Every great wizard starts in small beginnings for some they started in a big city like London, born into a big pure blood family like the Malforys and were the subject of some crazy prophecy. But this wizard did not start out like that, his journey into the wizarding world starts with him helping his family by mowing the lawn and keeping an eye on his dog while listening to a song called 'it has to be this way'. Well until his lawn mower starts to have trouble.
"Work come on work you stupid piece of shit!" Said a tall 11 year old hispanic boy with short black and brown eyes wearing black shorts and a black shirt which had a red wolf howling at the moon on it this was one Ramon Patrick Navarro. Most people would find this boy to be very kind and he was to his family and friends but unknown to his friend he is a wizard and was about to get a letter from a place he would never think to receive anything from a place called Hogwarts. As he was working hard mowing his family lawn while listening to music he didn't noticed a woman in a green dress and a green hat that was not meant for Texas appeared right in front of him and this set off his dogs who started bark at her as he was mowing until he looked up at her an stopped mowing and said "oh shit, were the, there was no one, who are you?"
"Child you have a foul mouth but to answer your question I'm one professor Minerva Mcgonagall I was sent by the headmaster to personally give you your letter to Hogwarts." Mcgonagall Said as she handed him a letter that said 'Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry'
"Cool but how the hell did I get one if I..., Harley and Lobo, quiet, if I'm an American?" Ramon spoke, sounding confused and a little bit mad at his dogs. The dog for the most part was calm after he yelled but was looking out for their boy.
"We can talk about it more inside, tell me, is your parents home?" Minerva asked.
"Mom is, dad's working. Let me get them in and tell my mom we have a guest." And with that Ramon let go of his mower and walked to his house to get his dogs in.
Later
"I'm surprised that you know about Hogwarts ." Minerva said as she was sitting at a table across from a white woman with red hair and green eyes who was staring at the Hogwarts letter.
"Ramon's not my first child that had to go to a school that was not in America . My eldest child Jennifer went to Mahoutokoro. When we were stationed in California."
"I assume your husband is a muggle?"
"No he's a Marine but don't say that again in my house because well let's just say that it will end badly for you." Mrs. Navarro said as the light started to go out and Minerva heard the dogs growling.
"I'm sorry if I offended you and your husband. I hope that you will allow your child to go to Hogwarts. It's a really good school. We have the best schools and the greatest teachers." Minerva said trying to not anger the redhead who remained her of Molly on a bad day or when a death eater tried to harm her husband during the war.
"Look at me and promise that he will be safe, Professor Mcgonagall. I know that the last Potter will be going there and that most of the death eaters are still in your grovermont. So promise me that he will be safe."
"Mrs. Navarro, I assure you that Hogwarts will protect him."
"Ok I will let him go but his furry sister is going with him to get his supplies. I have some errands to run, Ramon be good." Mrs. Navarro said as she pointed to a white fox with six tails who was laying on a small dog bed and turned to her son who was reading the letter by Frost .
"How does your family have a kitsune?"
"Her name is Frost and she followed Ramon back and stayed with him after he went to a temple in Japan."
'This year is going to be very interesting.' Mcgonagall thought as she saw
Diagon alley
Ramon was both amazed by Britain but both dispint by the magic district that was Diagon Alley. 'Even a pleasanton Texas magic district was more modern than this place even with all 6 cultures.' Ramon thought as he remembered seeing both elves and goblins dress in modern clothes.
"Ok, what's the first place to go to Professor?" Ramon said as he was wearing a black hoodie and had a wooden box on his back.
"Our first place is Gringotts then Ollivander's and Madam malkin's then we will be off to lunch and then we will get your books." Mcgonagall explained as she was walking to a large white building as many pure bloods were looking at the kid who everyone thought was a muggleborn.
"Ok I wonder how today will go?" Ramon Said as the duo stopped at the entrance of the bank and the moment they entered all the guard pointed a spear at Ramon and said "state your name and place of origin wizard.
"Ramon Patrick Navarro and I'm for Texas." Just then one of the guards heard that he immediately cast a spell that caused Ramon to feel that he was being patted down. To say that most magical creatures and all wizards were afraid of Texan in general was an understatement all because of how crazy the place is for wizard form la Llorona, a Mexican of a lonely witch who killed her kids and was punished by a mob to be doomed wonder the Rio Granda looking for her lost children, to El Muerto a thief who stole form the wrong Texas Ranger and was curse to wonder the lands for ever bring misfortune to all, and the place were the chupacabra species were known to mate. So that is why Ramon was not surprised when he was being patted down.
"What in the box Texan?" One of the guards said as they heard some growls coming from it. Ramon just smiled and said " a friend."
All the guard just stared as the box opened out jumped a white kitsune who looked anger as the guards saw frost starting to appear on their weapons as Frost got closer but before the situation could get any worse Ramon tried to speak in Japanese 'Frost stop they are not a threat ' but he said ' Frost they are not a treat.' Frost just turned around and used her claws and wrote in purse in English 'you have been visiting Japan since you were 6 and never learned Japanese . SHAME ON YOU!'
"Hey I'm trying to learn." To say that everyone was both confused and terrified except for Mcgonagall by the fact that a 11 year old had one of the most dangerous magical canines in the world but it was as smart as a wizard.
"Can I please have my American money exchanged for British money." Ramon said not caring about the fact that he was having weapons pointed at him.
'How is his mother worried about him?' Mcgonagall thought as he was walking into the bank.
Later at Madam Malkin's
The clothes shop Ramon thought the place was nice as he was waiting to be fitted for his school uniform along with two other boys one was blond the other had black hair.
"What house do you two think you will be in?" The blond question as he was being fitted the other boy looked unsure and to be honest Ramon was unsure most play because of how his family was a military family that moved a lot and the how crazy American magical school system is.
"I don't know, I know most schools had a house system. But my dad's job caused us to move around a lot and the Texas magical community is independent from America and even then there are multiple schools in America. Sorry for getting off topic but I think I would like to go Ravenclaw or Slytherin. I'm Ramon Navarro by the way." Ramon Said after Unintentionally scaring all the pure bloods and the poor tailor who was working on him.
"I'm Harry Potter and you're from Texas?" Harry asked
"It's nice the people are weird but it's home."
"Wha" but before the blond could ask Mcgonagall came in and said " come along it time for your wand." Ramon smiles upon hearing this and like that they are off leaving both Harry, the blond kid and the blonds mother questioning but before they could ask him Ramon was gone only leaving Frost to leave a bag of money by the tailor.
Olavander's
"So I just go in here and the owner sells my wand." Ramon asked as he was looking at an old shop that most people overlook if they didn't know what the place is. Ramon was curious how his sister got her wand but he never learned how she got. The stop was filled with boxes and shelves with what only he could assume was wands.
"Is it someone new?" Asked an old man who scared Ramon and caused Frost to jump out of her box growling at him.
"I don't think I've ever seen a kitsune outside of Japan. Well if you need to get a wand so let see ah 11inch oak dragon blood core." Olvander said as he handed the wand to Ramon.
"Well give a wave."
"Ok your Funeral man." Ramon said as he waved the wand and caused a spell that sent wand boxes flying out of their shelves.
"Not that wand. Let's see what else there is."
"Mr. Ollivander, you should really make a place for testing wands." Ramon Said as he was feeling a little bit bad about the damage he caused.
"Maybe I should but later here try this one 12inch Beech with a Core of Phoenix Feather." Ollivander said as he gave Ramon another wand and when he waved it the wand started to glow and an image of Dire wolves, kitsunes, wendigos and a few other creatures that he did not know all looking at him and bowing.
Ollivander was amazed by what the wand did but then he heard Ramon say "Well that was interesting so how much do I owe you?"
Ollivander was suprised and reminded him of some for years ago "wait a minute your form Texas aren't you?"
"Yes how much" Ramon Said as he was holding a bag of money smiling.
'Well they're letting a Texan into Hogwarts again. That hasn't happened since the 1800s when Texas was being founded . I hope they are ready for another Texan.' Ollivander thought as he saw Ramon leave the store.
Texas
After a long day Ramon was just happy to be home with his family but was surprised to see a woman in a well tailored black suit holding a suitcase with 4 people behind him on thestrals. The men on the thestrals looked like they had a specialty in a form of magic. One had potion bottles on his chest and was dressed black. Another looked something like the man in black from the show west world. The last two were weird because they looked like twins but one looked like they had a disease and the other looked lIke he was going to die of starvation and had some small deer antlers coming out from his hat.
"Holy shit it's the four horsemen and the fucking devil." Ramon said in shock as Frost came out of her box growling at the strangers.
"Wow Lucy he called you the…" the horned cowboy was about to say more but was hexed off the thestrals by the woman.
"Fuck off. Now my name is Lucy Latulipe Morningstar no I'm not the devil. Me and my associates are going to be your case manager for the foreseeable future. Any questions?"
"One, why is your last name Moringstar?"
"..." Lucy just started at Ramon for a bit and said "because my mom is Rose Latulipe."
"Holy shit."
