"Well, good afternoon class." The teacher said. "Today in Defense Against the Dark Arts, we will be facing boggarts. Let's being with giving some points. Who can tell me what a boggart is?" 2 people put their hands up. "Yes, Miss Evans?"

Lily put her hand back down. She hadn't noticed the other hand in the back of the room, but he had called her. "A boggart is a creature that lives in dark places and takes the form of whatever scares the person facing it the most." Just like a dictionary.

"Terrific, miss Evans. Take 10 points. What's our advantage?" This time, Lily's hand didn't shoot up. She didn't know the answer.

"Ah, anyone? Yes, you, there, in the back, Mister Potter."

Lily turned in shock to see his hand up.

"Since we're in a group, the boggart won't know what to become."

Lily gave him thumbs up and blew him a kiss.

"Excellent. 10 more points. To make it more difficult, we shall face it one at a time. We shall go in order."

Lily waited by James. Then, she went in. 2 minutes later, she cam out sobbing and crying. She ran to James' arms.

"There, there. It's ok. It couldn't have been that bad, Lily flower."

"Oh but it was. That stupid boggart. I became-"

"Potter, James."

"Sorry, I've got to go to my fate. I march onward to battle. May a knight have a kiss from his fair maiden?" She pecked his cheek lightly.

About 30 seconds later, he came out with a look of utter shock, horror, and sadness. He looked pale and sweaty.

"Honey? What's wrong, James? Did you get its ass good?"

"Yeah. I just never knew that scared me so much."

"Will you feel better if you tell me?" she hugged him as he mumbled.

"Yes. It took your shape, but dead!"

"OH MY GOD! The same for me, only it was you who was dead." "I love you so much. I swear to protect you. Forever!"

"I'll never leave you. Not as long as I have something to do with it!"

"So, that's our fear?"

"Yes, it would appear so my little Lily of the Valley."
