And here is another RWBY Fan Fic, if you remember that I posted a vote of three of my RWBY Fanfics that were in the works, and it had the first chapters of the three and the one with the most votes would be the one I focus more-ish that being 'Legends Scatter One Remains.' And this was the runner-up and I hope you enjoy and like what I have in store of this one.
Also I've decided to post a few new RWBY Fanfics, reason why is I want to post because I cannot wait, even thou I planned to post them when I completed a volume for the ones already on the site but 'meh.'
P.S. I did go over it and have added a few things and changed selected things that was not in the original and checked for spelling mistakes.
I do not own RWBY only my OC's and the change of selected scenes that are not in the real episodes / chapters.
Enjoy!
The Daughter of Bad Luck
Volume 1 Chapter 1 - Hawke Branwen
'Experience is a great teacher," - Kobe Bryant.
Night time in Vale, shortly after Prof. Ozpin and Goodwitch have returned from the Police station after excepting a 15 year old girl with Silver eyes into Beacon Academy. Ozpin sat at his desk, Goodwitch was pacing back and forth in deep thought, the only sound to be heard is the tick tock of the tower's clock.
"Are you sure about this Ozpin?" Goodwitch asks, breaking the silence.
"Most sure," he replied. "She has the potential, one of the few that got the highest score in her generation when she was a student here, and a greater fighter with experience, she is suited for the job."
"I know but ever since that day she's….. not been the same."
"She has had many dark moments in her past, but she is strong willed just like her mother."
Beeeeep…..Beeeeep…..Beeeeep…..Beeeeep…..Bee-Crack
The two teachers could only hear metal cutting, stabbing something that was growling like a bear fighting someone.
"NOT A GREAT TIME!" a young female voice yelled after a grunt. "GAH! Kind of busy here!"
An Ursa roars loudly, then it groaned in pain, and a thud.
"Okay, who is calling this late at night," the woman pants with a annoyed tone. "And right in the middle of a fight with a fecking Major Ursa."
"I apologise Hawke," Ozpin spoke. "Unfortunate timing I'm afraid."
"Oh Hey Oz, should have known it was you, what's up?"
"Glad to hear you are well, that sounded quite the fight."
"Yeah well so what do I own the pl-… I am on speaker aren't I?"
"Yes you are," Ozpin replied.
"Then I take it that Goodwitch is with you?"
"Yes Miss Branwen," Goodwitch spoke.
"And Qrow?"
"Afraid not, he is still out on a mission," Ozpin replied.
"Oh two out of three, anyway what's up Oz?"
"I have a proposition for you." Ozpin asked.
"What is it?"
"I would like you to become a teacher at Beacon," Ozpin requested.
Crack!
Ozpin and Goodwitch looked at each other with confused looks.
"Miss Branwen?" Goodwitch spoke.
"Sorry dropped my scroll, I..- I thought you said, you want me to be a teacher?"
"You heard right Hawke," Ozpin replied.
"You drank decaf coffee didn't you?"
"No."
"Will I think you should cut down all the same," Hawke replied. "Are you mad Oz, I don't have what it takes to teach. What will I even teach the kids?"
"You know how to survive in the wilds of Remnant, how the students can use your skills, that you and your team developed to befit the students today."
"(deep inhale and exhale) Are you sure there aren't anyone else who could do it?" Hawke asked.
"Miss Branwen," Goodwitch spoke up taking a step closer to the desk. "You had one the highest sources in both combat and study I cannot think of anyone else who would do a better job then you."
After a moment of silences.
"Alright… you got yourself a new teacher Oz," Hawke replied.
"Excellent," Ozpin said. "Where are you are the moment?"
"Somewhere in between Vale and Vacuo, why?"
"Because the first year students will be arriving tomorrow morning."
"I see, well it's a good classes don't start straight away, so I've got the two days correct?"
"Yes when you arrive at Beacon we will fill you in on the details."
"Yeah alright I'll see you when I get there," Hawke says before hanging up.
Somewhere near the end of a cliffside, a young huntress in her 20's, wearing shoulder dull grey armour, with a craved in emblem into it and tied threw three tiny holes are three long brown feathers at the tips one in each colour, purple, light blue and baby blue. On the back of the armoured shoulder is a long white cape stopping at the knee, the ends torn of the fabric from years of traveling but clean as it is brand new, with a hunter green colour blouse with leather vest armour on top, a small red sash tied around her right arm, and wearing a full short black glove while her left arm has long fingerless glove.
( The blouse and like Renfri's Red top and armour in Netflix's 'The Witcher' and the shoulder armour and cloak like Ezio's first getup in Assassin Creed 2. )
A Longsword strapped on the left side of her back, a short sword on her right-side on her belt with pouches, black trousers with high knee hiking boots.
( Just look up 'Ariat Berwick Insulated GTX Boots' and it should show up )
She puts away her scroll in one of the pouches, she looks up with her red eyes at the moon, a 'X' shape on the centre right of the forehead part of it down the eye on to her cheek, light brown wavy hair gently blew in the breeze from the cliff.
"Prof Branwen huh," she says to herself out loud. "Never I thought the two words would fit together, maybe that is one of the reasons why Dad quit….. Oh well better get going."
She jumps of the cliff transforming into a hawk, flying away into the night.
There you go, I hope you enjoyed that I've got lots of plans for this OC, big, big plans and I hope you well like how the pilot goes.
