Greetings, one and all and welcome to Avatar: Immortal Dragon.
I was busy writing Avatar Heroes: Rebirth and this story just popped in my head. It's partially inspired from the same work as another story I'm currently working on.
Far warning, this story is going to be a lot more mature than my other ones.
Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy it, and fair warning there's lemon in chapter one. That's the second time that happened.
"Earth. Fire. Air. Water. Avatar Aang and his friends heroically ended the Hundred Year War." a well dressed, handsome man said as he leaned against the bar, "I should know, I was there for the whole sordid affair, you know."
His raven black hair, which was usually slicked back but was now disheveled, and his amber colored eyes had slid, serpentine pupils. His outfit consists of a black blazer, white dress shirt and black waistcoat, black pants, dark brown boots.
"Yeah, it was a pretty crazy run." the well dressed man said, helping himself to a glass and a rather handsome bottle, "But you asked who I am and why I'm here, right? Well I'm Genji Chirayus, I'm also known as the Immortal Dragon, nice to meet you. Well then, let's start at the beginning."
So many, many, many, many years go, when the four Nations where barely settled. They had to deal with a vast array of monsters that inhabited the land and which humans even with bending were poorly equipped to deal with. To fix this, experiments had started.
And through extensive training, ruthless mental and physical conditioning, and mysterious rituals the first of the Shashou was created.
They created practically super soldiers with a tremendous resistance to disease and a boosted immune system. Exceptionally increased strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance, far beyond any normal or well-trained human could ever hope to accomplish. Acces to elixers that gives a temporary boost to our attributes that would kill normal people. Accelerated healing granting quick recovery from injuries. Incredibly long lifespan and prolonged youth.
Downsides? We're basically sterile, like 99.9%. I guess it would explain the selection from outsiders to become Shashou.
I guess an over developed libido, or that might just be me.
Anyways, soon the first generation of Shashou establishing the first Qiyue Ren. However, over time, a violent fight broke out among their own resulting in several deaths and a schism, and with other Shashou growing disillusionment about their purpose and leaving as well.
It was then that the four independent Qiyue Ren's were built. With the Qiyue Ren and each one creating their own Shashou, their work became efficiently organized. Past tensions between them calmed down and when Shashou from different Qiyue Ren crossed paths, no blood was shed as each knew they had their own territory, making them treat other Qiyue Ren more like estranged brothers than bitter enemies like before.
But we were a bit too successful. Monsters grew increasingly rare and due to propaganda and the distrust of the rulers of the kingdoms we settles in, Shashou became the monsters in most of the population's eyes.
At least that's what I heard, wasn't there when it happened and I never paid attention in history class. But by the time I became a Shashou, monster's weren't the only things we hunted. If you had enough coin, we would take any job.
Yeah, we pretty much became a guild of assassins, a dark brotherhood, a assassins cre...
What? Too far back? Okay, let's go somewhere more recent.
This was during the Hundred Year War, I had been tracking my target for a few days now when I came across some sort of skirmish between Fire Nation soldiers, a group of Pirates and some other two as a rather pretty water tribe girl was tied to a tree.
"This has officially gotten out of hand." she said looking around, "Where's Momo when I need him?" as the rope around her hands loosen.
Momo, yeah he is a flying Winged lemur, was chittering in her ear.
"Oh there you are. Thanks Momo." she said as Momo landed in front of her, "Wait... but if your here..."
"Yeah... My name is not Momo."
The ropes loosened entirely, allowing her to pull away from the tree. "Now I recommend you leave with your friends." Genji said with a wink, "Because this party is getting crazy!" as he disappeared into the smoke.
The smoke cleared, blown away by Aang's airbending. Standing beside Aang, a pirate held high by the front of his shirt in one hand, while a fire bender was forced to the ground by his foot, was Genji wearing light leather armor and a sword strapped on his back.
"Greetings." Genji said before Aang screamed when he caught sight of him.
Aang quickly sprinted over to Katara. Once Aang was clear, Genji resumed beating the pants off of the soldiers and pirates, throwing them around as if they were nothing.
"Who is that?" Aang said.
"No idea." Katara said, shaking her head.
Sokka was crawling along towards on his belly, but he was stopped when Zuko stepped in front of him. "Where do you think you're going peasant?" the fire prince said he raised his hand high, poised to strike down on Sokka, but he was pulled back just before Zuko's flaming fist met its mark.
Genji was holding Sokka up by the collar, then tossed him towards Aang and Katara, allowing him free range to deal with the rest of his opponents.
Zuko attacked, firing a pillar of fire towards Genji, which he expertly dodged. Zuko continued the onslaught, pressing Genji back, keeping him on the defensive.
As Zuko threw another fire fist, Genji caught it in his own, pulling Zuko forward to knee him in the stomach. Zuko hunched over, trying to catch his breath, only to have his neck meet the persons elbow. Zuko fell to the ground unconscious.
"Behind you!" Katara shouted.
Genji turned around to find the pirate captain rushed up behind him, sword held high and ready to strike. "Thanks hot cheeks." Genji said with a wink, before turning on his heel, pulling the sword from his back, and moved to counter the strike.
The pirate captain was swiftly disarmed from his sword with a simple flourish from Genji's sword.
"What in the..." the Pirate Captain said, before being run through with a sword.
"Your a difficult man to track down." Genji said removing his sword from his stomach, "But you know, I was being paid anyway."
The remaining pirates sat grouped together, staring down Genji with uncertainty. "This is the part where you run." Genji whispered to them.
And like he advised, the pirates scrambled, rushing back to the ship. Genji looked around to find Zuko and Iroh had already left and a scroll laying close to his feet. He picked it up and opened it to look over the drawings.
"Hey!" Katara said, "That's ours!"
"Eh, I have no use for this." Genji said, throwing it over his shoulder, then blowing on his fingers to whistle for his ostrich horse, which quickly came running up. Grabbing a sack from his traveling bag before heading to the bleeding Pirate Captain, readying his sword.
"What are you doing?" Aang said curious.
"Getting my prove for the bounty." Genji said turning around and walking backwards to face them, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have business to attend to."
"Wait..." Katara said, "You're not here to hurt us?"
"I don't even know who you are!" he shouted, over his shoulder as the Pirate Captain was trying to crawl away, his body now hiding behind a bunch of bushes.
"You don't know who this is?" Sokka said gesturing to Aang.
"A air nomad? Been a while since I seen one." Genji said his head peaking over the bushes before disappearing completely as he kneel down next to the Pirate Captain but his voice could still be heard, "As I said I have business to attend to."
"You have seen air nomads before?" Aang said surprised.
"Yeah... a hundred or so years ago." Genji said casually from behind the bush, "Haven't been to one of their air temples lately. All the best contracts are in the Earth Kingdom right now."
"If you have been stuck in the Earth Kingdom." Aang said excited, "Maybe we can help you!"
"Does it look like I need help baldy?" Genji said annoyed as he was continuously interrupted, "Even if I wanted it, I doubt it will be free. As my master once told me, 'What comes free, often proves most costly'."
"Well uhm..." Aang said, "You could teach us!"
"Teach you?" Genji said peeking his head concerned above the bushes, "Boy, you don't want the training I went through!... Eh, sure."
"What!?" Sokka shouted.
With a filled sack hanging over his shoulder, he stood up from the bushes. "There is this town up north I need to stop by." Genji said, "Pick me up from there and you can consider me your part time trainer and part time bodyguard."
"Deal!" Aang said, shaking hands with him, "I'm Aang. Good to meet you."
"My name's Katara." she said with a slight bow, "And the guy pouting near the river there is my brother Sokka."
"I'm not pouting." Sokka shouted.
"Alright. So I'm Genji Chirayus, Shashou of the Dragon Qiyue Ren."
"We got an assassin with us!?" Sokka shouted in shock.
"See it as a bonus!" Genji said happily throwing his free arm around Sokka, "You got a capable assassin as well!"
And from then on, I traveled with Team Avatar. Completing contracts, teaching them how to be better fighters, sleeping around with many, many, many beautiful women. That was my favorite part of it.
Like my favorite bounty hunter June. There was Princess Yue of course, shame she died. There was Suki, I'm not sure what the Kyoshi Warrior's practice but damn... It was hot.
You asked why I'm here! We are getting there! Yes, details like that are very important to fully understand and appreciate the story! How else are you going to enjoy every little detail, reference and shout outs? It also helps with world building.
As I was saying, I lost count how many times Katara and I sneaked off to do the nasty, that was of course before she started dating Aang, your welcome buddy. The one I stayed the longest with was Toph... That one didn't end well. But the best lay in my over three hundred years of living is still Ty Lee, the positions we could do... Just thinking about it makes me...
Anyways, moving on.
Together we put a stop to the hundred year war, went on one last search for Zuko's mom and then there was this small civil war which was resolved when we transformed the Fire Nation colonies into the United Republic of Nations. We named the capital Republic City, my idea by the way.
...Alright fine! I'll get to the point!
So it was after Republic City was established, I ended in a relationship with Toph Beifong. It was during the time she had become head of the police force, I know I laughed as well.
The relationship was one big mistake. The sex was good, don't get me wrong but neither of us were... those type of people...
Roughly two decades after the Hundred Year War, in the house me and Toph shared, loud moans where heard coming from the bedroom. On top of the messy bed, Genji had positioned himself on top of Ty Lee again, she moans just as loudly as she did before he begin sliding his penis into the wet walls of her most intimate place.
Genji feels how wet and tight she is on his penis as it crawled up inside of her. As he finally feel himself fully at the hilt, their pace quickly increasing. The two panted and moaned as the pleasure had built up more.
"G-Genji!" Ty Lee moaned, tucking at his hair, "I'm gonna cum again!"
"Good." Genji said as his speed pick up even more.
As soon as Genji felt the wave of pleasure surging through before it passed by just as quickly, he then felt his cum mixing up in a swirl that combined with Ty Lee's orgasm exploded as he still felt himself releasing inside of her for the fifth time that afternoon.
But the moment was short lived when the bedroom door was thrown open wildly as Genji and Ty Lee's head snapped towards it to find an enraged Toph standing there.
Some time later after Ty Lee was launched out of a window, bed and all, by Toph's earthbending, Genji threw her clothes after her, the young couple was now busy yelling at each other as he was getting dressed.
"In our bed!?" Toph shouted, "Were we sleep!?"
"Yeah so!?" Genji shouted as he got his sword, "You cheated on me first!"
"Not in our bed!" Toph protested, looking at how he was wearing his Shashou armor, "Where do you think your going!?"
"Got a contract!" Genji shouted, slinging his bag over his shoulder, "Being away from you is a bonus!" as he headed for the door.
"You seriously took a contract again!?" Toph shouted in disbelieve, "I try to clean up this city and you go around murdering people! I should have had you locked up years ago, you stupid shit!"
"Do it! Do it!" Genji shouted back his voice become sore from the shouting, "I'll put you in the fucking ground with the rest of them!"
Not the best way to break up, I know. I'll admit, cheating on her with a mutual friend of ours wasn't very nice. But she started it!
You don't mind if I smoke in here, right? Of course you don't.
So I went to my contract and everything went tits up! The contract I was send on was to kill off some deluded faction off-spring of the White Lotus led by a guy named Xai Bau or something.
During the fight, they caused a cave in and I was buried alive along with a lot of their members. But I still killed Xai Bau so I count it as a win for me.
What do you mean, how I survived being buried alive?
Remember those mysterious rituals I mentioned of the Shashou are created? Yeah, during mine something went wrong and I ended up with some form of immortality!
Where do you think the title Immortal Dragon comes from?
I mean, I do age, so I might die eventually. But I don't die from my injuries, but you will be surprised at what I can live through... Like that one time I fell into a volcano with both my legs and left arm chopped off, an active volcano at that! Worst six months of my life!
So I was dug out by come construction crew, freaked them out when the corpse began to speak, made my way back to Republic City and I found out it has been fifty fucking years!
I lost everything again, not the first time and I doubt it will be the last, but I still don't like it. Do you know what happens to a Shashou's bank account after fifty years!?
Compound interest! I am mega loaded now!... More than I originally was.
So I came back to Republic City and I decided to do something with the money. I opened my very own club. Just a place for people to come together, relax and have fun! I would still be traveling for contracts but a base of operation, maybe a place where other Shashou's could come together, that can turn a profit is nice to have.
And all was great until some mooks from the Terra Triads came knocking...
It was a busy night for the club when the Terra Triads entered the establishment and began bothering one of my favorite waitresses named Jin, but having smelled the trouble after years of training I quickly stepped in to take control of the situation.
Genji, wearing a similar suit as his raven black hair, slicked back. His outfit consists of a black blazer, white dress shirt and black waistcoat, black pants, dark brown boots. He was standing between three members of the Terra Triads and waitress Jin.
"Since you're obviously new in town, let me explain a couple things. You're in Terra Triad territory, so you pay us for protection." one said with shady men, "Or else I can't guarantee I can protect your establishment and your fine employee's."
"...Was that a threat?" Genji said with a growl, a cigarette in mouth.
I kindly showed them that I didn't need it, neither did my club.
Genji grabbed one of the shady men's head and smashed it against the bar.
In quick succession, he deliver a series of rapid punches to the second ones side, flooring him with a heavy elbow strike.
He gave a leg swipe against the third, before kicking him in the head. "So are you threatening me?" Genji said kneeling down as he took a hit from his cigarette, "Because that sounded vaguely like a threat."
I thought I had send a pretty strong message but then they came back the next night and killed Jin.
That was something that really pissed me off.
Up in a penthouse, there was a club used by the Terra Triads as headquarters, which was decorated with enough earth plates to take on any of their rival gangs should they try to attack.
The leader, a fat forty something gangster named Qian Chu, sat in his privet back booth when the door was kicked open as the bouncer's dead body dropped to the floor. Genji was wielding his sword, named Yamato, as blood dripped off it.
"Do you have any idea who you are messing with!?" Qian Chu shouted angrily as he stood up from his seat, and everyone of his men stood at the ready to fight this intruder.
"A whole bunch of dead people." Genji said, taking his opening stance. A earth plate was shot at him, but using his superhuman reflexes, he sliced it in half and the two pieces fell to the floor.
Genji charged forward, weaving his way through the fast yet predictable patterns, stabbing, slicing and dismember his way through Terra Triad members.
"He's one man! How can you be losing against one man!" Qian Chu shouted from his desk as he pressed an intercom, "Where the hell is everyone!?"
Ducking under a strike aimed at his head, Genji used the momentum to slice the earthbender's leg off with a single swing. Screaming in pain as his balance was lost, the man falls to the ground as Genji spin's around and slices his head clean off.
He turned around to slice another earth plate, before in the same movement stabbing an earthbender behind him in the torso.
Covered in the blood of the many members of the Terra Triads, Genji took a moment to look at all the bodies laying around him before spotting the Qian Chu, the last of the Terra Triads.
"I took care of your mooks on the way up here." Genji said cleaning his blade as strode forward, like a predator stalking its prey.
It was then that the feeling of pure fear washed over Qian Chu as he saw the feral grin forming on the strangers face. He knew a force of nature, something that couldn't be argued or barged with, was coming for him.
"And that's how we got here." a messy haired Genji said, a nearly finished cigarette in hand as he sat on the main floor of the Terra Triads club with his back against the bar as his outfit was stained with the blood of his enemies. A glass with his drink along with a nearly empty bottle, his bloodied sword rested next to him as he was sitting among the corpses of Terra Triads members.
Taking a puff of his cigarette, blowing out the smoke. "Did that answer all your questions, Qian Chu?" Genji said to the bleeding leader of the Terra Triad next to him, who was covered all the alcohol of his own club.
"You know, I had a lot of fun talking but seriously..." he said, standing up as he picked up his sword, "...Damn I had something for this." before flicking his lit cigarette towards the soon to be deceased Terra Triad leader.
Once he returned back to his own club, he had used his resources to return Jin back to their family along with enough payment to cover for her funeral.
A solemn lookin Genji sat on the steps at the front, smoking another cigarette when it happened. Two motorcycles flew through the air as a young woman and man crashed on the ground as their ride, a white polar bear dog fell to the ground.
His eyes shot wide open when one of the motorcycles had crashed into the roof of his car as quick blast of fire behind him lit everything up.
"Oi!" Genji shouted, as he watched the two young people knocked to the ground and drawing the attention of the two masked ones, "That was my fucking car!"
He dropped the cigarette on the ground, stomping it out as he wastes no time to run forward towards the two masked motorcyclists.
He initiates a hand-to-hand combat. The chi blocker aims for Genji's head, but he averts the course with his left hand. Ducking under the strike from the male chi blocker. Genji leans back to dodge another strike, knocking the chi blockers's hand to the side. Genji uses his sideways moment to spin around in a full moon kick, smacking her to the ground breaking her neck.
Standing over his defeated opponent, he notice the girl was giving him a look. "Water Tribe girl. Noice." he thought with a wink before turning to the other masked fighter.
The male, who was grunting in pain as his right arm was immobilized. Genji charged forward landing a solid kick to the male biker's head. He recovered, throwing swing, but Genji easily ducks under it, twirls behind and launched him with another powerful kick.
He lands roughly on the ground with a heavy thud and a groan before a powerful kick against the head cracked his skull and put him down for good.
"Whoa! That felt awesome!" Genji shouted, full of adrenalin with his arms raised in victory, "I could really use something to drink, something to smoke and someone to fuck!"
He turned around when he heard the desperate and panicked voice of the girl, "I can't bend. I can't bend!"
"Take it easy, girl." Genji said dismissively as she gave him a stern look, "It's just chi blocking, it will wear off."
"Those guys were chi blockers?..." the male said, as he pulls his right glove tighter, "They're Amon's henchmen."
"Amon?" the girl said, "That anti-bending guy with a mask?"
"Yeah, he's the leader of the Equalists." the male said.
"Never heard of either of them." Genji said with a shrug, "Anyhow it's been a bash but I believe the police are going to show up any second now and I really need a bath."
"Wait hold up." the girl said but she was ignored by him as he simply walked back inside his club without giving them a second glance.
Well there ya go, first chapter, hope you enjoyed. Many thanks to everyone who reads this story, you beautiful bastards!
Reading back, I just realized how short the lemon actually was. Oh well.
