This will take place after the conclusion to the television show. I've always thought about different scenarios after the end of the series. This will be one take on it. Let me know what y'all think.

Three months after the disasteroid.

'All seems pretty quiet this evening' Danny thought as he did his usual patrol around Amity park. He's been out for a while now and it was getting pretty late. Truth be told not much happened any more. Ever since he and the rest of the ghosts saved the world from the disasteroid anything that does go on is kind of boring.

"Danny, do you copy?" Came the voice of his father, Jack Fenton through the Fenton-Phones.

"Hey dad. What's up?"

"Just letting you know north side of town is clear. Me and your mother are gonna pack it in. There's a plate of fudge calling my name at home" he says. After everyone found out my secret team phantom added a few members, namely Jack and Maddie Fenton.

"Alright. There is not much to see over here either. I'll see you and mom soon."

"Be safe dear" comes the voice of his mother. Danny doesn't respond. There's nothing to worry about tonight anyways. Most of the ghosts that used to be such a problem have in a way become allies, some even friends. There are still a handful that like to cause problems but they don't make a appearance tonight.

Sam doesn't really approve of anything to do with our former enemies, and tucker is too busy with his mayoral duties to even come on patrol any more.

"Hey Sam? Ready to meet up?" I call over the Fenton-phones.

"Sure Danny. Headed your way now. I'll be ther soon." As Danny turns to head to Nasty Burger, their meet up spot, his ghost since goes off. He pauses for a moment, carefully surveying the area, but doesn't see anything. 'Weird' he thought. 'I could have sworn...' but he eventually brushes it off and heads to meet his girlfriend.

Things have progressed nicely between Danny and Sam. He cares for her deeply and he feels like she cares for him the same. It's just getting hard to continue the relationship with his "celibacy" status and all. But they're making it work as best as they can.

Danny arrives at the Nasty burger and changes to his human form. He goes inside and orders the regular burger meal and goes to their usual booth. The place is surprisingly empty, but he's okay with that. He'd rather not be bombarded with fans.

While he patently waits for Sam he can't shake the feeling he's being watched. Maybe he's just being paranoid but he feels like there is something not right. He sits there for another five minutes. 'She should have been here by now' he thinks to himself.

"Sam? Do you copy?" he asks over the Fenton-phones.

"..."

"Sam?"

"..."

'What the hell?' He thinks to himself. Immediately worried, he gets up from his seat and switches to his ghost form. He goes intangible and flies through the roof of the Nasty Burger to look for Sam. They were patrolling the south side of town tonight so he heads toward the area she should be in all the while still trying to get ahold of her.

Flying over the high school his ghost sense goes off. Pausing to look around he's suddenly hit by surprise in the back by a powerful ghost ray sending him to the ground hard. Trying to catch his bearings suddenly another hits him, then another. He doesn't have time to properly defend against the surprise attack.

He finally sees an opening and moves to where he can assess the situation. Standing behind a wall for cover he goes intangible and moves to try to see who's been attacking him, but he doesn't see anyone. He feels like he's been hit by a train. There aren't many ghosts that can inflict this much damage to him.

He continues searching high and low for his attacker but can't find anyone. Regardless he doesn't have time for this right now. He needs to find Sam. Turning tangible again he is immediately bombarded with more ghost rays sending him to the ground again. Already battered he hits so hard he sees dots and his vision gets cloudy. Just before passing out he sees a figure set down beside him.

"Hello Daniel" comes a voice he hasn't heard in months and he was hoping he'd never hear again.

Danny try's to lift himself up but gets kicked in the back of the head causing everything to go black.
