Preface: Hello, again! This is it: the sequel to Minecraft Maniacs RPG! I planned on uploading this on Monday, since it was my birthday, but real life got in the way. Oh well. Before we start, I want to get a few things straight: first, I don't anticipate this being as long as RPG. Probably a little over half of its length. Second, while this story will still be split into several mini-stories and arcs, there won't be any "sagas" this time around. If Minecraft Maniacs RPG was the theatrical movie, consider this the direct-to-video sequel. I don't plan on making the storytelling quality take a nosedive, though, don't worry. Lastly, if you haven't read RPG but don't feel like sifting through all sixty chapters, the sub-story Minecraft Maniacs: The Mini-Game Tournament is a good jumping-on point, and this prologue serves as a mini-recap. Almost two years had passed since the terrors of King Doppel and his assistant Perinton Pig. During that time, the gangermen had waged war against players of Minecraft and denizens across the multiverse as their leaders tried to take it for themselves. But now that the nightmare had finished, the planet had prospered thanks to two traitors to Doppel's cause.

Under the wise leadership of Andy and Mark, Perinton's former assistants, the gangermen entered a time of peace with the players. Not a single sighting occurred since then, with the gangermen going about their business with no one to bother them, not even a mob like zombies or creepers.

Right now, however, Andy and Mark were preparing a very important visit. About six months prior, the two received a visit from an allay who had been sent to warn them of an oncoming disaster. Listening to the allay's words, the two gangermen had delivered keys to the players that stopped Doppel, and now that the new threat is focusing on the Minecraft world, it was time for action.

"Alright, do we have everything prepared?" Andy asked his partner. The two had just finished updating their files on the players they called the Minecraft Maniacs.

"Let's see…file, scarves…yeah, I think that's all we need!" said Mark, nodding. The two turned around and watched as their visitor floated in from the window.

"Ah, hello, hello!" said the allay, adjusting her tiara. She was Balancia, a guardian of sorts of the multiverse that was brought into existence after the event that came to be known as the Mergepocalypse. "It's wonderful to see you again!"

"You too, Balancia," said Andy with a nod. "We've just finished our account on the players you're looking for." He turned to Mark, who plugged the USB stick into the dispenser nearby. The computer screen in front of the three brought up a page with all the information Balancia would need.

"Hmm…this is a lot of information," the allay said. "No matter! I'll study it quickly!" Using her unique powers, Balancia was able to pick up the information inside within a minute. She read about Danny, Liam, and Kevin, the three players who risked their lives for the multiverse; Pork Chop and the rabborgs, the players' faithful companions; the Chicken Blade, the special dispenser, Kevin's watch, the rabborgs' elemental forms…all the tricks and traps they used in their exploits.

Most importantly, Balancia reviewed the events that happened years ago. It all started one December when Buzzer, a fly from the future, came into the players' lives. Working together, the group gathered five Gadgets of Order to help Kevin defeat his inner evil, and then used the Purifier to defeat Doppel. Months later, Perinton followed in his boss' footsteps, and the players entered the Unikingdom in search of five more Gadgets of Order. Another few months later, allied with the denizens of Whisker Haven and Knuckles the Echidna from the world called Mobius, the group gathered the last five gadgets and defeated the demon Exetior. The highest point came when the players and all their allies from the multiverse explored the Corruption to weaken Perinton further but were met with a surprise when the multiverse was fused into one. In the end, with the help of the six Chaos Princesses, the heroes triumphed over Perinton at the cost of Buzzer's life. Since then, the multiverse had known overall peace, but said peace was now threatened again.

Balancia collapsed on the keyboard and breathed when she finished her review. To Andy and Mark, it seemed as if she had just stared at the screen for one minute as the screen scrolled rapidly by. "Whew! That was a lot to take in!" she said, before flying right back up. "Anyway, I think I'm ready to go meet these Minecraft Maniacs!"

Andy and Mark nodded. "Good luck!" said Mark with a salute. "Here's hoping we can fix this before it gets too bad!" Balancia giggled before flying off, ready to initiate contact with the heroes, hoping that they'd be up to using their heroics once more.

"I sure hope they can solve this," said Andy. "I mean, it's been years since they did something like this."

"Well, we know what they're capable of," said Mark. "I'm sure they'll pick it back up again quickly."
