AFTERMATH 7: ATTACK OF THE BEBES
Bebe Returns
"Dinner, far me? Wha's the occasion, lassie?" Killigan asked DNAmy, having joined her for dinner at her place.
"Well, honeybun, I never got to thank you for standing up for me at the Senior's party a few weeks back," Amy replied. "You know, during the whole little plot to capture Kim and Ron?"
"Et was no trouble, lassie," Duff replied, brushing it off.
"But Monty and Drakky are your bestest friends and you almost got into a fight with them for me!" Amy said.
"Amy, tha' fight would have been peanuts compared t' some of the battles we've had befar," Killigan replied, brushing it off.
"Maybe so, but I'm still very grateful," she said.
"Unlike Monkey Boy, Ah was taught t' treat a lassie properly. He got obnoxious an' Ah put him en his place," Killigan said, though honestly, his ego was definitely singing about now.
"I'm glad you did. His words were really starting to hurt," Amy said. "Oh Duff, what do I have to do to win him over again?"
"If Ah can speak frankly, lassie, give et up. Ah'm no' above sayin' he do nay love ye' an' never will," Duff said.
"But why won't Monty Monkey Pudd'n and Pie love me?" Amy asked.
"Probably because o' nicknames like tha'," Killigan replied, looking unimpressed. She started and frowned at him, mildly put out. "Besides, he's en love wi' power already. Ye know tha'!" Killigan said. "There's no' any room for a lassie en his life right now, an' if any woman ever won him over, et would be a miracle."
"Why can't I be that miracle?" Amy asked dejectedly.
"Some things were jus' no' meant to be," Killigan replied, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Oh poo. It's not fair," Amy pouted.
KP
All at once, a flash darted by the window, startling the duo. "Wha' was tha'?" Killigan asked, quickly rising. Amy followed him.
The two exited the house. "I don't see anything," Amy whispered. Suddenly another flash zoomed by and they gasped. "What on Earth?" Amy asked, cautiously going out onto the sidewalk and looking around.
"Amy!" Duff suddenly called. Amy screamed as three robot women suddenly came to a stop in front of her! She backed away in horror and into Duff. Killigan pushed her behind him and drew his golf clubs. "Ach, an' jus' who might ye be?" he demanded of them, scowling.
"We are Bebe," the robots said in unison.
"Who now?" Killigan asked. He started suddenly. "Wait... Drew's rebel creations. He mentioned ye befar." In fact, it was just about the saddest and most pathetic story he and Monkey Fist had ever heard, honestly, but there'd been no point in calling him on it because it was clear to see that Drakken had realized how pathetic it was too. They'd just given him disappointed glares then shrugged it off. He shook off the memory and focused on them. "An' jus' wha' d' ye wan' from us?" he demanded.
"You are not our concern," one of them answered.
"We seek another," a second said.
"Where is Kim Possible?" the third asked.
Duff and Amy exchanged confused looks before turning back to them. "Kim Possible? We have no idea. We haven't fought her in weeks now," Amy replied. Even if they had known where Kim was, telling these robots probably wouldn't be in their best interests. Especially not if these things were having a hard enough time tracking her down that they decided their best bet was to probe her foes for her location.
"Aye, last we knew, she was en Japan," Killigan lied. Immediately the Bebes darted off.
"This doesn't seem like a good thing," Amy worriedly said.
"Aye. Best we warn Drakken sooner than later. His inventions runnin' wild es never good. Come on, lassie. We've go' a lair t' visit," Killigan said, taking her wrist and pulling her along with him. She followed nervously.

Amelia's eyes flickered tiredly open and she breathed deeply in. She blinked a few times when she found herself staring at a ninja sitting at her bedside. "Hirotaka?" she asked, throat still sore and voice still hoarse, though it was starting to come back.
The ninja sighed and removed his hood. Her guess was correct. "How are you?" he questioned.
She winced, closing her eyes tightly at the memory, then let out a shaking breath and sat slowly up. She looked at her casted arm and felt her stomach churn a bit. With a shaking breath, she rested it on her lap and balled her hands together, head bowed. "Sore. Humiliated. Wondering how it's possible for anyone to make so many mistakes in one lifetime," she answered.
He tilted his head at her. He had not perceived many mistakes on her part, but then he did not know what her life had been like either. "Mistakes are a part of life. Learn from them, do not begrudge them," Hirotaka replied. "Stoppable-san is downstairs making breakfast for you. Yori is watching Hana."
"She's been really great," Amelia quietly said. "You all have." There was silence for a moment. "Thank you," she murmured at last.
"I only regret that I could not arrive in time to spare you his evils," Hirotaka said, bowing his head and looking guilty.
"No. Don't be like that. It wasn't your fault," she said, reaching out and covering his hand.
He looked down at her hand over his with mild curiosity. Soon he turned his palm, taking hold of it. "I know," he replied. "It still feels as though I could have done more."
"You can't change what happened to me. You can only learn to accept it and move on," she said. His jaw ticked a bit, so clearly he didn't like that idea, but sighed in defeat. He knew she was right.
"I must go," he said. "Classes start soon."
"Yeah, sure," she said, blushing. "Goodbye."
He smirked, then bowed to her before standing up to go to his room. "Take care of yourself. I will be back as soon as possible. Goodbye, Amelia," he said. Quietly he left and she watched after him suddenly feeling much more anxious and nervous than before. Uneasily she looked around. Suddenly she felt extremely vulnerable and exposed. It would pass, she knew, but it was going to take some time. Sighing, she stood up to get ready for the day. She was still in not great shape, and an arm was busted pretty bad so she wasn't planning on attending her classes in person for a while, but she could still attend them over a conference call.

"What a test," Ron said to Kim as they walked down the street.
"Tell me about it," Kim replied. "So not the big."
"Are you kidding? It was insane! I had to guess my way through it," Ron said, startled and shocked at her declaration.
"Oh, uh, I mean, ooh... Ron, why didn't you tell me you were struggling?" Kim asked worriedly.
"I thought I had it!" Ron replied. "Hey, where's Monique?"
"I don't know. She said she was running late and caught a ride," Kim replied.
KP
Monique screamed in terror, clinging tightly onto Fukushima as he tore down the streets of Middleton on a motorbike. "I thought you said you were a safe driver!" she yelled.
"I am," he answered.
"You've lost your mind!" Monique yelled. "I took you up on this offer because I was late! I'd rather be late than dead!" She screamed as Fukushima gunned it and hit a jump. She shrieked again as the bike wavered. For a terrifying moment, she thought it would crash! Fukushima quickly got control, though, and continued on.
Monique clung to him, mortified. "You cannot tell me you are not having at least a little fun," he said, smirking.
Monique blinked and flushed a little. "Uh, m-maybe a bit?" she lamely admitted. He chuckled knowingly, and for some reason, the sound soothed her. She began to relax a little and smiled ever so slightly. "Okay then ninja boy, show me what this thing can really do," she said, leaning against him and holding tighter.
"You asked," he replied. He gunned it and she screamed, initially in fear, but soon it turned to screams of delight and thrilled laughter.

Kim and Ron looked up in surprise upon hearing a motorcycle roaring into the parking lot. "Hirotaka and Monique?" Ron asked on seeing the passengers
Kim gasped. "No way. That's Fukushima with Monique!" she exclaimed.
"Fukushima? I thought she hated him," Ron said.
"She does," Kim said, confused. "But she was running late. Maybe she had no choice."
"Fukushima, you the bomb!" Monique exclaimed excitedly, leaping from the motorcycle and taking off the helmet.
"Arigato, Monique," he replied, bowing to her as he removed his own helmet.
"Monique! You and him? Why?" Kim asked, pointing across at each as she and Ron approached them.
"Girl, I had no choice, but oh man that was a blast!" Monique enthusiastically replied. She turned to Fukushima once more. "You've gotta teach me some of those sick moves," she said.
"What means this sick?" Fukushima asked, frowning curiously. "I thought it meant ill?"
"Oh, right, uh, sick is a slang term. It means cool, awesome, really, really amazing," Monique translated.
"I see," Fukushima said, unsure what to think of it.
"Hey, where are Yori and Hirotaka?" Ron asked.
"They will be here soon," Fukushima replied. Sure enough, soon the brother-sister duo pulled up to them on Hirotaka's bike. To their surprise, it was Yori driving.
The two climbed off, Hirotaka looking slightly pale when he removed his helmet. "Y-you are improving, Yori, but there is still quite a bit you need to learn. Like how not to dart in front of cars crossing at an intersection. And how not to drive in the opposite lane in order to pass a semi when there is another semi coming the other way." Yori grinned innocently, guiltily shrugging. The others stared blankly at them.
KP
Drakken, Shego, and Monkey Fist via conference call listened in shock to DNAmy and Duff as they told them about the Bebe bots. "Great. Just what we needed. Dr. D's berserk robots rampaging around," Shego sarcastically said, giving the good doctor a scathing look, arms crossed.
"It wasn't my fault they turned!" Drakken protested.
"Uh, yeah, quoting now. 'If we're perfect, why do we follow one who's, y'know, not?" Shego said. It wasn't a perfect quote, no, but Drakken had told her they'd said something along those lines before going rogue. She'd just paraphrased a bit.
"I talked too much, okay?!" Drakken demanded.
"Well no thanks to that, we now have a trio of killer robots potentially hunting us down. At least if their tracking of Killigan and Amy is any indication," Monkey Fist said.
"It doesn't make sense why they can't find Kim. She isn't trying to hide or anything," Amy said. "They're robots. A simple database search would tell them exactly where she's going to college. Unless they still think she's in high school?"
"No. I designed them more intelligently than that," Drakken mused, frowning and considering the strange behaviour. "Maybe..." He trailed off.
"Spit et out laddie," Killigan said.
Drakken hesitated a moment. "Maybe it wasn't Kim they were looking for at all," he said.
"Meaning...?" Shego pressed.
"Maybe they have a bigger plan in the works," Drakken said.
"If they do, their tracking down her foes is far from a good indication," Monkey Fist grimly said. He looked to Killigan and Amy. "They asked you where she was?"
"Aye," Killigan said in some confusion.
"And we told them we had no idea where she was. We told them that last we'd seen her, she was in Japan," Amy said, eyes widening a bit as she caught on. "We confirmed we knew her." Killigan started, looking at her in surprise. He'd never even thought of that!
"Oh wonderful," Monkey Fist said. He looked to Drakken once more. "We need to put a stop to this nonsense before they enact whatever little plot they have in mind. Especially if it involves us."
"Monkey Boy is right," Killigan agreed.
"We should warn Kim first, don't you think?" Amy asked.
"Ames has a point. Let Kimmie do her little saving the world shtick while we lie low," Shego backed.
"Nrrgh, fine. I'll send her a message via her little friend Wade Lode," Drakken said, getting on his computer and typing quickly. He put the message through numerous different channels, ensuring it wouldn't be too easy to trace, then sent it off. "There, happy? Now can we focus on this matter of the Bebes and avoiding them."
"Aye. Ah'll go back t' me island. They canno' get me there. At least no' easily," Killigan said.
"I for my part should be just fine holing up in my castle," Monkey Fist said.
"Good. Shego and I will remain in this lair. It's top secret and well-defended. What about you, Amy?" Drakken asked.
"The lassie can stay wi' me. She'll be safer there," Killigan said.
"Ooh, goodie! A slumber party in Scotland!" Amy excitedly exclaimed.
"Do no' call it tha'," Duff warned. Amy giggled, crushing him in a hug and making him grunt in pain then sigh in defeat, rolling his eyes hopelessly.

"So, do all Yamanouchi ninjas know how to drive motorcycles, or just a few?" Monique asked Fukushima as the two of them waited for Ron, Rufus, Kim, Yori, and Hirotaka to join them at lunch. They had attended the same class so had gotten out a little earlier than the others.
"They are not a requirement in Yamanouchi. If you drive a motorcycle, it is because you want to," Fukushima replied.
"And it so happens you three wanted to?" Monique asked incredulously.
"Hirotaka did. I wished to learn when I neared the appropriate age. Yori has shown no interest until recently," Fukushima replied. "It was of course Hirotaka who taught us how to drive them. It is not my preferred transportation like it is his, but sometimes I like to use one."
"Guess Hirotaka really taught you a lot, didn't he?" Monique said. "Seems most everything you learned you learned from him."
"Many of the things that were not standard to Yamanouchi, yes. Or things that were more difficult for me to master," Fukushima replied quietly, picking at his food ever so slightly but not eating.
She frowned curiously and tilted her head at him. "Uh, Fuku? You okay?" she asked.
"Fine," he replied a bit curtly.
She frowned curiously but decided not to press. She wasn't sure why he wanted to avoid this topic suddenly, but it wasn't really her business she guessed. "Riiigh," she replied before turning attention to her own food.
Fukushima shifted a bit, hesitating. "Feelings of guilt, that is all," he said with a sigh.
"'Cause you betrayed the guy who taught you everything, took you under his wing, called you his brother, and treated you like his own flesh and blood?" she bit.
He gave her a sharp, scathing look, eyes narrowed darkly, and she knew she'd hit a nerve. Immediately she regretted trying to snark him when he was in this kind of funk. "I think I will eat lunch elsewhere," he bitterly bit, standing up and taking his plate.
"Wait, Fukushima, I'm sorry! I didn't think! I know that doesn't make it better, but I really am," she quickly said, standing swiftly with eyes wide. A part of her wondered why she was so freaked out he was leaving, but she didn't question it.
He gave her a sharp, somewhat cold look, seemed to debate whether or not to forgive her or scoff and walk away, then took a chance and went with the former, tentatively sitting back down but eyeing her darkly as he did. "Fine," he said. "Just stop reminding me every five minutes."
"Okay," she said, eagerly nodding and determinedly trying to placate him. He was exaggerating with the 'every five minutes' thing of course, but she got the point.
"Monique, Fukushima," Hirotaka greeted with a smile, approaching with Ron only seconds later. He noted Monique's slightly shaken expression and frowned a bit in concern before turning to look at Fukushima, who wouldn't meet his eyes or even look up from the plate. "Do I dare ask?" he dryly said.
"Everything is fine," Fukushima curtly replied.
Hirotaka's frown deepened, his eyes narrowing a little in suspicion. "I see," he replied, though doubt was thick in his tone. Nonetheless, he didn't pry. Just sat next to his friend. Ron sat on his other side.
"I feel like we missed something here," Ron said.
"It's nothing. We figured it out. Kind of," Monique replied, flushing a bit.
Rufus poked his head up, looked from one to the other, then chattered, "Liar, liar," as he sort of waggled his digits.
"Leave your rat at home next time, Outsider," Fukushima said, frowning at Rufus.
"Hey!" Rufus protested before harrumphing and crossing his arms.
"Whoa, easy dude. Rufus is sensitive. Don't worry little buddy, he didn't mean it," Ron said. Fukushima scoffed, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms, but didn't add on.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. Stayed behind to help the professor with some stuff," Kim said, approaching them and taking a seat. She frowned, looking around. "Uh, what's with the tension?" she asked dubiously.
"It's nothing!" Fukushima and Monique snapped in unison.
Kim started, looking at them both in surprise. "Uh, okay?" she said. "So, where's Yori?"
"Her class should just be getting out," Hirotaka replied with a smile. "She will be here soon."
"I am here, Hirotaka," Yori's voice said as she approached with a smile, carrying a tray. She sat at the last available seat.
"How was the test?" Kim asked.
"It was, as you say, a breeze," Yori replied with a grin. "That is why I was able to get out early."
Just then Kim's Kimmunicator rang. Frowning curiously, she looked at the watched and activated it. "Sitch me Wade," she said.
"New hit on the site. You'll never guess from who," Wade replied.
"Who?" Kim warily asked.
"Dr. Drakken," he said.
Kim started. "Excuse me?" she asked. The last time she'd gotten a notification like this had been during Drakken's whole body-swapping plot. "Is it actually Drakken this time, or are we talking brain-switch machine?" The ninjas started and looked at her blankly. "Long story," she brushed off.
"We're talking the real deal, and it's big," Wade replied.
"If it's big enough that Drakken is calling for help, do I wanna know?" she incredulously asked.
"No, but you probably should," Wade replied, smirking. The smirk vanished quickly, though. "Turns out the Bebes are back."
"The Bebes?! Oh man, not again," Ron said.
"The what-now's?" Monique said.
"Psycho robots bent on taking over the world. No big," Kim replied. "One of Drakken's pet projects turned rebel, that's all."
"No big? KP, hello, they wanted to make Bonnie their robot Queen!" Ron said.
"Robot Queen?" Hirotaka asked, somewhat intrigued by this.
"They are troublesome then?" Yori asked.
"Uh, understatement of the century," Ron replied.
"Super-fast, super-strong, super-agile, and super-psychotic," Kim said. "They have a hive mentality. That makes them dangerous. More than usual. They were supposed to have been destroyed. Guess they figured out how to put themselves back together." Or someone did it for them, but clearly that someone wasn't Drakken.
"And they are after you?" Hirotaka asked.
"Drakken seems to think so," Wade spoke up. "Apparently they hunted down Killigan and DNAmy. Asked them where you were. They claimed you were in Japan last they saw you just to get them out of their hair. Figured later that was probably a mistake because it confirmed they knew you."
"Which is bad because...?" Kim asked.
"Because your location and identity aren't exactly big secrets," Wade said.
"You're right. Why would the Bebes ask my foes where I am when a simple database search could give them everything they needed to find me?" Kim said, eyes widening a bit in understanding.
"And why would they need to confirm your foes?" Ron asked.
"Because foes are rivals to their ultimate goal, and heroes are more inclined than they should be to save enemies that do not deserve to be saved," Fukushima said. Hirotaka gave him a sharp look, frowning warily, but didn't comment on the remark.
"Ooh yeah! Hey maybe having a bad guy on the team isn't such a bad idea! Really get into the minds of other villains," Ron said. Fukushima gave him a borderline murderous glare, a scowl spreading dangerously across his lips. Ron started. "Uh, I-I mean ex-bad guy! Totally! Y'know, like-like some ex-con consultant in a TV cop-drama series!"
"Ron," Kim warned sharply before he could dig himself deeper into the hole.
"What? It's cool!" Ron whined.
Kim rolled her eyes hopelessly and turned to Fukushima. "Putting aside Ron's lack of tact, you may be onto something. If the Bebes want me, there'd be no better way to bait me in than by kidnapping my foes," Kim said.
"Drakken's seriously freaked," Wade chimed in.
"So we're helping the blue dude and his goons now?" Monique incredulously asked.
"We might not have a choice. The next logical step up from kidnapping my foes is kidnapping my friends," Kim seriously said, frowning at the thought.
"Then we will be working together with them," Yori said.
"It is a fool's errand and dangerous," Fukushima replied.
"We cannot turn a blind eye, Fukushima. If we are next, we cannot afford to," Hirotaka said. He turned to Kim. "But he is right. It is most strange and dangerous. We will have to proceed with caution."
"Agreed," Kim said. "We'll meet up at Bueno Nacho after school and try to figure out our next steps." She looked to the Kimmunicator. "Thanks for the update Wade."
"Anytime," he replied with a smile and salute before signing off.

Fukushima and Monique tore down a back country road on Fukushima's bike, racing Hirotaka and Yori to Kim's. Hirotaka was the one driving this time. "You have lost your touch, Fukushima!" Hirotaka called over to his friend as he and Yori pulled up alongside the other pair.
"Brother, this has hardly even begun!" Fukushima replied.
"We're so gonna wipe the floor with you two! Woo hoo!" Monique cheered in delight.
"I fear it will be us who will defeat you," Yori replied, smiling.
"You know you stand no chance," Hirotaka agreed with a smirk. He looked ahead. There was a blocked road sign, but he wasn't concerned. Where there was a will, there was a way. He tore passed it. Fukushima followed closely. Monique was suddenly quiet, though, seeming suddenly more uneasy about this.
"We will be fine. Trust me," Fukushima said.
Monique bit back a snarky remark and opted to stay quiet. If you don't have something nice to say and all that. Usually, he took her snark good-naturedly, but given the funk he'd seemed to be in earlier, she wasn't taking any chances. As Fukushima and Hirotaka tore around a corner, she gasped and clung to Fukushima with a death grip. Up ahead was a washed-out bridge! How were they supposed to get over that?! "Uh, Fukushima?" she nervously said.
"Trust me," he repeated, a smirk in his voice.
Hirotaka grinned, gunning it. Up ahead was a large tree root stretching out over the river below. He hit it full speed, driving up it like it was a ramp, and soared off the edge. Yori drew her tessan, turning and slicing the root as they drove up it so the other two couldn't follow, and the brother-sister duo soared over the river and landed safely on the other side, taking off down the road.
Monique gasped. "Watch out!" she cried to Fukushima, pointing.
Fukushima screeched to a stop, unable to follow them across the root ramp. "Dammit!" he angrily shouted, turning off the bike and glaring across at them.
"So not cool!" Monique complained, getting off the bike with a frown and whipping out her cell to call one or the other of them. Hirotaka's name of course came up first, so she selected it.
KP
Hirotaka, quite a ways ahead, felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and smirked to himself, bringing the bike to a stop. He pulled out his phone, checking the caller ID, and chuckled. Monique. He swiped to answer and put it to his ear. "Do you admit defeat?" he asked. Yori giggled a little.
"Okay Wise Guy, you win, now get back here and help us," Monique replied testily as Fukushima, scowling in equal annoyance, listened in on her side of the conversation. Suddenly there was a gust of wind and Monique gasped, finding herself and Fukushima suddenly surrounded by a trio of robots! Fukushima, gaping, looked around at them in shock, taken aback.
"Monique?" Hirotaka asked on his end, frowning curiously.
"Um, Hiro? We might have a problem," Monique said. "You know those robots Kim mentioned? I think they're about to cut out the foes and go straight for the friends. Get back here stat!"
"What? Monique...!" Hirotaka urgently began.
Monique screamed as suddenly the robots lunged, snatching her phone and crushing it. She staggered back to Fukushima and bumped into him with a gasp. She glanced back at him then looked at the robots once more.
"We want Kim Possible," one of the Bebes said.
"We-we don't know her," Monique tightly said.
"Monique. High school best friend," the same Bebe rattled off.
"Common associate," the second said.
"Threat level: Insignificant," the third Bebe rattled off.
"Excuse me?!" Monique demanded in outrage.
"Tigress, check yourself," Fukushima sharply warned. This wasn't something to play around with, he sensed.
"We will find Kim Possible through you," the first Bebe said.
"How better than through her friends and enemies?" the second asked.
"I am not her friend," Fukushima said, eyes narrowed.
"Scanning. Asian youth of unknown nationality. DNA test required. Approximately seventeen. No data found," the third said. "Threat level: Monitor."
"How messed are we right now?" Monique tightly asked, her and Fukushima going back to back as the Bebes robotically approached.
"Fight," Fukushima simply and grimly answered, hearing the distant echo of a motorcycle as Hirotaka and Yori roared back towards them.
"Oh man," Monique replied. All at once the Bebes lunged. Fukushima drew his sais, immediately attacking them and doing a surprisingly good job at keeping up with their attacks. Monique gasped and dove for a stick on the ground, snatching it up and swinging. Not that it did any good. The next second one of the Bebes demolished it, causing Monique to scream in surprise. She knew, as did Fukushima, that they stood no chance.
"Hiro, Yori!" Monique screamed as suddenly the bots lunged, seizing Fukushima and her in the blink of an eye. They tried to struggle, but there wasn't much opportunity. A second later, they were gone without a trace...
KP
"Hurry, Hirotaka! They will not be able to stop them alone!" Yori exclaimed as she and her brother raced back to the river where they'd left Fukushima and Monique.
"I know," he grimly replied. The two reached the river and came to a stop. There was no way back to the other side from here. They looked across and gasped in alarm. There were signs of a battle, the bike was abandoned on the ground, and Fukushima and Monique were gone!
"No! We are too late," Yori exclaimed in dismay.
"Fukushima, Monique!" Hirotaka shouted, cupping his hands over his mouth and hoping against hope that at least one of them had managed to slip away. Only silence met his call. His heart, pounding in his chest, sank into the pit of his stomach.
"Brother, we must tell Possible and Stoppable-San, before anyone else goes missing," Yori urgently said. Hirotaka desperately scanned the area, but he heard the truth in her words. They could do nothing for the other two anymore... With a shaking breath, he nodded his head and hurried back to the bike with his sister. Mounting it, the two swiftly drove away to meet with Kim, Ron, and Rufus.

A golf club struck a ball off a peg and sent it soaring toward the flag. Amy grinned, beaming proudly. "Ooh, lookie, that's my best one yet!"
Duff, gawking in shock, stared in disbelief as the golf ball landed almost right on the hole! "Ach, lassie, yer a natural," he said in disbelief.
"Thanks," Amy replied, scrunching up her face a bit as she grinned back at him.
"Ah canno' believe how easily ye've picked et up," Duff said, still stunned.
"Oh shucks, it was nothing. Besides, I couldn't have done it without your help," she flirtatiously said to him, leaning into the golfer and batting her eyes a few times. He was still gawking at how close the ball had come to the flag so didn't particularly notice. When he did, though, he started and looked down at her in wide-eyed disbelief. To his own surprise, though, he couldn't bring himself to pull away from her. She pulled away instead. "Oh Duffy, staying with you is so much fun! I even learned to golf on the very first day!"
"Aye, an' Ah learned how t' bake those delightful lettle cookies," Duff mused, smiling affectionately at the memory.
"Right?! This has been the best slumber party ever!" she exclaimed.
"Et's no' a slumber party!" Duff immediately protested, smile becoming a furious frown. "We're hidin' out, tha's all."
"Oh poo, you take all the fun out of sleepovers," Amy complained.
"Et's no' a sleepover!" he insisted. "Now wha' do ye wan' t' try next?"
"Ooh, I know! Let's play Twenty Questions," Amy said. "Me first!"
Just then there was a loud sound from the castle. They both gasped, turning quickly in its direction. There was no way they could have missed it. For a moment they were silent, listening for it again. "Strange," Duff finally and warily remarked.
"Maybe servants?" Amy asked.
"Lassie, Ah have no servants," Killigan grimly said. "Wha' was tha'?"
"It was my turn first," Amy playfully chirped. They heard the sound again and she gasped in fear, all mirth immediately vanishing. Even Duff looked a little startled and taken aback. Nervously they exchanged looks before cautiously approaching the castle.
Pushing open the doors, they peered curiously inside. It didn't seem there was anything of note going on. They pressed in a little further. "He..." Amy began to call.
"Shh," Duff quickly said, covering her mouth. Amy, startled at first, caught on and nodded in understanding. Duff took his hand away from her mouth, brandished his biggest club in both hands, and cautiously began to slink through his castle. Amy stayed close, clinging to his shoulders nervously and looking frantically around.
Killigan rounded a corner and gasped, stopping. The living room, which by the way had been locked previously, was now open wide. "Th-that wasn't like that before," Amy tightly whispered.
"Ah know. We may have a wee problem on our hands," Killigan replied. "Stay here." She nodded, letting his shoulders go, and he pressed onward once more. She prepared to call out a Cuddle Baby at a moment's notice if need be.
Before Killigan got five steps, there was a gust of air and suddenly the two found themselves surrounded by the robots that had accosted them before. "The Bebes!" Amy exclaimed in alarm.
"But how can they have gotten here?!" Killigan demanded, going back to back with her.
"Speed!" Amy replied. "Do you see how fast they move? They probably just ran across the water!"
"Bebe is perfect," Bebe One said.
"Bebe will not be stopped," Bebe Two added.
"Do not struggle. Bebe does not seek to fight. Yet," Bebe Three said.
Killigan, blatantly ignoring them, pulled out a pouch of explosives with a scowl, and scattered them on the floor. "Fore!" he called before letting them fly wildly. They hit their marks, each one, and upon impact exploded. When the dust cleared, however, the Bebes still stood there, not a scratch on them. Killigan gasped in shock.
"They're indestructible. Run!" Amy exclaimed in alarm, grabbing his arm and pulling him through a door right next to them. They ran to an alternate exit in the castle, bailing out of it and into the golf course. "Oh this is so, so bad," she tightly said.
All at once they were surrounded again and cried out in alarm.
"You cannot escape Bebe," Bebe One said.
"We have come for you," Bebe Two added.
"Then Kim Possible will come to us," the third declared darkly. Before the golfer and geneticist even had a chance to react, they were grabbed and screamed in terror. By the time the echoes died out, Killigan, Amy, and the Bebes were nowhere to be seen, the island abandoned...

"The Bebes got Monique and Fukushima?!" Kim exclaimed in shock and alarm upon hearing Hirotaka and Yori's story.
"KP, they skipped the foes and went straight for the friends!" Ron exclaimed.
Kim, snapping out of the shock, frowned, eyes narrowing. "Oh that's it. No one messes with my people!" she furiously said. "Come on guys, we're going after them!" Just then her Kimmunicator went off. She clicked the button. "Not a good time Wade!" she testily said.
"Kim, urgent message from Drakken. Killigan and DNAmy were just snatched by the Bebes!" Wade exclaimed.
The group froze, gasping. "They got Fukushima and Monique too!" Ron blurted. "Oh we're all doomed!"
"As long as we still have Drakken, we have a chance. This just got personal on all sides. We're in this together now," Kim said, narrowing her eyes in determination. "The Bebes have taken on the wrong two teams!"
"Team Drakken and Team Possible working together. That I'd like to see. Good luck guys. I'll keep you posted," Wade said, smirking in amusement.
"We will need it," Hirotaka dryly replied.
"I'm contacting Drakken. Tomorrow we meet in Upperton Park," Kim determinedly said.
Upperton Park
As planned, Teams Drakken and Possible met up in the park the next day. It was neutral ground. Anywhere else would have just been inviting a bloodbath. "This all started with your bots!" Ron said to Drakken, who was holding a device that was screen-timing Monkey Fist. The Nobleman looked highly annoyed, sitting back in his easy chair with one leg crossed over the other and his fingers drumming on the armrests dangerously.
"Oh shove it up your…" Drakken began.
"Drew please! There are civilized people about," Monkey Fist sharply cut off.
"Nrrgh, fine," Drakken sulked with a pout.
"They're trying to lure me in by kidnapping my friends and foes. Bad news for them. It won't work," Kim said.
"Yeah, mmm hmm, and what happens if a body or two shows up?" Shego challenged. Kim started and looked a little shaken at the implication.
"Um, Shego, how about we not go there yet?" Drakken uneasily said, squeamish at the thought.
"Reality bites, Dr. D," she replied, frowning at him.
"All of us are their targets, but there are others who may be at risk as well," Yori said.
"I'm with her," Monkey Fist agreed. "The Seniors are on that list. So is my mother. I will not have the only family I have left abducted and killed by those psychopathic robots."
"What about Bates?" Shego asked.
"I include him in my family," Monkey Fist replied.
"Never saw you as much of a family guy," Kim wryly remarked.
"Because I'm not! The less inconvenient this is for me, though, the better," Monkey Fist insisted.
"Hana is in grave danger as well," Hirotaka solemnly said, bowing his head. "And Amelia."
"Then we start there," Kim said. "Hiro and Ron, go check on Amelia and Hana. Yori and I will start looking for the Bebes' lair."
"Good. Shego and I will assist," Drakken stated. "Monkey Fist, hide away your mother and valet then get over here. Let's not be too concerned about the Senior's right now. Their lair is practically a fortress."
"Right," Monkey Fist said, nodding.
"And for the love of Pete, be careful!" Drakken added. "The last thing I needed is another missing ally."
"Where shall we all meet up?" Monkey Fist asked.
"Hopefully near the Bebe hive," Shego said.
"Once we find it, I'll patch all of you the coordinates," Kim said. "Let's move people." Huffing and rolling her eyes, Shego walked off. Drakken followed her.
"Are we sure this is a good idea?" Ron uneasily asked.
"Nope," Kim said, visibly annoyed by her enemies. "But it's the best chance we've got."
