A black haired boy with blue eyes stared at a particular magic circle on the ground. Beside him were two others, one man with light orange hair, and another pink haired girl.
"ARGH DAMN IT" he yelled.
"Calm down senpai!" said the pink haired girl.
"Mashu is right Ritsuka, you need to calm down." said the light orange haired man.
The black haired boy, Ritsuka Fujimaru, looked at them, his eyes still full of tears, with dark bags under his eyes.
"I spent soooooo long gathering all those quartz… and now I'm down to my last 3… without summoning a SINGLE SERVANT! I have EVERY RIGHT TO BE UPSET AND ANGRY RIGHT NOW!" he yelled, his voice full of anguish.
"It c-could be worse senpai…"
"DEFINE WORSE!"
"Ritsuka, that is enough, you are scaring Mashu." stated the light orange haired man. His name was Romani Archaman, the current acting director of Chaldea.
Ritsuka turned around, immediately eyeing the pinked haired girl, Mashu, who was already shaking in both fear and uncertainty. This wasn't the first time Ritsuka had become upset after a summoning ritual gone wrong, but this was certainly one of if not his most violent outburst yet.
"Sorry Mashu…" Ritsuka apologized. "I may have gotten carried away…"
"Yea, you did." stated Romani.
"Oh shut up Romani." countered d Ritsuka.
"U-um, it's ok, Senpai…" murmured Mashu, unsure if Ritsuka had actually heard her.
"Thanks Mashu, I really appreciate it, sorry for the trouble." said Ritsuka while hugging her, before giving her a wide smile. Mashu blushed at the sight.
Ritsuka then turned right around, and tried to be positive.
"Alright, I have one more summon available to me, hopefully a servant comes out. Please… I don't want all this effort to go to waste…"
Little did he know, his next summon would change many fates, as well as Chaldea's current situation. In fact, his next summon would be known as the "Chaos Creator" in the future, but he preferred to call himself "Newbie"...
