"Betty, stop for a second!" said Noah while grabbing her wrist to stop her in the hall just outside the bridge.
"What are you doing, the bridge is just up ahead," said Atomic Betty.
"And you need to calm down before we go in there," said Noah.
"I get that you're mad; heck, I'm mad that this guy showed up and put our friends and families in danger," he said.
"But letting that anger cloud our judgment before going to confront Lord Shatter could end up just putting everyone in even more danger," said Atomic Betty, who got what he was trying to say. She then closed her eyes while taking some deep breaths to calm down.
"Okay, I'm ready," she said after a minute.
"That's more like my girlfriend," said Noah before giving her a kiss.
"Now let's end this," he said. With that said, the two then charged into the room where they found Lord Shatter standing at the window with his back to the door.
"I've been waiting for the two of you," said Lord Shatter.
"Call back your robots and then we can talk, otherwise I will blast you," said Atomic Betty as she aimed a laser gun at him.
"I can't call my robots back, but I'm guessing the reason you want to talk to me is to ask where my crew is since you found no one on your way where, right?" asked Lord Shatter who finally turned around to face them.
"You're right, we couldn't help but notice the lack of anyone else on board the ship, and we know that the robots were void of anyone to pilot them so where are the others?" asked Noah.
"Oh, I assure that the robots do have pilots, they just aren't in them the same way that you think they would be," said Lord Shatter.
"You mean that your people's minds are part of the robots' programing?" asked a horrified Atomic Betty.
"That's exactly what I mean," said Lord Shatter.
