Title- Rest in Peace

Author- Britt Britt

Pairing- Jonathan/OC

Rating- PG, I'm not good at ratings.

Summary- Jonathan wakes up next to a woman and doesn't remember the night before. Somewhat angsty.

Disclaimer- Jonathan doesn't belong to me, if he were he would have been in the Mummy Returns a lot more.

Feedback- PLEASE

Notes- This is actually my first Mummy fic, so you HAVE to let me know how I did. And this is kinda the shortest fic I've written so far(just a little over 300 words), so I'm trying to fill it up with these notes to make it look better. Filler filler filler filler filler filler...

The first thing Jonathan Carnahan remembered when he woke up was absolutely nothing. He had no recognition of the night before. It was all a big alcoholic blur.

One thing Jonathan seemed to notice though was that he was in a large bed, naked, with an equally naked blond next to him. Jonathan sat up rubbing his forehead, trying to recall the night before. Then it started to come back to him in flashes.

Drinks, lots of drinks. And more drinks. And still more drinks. Men in black suits. Women crying. A black car. A preacher. Sadness. Yes, that distinct feeling of loss.

Yes, he remembered now. It was a funeral.

Now laid to rest was his... freedom. With a groan Jonathan laid back in his honeymoon sweet bed and looked at the new Mrs. Jonathan Carnahan.

With a sigh he reached for the bottle of scotch on the table next to him. "Here's to my manhood. May it rest in peace," he toasted and then took a swig.

Told ya it was sad. I mean what woman wouldn't be sad that Jonathan was taken? Maybe there'll be a prequel, depending on what you guys think *hint hint* But whew! That was a hard 300 word fic.(I have commitment problems with my fics.)
