Author's Note: I wanted to write a Sonic fanfiction about Sonic characters in high school with a little slice of life and romance. So I wrote a bunch of Sonic characters names on small pieces of paper and put them all in a hat. I shook the hat a couple times and pulled out two names. Tails and Sally... Yeah... let's see how this'll turn out...

SEASON 1 EPISODE 1
WELCOME TO MOBOTROPOLIS HIGH (PART 1)
-Welcome to the fanfiction world of Sonic the hedgehog. A world unique and far different from what you know from the SEGA games and official publications. Where our focus is on a two-tailed fox named Miles "Tails" Prower.-
- Mobotropolis-
It was a hot summer day in Mobotropolis. The bustling city had tall skyscrapers that towered over the city, many people were walking to their destinations, and many cars were in traffic honking and beeping for the cars to move. In a suburban neighborhood in the outskirts of the city was a two-tailed fox seen running, wearing a red and white striped t-shirt with matching swimming trunks, sandals, and holding a pool skimmer net.
"I'm late! I'm late!" panicked Tails. "Sally's gonna kill me!" Tails had volunteered to be Sally's pool boy at her pool party and he was running late. Tails saw the large mansion and had a sigh of relief, he was almost there. He finally made it to the Acorn's residence and knocked on the front door.
"Just a second!" a feminine voice could be heard from inside the mansion. The door opened and it was none other than Sally Acorn. "Oh! Tails! I'm glad you made it!" said the chipmunk.
Tails eyes widened and his jaws dropped. Sally looked hot. She had short red hair with long bangs in the front and she was wearing a white mesh shirt with a pink two-pieced bikini underneath. He noticed how it complemented her shapely figure. He began to blush. Sally then gave him a big hug.
"I haven't seen you in AGES!" Tails' heart started thumping and his face was becoming red. Sally broke the hug. "Come, the backyard is this way!" she motioned Tails to follow her. Tails just stood there frozen. Face still red and his mouth and eyes were still wide open. Tails shook it off and ran after Sally.
"Hey wait up Sal!"
Tails caught up to Sally in her big mansion and they made it to the back door. The back door was a huge glass sliding door with huge glass windows to the side. Tails saw a lot of people in the backyard. Sonic, Knuckles, many hot babes in the pool and around the patio. Some people were jumping off the diving board and diving into the pool.
"Alright Tails. Just relax and have fun, but if you see any trash in the pool just scoop it up and throw it away." said Sally. Tails tried to focus on her face but his eyes kept slowly drifting down to her body. "If you get too hot you can get some water, soda, or lemonade from my butlers who are passing drinks around. If you have any trouble get me or one of my butlers."
Tails snapped back to reality. "Wait... if you have butlers- why aren't they cleaning the pools?" asked the confused fox.
Sally walked off towards the pool. Tails looked at Sally as she was sashaying. Her hips moving left and right, side-to-side. Tails became mesmerized at her movements. She walked over to a spot and sat on the edge of the pool with other females and starting talking and giggling with them. Tails decided to walk around and pick up trash around and within the pool.
- Sometime Later-
Tails was sweating from picking up all the trash. "WHEW!" he wiped the sweat underneath his bangs off his forehead. "Seems like nobody believes in trashcans around here. I'm gonna take a break and drink some lemonade." he placed his skimmer net to the side and walked off, looking around for one of Sally's butlers for some lemonade.
He looked around and saw Sally, standing at the edge of the pool and staring at him seductively with a glass of lemonade in her right hand, as she beckoned him to come over with her index finger with her left hand. Tails looked around and pointed to himself just to make sure she was talking about him. She nodded 'yes' and Tails walked towards her. The closer he walked towards her the more nervous he got. His legs began to wobble and his heart began to pound. He was sweating even more and almost lost his balance but he kept control and successfully made it in front of her.
"H-hey Sal. You n-needed m-me?" he stuttered.
"Yes I do. I wanted to reward you for being such a nice hardworking man." she fluttered her eyelids and held the drink out to Tails.
"Ha ha!" he laughed as he rubbed the back of his head with one hand. "It was nothing really. I just wanted to help a friend in need." he reaches for the lemonade but Sally slowly pulls it back from him. "Wha-...?" Tails has a confused look on his face.
The red haired chipmunk looks him in the eye. "But first, you must kiss me."
Tails starts to blush. "Whaaa-! B-but wh-what about Sonic?" Tails starts to shake.
Sally places her hand on his. "Sonic is nothing compared to you. He may be the hero, but he's not even remotely close to the hard working man that you are. Without you, Sonic would have never made it this far." she leans forward and whispers to his ear. "And I love it how you are such a talented genius, Miles." this made Tails' tails sprung stiff and blush even harder, he was smiling so hard. Sally leans away and looks Tails in the eye seductively. "Here's your reward." She closes her eyes and pucker her lips.
Tails closes his eyes and does the same but is trembling due to how nervous he is. Sally slowly leans forward and Tails does the same. Their faces are close to each other's and everyone at the pool party stopped whatever they were doing and looks at the two as they're about to kiss.
Sonic looks in shock. "Sally! What're you're doing?!"
'Just ignore him Miles and kiss me.' she thought to herself.
'Sorry Sonic. You snooze you lose.' Tails thought to himself. He took a small step forward, trying to speed up the process.
Their lips were about to contact until Tails slipped forward and fell into the pool.
-SPLOOSH!-
Tails fell into the pool. He immediatley surface and gasped for air. Sally looks at him in shock as she covered her mouth with her left hand. All eyes was on Tails. Sonic has his arms crossed smirking as he shook his head. Knuckles tries hard not to laugh.
"HEY EVERYONE! LOOK! MILES "TAILS" PROWER FELL INTO THE POOL TRYING TO KISS SALLY ACORN!" shouted Eggman as he was sitting on a floaty version of his Egg Mobile. He points and bursts out laughing and everyone else followed suit.
Everyone was laughing at Tails. Tails gets out of the pool and flies away embarrassed. Sally tries to stop him but it's too late. Tails flies away covering his ears but it doesn't work, he still hears the laughter and he screams.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!"
-*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*-
Blared Tails' alarm clock. He shoots up and gasps as he looked alarmed. He starts panting and began to sweat, but he quickly snapped to reality as he found out it was a dream and pressed the off button on his alarm clock.
"Whew! It was just another dream..." a sigh of relief escaped the fox as he stretches and yawn. "*Yawns* I keep having the same dream for months." said the fox. The dreams always be pleasant... except for the last part..." he got out of bed and heads to his bathroom. "Enough of that. It's time for me to shower."
-Soon-
The yellow fox walks out his bathroom, fully refreshed with some set of clothes on. He wore a sky blue jacket zipped up with a gold ring as part of the zipper, white gloves, a red backpack, green baggy cargo pants, and his red and white sneakers. He walked out his room and headed downstairs towards the kitchen.
"Morning mom and dad!" he said as he walked in the kitchen.
"Morning champ!" said Tails' dad as his face was covered by the newspaper he was reading.
"Good morning Miles." said Tails' mom. "Are you ready for your first day of high school?" she starts to tear up. "You're not our little boy anymore. *Sniffs* They grow up so fast." she wipes a tear from one of her eye.
Tails is now 14 years old. He was no longer the 8 year old fox that everyone knew and loved. He is now a teenager and he is slightly taller and his bangs were a little longer. Not long enough to be noticeable. He was now entering the 9th grade at Mobotropolis High. One- if not THE best school in Mobotropolis and all of the Acorn territory.
"There there mom, don't cry." he rubs her back. "I'm ready to tackle high school, go to college, and become the best inventor the world has ever seen!" he looks up optimistically.
"*Laughs* That's my boy!" laughed Tails' dad as his face was still covered by the newspaper.
Tails' mom hands him a brown lunch bag. "You can do it, son." she gave him a tearful smile.
Tails takes the lunch bag and gives his mom a kiss on the cheek and runs out the kitchen. "Bye mom! Bye dad!" he runs towards the front door and on the way out he pets T-pup who is in "sleep-mode" in a charging station that looks like a dog bed. "See ya after school T-pup!" T-pup just continues to "sleep" as Tails runs out the door, closing it behind him. The yellow kitsune then takes off flying.
'Wow. I can't believe that this will be my first year in high school. I'll be able to hang out with my friends again. Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, and... Sally.' Tails starts blushing. 'I always had a crush on Sal. Ever since we were young. I mean come on! She's pretty, sweet, smart, and mature for her age.' Tails laughed and smiled about the last part. 'I wish that I could tell her how I feel but I don't think she likes guys like me. She probably sees me as a little boy or a younger brother. And she always be dating Sonic on and off.' Tails stops smiling. 'Those recurring dreams are torture! It always sets me up. Sally looked so beautiful in that dream. Sonic is one lucky hedgehog, sometimes I envy him. I wish I was him. *Sighs* Sally is out of my league.' Tails was in deep thought until he saw Mobotropolis High from below. He flies down and lands on school grounds.
Mobotropolis High was huge. A lot of humans and mobians were there, waiting for the school doors to open. Tails walked around looking for familiar faces, he kept looking around until he saw Sonic. Sonic looked pretty much the same. Except he was wearing a red jacket with white stripes that had a emblem that resembles the emblems from the Sonic games as a zipper, a t-shirt, white gloves, dark blue baggy pants, and red and white SOAP shoes that match his jacket.
"Hey! Sonic!" waved Tails as he ran over to him.
"Sup bro!" he high fived Tails. "Welcome to the next level! Think you can handle high school?"
"Yeah!" Tails clenched his fists in determination as his eyes gleamed. "C'mon Sonic, we fought Eggman for years. High school should be nothing!"
"Heh. That's the spirit little bro." Sonic winked as he rubbed under his nose with his index finger. "Speaking of Eggman. We haven't seen or heard from him ever since we kicked his butt last year."
"I don't know. Maybe he's probably coming up with another plan to take over the world, you know how Eggman is. Or maybe he kicked the bucket." Tails shrugged his shoulders.
"I hope not. If that's the case, I'm going to miss kicking his butt each and every time."
"Well... who knows. There might be another bad guy around the corner if Eggman dies."
"Yeah..." replied Sonic as he rubbed his quills on his head.
"YO! WHADDUP SONIC AND TAILS!" a loud voice was heard as Sonic and Tails turned their heads towards it's direction.
"Knuckles!" shouted an excited Tails.
"Yo Knux!" Sonic waved up a peace sign.
Knuckles wore a rastacap on his head with his dreads hanging from the sides, a silver chain that was around his neck, a black t-shirt, white gloves with two spikes on each glove, brown cargo pants that sagged which exposed his green boxers, and his typical lego looking sneakers with the colors that matches his rastacap.
Knuckles gave Sonic a fist bump. "How was your summer, mon?" he asked Sonic as he was trying to sound Jamaican.
"Eh. Boring without Eggman... I was waiting for him to cause trouble somewhere in the world. All summer I just hanged out with Sally. Going shopping with her, taking her to get her hair done, eating out, you know, boring stuff." said the unenthusiastic blue hedgehog.
Tails looked at Sonic funny. 'You must not know how lucky you are...'
"How bout you little bro?" Knuckles asked Tails.
Tails snapped out of it. "Oh! Umm... I just spent all summer in my garage upgrading the Tornado. I've installed a new engine and thrusters in her and she's faster then ever. Just trying to get her ready next time Eggman shows up, you know... nerd stuff." Tails twiddles with his fingers. "How about you Knuckles?"
"Well..." he looked up rubbing his chin as he was thinking. "I just hanged out on Angel Island with my girl Julie-Su. We traveled all over the world thanks to Angel Island floating around. We traveled to the United Federation, Spagonia, Adabat, Chun-nan, and Shamar. I hunted for a lot of treasures in Shamar. I enjoyed myself at the event they had with the belly dancers. There was this one chick with purple hair named Shantae, she was cool and we hanged out. She does these belly dances where she transforms into all kinds of things. She can turn into a monkey, a spider, and like- she even turned into a bat like Rouge!" Knuckles was getting hyped just talking about it.
Sonic and Tails looked at each other confused then looked back at Knuckles.
"Man I wish I could of got her number or social medias. She was hot! I'll trade Julie-Su for her. A boy can dream. *Sighs*" Knuckles sighed dreamily, but it was short-lived because he got smacked in the back of the head by someone's hand.
"Boy whatchu talking about?" asked a angry pink echidna. It was none other than Julie-Su.
Julie-Su was a pink echidna who wore a dark pink rastacap with light pink stripes while her dreads hanged from the side and her lavender bangs sticking out front from underneath it, a black choker, a teal colored tank top, white gloves, black leather pants, and white air force 1's.
"Ow! Nothing girl!" said Knuckles as he was rubbing the back of his head.
Sonic waved. "Yo Jay-S! Long time no see."
"Hey Sonic! How you and Sally doing?" she asked.
"Eh. Typical. Just shopping and other boring things." he shrugged. "How bout you? You kept Knux in line?"
"Yeah. He tried flirting with this purple hair girl in Shamar but I fixed that real quick. Had to give him a couple of knuckle sandwiches in order for him to stop talking to her." Julie-Su held her right fist up.
"That knuckles sandwich tasted painful." said a sad Knuckles while tears were streaming down his face.
"Jeez Knux." Sonic points at Knuckles. "You got beat by a girl heh heh!"
"Shut up! At least we smashed!"
"Whoa what?! That's rad Knux" Sonic high fives Knuckles. Sonic closes his eyes and scratches his head. "I'm trying to smash Sally but she says she wants to take it slow." he shrugs.
"Yeah. Julie's bad at it. She was Peach and I beat her with Pichu of all characters!" Knuckles eyes gleamed.
Julie-Su gets mad. "Hey! You know I don't play video games much! Plus, I had better things to do, like having a life." she crossed her arms.
Sonic rubs his quills. "... Oh... You meant THAT kind of smash."
Julie-Su walked up to Tails and bent down towards him. "How bout you Tails? How was your summer?"
Tails could see her cleavage so he looked away trying hard not to look down, he rubbed the back of his head and was struggling to find words. "Oh! Umm... haha... I just um... worked on the Tornado at home." Tails' eyes accidentally looked down at her cleavage. "Ah! Um..." he close his eyes shut, blushing hard. "Yeah! Just Tornado mods!"
"Oh that's nice." she stands straight up. "You'll show us when you're done?" she puts one hand on her hip.
"Umm... Yeah yeah yeah! Ha ha ha!" laughed the nervous kitsune. Tails then changed the subject. "Hey I got a question. While you and Knuckles are going to school here what about Angel Island? Do y'all just let it float away?"
The pink echidna folded her arms and looked back at Knuckles. "Knucklehead over here pulled the Master Emerald out of the altar, causing Angel Island to fall near Mobotropolis' coastline."
"Knuckles you really did that?" asked Tails in shock.
Knuckles pulls out the Master Emerald from his back pocket and held it out. It was in it's miniature form. "Yeah. It's right here. Nobody's gonna steal it on my watch and Angel Island is nearby so it's all good. Plus, the Master Emerald can learn with me at school." he closes his eyes and smiles while doing a heroic pose like what he did was good.
Sonic chuckled. "Heh. Imagine if you took the Master Emerald off the alter while Angel Island was on top of the city..."
"You know what...?" Knuckles was thinking. He then got a idea. "I'll try that next time!"
Sonic pulled Knuckles towards him, both their noses against each other's. "Are you crazy?! Don't do that!"
"Why not?" Knuckles asked smiling.
"Because many lives will be lost due to your incompetence."
"Incompetence? Is that a item?"
"WHAT?! Oh my God! You don't know what that means?!"
"Is it a food? How does it taste?"
"HOW DID YOU MAKE IT TO HIGH SCHOOL?!"
"I DON'T KNOW! WHY ARE WE YELLING?!"
Tails and Julie-Su just look at Sonic and Knuckles they were arguing. They then looked at each other and shrugged. Then Sally is seen walking and talking with Bunnie.
Julie-Su waved. "Hey girls! Over here!" this caught their attention then they came over to where Julie-Su and Tails was.
Sally had long red hair with her typical huge bangs, she wore a long sleeved pink shirt with white patterns around the collar area, white pants, and blue and white sneakers. Bunnie was a golden rabbit that had short shoulder-length gold blonde hair that blended with the color of her fur, she wore a red polka-dot sleeveless shirt that was tied up which exposed her midriff with a navel piercing, denim cutoff shorts in the style of Daisy Dukes, and brown cowgirl boots.
"Julie!" Sally hugged Julie-Su. "Tails!" she gives Tails a huge hug which causes him to blush.
"H-hi Sal." said the blushing fox.
Sally breaks the hug and presents Bunnie to Tails. "Tails. This is my friend Bunnie. Bunnie, this is Miles. But we call him Tails because y'know, he has two tails."
Tails looks at the fully organic rabbit and stares in awe at her body as his mouth opens wide. The rabbit walks towards him and squats down to his level and she pinches his cheeks. "Oh mah stars! Aren't you the cutest thang ah ever laid mah eyes on." she looks at Sally while still pinching Tails' cheeks. "Sal, this lil feller's so adorable!"
"Yeah he sure is." agreed Sally. Tails' heart skipped a beat when he heard what Sally said.
"Ha ha... Nice to meet you." Tails said to Bunnie as he blushed. Tails looked over to Sally who which he caught staring at him. She quickly notice that Tails caught her and she quickly looks away blushing. Then, the school doors opened and the intercoms around the school beeped.
"ALL STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE AUDITORIUM! I REPEAT! ALL STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE AUDITORIUM!" the intercom beeped again and all students were entering the school building.
Sonic and Knuckles stopped arguing and looked around seeing all the students walking.
Knuckles looked back, seeing everyone moving. "Well it looks like it's time for us to go. We'll settle this later Sonic, c'mon shawty let's bounce." Knuckles put his arm around Julie-Su.
"Ta-ta. See y'all in school. Nice meeting you Tails." Julie-Su waved and walked off with Knuckles.
"Heh. Fine by me Knux. You know I always win." smirked the blue hedgehog.
"Well Sally-gurl, see ya inside. Ah hope we get the same teachers." Bunnie walked off and looked back at Tails. "Bye-bye cutie." she waved at Tails and walked into the crowd.
Tails walked up to Sally. "Um... Sal-..." he was interrupted by Sonic who unknowingly stepped in front of him.
"C'mon Sal. Let's go in and see what classes we'll get. See ya Tails!" Sonic picked Sally up and ran in the school.
"Peachy..." said the annoyed fox. He tried to follow them into the building but Sonic was too fast and ran within the crowd. Tails was now in the lobby and was looking around. He was in the crowd and noticed that everyone was going into multiple doors. that had huge signs that read "AUDITORIUM" above the doors. Tails walked in with the crowd and saw that the auditorium was crowded. He looked around for a seat for a couple of minutes, then he found one it was all the way in the back. He sat down and saw that the stage towards the front had looked tiny from where he was at. "Jeez, how can people see from here?" he asked himself as he squinted.
"Well let me tell you something. I don't know, but these seats are mighty comfty." said a green woodpecker as he was bouncing up and down on the seat. He looked at the ring that was on Tails' zipper and his eyes gleamed. "OOOH SHIIIIINYYYYY..." he tried grabbing it. "OOH GIMMIE GIMMIE!" he lunged at Tails trying to get the ring.
"WHAA- Chill out man!" panicked the fox as he pushed the woodpecker's head back.
The green woodpecker came back to his senses and sat back down. "Heh heh. Whoopsie!" he laughed and gave Tails jazz hands. "Sorry about that... I have a problem. When I see shiny things, I kinda lose control." he looked down ashamed as he twiddled his thumbs.
"Ha ha! It's fine. You must be a kleptomaniac."
"Whazzat?" he asked.
Tails rubbed the back of his head thinking. "Well... it's a impulse control disorder that you have that makes it hard for you not to steal things."
The green woodpecker looked at him and blinked twice.
Tails sighed. "It means that you can't control yourself when you see things that you want."
"WHAT?! I AM GREAT AT CONTROLLING MY IMPULSES!" he shouted as he grabbed Tails and smoosh his face against his, staring him in his eyes.
"But... I just said something about impulse control."
He let Tails go and sat back down. "Oh..." He said. "Well anyway- the name's Bean." he smiled and held his hand out for a handshake.
Bean was a green woodpecker who wore a red neckerchief around his neck, a orange collared shirt, a grey long-sleeved undershirt that sleeves are exposed, white gloves, khaki pants, and red NIKE AIR MAX sneakers.
"Uuuh... sure. My name is Miles but my friends calls me Tails." he shook Bean's hand.
"Hee-hee... Tails. That's rich. Cuz y'know, you got two tails!" he laughed and slapped his knee.
"Ha ha..." Tails awkwardly laughed. "So are you from here?" he asked.
"Nah. This is my first day here. I ran away and decided to move to Mobotropolis because I heard that the school is really good here." he said as he casually looked at his nails which was underneath his gloves.
"That's terrible! How long have you been away from home?" asked the concerned kitsune.
"Eeeeh... A couple of months." he was now filing his gloves as if he was filing his nails.
"Your family must be worried sick about you! You have to go back home!" Tails panicked.
"Nah. They some weirdos. All we do is live in this giant flying metal thingy and do drills everyday. School lessons here and there, but not like the regular schools. My grandfather was the leader of the whole thing. You know, generational stuff. Then I had this cousin of mines who was jealous and blah blah blah fights and blah blah blah." he was now wearing a robe and a towel on his head painting his gloves as if he was painting his fingernails.
"What the..." Tails looked at Bean confused.
"So I got bored and met these three weirdos who were my grandfather's employees. They had these cool Extreme Gears, I think they called themselves the um..." he closed his eyes and was snapping his fingers trying to remember. "The Babyland Rages? I dunno, not important. They wanted to leave and start their own group and wanted me to join. So I did and they gave me this cool Extreme Gear." he was now blow-drying his "hair" and Tails just stared at him in confusion.
"..." Tails just stared with a blank face.
"We then had plans of overthrowing my grandfather, something-something about freedom. But as we was making plans and getting equipment for the heist I just got bored and left." Bean was now wearing long lashes with lipstick while taking selfies while doing the duck face. "So as I was flying around on my Extreme Gear I saw this tall shiny building. I then flew there and crashed my Extreme Gear. Don't know how I survived but I shouldn't be surprised when I've been dealing with explosions all my life." he then looks normal and smiles at Tails. "And I've been here eeeever since."
Tails was trying to process this. "What... just happened?" he asked himself as he closed his eyes and massaging his temples.
Then the curtains opened on the stage of the auditorium. A aqua green hedgehog wearing a red business suit with a white undershirt, white gloves that is held together by yellow cuff rings, red pants with a white stripe on each leg, with matching red high heels. She had long quills with blue highlighted tips that fall behind her head resembling long hair, and two smaller curved quills on her forehead which resembled bangs.
Bean leaned forward to on his seat. "OOH! She's fine!" the green woodpecker had heart in his eyes and his tongue was sticking out.
The female hedgehog walked up to the lone microphone that was standing on the stage. She tapped the microphone a couple of times and it let out a high pitched feedback. She leaned forward to speak into the mic. "Testing testing 1-2-3." everyone in the auditorium got quiet and all eyes were on her. "Good morning my fellow students, I am your principal Ms. Breezie." she then let out a sadistic evil smile at the viewers. "And welcome to Mobotropolis High."
