One, Two, Three, Repeat
The first time…
In the kitchen of one of our safehouses, you slammed me against the wall, looked me in the eye.
And didn't say a word.
You looked hungry and I was scared. I figured you'd finally gotten fed up with me and no amount of my skill during battle would be enough reason for you to put up with me anymore. I was cursing myself for letting my guard down-
But suddenly your mouth was on mine and God I wanted more of you. You tasted like oranges and cinnamon…
You stopped, looked me in the eye again - and left.
Left me with my head spinning…
How long had we fought each other?
It didn't feel like hate to me, but you're the Perfect Soldier-
I'm the loudmouth-
These things don't mix.
The second time…
In Deathscythe, as I was making repairs, I saw you standing there looking at me, then you moved and—you kissed me again.
You looked me in the eye
"I think I love you Duo."
You didn't look hungry anymore, just brittle
I didn't want to say the wrong thing, in case you broke.
So I didn't say anything-but I kissed you this time.
I let my hands find their place on your hot, hot skin. And your hands-they were cool against my face…We probably would've gotten farther.
But then Wufei yelled us to get back in the house; we had a new mission. Sometimes I wonder why I put up with him. So we broke apart. You went back inside and I waited for a few moments before following you.
But I knew we were both thinking-
Third time's a charm.
