Hello everyone, welcome to my first story. This is a crossover between my 14th favorite anime, My Hero Academia, and favorite video game series, Sonic the Hedgehog. I have seen a few crossovers between the two, but the main inspirations for this story were My Hero Academia: Deku X by Pixel's Fanbook and Dekic X by Mega-Uprising-Hog 15. There will be more explanation at the end, and I have to ask a tiny favor from you all, so please read the end. With that out the way, let's start the story.

Episode 1: Birth of the Fastest

"Men are not born equal. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Someone has something someone else doesn't. Some are born lucky; others are lucky to be born. I learned this lesson at the age of four.

We live in a superhuman society, where more than 80% of the population have abilities known as Quirks. That which was once myth became reality. I however was not one of the lucky 80. However, something happened to me that would change my life before it even began. Something extraordinary."

We cut to an apartment, where we see a young, slim woman with green hair wearing an apron, who just finished cooking dinner. She set the food before calling out to someone.

"Izuku! Dinner's ready!" She called out.

"Coming Mama." A reply came from a room in the back of the apartment. As the room opened, a young boy wearing an All Might-onesie. He had fluffy green hair, bright green eyes, and four symmetrical freckles on each of his cheeks. But the most peculiar thing about this child was the strange glowing green rock held tightly in his hand. This is Izuku Midoriya. That rock was given to me when I was born by my father, Hisashi Midoriya, an archaeologist. He came back with it on the day Izuku was born.

Flashback

"Waaaaaahaah"

As Hisashi came through the door and was met with the sight of his wife, Inko, trying to calm down their new-born son.

Inko turned to his direction. "Oh Hisashi! Thank goodness you're here. I have tried everything to calm him down, but nothing is working. Quick, help me."

As Hisashi put down his things to help his wife, a glowing emerald fell out of his bag. Izuku suddenly stopped crying and noticed the emerald, and then held out his arms while staring at it. Hisashi and Inko both suddenly stopped in shock at the sudden event, before turning around to see what their son was looking at.

"Is it that rock you want Izuku?" Inko asked her baby curiously. Izuku giggled in happiness. She smiled.

"Well, Hisashi." She says as she turns to her husband, giving him a knowing look...

Hisashi looks at the emerald and then his son. He smiles. "It's alright. I was going to give it to you as our anniversary present, but if our son really wants it," Izuku giggled again. "Then it's alright." He exclaims as he picks up the emerald and gives it to his son. Izuku happily took it and hugged it close, instantly relaxing.

It is now Izuku's fourth birthday, and he is super excited not just because it was his birthday, but because it is the day he gets to find out his quirk. He sat down and was about to start eating when his mother called him out

"Now Izuku, where are your manners?"

"Sorry. Itadakimasu!" Izuku starts to quickly eat.

"Izuku, I get that you're excited but slow down. You're eating faster than normal."

It should be noted Izuku always ate fast.

"Okay." Izuku pouted as he ate like normal. Still fast but the normal fast.

When they were done eating and washing the dishes, much to Izuku's complaint, they got in the car and drove to the clinic. Izuku bounced in his seat, excited to find out what his quirk could be.

"Sorry kid, it's never gonna happen." The young boy went as a white as a sheet as his All Might figurine dropped onto the floor.

"Oh no... So you really think there is something wrong then? Most of the other kindergartners in his class have started to show signs already..."

"My records say you're a fourth-generation quirk user. What powers do you and the boy's father have?"

"Nothing too special. I can float small objects, -"

As she said this Midoriya's action figure floated back up into her hand to punctate her point.

"-and my husband breathes fire. They're useful enough, I suppose."

"Izuku should've already manifested one of these quirks or a combination of them both but after viewing his X-rays I don't think he's going to." The doctor said suddenly showing the X-rays footage of a foot.

"You see when superpowers first began appearing, there were many research studies conducted and doctors discovered a link between the bones in a person's foot and their likelihood of developing a quirk. People with powers have only one joint in their pinkie toes. Their bodies have evolved into a more streamlined version of the human form. You can see here Izuku has two joints in his pinkie, like roughly 20 percent of the population these days." Izuku couldn't believe what he was hearing. He didn't know what to say, or if he could say anything.

"Based on the research that's available it's safe to say your son isn't going to develop a quirk."

One year later

It has been almost a year since that fateful day, and his life was miserable. Added on to Izuku's shocked state, Hisashi was on an overseas exploration and couldn't make it back but said he would contact them later that day. He never did. When they tried to contact him, it never went through. They never saw or heard from him again. His school life wasn't better. Once everyone found out he was quirkless, everyone, including his best friend Kacchan, turned on him. They picked on him, called him names, excluded him from playing, and recently he started getting beat up by other kids, especially Kacchan. He had hoped the teachers would do something, but they just ignored him. The world was cruel and unfair to him, until one fateful day.

It is July 15th. Izuku woke up happier than usual, but not as happy as last year. It was his birthday, so he was optimistic today would be better than the past year. He came out of his room and ran into his mother, who wished him a happy birthday. He decided to go to the park where he used to hang out with Kacchan and his friends. He had hoped Kacchan wasn't there or would let him play since it was his birthday. He was brought out of his thoughts; however, he heard a faint cry.

"Ow"

Izuku looked towards the sound and saw a little girl on the ground with Bakugou and his friends standing over her. The girl was short, had purple hair and was wearing a purple skirt and a t-shirt with a guitar logo. Her most defining feature, however, was her earlobes that looked like the ends of a pair of headphones.

"What do you think you're doing here?" Bakugou spat at her.

The girl sits up before answering. "I just wanted to play here, what's wrong with that"

"What's wrong is that we were going to play here and you're in the way!" Bakugou exclaims.

"And you think that gives you the right to push me!"

"I make the rules around here, so I can do whatever I want. Guys, let's teach her what happens when someone defies me." Bakugou punches his palm while igniting an explosion from it as one of the boys there grew wings and the other stretched his fingers. The girl was scared of what would happen.

Izuku, saw the entire interaction, immediately moved into action and went to help the girl, but was too far and couldn't reach her in time.

'If only I were faster, I could reach her.' Izuku thought.

Then suddenly, everything started to slow down. Izuku was confused and looked around. He saw everything as if it was in slow motion. He started to run faster and faster until…

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM

As Bakugou went to strike the girl, and as she closed her eyes and held up her hands to brace herself, he felt a strong wind blow by; so strong he had to cover his eyes - and when he opened them, the girl was gone. He stood there in shock, confused at what just happened.

"Bakugou."

He looked to his left and saw Izuku with his back turned, with the girl in front of him. He was sparkling small amounts of green electricity, and when he turned around his eyes were glowing and had that same electricity flowing through it. The girl opened her eyes and looked and was shocked at the new person. She also noticed she was in a different position than earlier.

Bakugou looked at him for a few seconds, only to go from shocked to annoyed. "Tch. What are you doing here you quirkless Deku?! And what is with all the electricity?"

Izuku didn't answer back. He just stared at him with his hardened gaze.

Bakugou was seething from being ignored. "Fine! If you won't talk, I'll beat the answers out of you." He charged at Izuku with the intent on hitting him.

Only to be knocked back as he felt something hit his right cheek. He stared up only to see Izuku standing over him, looking down on him. Bakugou was shocked, only for it to quickly turn into rage. "How did you do that Deku!" We threw his hand at him, intending on hitting him with an explosion. But when he fired, Izuku was no longer there.

"Aah" "Oof"

Bakugou turned around and saw his lackeys beaten up on the ground, with Izuku standing over them.

"Not all men are born equal. I learned that at the age of four."

Bakugo was angry that this worthless Deku was beating them. He got up and charged at him once more. Izuku turned around, then disappeared. Bakugo stopped.

"You have a lot of nerve Bakugou"

Bakugou turned around and was met with a glaring Izuku. "You take advantage of your power and use it to put down others." Izuku ran at him faster than he could see and pushed him into a tree.

"But at the age of five, a miracle happened."

Izuku gazed at him once more. "But you shouldn't. Strength doesn't give you the right to lord over people. That's what a bully does. And that is what you are, a bully."

"I learned that fate can be just as kind to those born unlucky."

Bakugo regained his bearings and lunged at him, but Izuku quickly got behind him and pulled his underwear over his head.

"Aggh," Bakugou cried as he was taken down.

Izuku looked at his former friend. "But I promise that I will help people. I will use this new power of mine to save people. Because that's what a hero is." Izuku raises his and clenches it, as green sparks form around it, and looks at Bakugou one last time. "Goodbye Bakugou."

Izuku turns and walks towards the girl. She stares at him, shocked at what she just saw. She snaps out of her shock as a hand appears in front of her.

"Are you okay?" I asked, my arm stretched out.

"Y-yes" she stammers out.

I smile. "That's good. Who are you by the way?"

"My name's Kyouka Jiro. My family just moved here."

"Nice to meet you Jiro. I'm Izuku Midoriya."

She got up on her feet and bowed. "Thank you Midoriya. But I got to go." She turns around about to leave.

"Wait!" Izuku called out. She stopped and turned to him.

"What is it?" She asked.

Izuku puts his hands in front of him and looks down. "Do you wanna come over to my house later?" I ask nervously "It's my birthday and I'm having a party, but I have no friends to invite. So do you wanna come?" He asks looking up at the end.

Kyouka thinks about this. "Sure, why not." She says eventually. "You did save me. It's the least I could do. Besides," she walked closer to him. "If you don't have any friends, then I'll be your first."

Izuku beams. "Alright!" He speaks. He quickly leaves and comes back with a piece a piece of paper. "This is my address. Come by at 3:00"

"I will." She says, before they hear a loud honking noise. They turn around and see a car "That's my parents. I got to go. See you later!" She says as she turns and leaves. Izuku grins.

"This is the start of my journey. This is the story of how I became the world's greatest hero, and the fastest thing alive."

Author's Notes: That's the first, and honestly still the shortest chapter I have planned. I might make the others shorter unless it's a multi part, but we'll see. Also, this is the only chapter in Third Person POV only. The rest of the story will switch POVs.

Now to explain some things. 1. Izuku will NOT get One for All. I personally believe he is more than strong enough without it, and I have a future plot point revolving around it. 2. Class 1-A and 1-B will swap some characters. And Mashirao Ojiro will not be here at all. He will be replaced with another character who has a major importance in the story. Finally, someone in the new Class 1-A will get One For All, which is where the favor comes in. I can't decide who will get it, so I will ask you all to submit a review or PM me and the first five characters I'm recommended will be put on a poll where you can then vote for who gets it.
