Chapter 1: Here we are in the Future
At the House.
Steven was in his room, getting dressed as the last thing he put on was his jacket. He was much older now. He was now 16 and stood as tall as Lapis and up to Pearl's shoulders. He wore a black shirt with a star and a pink jacket. He went down stairs to the bathroom to fix his hair, then he heard a knock at his door.
He opens it up and it's Connie now 15. She stood almost as tall as Steven. Her hair was a little longer than before but not as long as her old hairstlye. She wore a orange shirt with white shorts and sneakers. Strapped to her back was her sword.
Steven: Hey Connie.
Connie: Hi Steven.
She went up to hug him and the two kissed.
Steven: You ready to go?
Connie: Uh yeah. Finally got the time to hang out after dealing with college prep.
Steven: But aren't you a bit early to apply?
Connie: It doesn't hurt to start early does it?
Steven: ( chuckles) No it doesn't.
They head outside and got into his car and drove off to their destination.
Steven: ( narrating in his mind) Life is a little different these days. It's been two years since the Gara Droids attacked and finally defeated Gien. The survivors retreated, but they never came back. The war is finally over and the Earth is officially an independent planet. We're all safe to explore our dreams. Lars opened up his own little pastry shop and it's got a cute little space gimmick going on. Sadie's been touring with the suspects promoting their new album with my dad being their manager. And believe it or not, Ronaldo puplished his novel " Close Encounters with the Robotmen" and became a best seller. He's become rich and famous for it that he got a mansion, franchised the Beach Citywalk Fries and is currently negotiating for the film rights. And of course Connie and I have been dating for 6 months now. With all the cured gems, we had to make a new home for them. So Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Bismuth and I thought up a town for them.
Finally they arrived. It was a gated town full of different colored buildings and in the center appeared to be a watch tower with a whirely bird like structure on top.
Connie: Is this Little Homeworld?
Steven: Yup.
Connie: It's looks great.
Steven: You've only seen the outside. Wait till we get in.
Steven parked the car inside. They were walking through the town. All the formerly corrupted gems were there, now working together in constructing the town. They met up with Garnet and Pearl, looking over the blueprints so far.
Steven: Hey guys.
Pearl: Oh Steven, Connie. Glad you can make it. How goes preparation for college?
Connie: It's been time consuming, but I think I can take a break on it for now.
Steven: Wow, Little Homeworld sure is growing fast.
Garnet: It sure is.
Steven: Has anyone seen Amethyst?
Then they heard a voice. They turned and saw Acha and Kocha directing Amethyst on the crane holding what appears to be warp pad.
Acha: A little more to the left.
Amethyst: Here?
Acha: No, no not your left, I meant mine.
Amethyst: Here then?
Kocha: Just a little more and...there.
Acha: Perfect right here.
Amethyst: Alright! Yo Biz! Bring it down.
Amethyst yelled out to Bismuth who was operating the crane.
Bismuth: Got it.
Bismuth brought it down, now having the warp pad to Little Homeworld installed.
Steven: Hey guys.
Amethyst: Yo dude, over here.
Steven ran up to Amethyst as they did their handshake
Steven and Amethyst: Pew! Pew! One, two, three, hup!
Amethyst: What do you think, pretty cool huh?
Steven: Yeah it is.
Acha: Isn't this great guys. We're building a town made for us.
Amethyst: I know right, sure wish I had this when I first emerged.
Acha: Kocha and I have made our own house here.
Kocha: Let me tell you, it beats living inside Big Doughnut.
Steven: You guys didn't have to live in there. You could have stayed at my house.
Kocha: But we didn't want to be burden and mooch off you.
Acha: Yeah that would have been rude.
Then Bismuth, Peridot, Lapis Pumpkin and Charlie approaches them.
Bismuth: Steven you just made it. We just installed the new warp.
Steven: I know, I witnessed it myself.
Peridot: Which means Little Homeworld is 83.7% complete.
Lapis: Only 83.7%? You sure about that?
Peridot: Of course Lapis. The tablet never lies.
Steven: Hey so where's Volleyball?
Pearl: She's in the middle of setting up the greenhouse. She thought when we start the school, we should have a gardening class.
Connie: School?
Garnet: Once this is done, we're going to expand the idea of Little Homeschool to them. We'll teach them about Earth, how to live in it and coexisting with humans.
Connie: Oh wow, that's great. They must be excited about it.
Steven: They are. ( frowns) Except Revenger.
Connie: Oh, where's he been?
Steven: Still living in the woods. Ever since we started this, he refuses to cooperate and left the group.
Lapis: He hardly visits or calls nowadays.
Garnet: He's just trying to adapt to this change. Have you been seeing him?
Steven: Actually I was planning on checking on him today.
Garnet: I think you should. It's good to check on him now and then.
Steven: Right, see you guys near the light house?
Pearl: Of course.
Amethyst: Sure thing man. We start our break in an hour.
Bismuth: We'll cover you guys on that.
Later.
Steven and Connie were walking in the woods trying to find Revenger.
Connie: Jeez, does he really live here?
Steven: He does, it's crazy.
Soon they arrived what appeared to be a rock fort like cave. There boulders and piles of rocks everywhere.
Connie: Is this..
Steven: Yes it is. Hey Revenger! Are you home?
Coming out of the cave was Revenger.
Revenger: I thought I told you kids to get off...oh it's you Steven. And Connie, hello.
Connie: Hi.
Steven: Hey so...how you been?
Revenger: Fine I guess.
Steven: I just came to check on you and hey guess what, Little Homeworld is almost done.
Revenger: That's...that's very nice.
Revenger heads to his large rock pile.
Steven: Hey, what's this rock pile?
Revenger: Target practice.
Revenger throws one of the large rocks up in the air. He shoots it first with his shoulder cannon, breaking it into a bunch of smaller rocks. They were still in the air about to fall until he shot each one of them with his arm cannon, turning it into dust.
Connie: Wow, nice shot.
Revenger: Hmmm, thanks it took me a while to master that.
Steven: Oh ok, for a moment I thought you were getting into art. But hey once Little Homeworld is done, I can help you get a new place and...
Revenger: No.
Steven frowns as he continues to speak.
Revenger: We've gone over this Steven.
Steven: Come on Revenger. I just want you to live a better life. You don't have to live like this.
Revenger: This is how I want to live.
Steven: Why?
Revenger: I told you, I don't feel comfortable living with all those gems.
Connie: Why is that?
Revenger: Because the first thing I did before coming to this planet, I shattered gems that were in my way.
Steven: Yes, but you didn't know better at the time.
Revenger: Still, It took a while for me to be comfortable around you guys.
Steven: But you can do it again if you moved to Little Homeworld.
Revenger: I don't know any of them.
Steven: You didn't know us either. You just guessed that we were sent by the Diamonds. Can't you just give it a chance. I mean with the war over, we can start a new life.
Revenger: Over? Ha, the war is not over yet.
Steven: What do you mean?
Revenger: Have you forgotten that half of the Gara Droids are still alive? And Viggo, Huntress and Snaptrap are still out there? After killing Gien, they're bound to come back for revenge.
Steven: It's been two years since they last attacked. They most likely gave up.
Revenger: What if they didn't? With the uncorrupted gems back, we should make preparations for war.
Steven: The war is over Revenger. Even if they do comeback, they're outnumbered and they saw what we did to Gien. They have nothing left to fight us with. There's no one left to fight.
Revenger: There's always someone to fight, just not now.
Steven: Revenger, understand that we're trying to keep the Earth safe. Now that we did and cured corruption, this is our chance to finally live happily ever after. Isn't that what you want to?
Revenger didn't answer him and looked away.
Steven: ( sighs) I'll check on you again later. I just hope you get it. See you later Revenger.
Revenger didn't look at him as Steven left but before Connie followed, she approached Revenger and placed her hand on his back. Revenger turned to her.
Connie: Just think about it okay. I can tell by your expression there's more, isn't there?
Revenger: There is.
Connie: Why didn't you say?
Revenger: Just didn't.
Connie: You want to tell me?
Revengre: I'd rather not right now.
Connie: Okay I won't force you to do anything. But the sooner you do, the better you'll feel.
Revenger: Sure, thanks by the way.
Connie: ( nods) Of course.
Connie leaves and follows Steven.
Later.
Steven and Connie were with Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl. They were lying on the grass under the warm sun. Steven laid on his back as Connie layed on his chest as he wrapped her arms around her.
Steven: I just want everything to stay exactly like this and never change.
Pearl: Agreed.
Amethyst: Here, here.
Connie: You said it.
Steven: How's the future look Garnet? Do we all stay like this forever?
Garnet smiled at first adjusting her shades, but then a frown formed on her face.
Garnet: No.
Steven looked at her confused until it began to wind. They looked up and they couldn't believe it, but he sky looked like it was cracking. Then it ripped open showing a black and white hypnotic portal. They stood up trying to stay on the ground.
Connie: Steven! What's going on?
Steven: I don't know, but hold on to me!
Then out of the portal they saw what appeared to be a small white orb flying out. Following behind was a pink orb. The two orbs clashed at each other until the white one flew off as the pink chased after it. But one more orb came out, an orange one. But it didn't chase the other two, it just landed straight down to Beach City, crashing and exploding. After that portal began to close up and all the cracks in the sky healed itself. The wind stopped and everything went back to normal. As if nothing happened. Steven and the others just stood there, unable to figure this out.
Amethyst: Okay seriously, what was that? We were just chilling here and all of the sudden he sky just opens up like that.
Pearl: I think we should worry on what those orbs were.
Steven: Well one of them just landed in town. Is this...is this the Gara Droids?
Garnet: I don't know. This was completely unexpected even for me. But let's head down and see what landed.
The group ran to the town to see what was that orange orb that landed.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Finally I can begin the movie and tell my version of it. I'm excited since I thought the film was okay, but nothing too special and add a bit more plot into this. Were you expecting the whole injector thing? Fooled you huh? I'm not sure if I'll have any of the songs here, but I'll see if I can fit a few of them since it might be needed for the plot. But I want to do here this time is try and make Connie a major character and after watching future it gave me the idea on what else I can do with Revenger and as you saw, he lives alone like Jasper.
