"wait you will trade your things for my insignia?" The half elf said.
"Yup that is the only way i can think on the moment" the young man said.
"But! I don't have anything to pay it back you know?"
"Well i am not doing it for reward or anything. I am just trying to do what is best for all of us" 'more like i have to make sure you survive or else puck might destroy the world and my future knowledge will be gone to shit'
"Still. I feel bad letting a stranger give their possesions for my insignia"
"Well then. My name is lucas...(pendragon? Should i use it? I mean i look like king arthur might aswell use it... Right?) Ryuuma (I can't! It's too cringe!)"
"Lucas ryuuma? Well my name is emilia, nice to meet yo- wait! That was not the problem! Why are you giving your things for my insignia"
"Don't worry about it. I don't know why but i feels like this will work out pretty well for all of us soooo just trust me on this" 'Future knowledge is the best! I am confidence that i can fight elsa until reinhard came so i can act cool like this' (A/N the character still have the same mentality as subaru on the first day. Plus with his strength he think he is invincible)
"Fine then so what must we do first?" Emilia said.
"First we need to find where the slum is. Do you know where it is?" Lucas said.
"No. Sorry i don't know where that is"
"Hmmm...'i can try to ask the appa guy like before or try to find plum and ask the location as a reward from the appa guy' alright let's first search for it ourself, if in 1 hour we can't find it. We ask people around"
"Alright then let's move on" emilia said.
The both of them walk out of the alley and their search. While emilia is trying to find the slum, lucas is actually trying to find plum. And he found it.
"Hey emilia isn't that girl look kinda troubled?" He said.
"Yeah you're right. We should help her" emilia said
"But are you sure? We are on a high risk mission now. Every second counts" he ask
"Yes i am sure. Even if i have a problem we can't just leave a little girl troubled like that" emilia said.
"Alright then. Let's go help her"
They both then approach the little girl. At first the girl is scared when there is 2 people siddenly approach her but when she see lucas face and armor she become calm.
"Hello little one. What's wrong?" Lucas said.
"I.. i am lost, i don't know where my mommy is" the little girl said while sniffling
"I see. That could be scary indeed but in this type of scenario you shouldn't start panicing. You should remain calm and ask some knight to help you find your mommy" he said with a smile.
"Are you a knight mister?"
"Self proclaimed, but anyway let me and this kind lady here help you find your parents okay?"
"Alright mister"
"Good then let's get going"
He pick the little girl up and put her on his shoulder. He walk around a bit trying to find her mother but couldn't find her. And it will be extremely suspicous if he just brought the little girl to the appa stand because he is not suppose to know that this girl is the daughter of the appa guy.
'maybe i can just walk into the market district and wait until the appa guy shout at me for kidnapping her daughter' he thought.
"Hey little girl. I am not really sure about this but is your father selling appas?" He ask.
"Yes! Father does sell appas. How did you know?"
"Well you look a lot like the appa guy i bought some appa from. If so then i can just send you to him can't i?"
"Really?! Thank you mister!"
"No problem" he said with a smile
Emilia look at him with a suspicious gaze
'don't look at me. I am just an innocent guy trying to help an unfortunate little girl'
The three of them then start to walk towards th appa store.
"You are really good with kids lucas-san" emilia said
"Hmm... No it just when i see a kid my first natural instinct is to protect them. So yeah that's that"
Emilia smile at me after that statement.
'Damn that smile could really melt someones heart, no wonder subaru fell in love with this girl. She is simply too beautifull and also very kind. For a neet like subaru meeting a girl this beautifull and this kind will absolutely make him fall in love with her. But i am not falling for it yet, my father always told me that a beautifull girl always come with a problem. And boy was he right'
"Plum!" Mr. Savepoint guy scream at us after seeing her daughter on lucas shoulder
"Papa!" She then climbed down his shoulder and rushed straight to her papa giving him a big hug
"Plum! Where have you been? Your mother have been searching for you"
"I was lost papa but this kind lady and mister knight here found me and bring me here"
"You? Well if my daughter said so then it must be true. Thank you very much for sending her here, is there anything i can do to repay this?" Mr. Savepoint guy said(A/N this joke starting to get annoying even for me)
"Well we are trying to find someone that steal something from us. So if you know where we can buy stolen goods on the slums then that would be really helpfull" lucas said.
"Stolen? That must have been felt then. If you want to buy it back just go to the loot house at the edge of the slum. It was that way" he then proceed to tell the two of them the direction of the slum and the loot house.
"I see, thank you for your help sir, we will be on our way" lucas said.
Both emilia and lucas then walk towards the direction given by the appa guy.
"It was nice of him to help us find where the thief is" emilia said.
"Of course, when you do good thing people will often time do the same as well" lucas said.
"Not that often..." Emilia said with a small voice. She must have rememberd about her past in the forest,
"I know sometime there will be some ungratefull person that will do bad thing to you even though you helped them. But that shouldn't stop you from doing good things"
"I know but because of my appearance it's hard to help people if their first reaction of see-ing me is run away or curse me"
"Don't worry. Soon people will understand that you're only trying help"
"But anyway i still don't approve of you giving away your things for my insignia" emilia said
"Come on emilia-san we have talked about this. It will be fine. I am planning to sell this thing anyway"
"Then why don't you just do that? Sell it and use the money you will get from it to start your life here. You said it yourself that you are stranded here with no one and nothing on you so that money would help your situation"
"Well i am just trying to help a friend. And it's not like i can't find a job to get more money so it's fine"
"A... Friend?" Emilia said with a rather confused tone
"Yep. We're friend, well unless you don't want me to be your friend then i would say that we are a friend."
"You want to be my friend? Why? I am a half elf"
"I can see that"
"I have a silver hair"

"I look like the witch of envy"

After a few minute of walking and talking about the same issue of me being her friend and she being a half elf.
We finally arrive at the slum.
"Welp this is it. We are finally here at the slum. Now we just have to find the loot house" I said. While looking around the area. 'this is worse than in the show' i see people starving all over the place. Children that's only skin and bone and many more.
"What a very unfortunate situation we are in. This country is filled with resource all over the place and is one of the biggest country. And yet, a slum is still exist even in the capital. Makes you wonder how much worse the situation is in other place" i said.
"Yeah. People said that thing went south because of the demi-human war and the royal family extinction. But it looks like this slum has exist even before them" emilia said. 'when i become the king. I will make sure people will have enough food to eat and roof on top of their head. I will make sure of it' emilia thought
"Yeah. But anyway let's try to find the loot house. Do you want to ask people around or go the old fashion way?" I said to emilia.
"Old fashion?"
"Just searching blindly until we found it."
"Umm. I can always ask the spirits around here if they have seen some thing like the loot house or someone like felt."
"Well that's convenient. You do that while i ask some people around here" she nodded.
I walk around and found 2 kids sitting on some rocks
"Hey there kids what are you guys doing" i said while smiling.
"Nothing" the bigger kids said.
"Well let's just cut to the case then. I am trying to buy some 'special' goods here that can only be found in this area and i am told to find old man rom to do that. But i don't know where it is so can you guys help me out?" I said to the kid trying to not sounds suspicous at all. 'then again i do wear a knight armor so that was already suspicious enough for them'
"Old man rom? I know where he live but kinda forgot the way. Maybe you can help me remember it" the kids said while grinning
"Ah. How sly of you. But of course i know how things going around here so i will 'help' you remember it." I said while taking out 2 silver coin
"How about this. 1 coin each?"
"I don't know mister. Seems like my memories is kinda foggy" the kids said.
"Cheeky brat you won't get more than this you know? My friend over there is talking to the spirits and asking them where is old man rom. If you don't tell me fast she might get the information from the spirits first" i said.
"*Sigh* fine you just need to go on that direction and just keep walking. It is the only house around here so you won't miss it even if you're blind" the kids said while taking the 2 silver coin i give
"Now that was easy doesn't it? Alright then enjoy your money. Buy some food or something you guys are too skinny for a kid. Live strong"
I walk back to emilia and see that she is not finished yet.
I waited and watch while she is talking to the many ball of light surrounding her. This scenery is really beautifull, much more than what the anime show us. Emilia her self is already adorable but this spirits is just enhancing her beauty
While she is talking to the spirits some of them notice me and immedietly surrounded me. I was startled by it but immedietly recover my composure
"Looks like the spirits like you very much lucas-san" emilia said
"Really? I don't know that, this is the first time i have met spirit. But seems like it." I said.
I notice that the spirit didn't really surrounded me but more like surrounded my sword. Looks like they are attracted to it.
"Huh. They like my sword more than me. I don't know wether to be offended by it or not"
"Don't worry lucas-san. I am sure the spirits likes you too"
"Hmm..." I look at the spirits surrounding me and my sword and i notice that one of them is black. (Racist)
"Is this one a yin spirit?" I ask emilia
"Yes! How did you find it? It's really rare to find a yin spirit and much rarer for them to get attracted by someone. You usually have to go on a hunt to find them" emilia said.
'hmm... Can i form a contract with it? I am planning to form a contract with beatrice by saying that i am that person but that basically sealed my fate to only having her as my spirit. Even tho she is strong enough for combat but having more help would be usefull so this is the only chance i have if i want to have another spirit.'
"Hey little guy would you like to form a contract with me?" I said to the yin spirit.
It moved frantically at me. At first i thought that it was a yes but emilia said that the little guy is actually a little girl so she is mad at me.
"Sorry sorry, i don't know how to see a spirit gender so i am really sorry about that. Soooooo do you want to? Little missy?"
The spirit sigh at me and then nod. Well i think it nod but this is just a ball of light we are talking about. How am i suppose to know?
I look at emilia for translation and she said that the little spirit missy want to form a contract with me. And my face get brighten with smile after that.
"Alright! So what terms do you want little girl?"
#Mana# i heard in my head. 'huh so this is how spirit comunicate with human'
"Alright then so i will give you 10% of my mana everyday in exchange of you protecting me and helping me in a fight or other situation. Is that okay to you?"
The spirit frantically shake it self. Huh? Is my propossal rejected?
"Man lucas do you even know how much mana do you have? 10% for a lesser spirit, are you serious?" Puck said as he emerge from emilia's hair
'huh?' "Is it not enough?" I ask puck.
"Not enough?! So you really didn't know how much mana you have huh? Do you know what you look like in a spirit eye lucas? You body is leaking an abundant ammount of mana like a raging fire as we speak. If you give 10% of that everyday to the little girl she will be overcharge and blew up in 3 days"
"O-oh so that's it huh? I thought i don't have enough mana for it. So how much should i give?"
"1% no. 0,2% should be enough for the little girl. Honestly you have even more mana than emilia"
"Ooo.. alright than. How about it little girl? 0,3% of my mana everyday? And of course if you evolve and become stronger i will give you more. How about it?"
The little light then nod happily at me. I feel our contract between us formed in our soul. I don't know how it feels but it feels weird.
And then the little girl come closer to me and rest it self on my head.
"Well looks like we will be a partner from now on. Do you have a name or do you want me to name you"
It shake around on top of my head and i am guessing it mean no.
"Well i am gonna call you luna. How about that?"
#Luna# it sounds in my head like she is testing the sound of the name. And then it move around joyfully while keep on calling her own name.
"Congratulation lucas-san. Having contracted to a yin spirit is very rare so you better treat her nicely" said emilia
"Of course emilia. I will treat her like the good girl she is" i say while looking at my cute spirit flying around me.
"Anyway let's get back on track do you find any information from the spirits?"
"Yes they said that they have seen ahouse on that direction" she said while pointing to some way. (North? Probably?)
"Well that's good. I ask people around they said the same so let's go check it out"
"Sure"
We walk around for a few minute and then found the house. The dirty, stinky, and rundown house. "Well i guess that's what you would expect from a place like this so i am not gonna complain" i said while knocking on the door.
"Emilia. Let me handle this i don't know how good are your negotiation skill but i am confidence in mine so let me handle this one" i said while whispering to her.
"Is anybody home?!" I scream to the door. I hear a footstep from the inside of the door and then a gruntled voice came up.
"Password?"
"This is Fbi you have been suspected of holding a loli. Please open the door"

"That's sounded better in my head than in my ear but anyway we are here because your little friend took something from us and we are willing to buy it back from her. Also know that the thing that little girl steal are something that will get her killed if someone else know that she stole it" i said.
The door then opened up and a giant look at us menacingly.
"What do you mean by that?" The giant said.
"I mean that if the knight know that she stole that jewel the entire capital would stop at nothing to find her and execute her for treason" i said.
"Treason?" The man said.
"Yes. Treason, that jewel is not just some pretty jewel but it was an insignia that confirm the status of the candidate for the next king of lugunica. Just stealing something normal from the king candidate is enough for the entire capital to do a full search to find her but stealing the very thing that confirm the status of that candidate? Well let's say you're lucky we found you first" i said to the old man.
I look behind and found the little girl is shacking in her boots after hearing my explanation
'while i don't think it will be that bad but it is still a believeable story'
"I-it's. N-not gonna be that bad right? Old man?" The little girl said in the back
"Oh ho. Trust me girl. This is not that bad, this is much worse considering the sword saint is in the capital right now and he is searching for something. And who knows when he will find them" the girl looks like she is ready to piss herself right now. 'wow, i don't know that reinhard is that scary'
"So what are you gonna do about it?" Old man rom said to us trying to intimidate us.
"As i said. I am willing to buy the insignia considering that you steal those thing for a living. I am not supporting you for doing that but as i see there is nothing you could do but steal for money. It's either that or you starve to death. So i am considering your condition and are willing to buy or trade those thing with something else"
"Alright. Come sit down" the giant said and let us in.
"Thank you for the hospitality"
"Sure kid" we go inside and sit down on the chair. Felt is behind the counter looking rather scared so i said.
"Don't worry. As long as you still have the item nothing will happend to you. So can i see it first to make sure it's not broken?" I said to felt to which she nod and took something from her pocket.
She presented us the insignia and emilia looks ready to snatch it at the second she see it. I of course seeing the insignia glowed in her hand trying to sounds confused
"How could this be?" I said.
"What? What's wrong mister?! It's not broke is it?!!" Felt said while panicking.
"No. No my lady it's not broken. But there is something more important than that"
"Huh? My lady? Where does that come from?" Felt said rather confused.
"You see my lady. That insignia is a way to confirm someone status to be the candidate for the next king of lugunica and the way to confirm it is if you touch it does it glow or not. If it glow that mean you are a candidate. But if it's not then you are not a candidate"
"And judging by how that insignia is glowing right now that mean felt. You are the fifth candidate to become the next ruler of lugunica" i said completely serious to her.

"Ahahah... Haaa... Mister that was a good one. Me? A candidate to become a king? A lowly thief like me? Pfftt as if!" She said that while looking at me still completely serious
"Wait you aren't joking? Come on mister there is no way it's true" i keep on staring at her

"Well believe it or not i still need to give you to the knights and wether or not you truly are a candidate will be confirmed by them. And if you are then great. But if you aren't then that's fine. People come to check their luck to become the fifth candidate basically everyday so i am sure it will be fine" i said. How do you think people know they are a candidate if they didn't try it? Especially for someone like priscilla that is from another country. Of course they just come in there and check it
"Well sorry to burst your bubble but there is no way i am going to becone the next king. Even if i am a candidate i will just drop out immedietly" felt said.
"Ahhh that's fine too. If you don't want to become a king. Then it's fine. No one is gonna force you. But you still need to present in the opening of the royal selection to drop yourself out and until then. You need to bear with it for a while" i said.
Amd as i said that a looming threat step inside the loot house.
"Ah there is so many people in here. I didn't know i will have a negotiation rival" the very beautifull vampire bitch said.
"And i didn't know that i will be negotiating against someone on your calibre. Trully an unlucky day for me" i said to elsa
"Oh what is this elsa. Are you that famous that people can recognise you immedietly" another voice coming behind her as another footstep come to my ear.
'what's going on?'
"Well looks like we can't do this peacefully now can't we?" The voice said again.
And behind elsa emerge a girl with a sexy clothes and a black eyeglasses. She have snakes for hair and she looks rather green.
'WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING HERE!!!!'

JENG JENG! A wild medusa appear! Bet you didn't saw that coming. As i said before there is no way i will let my mc have a peacefull life while clapping every villain he beat. So i put a villain that can still beat him even tho he have excalibur. A medusa!
No matter how strong you're, all it take is one gaze from her and you're dead. Of course he can still beat her if he didn't see on her eye level or if he use the perseus move and use a mirror. But that will be impossible with elsa trying to kill you every second. He is not some master sword man that can fight blindfolded. He is just some dude with a cool toy.
