Welcome Back, Last time we had a bit of world building and Saturn got stabbed. This time, Saturn and Glim explain how they met
Open on Glim, Twilight, Festivia, Luster, Marco, Star and Spike at the table, Saturn walked in with a tray of drinks, handing them out before sitting down
"...It technically started days ago in another timeline" Glim began, the camera fading to a bob haired Starlight confronting Twilight and Spike in a wasteland.
"You're really that important to Equestria?" Starlight or rather past Glim asked
"Every friend group is" Twilight says
"...Fine, keep the rainboom, I have something else planned" Starlight replied, her horn glowing as she faded away.
The camera then cut to a younger Saturn in a house with a caucasian woman with blonde hair and green eyes, next to her was a tanned man with gray hair. They both wore a shirt and jeans.
"Connor, the mail came…there's something for you" the woman said
"Thank you mom" He said, taking an envelope and opening it, there was a letter and a pair of scissors which opened automatically and cut a portal, sucking him in and closing
"I'll call Ted at the FBI" the man sighed, the camera faded to Glim in a white room, a man with curly gray hair. He wore a black coat and pants.
"Bonjour, Madam Glimmer" He said
"...Hi?" She asked "How do you know my name"
"I know many things, after all, I'm the one who gave you that spell" He said "My name's Q ... .well, that simplifies it a bit."
"Wait" she looked him up and down "You're a human"
"Not at all" he snapped and in a flash of light formed into a chimera of different creatures "I need a favor, and I know that you need to get back at princess twilight…perhaps we could make a deal, mon capitaine" he said
"...What do you want?" Starlight asked
"It's rather…unorthodox, but I want to form a wrestling promotion, I need a general manager, if you could do this, I will let you find the strongest warrior of the group to face Twilight" Q said
"Deal" She nodded, the camera fading to an empty arena, well, not really empty, there were many creatures, humans, mewmans, pegasi, unicorns, earth ponies, monsters and more all scared and yet intermingling
"What the fuck?" Saturn asked before seeing the entryway and walking backstage to a hallway. Straight ahead was a door that said the GM's office was closed. The camera cuts to Glim who wakes up again to see she's sitting in an Equine accessible office. The door slammed open and Saturn walked in
"What the fuck" he shouted when he saw glim
"What are you?" The two asked each other
"YOU CAN TALK?!...WHO DYED YOU PURPLE?" Saturn asked
"I'm Magenta!" She replied
"You can talk….Mick must have slipped something in my drink" Saturn said "I'm going crazy…next you're gonna say you can do magic"
Glim proceeded to float an alarm clock with her horn, stone faced
"I'm going crazy!" he said
"Calm down" Glim replied
"Ok…My name's Connor, what's yours?" Saturn asked
"Starlight Glimmer" she said
"You're joking"
"Starlight is a perfectly good name"
"It's a pet name…like Glim" Saturn replied "...I got this note, are you the General Manager?"
"...I guess" She said
"Ok, I'll wrestle a bit" Saturn replied "...but I'm getting paid."
"...I'll see what I can do" Glim responded
"Do you mind if I call you Glim?" Saturn asked
"...No" she replied after hesitating
"See you around," Saturn said, closing the door and walking away. Q appeared
"It looks like you have a friend" He smirked
"Don't say that, then he'll leave like Sunburst did" Glim replied, Q disappearing and Saturn walking back in
"Hey Glim….everyone's scared out there, can you tell them everything's ok, Stone Cold Steve Austin is trying to start a riot" Saturn said "He's on top of a Pegasus drinking a keg….could you tell them what's going on?"
"There's no humans out there…right?" She asked, taking Saturn aback.
"Wha-what?" he asked "Why do you ask"
"...You don't know?" She asked
"No?" Saturn replied
"Humans hunted Ponies before Princess Celestia banished them to the dirt dimension" Glim replied
"Earth….you mean earth. That's where they banished me" Saturn sighed "Humans aren't as evil as you think. Well a majority aren't. Look, if you want me to go with you to protect you I will"
"What, why?" Glim asked
"Well, i've seen enough princess movies babysitting for cash to know that Unicorns are seen as symbols of purity….that being said, you're probably your own person" Saturn said "I have to go use the little monsters room, i'll be back" he left the room, closing the door, Q appearing
"I think he likes you" He teased
"Maybe he does" she grinned slightly
The camera cut to the group sitting at the table
"...Q" Saturn said "Have you seen Q recently?"
"He's Discord" Glim replied
"How have you never told me this?" Saturn asked concerned
"I've told you many, many times. " Glim sighed "...a bit after that there was a knock on the door"
The camera cut to glim in her office, a loud knock being heard before a man in face paint with a beard that was shaved into lines, wearing a fishnet shirt walked in
"Are you Glim?" He asked
"...Yes" She said after hesitating
"Jeff. Connor told me you were the general manager" He said "This is kinda weird, I've never met a Unicorn before…no offense"
"...None taken, My associate who wants to just not be here ... .gave me this booking sheet." She said, floating a sheet of paper over to Jeff who read it.
"That looks solid." He replied "...I'll tell the boys, you and Connor can be alone for a bit"
"Wh-why would we want to be alone?" she stuttered and blushed, the blush was so hard it was noticeable through her fur. Mina walking in.
"YOU!" She said "You're why I'm here!"
"...yes" She replied
"You're the ding dong who put the crystalized monster smoochers in the break room!" Mina said
"...Monster, Like Connor?" Jeff asked
"I don't care what monster, they all need to di-"
"WHOA" Jeff said, slamming the door in her face. Saturn entering through another door.
"Hey. Are these donuts free?" He asked, Mina rushing towards Saturn who instinctively reached out an arm and hit a clothesline. Mina toppling over.
"Yes the donuts are free in the breakroom" Glim replied "Did you notice anything weird there?"
"...Yeah, I did" Saturn replied "I don't know them, I don't trust them…..Jeff, could you give us a moment?"
"...Yeah, sure" he nodded walking away.
"...I never introduced myself, I'm Saturn….but you can call me Connor" Saturn said "So, uh…what planet are you from?"
"Equestria…" Glim said "You?"
"I was raised on earth, with the humans and all those dude's you're scared of" Saturn said "My real parents lived in a place called Mewni. I don't know much about it, I was told they were evil."
"I understand that a little bit, I never knew my mom" Glim replied
"I hope i'm not prying too much, what about your dad?" Saturn asked
"He never really was there, He was always was trying to preserve the history of the town and be mayor" Glim explained
"...I'm sorry, that's..I can't even think about that." Saturn slumped. "Any friends?"
She hesitated "No"
"Me neither" Saturn replied "Well, not many."
"My best friend, Sunburst was sent to Princess Celestia's school for magically gifted unicorns…then" She sighed "I wasn't able to make any other friends until I started my town….then Princess Twilight had to ruin it with her Friends"
The camera cut to a confused Star, Marco and Luster looking at Saturn, Fest and Glim while Twilight and Spike were in the kitchen.
"You were angry at dad?" Luster asked
"You had a town?" Star asked
"It was more like a cult" Saturn replied, Glim sighed "It's….a hard subject."
"Can we move on?" Glim asked
"Yeah" Saturn said, the camera cutting back to the past counterparts
"...Glim, There's a saying where I come from, you scratch my back, i'll scratch yours. I'll be your friend and beat the shit out of twilight, you, I dunno." he said
"You'd help me?" Glim asked
"Why not?" Saturn asked "It'll be a hell of a story to tell, I helped a Unicorn with a bad haircut"
The camera cut to the table where Glim floated the plates into a pile, "after a while, and some of Saturn's matches, we held a tournament to crown the multiverse champion" She explained "Saturn was…abrassive at the time"
"What do you mean?" Twilight asked, trotting into the room
"Well, I pointed out how shitty Equestria is for one" He said
"...And Mewni, you went to Canterlot with an american flag with New York playing" Glim said
"Can I see one of dad's matches?" Fest asked
"You're a little young Corncob" Saturn said "Tell you what. I'll get the dishes then we'll hook my phone up to the TV. I have some clips in google drive"
The camera cut to a hospital room, where Solaria was unconsious in a cast, a doctor came in with Eclipsa following behind
Solaria opened her eyes "Whe-where am I?"
"Mother." Eclipsa said
"Th-that beast, where, where is it?" She asked, struggling to get up
"Why are you going after Saturn? Are you really still that hate filled?" Eclipsa asked her mother
"Why did you let a monster infect you?!" Solaria shouted
"Infest me? Globgor and I are married!" Eclipsa replied
"Globgor? The plucker of limbs?" Solaria asked
"He's a sweetheart, unlike you. I told Shastacan that he shouldn't have paid for your care" Eclipsa replied, the room fell silent "Goodbye...Solaria" Eclipsa walked away as the camera cut to a meeting room, sitting with Flair and Shastacan
"...You're saying that Saturn Butterfly, the alien superhero, is Flair's nephew?" Vince asked
"Yes" both Flair and Shastacan nodded
"And the undertaker is targeting him because he's the chosen one?" Vince asked
"Look at Vince catch up" Flair said,
"Can we hurry this up, I need to meet up with Celestia, Luna, My ex wife and Queen Moon" Shastacan said
"Can you guarantee that he'll be here Friday" Vince asked
"His daughter was crucified ... .he'll be here, I will too" Flair said "Are we done here?"
"See you Friday" Vince said, the camera cutting to Firelight polishing an artifact in a museum as a portal opened behind him, Fog pouring out as Undertaker, Mina and Ford walked out.
"The sins of the daughter, translate onto the father, as the darkness binds us, the will and purity of evil, breathes with us" Undertaker said, grabbing Firelight by the throat "For the sins of the dictator, the sins of our own, you will REST, IN, PEACE!" he said hitting a chokeslam, Undertaker turning his back "Enjoy yourselves….end him" Undertaker said walking away
The camera cut to Saturn setting up the TV upstairs, Star, Marco, Twilight, Spike, Glim, Pinkie who had appeared out of nowhere with Applejack and Rarity, Glim, Fest and Luster sat on the floor.
"Ok, So" Saturn turns on the TV "I called Rick, he's gonna be getting us some portal fluid in exchange for a picture with Morty. But he also said that this bad boy has the Pixtopia specs from our timeline. Intertimeline skype. Our subscriptions and all the channels"
"Can we get to see you wrestle?!" Pinkie and Star asked
"...In a minute" Saturn said flipping through channels, first was a younger Eclipsa and a mysterious twin, then there was an earth pony with an orange coat of fur and purple braided hair which became an Alicorn, finally was an episode of South Park. as Saturn began to switch the channel again manually the screen turned green with a white phone Icon, buzzing. Saturn sighed an answered it
On the screen appeared a yellow skinned man with bulging eyes, a long tube for a head, wearing a blue shirt, jeans and a top hat, he sat in a chair in a living room that was adorn with decorations, a wrestling championship on the wall, a family picture of Fest, Glim and Saturn on a coffee table and a couch.
"Mister Poopy Butthole?" Glim asked, Star giggling
"Star!" Saturn shouted
"OOOOH WEEEEE, Hi there guys, Rick told me some of what's going on." he said in a high pitched voice "Just know that Sandman and I are watching the house for you!"
"Hey Glim, your check bounced" A gray haired man in a Budweiser wife beater said, cracking open a beer. "Whoa, the whole crew's there ... .Tell Connor congrats on Dipping down, everything is good over here."
"Hey, Butthole. Nothing was destroyed right?" Glim asked
"No ma'am…well, the fridge is" He answered
"No parties?" Glim asked
"No" He replied
"And the shows are going good?"
"Very."
"Anything out of the ordinary?"
"Your dad's missing" Sandman said before taking a swig
"He's here" Saturn said
"Well, It was nice talking to you guys." Glim said "However we were gonna have movie night"
"No worries, we'll talk to you soon!" said before hanging up.
"Wowie, you guys know all sorts of creatures!" Pinkie said
"That Sandman guy scared me" Luster said
"Try getting stabbed by him" Saturn replied
"Saturn!" Glim said
"...let's just find a show" Saturn sighed "Or a movie. You guys like Movi-"
"Saturn, Match, NOW" Star said
"...Fine' He sighed, the camera cut to Luster's original dimension, where an older Starlight and Sunburst worked on a magic mirror, which was showing static, Sunburst poking it with his horn slightly and it booted up a menu screen
"We got it! We got it to work!" Starlight said. "Let's see TV, Call…OPERATOR" She pressed it with her hoof, the magic mirror screen switching to a pegasus mare with a headset on
"Hello, welcome to Pixcon Customer service. My name is Lightning Dust….what can I do for you?" She asked
"My daughter is stuck in another timeline with a human." She replied
"Alright, i'll transfer you to our interdimensional district" She said, the mirror switching to and Sandman
"Hey, Glim. Where'd everyone go?" Sandman asked
"Uh…hi…do you know a Festivia Butterfly" she asked
"...You're Luster's Mom right?" asked
"YES!" She replied
"Alright ... .let's transfer you over to Saturn and Glim" He said, transferring them over, the mirror switching to Glim, Saturn, Fest and Luster.
"Mom?!" Luster asked
"Sweet. We got an Address'' Saturn said "We'll bring her home Tomorrow Morning since it's getting late."
"We'll have everything ready for her" Sunburst said
"...wait" Fest said "Does this mean that I won't see Lust again"
"Fuck no" Saturn replied "That's what caused your mother's little Jim Jones phase"
"Saturn!" Glim said
"What do you mean?" Sunburst asked
"The town because of Celestia not letting you contact Glim which caused US a bunch of….it's a whole thing" Saturn said "I mean, they're like space cousins"
"Whole thing?" Sunburst asked
"Space Cousins?" Glim asked
"Because variants are like identical twins genetically….to a point" Saturn said
"Ah, makes sense" Glim nodded
"What?" Starlight asked
"We're like sisters to overly simplify it" Glim said
"Look, we'll keep in touch and visit for the kid's sake" Saturn said "Right now it's getting late, these two have to get to bed. Glim and I have work in the morning so we'll see you then"
"...Alright" The unicorn couple said, Saturn hanging up
"...You did well" Glim said
"You noticed" he replied
"You wanted to find Sunburst for years. I'm glad you handled it professionally" Glim said "Twi?" The camera panned out to Twilight hiding behind a bookshelf taking notes
"Twi, what are you doing?" Glim asked
"Taking notes" she replied
"...If you bring the girls up to bed we might bring you with" Saturn said
"Saturn and I need to be alone" Glim said with a wink
"Why?" Twilight asked "OH" she realized "Alright girls time for bed"
The camera cut one more time, to a lizard man in a suit waking up in Butterfly castle, an urn in front of him and a tapestry of the Undertaker to the side of him.
"Toffee. We have a common enemy, may the butterfly dynasty rest in peace" Undertaker said appearing behind him
"Who are you?" Toffee asked
"You will learn soon enough, Seth," Undertaker said, disappearing in a mist.
HOLY SHIT IT'S TOFFEE, AND WE'RE BACK, BUT I AM TAKING A HIATUS FROM WRITING TO WORK ON OTHER PROJECTS. I HAVE PLANS FOR THIS. I JUST AM STRUGGLING TO GET FROM POINT A TO POINT Z….WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?
