Third Exam: Trick Tower(Part 2)
Several hours later...
Leorio looks at the time while laying down in frustration, Tonpa and Kurapika are sitting quietly against the wall, Happy is still sleeping, Killua is leaning quietly against the wall, while gon and wendy are observing on the unconscious Majitani.
Killua walks up to them, "Is something wrong, you two?"
"Uh-Huh." Wendy nods and Gon points at Majitani.
Killua gets what they mean, "I get it..." he then walks back to leorio, "Hey..." he looks down and alerts leorio, "It's possible that he's already dead."
"Is it possible?" Leorio gets up.
"Well, it's been several hours and he hasn't moved an inch." Gon says before they ran to the edge, with Kurapika and Tonpa following them.
Happy wakes sup after hearing them run forward, "H-Huh? Wait, does that mean he made a decision?" The cat gets up and follows them.
"Hey! We need to check his body!" Leorio calls out to the prisoners.
"What's that?" The female prisoner asked.
"He could already be dead." Leorio points to Majitani.
"I already told you, he's in unconscious." She reminds him.
"How many hours has it been?" Leorio questions, "I can't just take your word for it!"
She smirks and then, "Then let's make a bet."
"A bet? On what?" Leorio doesn't get it.
"On whether he's dead or alive." She answers.
"What would we wager?" Leorio questions.
"Time." She says, "We will settle our match through a betting game, a gamble. And we'll use time, rather than chips. Look at the monitor on the wall. We each have fifty hours, however we can only wager a multiple of ten. We continue placing bets until one of us are out of hours.
"A match where we gamble time..." Leorio murmurs.
"We'll take turns deciding what to bet on." She explains, "If you end up with zero, your time limit will also shorten by fifty hours."
"And if you end up with zero hours?" Leorio wants to know.
"Our sentences will be extended by fifty years. If there terms are acceptable then I'll check on whether he is alive." She says.
"Man, this chick is wick." Leorio crosses his arms, "She's willing to risk extending her own sentence."
"Crazy risk I'd say..." Happy agrees.
"Consider your answer carefully, Leorio." Kurapika advises, "If you lose, we'll have fifty fewer hours, with which to escape the tower."
"Like I need advise from you..." Leorio doesn't wanna hear it, "If you had finished him off to begin with then we wouldn't be in this mess!"
"Fine! I won't say another word!" Kurapika turns from him and crosses his arms.
"I wouldn't want it any other way!" Leorio does the same.
"Guys, this isn't the time to be fighting." Wendy breaks them up while Killua just shrugs at them, not impressed.
Tonpa smirks at them fighting and Happy notices, What are you smirking about?"
"Ah, nothing." Tonpa turns around.
"Right!" Leorio points at her across the platform, "I accept the challenge!"
"Okay! I chose our first bet." She replied, "So you can decide on how many hours we'll wager on whether he's alive or dead."
"I bet ten hours that he's alive." Leorio bets.
She chuckles, "Very well, then let's check." Her and leorio begin walking towards the platform.
"Your being pretty cautious, leorio." Kurapika says.
"And hear I thought you weren't gonna say anything." Leorio smirks and walks forward.
"This was the obvious choice, as long as we confirm his death, kurapika will have won his round. If he's really unconscious, I'll just kick his ass." Leorio thought as they made it in the center to check on majitani. He puts majitani on his backside and checks his neck, lookinh for a pulse.
"See? He's only unconscious." She told him.
"So it seems." Leorio agrees. The hours change to 4060.
"Alright... Leorio has the lead!" Gon says.
"If he can keep this up then it's a win for kurapikia." Wendy agrees.
"This is bad." Killua says with his hands behind his head.
"What do you mean, bad?" Happy questions.
"It's possible he isn't going to wake up." Killua figues.
"What do you mean?" Kurapika questions him and killua turns around to him.
"Remember when that woman walked near the guy on the floor?" He asked.
"What of it?" Kurapika wants to know.
"I thought then that he was already dead." Killua explains and turns back to the platform.
"I mean, he did look like he was dead so I don't blame ya." Happy says.
"But on second thought, they'd obviously prefer him alive, but remaining unconscious. If he doesn't wake up before the test ends then it shortens their sentences by seventy-two years." Killua looks at his watch.
"So if he doesn't wake up..." Gon was about to say.
"That's exactly what he mean." Wendy corrects him.
"Exactly, that's my point." Killua also tells gon.
"So their intention was to stall for time all along." Happy gets it and so does kurapika.
Back on the platform, "Well, now it's your turn." She proposes, "Decide what we'll bet on."
"Let's see..." Leorio is thinking, "How about we bet on whether he is truly unconscious?"
"Huh?" She is confused.
The group knows what he is doing, "That's a good bet!" Wendy is happy at that, so is gon, kurapika, and happy.
"I see." Killua gets it.
"Very well, I bet twenty hours that he really is unconscious." She bets, "But how can we confirm whether he's really conscious?"
"Oh?" Leorio picks majitani up by the arm, "That's very simple." He then starts walking toward the platform edge, "This guy's heavy" He then stands him over the edge, "I'll just toss him off the edge. If he's truly unconscious, then he'll fall to his death"
"Are you insane?" She asked, "His match hasn't been settled yet. We can't accept those terms"
Leorio then smirks, "Don't worry, If he falls and dies, we'll forfeit the match, which will give you a second win. Is that satisfactory?"
"That is a genius idea! He'll definitely wake up." Happy likes the bet.
"Yes, it is." She agrees with leorio, "But then I'm changing my wager. I bet forty hours that he isn't unconscious. Everything I have left." The sound of that surprises the group a little.
"Heh. little sneak. Finally showing your true colors." Leorio can tell. It is silent for a few seconds until... "Fine. I'll let him go."
As leorio let's him go, "W-W-W-Wait! I'm awake! I'm awake... Don't let me go!" Majitani trembles over the edge and barely hangs on, "Wait! Whoa.! I'm gonna fall!"
Leorio catches his hand, "Good morning." The way he greets and throws him back in the platform.
"You people are crazy. I've had enough! I'll take the loss!" He then walks back, "Forget the sentence reduction! It's safer in prison!" He runs back, frightened.
Leorio walks close to the female prisoner, "You knew he was awake." She is impressed.
"I actually aspire to become a doctor." Leorio tells her, "All I had to do was check his eye movement."
The hours then change to 8020, "However, you're down to twenty hours." She warns him.
"But now we're tied 2-2." Leorio says back and the screen on his side changes to tree, "Now it's your turn to bet on something." He smirks and points at her. It's silent for several seconds until, "Well? aren't you gonna bet something? or have you lost your nerve because I've figured out your scheme?"
Her shackles then unlock and she takes off her cloak, name Leroute, "Very well."
Leorio is then smitten with her, "H-Huh? She's really cute..."
"Uh-oh, I think someone... is in LOOOVVVEEEE!" Happy teases.
"That old guy has to be feeling good in the inside." Killua is totally not surprised.
"But at a time like this?!" Wendy questions dramatically.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Kurapika murmurs.
Back on the platform, "Then let's bet on whether I'm a man or a woman." Leroute bets with a hand on hip.
"Huh?" Leorio is confused.
"What's wrong? Is there a problem?" Leroute asked.
"N-No." Leorio has no problems and closely looks at her, "She's obviously a women... or could she be a tranny? No, she's gotta be a woman."
"That's fine, but how will you prove if I'm wrong?" Leorio asks a good question.
"Oh, right... I'll let you examine every part of my body." Leroute touches her, "Until your fully satisfied."
"Seriously? Her body?" Leorio goes perverted mode and loves the idea, looking down at her breast.
"Leorio will bet that she is a man." Kurapika figures.
"Yep... it's already too much for him." Happy tries not to laugh.
"Huh? Why?" Gon questioned.
"Okay, I've decided. I bet ten hours that your a man!" Leorio points at her.
"I knew it." Kurapika wasn't surprised.
"Dirty old man..." Killua insults.
"He really wasted that bet." Happy wasn't surprised either
"Huh? But how did you know?" Gon asked.
"This way, even if I'm wrong and it turns out she's a female, I'll still get to examine her body, it's a win-win situation." Leorio thought, being perverted, "Actually, please be wrong..."
"It's best if you don't look on this one." Happy whispers to wendy.
"?" Wendy doesn't get it, but then realizes what he means, "Wait... he's not gonna do what I think he's gonna do?!" She exclaims.
"You guessed it." Happy nods while flying a little.
"There you have it." Killua was done explaining to gon as well.
"I get it now." Gon replied to him.
"Okay! Reveal the answer!" Leorio demands and is excited.
"Too bad... I'm a woman." Leroute reveals.
"R-Really?" Leorio's perverted self is delighted to hear that.
"Uh-oh, hear it comes." Happy looks on, as well as the rest.
"Would you like to check?" Leroute offers with a finger on her lips.
"B-B-But of course!" Leorio can't control himself and goes for it.
He touches every part of her body and is loving it before the screen changes 8020.
He walks back with a man full of delight, "A mistake I will never regret." He thought.
Just watching hurts..." Kurapika isn't surprised at all, same with killua, while gon has his mouth wide open in surprise, whiling wendy has her hands over her face, blushing at what she just saw.
"And the funny part is, she let him do." Happy wasn't surprised either, "Now he's complete not in the game."
"He's gonna lose..." Tonpa smirks with his arms crossed, "The oppoent has seen through leorio's strategy. He's been betting conservatively, to minimize damage from either outcome. A gambler who focuses on avoiding a loss won't ever win. I guess he just doesn't have what it takes."
Leroute rubs herself from his touches, "As expected. His approach to gambling doesn't frighten me at all. He'll never beat me that way."
"Now it's your turn to think if a gamble." She says, "What do you want to bet on?"
Leorio snaps out of smitten mode and looks at the screen, "This is no time to celebrate. I only have ten hours left..."
"Leorio has no more room for error." Kurapika says, "If he loses this wager, then the score will be 3-2. and we will have fifty fewer hours to escape this tower"
"If only he didn't waste that first one on touching her." Happy crosses his arms.
"That was disgusting..." Wendy murmurs and blushes.
"Don't worry, try to forget about that." Killua whispers to her.
"Leorio..." Gon wonders what's on his mind.
"I can't lose the next bet, But I can't think of anything that'd be a surfire win..."
Leorio thinks, but then thought of something, "I got it! We can bet on whether I'm a man or woman. No, that wouldn't work..."
"Hey, old man... you're thinking out aloud." Killua tells him.
Gin has an idea, "Leorio!"
"Huh?" Leorio turns to him.
"How about a bet on whether or not you're still in your teens?" Gon suggests.
"Oh, that's a great idea!" Wendy agrees.
"That'll be a hard bet for her." Happy likes the idea.
"Come on, guys!" Leorio exclaims and points to himself, "I don't look that old...I'm clearly a teenager!" The sound of that surprises leroute since she thought he was an old man.
"Oh come on, that was the only good bet that would of worked, now she knows." Happy says, and the rest agree.
"Right! In that case, we'll use rock-paper-scissors! A bet on who'll win a game of rock-paper-scissors!" Leorio challenges.
"Sure." Leroute chuckles.
"Rock-paper-scissors?" Wendy questions at that, wonder why he picked that.
"Why did he have to pick such a difficult wager?" Kurapika doesn't get it.
"Huh? Rock-paper-scissors is hard?" Gon asked.
"I happen to be quite confident in my rock-paper-scissors skill. Just recently, I won a gourmet vacation in a tournament in the shopping district." Leorio thought and is confident it in,
"Okay then, I'll put eighty hours on my victory." Leroute says.
"E-Eighty hours?" Leorio is surprised.
"Is something wrong?" She questions, "I'm free to bet as much as I want."
"W-well that's true." Leorio has no choice but to accept it.
"And if you lose, I can still only take ten from you. Don't worry." She explains.
"She doesn't need to bet eighty hours, ten would suffice." Leorio thought and sweat anxiously, "What if she loses? Or is she that confident?"
"As anticipated, he is stressing out. This will be easy." She thought and smirks.
"While rock-paper-scissors has simple rules, the game itself is quite complex." Kurapika explains, "If you consider the game from a probability standpoint, there's only a one-third chance of losing. However if your opponent can predict your reasoning and control your reactions, defeat becomes much more likely."
"In other words..." Wendy trails.
"Simple-minded leorio will be at a disadvantage." Killua finishes.
"Oh, I see." Gon gets it.
"All right! I've made my decision" Leorio decides before leroute walks up to him and smirks, "What?"
"It's obviouis what you'll use." She says, which surprises him, "I can read minds."
"Liar!" Leorio points at her, "Your bluffing won't scare me!"
You'll find out soon enough." She assures him, which stress him out, "As planned he's losing his cool over a blatant lie."
"She can read minds? She has to be lying..." Leorio thought, "But, what if she's telling the truth?" he looks at his hand.
"Her reading minds is definitely a lie..." Happy states.
"And he's getting nervous over it..." Wendy adds.
"Leorio will use rock." Kurapika anticipates.
"Huh?" Gon questioned.
"Let's go." Leroute and leorio both throw rock, tying each other.
"You were right." Happy was surprised.
"Good guess." Gon complements.
"Nervous people unconsciously avoid any action that involves opening up." Kurapika explains, "In other words, by making leorio uncomfortable, she ensures that he's less likely to use paper."
"Then he needs to stop being uncomfortable." Happy says.
"So if she sticks with rock, then she's guaranteed a win or draw." Wendy gets it.
"As I was explaining, rock-paper-scissors is actually a mind game." Kurapika explains to gon.
"Now I see." Gon gets it and turns back to the game.
"A-ha! So you were lying about being about to read my mind!" Leorio points and catches on to her, "If you really could, you'd have won, Right?"
Leroute chuckles at that, "What's so funny?" Leorio questioned.
"I deliberately gave you that tie." She lies.
"Quit lying!" Leorio doesn't believe her.
"Did you forget? We're trying to stall you here." She reminds him, "If I chose to indefinite series of draws..." Leorio starts stressing, "But that wouldn't be any fun. So I'll end this with the next turn." She smirks and that causes leorio to really start freak out, "Well, what will you use next? Come on, think hard, heheheheh."
"Damn!" Leorio clutches his head an nervousness.
"It's obviously a lie, but he's falling for it." Wendy murmurs.
"I'm not even that surprised." Killua murmurs back.
"We all know that women can't read minds." Happy knows it, "Hey, dude! get a hold of yourself, she's justing messing with you!" He yells out.
"I know, I know!" Leorio yells back, "I just... gotta think." He isn't sure.
"Worrying. Fretting. When someone loses confidence, they crave reassurance. That makes him more likely to use the same hand, or, in an effort to regain his confidence, to use a stronger one than in the previous round."
"So... she really wants him to choose either rock or paper." Wendy figures.
"That's about the size of it." Killua agrees.
"Yes. If she uses paper, she's certain not to lose." Kurapika anticipates as they look on.
"Then leorio just needs to stay a step ahead." Gon gets it and turns to kurapika.
"That is if he stops stressing out so much and stay calm." Happy crosses his arms.
"Yeah, that might work." Kurapika agrees.
"Then he just needs to throw scissors." Wendy murmurs and gon had the same idea.
"Leorio!" Gon calls.
"What is it now?!" Leorio turns to him.
"Hey, you'll win if you go with scissors next!" Gon advises.
"What? really?" Leorio turns back to leroute.
"Go ahead and try." She dares him to do it.
Leorio sweats and starts thinking, "She'll throw rock if I do that. No, she'll go a step further and choose paper. Wait, then she'll take another step and use scissors... No, no, then she'll take another step and use rock..." He snaps out of his thoughts and clutches his head, "Man! I have no idea what to think!"
"Don't think about at all! Just do it!" Happy yells and advises.
"Here we go!" Leroute calls it, they throw their hands forward and she throws paper while leorio throws rock instead of paper.
The screen changes to 100 00 and leroute wins.
"Hahahahaha. I win!" She spins around in victory while leorio drops to the ground in defeat.
"I told him." Happy sighs.
"Guess the game really is complicated." Gon says with his hands behind head.
"Now it's 3-2" Killua says.
"We have to win the next two and not lose again." Wendy agrees.
"Worse yet, we have to give up the fifty hours he lost." Kurapika states before leorio came back over to their side.
"Sorry guys, and I was confident in my rock-paper-scissors skills, but..." Leorio trialed.
"That sure was pathetic." Tonpa crosses his arms, unimpressed.
"What?!" Leorio turns to him, annoyed.
"I think everyone here agrees that was pitiful." Happy shakes his head unimpressed.
"Grrr... guess I can't argue with you there." Leorio gives up and admits it.
As leroute made it back to her side, "We're now in the lead, with just one more win and it's a done deal." She looks at another prisoner, a fat female one.
"Then I'll finish this one for us so our sentences can be reduced." She walks forward and unshackles herself and takes off her cloak, name Sara.
"Alright, there's the next prisoner, we gotta win two in a row on this one." Kurapika reminds, "Who's next?"
"Guess I'll go next." Wendy steps up.
"You sure, wendy?" Leorio questioned.
"It's fine." She turned to him, "We need two more wins, so me and Killua are left to secure it."
"She's right." Happy tells him.
"You got this." Killua encourages and she nods before going to the platform.
"I wonder what type of majority rule this will be." Kurapika wonders.
"Who knows..." Gon replied.
As wendy and sara were on the platform, "A little girl, huh? I'll shorten the majority rule to make it easy on ya." Sara smirks, thinking she'll win.
"There she goes." Leroute isn't impressed at her behavior.
"It's her underestimating side." Sedokan says and isn't surprised either.
"It'll be one that doesn't involve fighting." Sara explains with a finger up.
"Phew, that's a relief cause I'm not much of a fighter." Wendy is relieved, "I certainly want to avoid anyone dying."
"I can tell." Sara figures, before the platform floor opens and up comes two huge tree branches.
"Huh? Branches?" Wendy is confused.
"What are they gonna do with those?" Kurapika questions.
"The majority rule is to see who can smash them first. you can surrender if you decide to give up." Sara explains, "Of course, you can use anything."
"Smashing branches?" Gon questioned.
"I see, so she's giving herself an advantage." Kurapika gets it.
"Huh?" Leorio questions.
"She can tell wendy isn't strong so she's really trying to make it easy for herself." Kurapika explains.
"It's similar to gon's match." Happy compares.
"I don't think strength matters so we'll see and find out." Killua says.
Wendy thinks about it and, "Okay, I'll accept."
"Heheh, okay then let's begin." They both go up to their set and Sara begins using a baseball bat to smash them down.
Wendy looks at how Sara is smashing them and thinks, "Oh no, and I have no strength like that so what should I..." She then thinks of something, "Wait! I know what to do, it'll be risky, but it's now or never."
"I wonder what wendy's thinking..." Leorio wants to know.
"I think she has some sort of plan." Happy figures and Kurapika nods in agreement.
"But she has no physical strength to smash those branches." Tonpa says with his arms crossed.
"I know she's got a plan." Killua says and Gon nods as well.
Sara is almost finished with smashing the her set of branches and looks over at wendy and sees that she has started yet, "Looks like she's thrown in the towel."
Wendy then hurls her head back and puffs her cheeks.
"Huh?" Sara questions.
"What is she doing?" Leorio questions in surprise.
Wendy then hurls her head forward, "SKY DRAGON: ROAR!" She releases a sky hurricane and sends the branches flying into the ceiling, smashing them into bits and down the platform.
"What?!" Sara couldn't believe that wendy could do that and smashed her set of branches.
Leorio, kurapika, and tonpa were also very surprised that she could do that, Gon also had his mouth open in surprise, while Killua smiled in delight, knowing she had a plan.
"Geez, well I didn't think she was gonna go for that." Happy was a little surprised she went that far.
"Okay! How did she do that?!" Tonpa exclaims.
"She has sky dragon slayer magic." Gon replied.
"Huh?!" Tonpa is still shocked.
"When you mentioned that she was, I didn't think she could do this though!" Leorio exclaims to happy.
"Well now you do." Happy raises a paw.
"Imagine if someone got hit with that? They would be blown back a long distance." Kurapika thought.
"Phew. Okay, so that means I win!" Wendy is proud of herself.
"That can't be... she smashed them in one move." Sara sits down in defeat as the score changes on the screen to 3-3 before they walked off the platform.
"Good job tying us up again, wendy!" Leorio congratulates, "Now we need one more win and we advance."
"That was a good move." Killua complimants her and she responds with a smile, which makes him blush.
"Hmm?" Gon notices killua blushing.
"I-It's nothing." Killua turns his head away embarrassingly.
"Oooohhh, I see what's going on." Happy smirks and notices as well.
On the prisoner side, "I thought I had that one in the bag... but I didn't think she could do something thing like that." Sara is dramatically down.
"That took some of us by surprise as well but that's what you get for underestimating her." Majitani berates her.
"No kidding, that cockiness lead to you losing and making us tie again." Larry says.
"Say, how much time do they have left now?" Leroute speaks to bippo through the Intercom.
"Fifty-nine hours, forty-five." Bippo responses as he's eating potato chips.
"Which means, they have fewer than ten hours left." Bendot gets it.
"It doesn't matter how much time they have left." The last prisoner in the back of their side speaks up, "Because my opponent will die.
"It's finally time for the last round." Kurapika says
"Aye, it comes down to this one." Happy agrees while on kurapika's shoulder.
"It's up to you now, killua." Wendy looks at him.
"Guess I'm off." Killua has hands in pocket.
"What? Killua?!" Leorio bends over dramatically.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Killua questions him.
"If only I had one my match! Damn it..." Leorio sulks over it.
"It was such an easy match too." Happy isn't impressed with him.
"Gon... This guy is totally pissing me off!" Killua exclaims and points at leorio.
"Now, now." Gon and wendy clams him down.
"We can't give up before we know what the contest. But, if it's math then I'm definitely surrendering." Killua declares and turns his head, a little embarrassed he said his weakness.
"Well, everyone's not good at math." Wendy assures.
"Doubt that'll be what it is since they prisoners are more like physical types." Happy doubts.
"That's right! Depending on the opponent, we still have a chance!" Leorio gets it, "
On the other side, "That little silver haired kid is their last member to go up." Bendot says with his arms crossed, "Never thought I'd see him fall prey to that monster." He looks back at the last prisoner.
"It's a real pity too." Larry agrees.
"Poor thing, he still so young." Leroute pities.
"I didn't want to use him, but it's the hunter exam, so there's no mercy." Lippo speaks on the intercom, "It's fate if he dies."
He then removes the last prisoner's cuffs, which cause the other prisoners to step back a little frightened.
"Ha! He doesn't look that tough, you guys are getting too scared..." Majitani walks up to him without fear.
"You idiot!" Bendot insults.
"Stay away from him!" Sara warns him.
By the time he walks up, "Is he really that scary? It's all just ancient history." Majitani looks at him, but only to be grabbed by the face and slammed against the wall, which shocks the prisoners.
"That's what he gets..." Larry says, startled.
He then digs his hand into the wall and rips all the rubble off, in which Bendot moves out of his way as he walks by. When he makes it to the edge and the group is surprised at his appearance. The last prisoner then takes off his cloak, and Leorio recognizes him.
"That guy..." Leorio trails.
"You know him?" Gon questioned.
"We should take the loss." Leorio suggested.
"Wha-Why?" Happy questioned.
"Killua! Don't fight him." Leorio again suggested.
"Why not?" Killua asked and doesn't get it.
"Johness the dissector, the worse mass murderer in zaban's history." Leorio describes him, "He chose his victims randomly. It was a famous case... 146 people, men and women, met with brutal deaths by his hand."
Then he's insane!" Happy dramatically exclaims.
"The victims had one thing in common. He only used his bare hands to murder them." Leorio continues, "His iron grip made him well known, the power in his fingers."
Johness crushes a rock with his bare hands as he's up, "It's been a long time since I touched human flesh."
"You don't have to face against that psychopathic Killer. There's always next year." Leorio warns him.
Killua doesn't listen and just walks towards the platform with a straight face and without fear, hands in pocket and doesn't care.
"Damn it, is he even listening to me?!" Leorio frustratingly wonders.
"Calm down dude, he might have a plan." Happy says.
"Yes, we should let him go." Kurapika agrees.
Gon and wendy just look on, knowing what skills Killua has in store.
Killua and Johness stare each other down before Killua speaks first, "So, how are we settling this contest?"
"Contest? I believe you are confused. This massacre will be one-sided." Johness deeply declares, "I have no interest in this exam or care if my sentence is reduced. I just want to hear the sound of your scream."
"Really? Okay. Then the one who dies is the loser." Killua sets it instead.
Johness is a little surprised at his fearlessness, "Yeah, that's right." Johness sticks his hand forward, "Your body will be torn apart." As he sticks his hand out towards the him, killua's eyes turn cold and he goes up to Johness in a flash and does something, much to the surprise of everyone on both sides.
It is reveal that Johness has a hole in his chest, "W-what? I'm so cold." He clutches his chest and turns around to Killua, who reveals to have stole the man's heart and has it in a bag, showing it to him whiling smirking, "T-That's... mine... give it back..." Johness demands slowfully as he struggles to walk over as his heart is beating. After a few seconds, it then stops and Johness falls over to the floor, dead. Killua bends down and puts his heart on his corpse palm, therefore, ending the match as their side changes to 4.
Killua turns over to bendot, "Okay, that's 4 wins and 3 losses. We pass right?"
"Yeah, you win." Bendot hesitantly replied.
"By the way, you much be itching to come and fight me since you didn't get to fight at all." Killua gives a smirking sinister look, "Wanna come over here and play?"
"I'll abstain." Bendot frighteningly declines.
"Oh, okay." Killua shrugs and heads back to his side.
"Who is he?" Leorio questioned in totally surprise.
"I don't get it, how'd he do that?" Happy couldn't believe it either.
"Oh, gon, they don't know yet." Wendy murmurs to him.
"Don't know what?" Leorio questions.
"Yeah, that's right." Gon turns to them and then explains, "Killua comes from an elite family of assassins."
"Elite family of assassins?!" Happy and Leorio exclaimed.
"I'm back." Killua pulls up
Leorio is started by him, "Huh? What?" Killua questioned with a straight face.
"Nothing... well, good job!" Leorio hesitantly congratulates.
A door then opens on the right side of the area and a bridge leads to it, Lippo explains through the intercom that that'll find a small room and that they must spend the fifty hours they gambled away there.
"Well, let's go." Killua alerts them.
"Yeah." Gon and wendy nodded as the group then proceeded on out of the platform, leaving the prisoners behind.
A few minutes later, they make it to the room and the fifty hour timer begins.
"Good grief, now we have to spend two days in this room." Leorio goes to sit down on the couch.
"Sigh, Aye." Happy flies over and sits down as well.
"Hey, killua." Kurapika says something.
"Huh?" Killua turns to him and questions.
"Can you tell me how that technique works?" Kurapika curiously asked.
"Technique?" Killua questioned.
"The one you used to instantly remove his heart." Kurapika corrects.
"Oh, well that wasn't even a technique." Killua replied.
"Huh? Not a technique?" Wendy was confused.
"I just ripped it out." Killua says.
"Ripped it out?" Kurapika doesn't get it.
"It made it easier, I manipulated my body a bit." Killua reveals his claws.
"Y-your nails..." Leorio is surprised.
"Wow!" Gon beamed.
"How can you even do that?" Happy questions in surprise.
"Mass murders are only amateurs." Killua smirks before pointing at himself, "I use to be a professional. But my old man would of done it way better. When he removes a heart, you won't see a drop of blood."
"How reassuring." Leorio gets it now.
"And scary, now we definitely know not to drive him crazy." Happy agrees.
"And Wendy." Kurapika looks at her next.
"Hmm?" Wendy questioned.
"The way you fired that hurricane magic attack from your mouth was actually amazing." Kurapika compliments.
"You think so?" Wendy is happy to hear that.
"Yeah, that was a nice shot." Killua agreed.
"Honestly, who knew a little girl can do that." Leorio was a little surprised.
"Now it makes me wanna learn magic." Gon beams.
"Uh... we'll see on that I guess." Wendy sweat-drops and giggles.
"I doubt that since he has no magic power at all." Happy murmurs to himself.
"Good thing these two are on our side." Kurapika thought and smiles.
"Well then, we have two days in here." Killua looks at the hours.
"So what should we do?" Gon questioned.
"We search the room for any kind of entertainment." Killua suggested.
"Good idea!" Wendy agrees and so did Gon before they ran across the room.
"Man, you kids don't have a care in the world." Leorio comments on their energy.
"Let them be. I'd join them... but I'm tired so it's nap time." Happy lies down with his bag as a pillow. Kurapika and tonpa also sits down somewhere while the kids do their own thing.
