the long game, and had already made plans in the event that something would put his plans off schedule. It would be most wise to not underestimate someone who surpasses me in the art of manipulation. AIM had made dealings with him and I do not wish to tarnish the trustworthy image and reputation of one of my company clients. Secondly: The Foundation. Just because we have our enemy distracted doesn't mean it would last that long as those few intervals only provide us little windows of opportunities to exploit for our purposes. We cannot simply make any specific movements that would draw out public attention. The more ripples in the charted timeline that we do, the more likely would the Foundation detect us. Thirdly: The Beginning Child herself. If she wakes up, who's to say that she wouldn't turn into a mad dog and turn against us? I would not need to remind you of how powerful of an ability she possesses. If weaponized, it could make the entire environment into one's personal enemy. If there is one enemy that mankind had long since feared since time immemorial, it's mother nature...and she can be either the greatest comforter or the deadliest plague. Fourthly: The Imagine Breaker...or as I know him, Captain Nippon. He would notice our plans and he would try to put a stop to it."

"Let him come then if he can try," Matsuo said with a confident smile. "We have the highest level of security that is ready for even the most unlikely of breaches. Even if by some miracle he manages to pass through all of them, he still has to get through our numerous specimens running wild out there in the field."

"I would not underestimate the boy if I were you, Mr. President," the man's eyes flashed red from his shades, sporting a grim expression. "Underestimating the boy always tends to lead to failure for those whose plans had the potential to change the worlds that they lived in and yet did not see the light of day at his hand. And if you think that you have what it takes to hold the young man back while others have not, then I am sorry to disappoint your preconceived notions of superiority."

"Is he really that much of a threat? This boy that you once claimed even has the direct eyes of the Chairman watching out for him?" Matsuo asked in a dubious tone.

"He is far more important than you know...He has survived worse things that would drive most people to interior madness. If he is to be inevitably involved just as I have calculated, then, of course, I have a few surprises in store than just mere animals."

Matsuo twitched a bit in worry in relation to what the man had just said. "Surely...it wouldn't come to that?"

"Perhaps...and that's if the boy does get involved. Until then, we must focus our attention on the Child," the man simply said ominously.

Somewhere deep underground...

There was a place that was housing a specific specimen. A tall humanoid with no hair to speak of, wearing a large black trenchcoat sleeping deeply from the casing that contains it.

The Nemesis is biding its time as it dreams. It is anticipating its prey. And when the prey potentially takes the bait, then that would be the moment when it will strike as it is programmed to. It was already thinking of numerous onboard weapons that it could use. And it was taking the time to choose as it waits for its prey.

From within its twisted mind, it has only one name being uttered as part of its programming.

"("KA-MI-JOU...")"
