A/N: I had a fascinating conversation with Yourfavauthor on discord which prompted this idea. Akihito is a summoned demon that becomes Asami's ace in the hole when it comes to blackmailing people who oppose him. Outsiders think he's just a plaything but Asami's closest men know better.

Aki is more confident due to being centuries old and having experiences back in his world. But, he sasses Asami because he knows he can get away with it.

Thanks for reading!

The room stunk of stale blood and other indistinguishable smells. Almost choke inducing to the point where the occupants of the room covered their mouths with face masks and an under layer of scented fabric. The smell dulled enough for them to maneuver the sacrifices in their proper spaces, giving them no pushback from going through their duties.

In their line of work, varying bodily fluids were a staple in rougher nights of the week. A bit of gore didn't make them flinch or gag. Too much. If they were bothered, they hid it well underneath a cool and neutral face.

Showing reactions in front of their leader was an embarrassment and a shame.

Their boss, Asami Ryuichi, stood in the middle of the room. He held a weathered out book in his left hand with a dripping paintbrush in the other hand. Droplets of the paint landed on his loafers, but he ignored them in favor of the contents of the book. Lacking his signature black suit, he wore a sleeveless black turtleneck, black slacks, and old beaten down loafers.

As he compared the lines he drew on the floor to the summoning circle in the book, Asami mentally listed the sacrifices needed for this spell to work.

Everything was in perfect order.

He used the blood and bodies of old enemies and imported animals to complete a majority of the payment. Everything was set in their proper places, but he needed to paint the lines with precision. One wrong flick of his paintbrush and it failed.

All the hard work in maneuvering the sacrifices would be for nothing.

It was a hassle having to dispose of so many bodies.

Asami crouched down, careful in not smudging the paint on the floor. He started adding on a sequence of lines that matched the page.

In between unpainted lines stood Kirishima and Suoh. Asami's trusted men watched their leader for years, followed his word without question, but were concerned in this new venture.

Kirishima voiced his concern. "Are you certain of continuing this, Asami-sama?" He watched his boss concentrate on painting the symbols on the floor with a steady hand. "We may not have the supernatural on our side, but we have willing men to do your bidding. There is no need to do this."

Asami lifted his head from his book and peered back. His golden eyes glowed in the candlelight. "I know what I am doing. It is best to keep a safe measure just in case someone intends to betray me again."

The finality in Asami's tone caused Kirishima to refrain from convincing him. There was no use arguing against his boss once he set his mind on his plans. He was there to assist not to contradict his boss's orders.

Kirishima found the whole concept of demon summoning a ridiculous endeavor. None of the stories told of a demon who didn't turn against their summoner. Most of them feasted on the soul and returned after causing immense chaos. The few cases of success were well hidden or brushed aside as folklore.

As far as the public knew, demon summoning was impossible. Fabricated through organized religions and horror movies to scare the weak willed. A concept the superstitious fell for to excuse certain bad episodes in their lives.

Seeing his leader, Asami Ryuichi fall into this pitfall was flabbergasting. This powerful man dove into the research, bartered for the book, and went through the trouble of attaining the material needed for the ritual.

Yet, the thought of the ritual failing was a positive note in this whole situation.

There was no way this demon summoning would work.

Having practiced the words, Asami chanted them out loud, paying close attention to the pronunciation for full effect. Having gone through various pronunciation websites, he was certain he said these words correctly. To appear doubtful in front of his men wasn't good for his image.

As the chanting grew in intensity, Asami's eyes stayed glued on the pages. Focused on every word and every period to catch a breath.

Other than Kirishima and Suoh, who stood outside of the circle, the rest of the men stood in the hallway. The door was closed, locked, and secured from anything or anyone from escaping the room.

Asami stood at the vantage point to signify him as the summoner.

There was no use in going through all the trouble if the demon recognized someone else as its master. Asami would dispose of the interloper and fight for the spot. He wasn't hesitant to kill if it meant keeping his ace in the hole for himself.

To Suoh and Kirishima's astonishment, the circle began to glow. Glowing orbs transcended from the light, engulfing the room. A gust of wind burst through, blowing out the candles and stirring up the dust inside of the room.

After a brief blinding of their eyes, the light diminished, leaving the room in complete darkness. Kirishima flipped the switch, exposing their newest guest who sat in the middle of the summoning circle. Cloud of fog diminished enough for the demon to become more and more visible.

Asami hid his smug victory at having done it.

Sitting in the middle of a circle was an actual demon.

A sandy blond haired young man with hazel eyes stared up at the group. Diagonal blue lines accented his eyes, making it look like eyeliner. Those same diagonal lines were on his wrists, ankles, and neck. A black tail came out of his tail bone, laying docile on his lap. Black jagged horns came from the side of his head, curling at the ends.

One thing was for sure, Akihito was naked.

Fully naked.

He sat back, not embarrassed at his nakedness. His crotch and muscular legs were on full display as he inspected the room. Remnants of his soapy bath clung to his body, causing an uncomfortable trickle of water to seep into certain areas. He ignored the feeling of being watched to stare at the human who managed to activate his specific contract.

The human was in the beginnings of his prime. Physically appealing. With an asymmetrical face with well cut cheekbones. His black suit accented his broad shoulders and cinched his tiny waist. The human appeared taller than himself. What stunned him was his golden eyes. A trait not seen in humans. He was certain this man had demon blood running through his veins. Adding onto assumptions of his background, this human summoned him without backlash. An accomplishment that Akihito was curious to find out the reason for.

Hearing the click of the safety being pushed down, Akihito hummed. There would be time for going through his research. He was more curious about the reason he was summoned. As far as he could tell, there were no echoes of war sounding throughout this plane.

The last human who attempted to summon him was a warlord from a war-torn country who wanted a high tier demon to demolish a neighboring city to expand his empire. He aimed for Akihito's tier to complete his job. One element of the symbol was sloppy while the sacrifices were lackluster. He lost an eye and use of his kidneys as a result of the backlash.

His friend, Takato, ended up taking the contract and endured a week of the human's audacity. Takato had fun killing his contractor after having a buffet of the city's population. He described the insults and fake bravado before the man crumbled during his torture.

A tinge of fear in the blood added a bit of spiciness to their meal.

Crossing his legs, the demon observed the human with a speculative eye. He felt the contract connection solidified between them.

This human was indeed his contractor.

The demon licked his lips, tempted to have a testing bite of the handsome human. A bite not dangerous enough to kill. Maybe, a more passionate bite during arduous pleasure in a soft bed. Enough to whet his appetite before he was given his orders to follow through.

Asami did his own inspection of the demon. Ignoring the nagging thought of the vulnerable nakedness of the demon, the human instinct to run echoed in the back of his mind. This demon exuded a rank dark aura that the foulest humans couldn't hope to emulate.

According to the spell, the demon he summoned was in a higher tier. Capable of human speech, intelligent, in control of his blood lust. He was a far cry from the low tiers who were incapable of minute control of their facilities. One of the many demons who blended into society well enough to appear human-like.

This demon was tied to Asami's soul. Giving the demon a sense of danger to intervene whenever Asami was in danger.

A perfect bodyguard to keep under his watch.

Suoh and Kirishima kept their guns pointed at the alluring beauty. Distracting beauty aside, they couldn't leave Asami open for retaliation. Even if the demon was contracted to follow Asami's orders, he might find a loophole to kill him.

When the demon spoke, a clear, soothing voice was heard. "What's your name, summoner?"

"Asami Ryuichi."

"Hmm..." The demon grinned. "Well, nice to meet ya! I call myself Takaba Akihito. I haven't had a summoner in centuries! Most humans end up summoning a lower rank demon who eats them on the first night." He got up on his feet and stretched up his arms, showing off his nimble body and lightly accented abs. "How did you manage to collect the large amount of blood for the ceremony?"

Asami removed his pack of cigarettes and lighter from inside of his blazer before he removed a stick. He placed it inside of his mouth before he lit it up. "I am in a position of power where I can make a human disappear without question." Inhaling the smoke, he blew it out through his nose, somewhat clearing the room of the blood stench. "Collecting blood and the right items wasn't an issue."

Impressed, Akihito whistled. "Nice! The last one who summoned me killed his whole clan for a smidgen of power. Poor idiot got himself killed in a crossfire between far more powerful clans. His soul was...meh. Actually, it tasted disgusting now that I think about it.."

Kirishima and Suoh shared a flabbergasted look.

Akihito continued on. "Anyways...what is your wish, summoner?"

Asami motioned his men to leave the room. Suoh and Kirishima pushed the safety on their guns before shoving them inside of holsters. Suoh obeyed Asami's orders, but Kirishima didn't move for a fraction of a second. He complied when he saw the irritation in Asami's eyes over his mother henning.

The moment Kirishima and Suoh closed the door behind them, Asami declared. "My wish is for you to use your power to defeat and protect me from all of my enemies. To become my bodyguard."

"Hmm...simple enough…" Akihito grinned, thrilled at such an easy soul snatching. He was always lucky in completing the task fairly quickly and eating his fill with the human who contracted him.

Protecting one human from harm was simple enough.

"Not exactly." Asami noted the mischievous glint in the demon's eye. "In my line of work, whether it is underground or in daylight, I have procured an exorbitant number of enemies. They are…. unlimited. I predict our association will last far longer than you hoped."

Akihito pouted. "Oh...you're one of those irritating types, aren't you?"

"I've been called worse." Asami smirked.

Asami's men jumped in place as the door opened, revealing Asami and his new demon guard trailing behind him. On the surface, Asami appeared unharmed with his mind intact. Showing no indication of being mauled or traumatized by the newcomer.

Akihito tagged alongside Asami, unashamed at his nakedness. He observed the surrounding area, not bothered at the indistinguishable puddles of dark liquid. His feet slapped against the disgusting floor, touching uncleaned substances that Asami's men had not gotten to clean yet.

Asami's men's eyes gawked at the handsome young man. Leering at his shapely legs and toned ass. It took one look from Asami for his men to avert their eyes. Some even used their hands to block the temptation from their eyes. But some still peeked through their fingers.

Kirishima and Suoh appeared stone-faced. Motioning to the lower underlings to get rid of the evidence of the room before the night ended. All the men rushed inside with cleaning supplies, trash bags and carts to haul out the remaining gore.

Asami ignored the incoming noise from inside of the room as he walked on forward.

Akihito's body became far too tempting, which of course prompted Asami to order. "Kirishima, leave and buy him some clothes."

Before Kirishima responded, Akihito waved a hand over himself, ripped jeans, sneakers, and a tight shirt appeared on his body. "Unnecessary. You forget, I can do magic, Asami."

"So, it seems." Asami amused as Akihito walked in front of the group. His hips swayed about, catching his eye for a brief moment.

Asami kept on leering at Akihito's ass as Kirishima and Suoh flanked Asami. Their hands hovering over their hidden weapons as the four men left the warehouse.

On their car ride back to Asami's apartment, Akihito discreetly observed Asami from the corner of his eyes. The heavy, dark aura was something Akihito knew didn't develop in humans. Well, the humans from the last time he last walked on Earth were bloodthirsty, but not evil.

Unless a demon mated with their contractor to create half demons. It wasn't rare. Akihito met copious amounts of demons who admitted to fucking or being fucked by their master, siring part demon children to release into the world before taking their masters souls.

Akihito thought Asami contained demon blood in his veins. It was wishful thinking, but those golden eyes were unnatural. A beautiful unnatural feature that Akihito loved in a partner. The right amount of gold and orange hues enticed him to display himself to bring forth his inner lust.

From the sneaking glances, Asami returned the same sentiment. His contractor's lust seeped through his pores while his golden eyes locked onto his body.

Akihito liked being appreciated.

His previous lovers didn't express the same sentiment toward him. Then again, Akihito couldn't find it in himself to hold onto feelings of resentment. Most of those demons were shit in the bedroom and in battle.

Connecting eyes with Asami, Akihito waved with a cheeky smile. Asami smirked at him before blowing smoke into the air.

Akihito would play along with this human.

At the end of the contract, Asami's soul belonged to him. The intense darkness added a bit of tang that souls tended to not collect before their deal ended. Most humans thought they were dark, but the soul never expressed those boastful words.

Besides, Akihito wanted to explore the human plane for a significant amount of time. Asami claimed to have power and money to get away with anyone his heart desired. Akihito could enjoy himself in the lap of luxury in between hunting for humans.
