Disillusion

Disclaimer: I don't own JRR Tolkien's characters.

Summery: To finally gain all your memories and then to lose them seems unlikely. If an accident can cause this to happen what can cause the memories to return. Tears, pain, anger, regret, bitterness and many more emotions will be experienced, in a dark story of a female.

Prologue

Falling, falling, falling. The ground in its dreary silence could be seen below, as I fell, face first towards it. With a resounding crack, I collided with the ground. Pain etched throughout my body, bones cracked sharply, piercing the skin and leaving the crumpled, bruised, body to lie still on the forest floor.

Blackness swallowed her body whole, she closed her eyes, no longer been able to withstand the pain.

A memory entered her mind.

A child no older then six ran through the corridor towards her classroom. Entering the room, the child looked towards her friends and smiled.

Walking happily over to them she touched a fellow girl on the shoulder, only to be pushed onto the ground.

She watched as the small group of her friends pointed and laughed.

'Clumsy, clumsy Charlie.' They sang in there shrill childish voices.

Charlie pulled her arms towards her and cried.

Soft, everything felt soft. Opening her eyes into mere slits she looked around the white room.

Where was she? How did she get here? Where is here?

Millions of questions flooded her mind

She had no idea where she was, no clue how she got there, and on a matter of speaking where was here?

Trying to sit up was out of the question, as any movement flooded her with pain, wincing she settled into the softness and let sleep yet again claim her.

Short but meaningful. The prologue is there to establish what has happened in the past, present and future. Chapter one will be up soon.
