Rain Dance The winds getting colder

Night is falling

The moon has grown

The crickets are calling

Tonight is the night

For the rain Spirits dance

Testing the silence

With conspicuous chants

They dance in the moonlight

Under the sky

Singing of starlight

For rain clouds they cry

For someone to listen

Without a trained ear

The howling of wind

Is all they shall hear

Falling rain as their music

Their dance floor, the sky

They sing in the treetops

By starlight they fly

The Rain Spirits scatter

If humans draw near

But if one is worthy

The Spirits appear

Those that are chosen

Are a precious few

But lucky are those

The Spirits appear to

When the rain is done falling

Morning mist does appear

The dancing will cease

The sun shall shine clear

The Spirits are gone

For the next few weeks

Till the ground becomes dry

And the flowers grow weak

And if by some chance

You hear the wind blow

Step outside you door

And look for their show

If the moon has grown

And the air is right

The Spirits will come

To dance in the night

Maybe by chance

Deep I the mist

The Rain Spirits will invite you

To join in their bliss
