In 1776, the wizard and witch doctors within London detected a rare wizardly disease. Only 1 in 1,000,000 wizards/witches were known to have the disease. The disease made its victim eat, sleep, and crave evil. Cedric Diggory was one of the very few to obtain this disease. It wasn't until after he died that the disease was detected within Diggory's blood. The disease is mostly hereditary, but no one within Cedric's family was known to have had the disease, (which by the way is called Evillicinosisism.)
People with Evillicinosisism are very good at hiding it, and it is very rare that it is detected until they are died, and the tests are done to see how they have died, if the reason is not obvious.
Although Cedric was possessed by evil, his parents, friends, classmates, and loved ones still continue to miss him, because they never knew the evil side of him. They had only met the sweet, caring Cedric, whom was a good student, friend, boyfriend, etc.
Anyway, now that the history of Cedric's evil is cleared up, I can get back to the story.
If you have read the fourth Harry Potter book, you know that Harry, although supposed to be too young for the triwizard tournament, ended up in it anyway. He got in by means of Voldemort the robot. Well, so did Cedric. Voldemort's programming was very well thought out, and very clever. It was able to get Harry, as well as Cedric, into the triwizard tournament.
When Harry and Cedric touched the cup, it brought them to Voldemort, and Voldemort killed Cedric. This was the small glitch in Voldemort's programming. When Cedric created Voldemort, he forgot to give Voldemort the ability to recognize Cedric from other wizards. So when Harry and Cedric arrived, Voldemort took the 50/50 chance, and ended up killing Cedric.
Now Cedric is dead, and Harry alive. Will Voldemort be able to operate without Cedric?

Author's Notes: -I know many of you are probably wondering how Voldemort became before Cedric. When the evil wizard first tried to kill Harry, it was not actually Voldemort. It was actually a real wizard (not a robot) named Voldemord. Since the names are so similar, everyone thought it was the same evil wizard.
