My favorite character in lord of the rings is Borimir, true he only lives
till the end of the first movie but he is truly the best character of all
the books.
There are some who think Legolas the best, or Aragorn, Gimli or even Frodo or Gollumn, there is nothing wrong with these opinions after all we are all entitled to them and mine is that Borimir is above all the best character in lord of the rings.
The second time I watched the movie I cried sincerely when he was dying, for some very obvious reason I feel very emotional after watching it, that's why I wrote this. So please don't laugh, but share your opinion on what you think of it.

Borimir, son of Denathor waked silently through the halls of his ancestors, contemplating his death and the quest of the ring, how long he had been dead he did not know, he was never one to keep track of time.
His thoughts turned to the rings bearer, probably somewhere near Mordor by now, was he succeeding his quest? Borimir hoped so, for if Frodo failed than Middle earth would be lost, Gondor would be lost, all would be lost.
At this thought Borimir shook his head, he must have faith in Frodo, he had already done so much, surely he could take care of himself. Yet a doubt still hung in his already burdened mind.
He regretted trying to take the ring from Frodo, if only he had been able to control himself. He blamed himself, blamed himself for everything that had come upon the fellowship. Yet, he had tried to redeem himself, he had fought bravely until the end, this thought lightened his heart slightly.
And there was always Aragorn, perhaps he could somehow change histories terrible course he was a man of strong spirit.
And Gimli, a stout heart fit for a sturdy warrior, a little spiteful at times but otherwise a strong and clever combatant.
And Legolas, graceful an skillful man, perhaps these three would somehow manage to change things. after all, there was always hope. Always hope for a better future.
Perhaps all was not lost.

Well I hope you enjoyed it. it's a little strange but, its just to show that Borimir is no villain although I'm sure the movie got it across to you
very well.
May Borimir prevail long!! Ahem. Well anyways I appreciate reviews.
