Hi everyone!
It's been a good while, but I'm kind of back I think? Not sure, but thanks to one of the fanfiction readers I'm reviving my story 'the connection'. It's just a bit different than before (for those who can still remember it). I changed it a bit, but I do hope it'll be to your liking. Enjoy!
Prologue
Flashes of lightning were dancing in the air, thunder following right after as a base drum that would set the beat of the night. High-pitched screams could be heard in the background that brought shivers to anyone who would pass by. A teenage girl peeked out of the windows, watching the lightning momentarily light up the sky. The girl hugging herself as she pressed herself against the wall, her eyes swollen and red from all the crying she had done the past couple of days. Shivering from the cold. The white concrete walls suffocating her.
Suddenly, the wooden door of her little cell opened, two threatening men standing in the doorway. "Hello sweet pie, are you ready? It's your turn." A flash of shock and fear was painted on the face of the young teenager. Upon seeing the fear in her eyes, the male with long black hair like a 90s rock star and slender body started grinning, enjoying the sight of fear and helplessness before him. His companion didn't seem to be bothered by any of it and followed the black-haired male, who was now walking towards the girl. Both men gripped her hand and were about the drag the female with them until a voice interrupted their proceedings.
"Aren't you being a little rough?" Behind the two males, a man with a green hat was leaning against the door, his voice sounded rather chirpy. His clogs sticking out and his blonde hair only visible when the flash of lightning appeared. "Urahara-san, what are you doing here?" The black-haired male growled, the grin wiped off his face by the sudden presence of the male in green. "Funny question. I just happened to walk by and couldn't stand the sight of what was about to happen. I had to step in Nnoitra. Also, since when does a mere subject dare to ask what his master's plans are?" A goofy smile appeared on his face, making a gesture that would suggest that the two of them leave. Nnoitra narrowed his eyes, signaling his companion to let the girl go, and both decided to take their leave. The man with the hat and clogs met the eyes of the girl and simply nodded. "You're welcome."
The door closed, and the teenage girl was left behind in her cold cell, tears rolling down her eyes as she once again felt like her heart had been ripped out for the second time.
"Thud!" Thunder and rain were dominating the night. It was if there was an army of men in the sky, parading through the land. The male standing in front of the window was relieved he was inside. He looked at the reflection of himself and the petite girl in the window, feeling grim as the rain and thunder kept raging through the air. His mind wanted to drift off when suddenly a petite hand was sliding up his chest. "Hmm. Your abdomen is my favorite part." A small smile appeared on the male in his face, the upper half of his body unclothed. He turned around to face the petite woman whose hand was on his chest, his dark brown eyes meeting her voilet ones. "Seems like all my training has paid off." The smile turning into a grin as he wrapped his arms around her little form. "Is there something the matter? You don't seem like yourself." The small female asked in a whisper, her breath meeting his chest. "Nah, it's just the weather. You know how much I hate the rain." The petite female with raven hair pulled away from her lover and met his face, tiptoed to reach him and planted a kiss on his lips. "A beloved kiss will make all these feelings go away. Forget the rain and focus on us, please?" Her eyes pleading.
She led the male to his king-size bed, kissing him once again. In the process of kissing, she ended up on top of him, his hands roaming around her small form. The moment of pleasure was short-lived due to the sudden bonking on the door.
"Kurosaki-sama, Kuchiki-sama. I am very sorry to interrupt, but I am afraid I have a message to relay." A tall, well, build butler around his sixties now opened the door, peeking inside. A sigh left the male as the female crawled away from his body, giving him a soft smile. "What is it, Giriko?" The male ran his hand through his fluffy orange hair. "It is a message for Kuchiki-sama. It is from the head of the Kuchiki house, Lord Byakuya." Violet eyes suddenly became wider. "Nii-sama... is it important?" Giriko the butler nodded and said, "It is very urgent, and it cannot wait. He wants you back at the estate as soon as possible." The female nodded and tidied herself before making her way to the door. "My apologies Ichigo. It seems I cannot stay. You know how Nii-sama is..." She trailed off as her lips were caught in a sudden kiss. "I know Rukia, I know. Don't worry about it. I'll see you soon, okay?" Ichigo's eyes softened, which made Rukia shy and a blush appeared on her face. "Yes, I'll return to your side as soon as possible." She soon made her way into the darkness of the night, leaving behind the orange haired male who was now lying on his bed, the picture frame on his nightstand caught his attention. "I am one lucky bastard."
