The First Meeting
Preface
Setting: In the fall woods, darkened by the new moon, where we find Inu-Yasha (Human, duh), Miroku, Shippo, Sango, and Kagome gathered around a dying fire. All are asleep except for Kagome and Inu-Yasha

Kagome: Hey Inu-Yasha, whenever you're human like this, you never sleep, right?

Inu-Yasha: Yeah, so?

Kagome: Well, sometimes you seem like you're deep in thought... what do you think about?

Inu-Yasha: *surprised by the question* I don't know, I guess whatever's on my mind...

Kagome: Well, What about now?

Inu-Yasha: Now? *looks up at the yellowed trees* Now, in the fall I mean, I think of when Kikiyo and I first met...

Kagome: You think of when you first met her? Could you tell me?

Inu-Yasha: Uh... Sure, I guess so...
