"Naruto, would you please stop trying to bother Yoh and help me with
these dishes?" Iruka asked, "You two are the laziest people here. After we
get done with the chores, we're going to decide where everyone gets to
sleep. You want to get a good room, right?" Naruto didn't reply and instead
obediently started on the dishes. "I'm going to look for Goten, and I want
these dishes done when I get back, alright?"
"Yes, Iruka." Naruto replied, sighing at the same time.
"Good," Iruka smiled at Naruto before turning toward Yoh, "Could you find Kurama for me Yoh, he should be outside in the garden."
"I guess I've got nothing better to do." said the shaman before before going outside with Amidamaru following him, Iruka left after him.
Naruto was getting used to the quiet when he heard somebody yell as they clumsily tripped and fell down the stairs. He quickly ran out of the kitchen to see what happened. "Jin! Are you okay?" He asked when he saw who fell.
Naruto and Jin had only known each other for a few hours and were already best friends.
"Aye, I'm alright. I just hafta get used ta' usin' me feet again." Jin said, with a smile plastered onto his face, "Hey, do ya know when the others are comin', I can't wait for Touya ta' get here!" The wind shinobi said excitedly.
Naruto laughed, he knew how much Jin liked Touya, even though he had never seen them together. "I think Iruka said they'd be here in about forty-five minutes."
"Okies." Jin said as he turned and ran back upstairs, nearly falling several times. Naruto laughed at his friend before going back into the kitchen to finish the dishes.
*forty-seven minutes later*
"Alright everybody, listen up! I've been tracking the guest's ki signatures, and they should be arriving any second now. When you see them you're going to bombard them with paintballs. Any questions before I continue?" Kurama said this as though he were ordering troops around. Naruto's hand shot up in the air. "Yes, Naruto?"
"Um, what does bombard mean?" Kurama sighed in frustration.
"It means to attack in force." Said Iruka with a smile on his face, which caused Naruto to pout, which caused Iruka's smile to grow.
"Okay, everyone." Kurama said in an attempt to draw everyone's attention back to him. "You will be allowed to use any powers that you have, as long as don't do any damage to the biulding. I'm sure they will be expecting us to surprise them with something, so odds are they won't come in through the front door." The Kitsune pauses to lay a map out on the table in front of him. "There is a total of three entrances into the building. You will be divided up into teams of two and each team will be assigned to a different door. I'm letting Iruka pick the teams."
"Alright," Said Iruka, "Team one will be Goten and Yoh, and they will be at the front door. Team two will be Naruto and Jin, and they will be at the door going out to the pool. Kurama and I will be at the back door. Is everyone clear?" Iruka paused to look around the room, "okay, everyone to their assigned door."
"Yes, Iruka." Naruto replied, sighing at the same time.
