Half of this doesn't make sense… yet. And that's the point.

Most of the characters appearing in this interlude won't be appearing in this story but will play some parts in it.

(FFN edit: I can't fix the runes. it just doesn't work.)

Falling. Falling. And falling.

The ashen wanderer counted his time falling down the pit of endless darkness that was known as the 'Origin of Monster's'.

Turns out there were no monsters here. Only darkness because the monsters were the ones that betrayed him and pushed him into this pit.

Hah…

He would have escaped too, if not for the one that used doors as weapons transporting his ashes outside into space.

But, what was done was done. He should have known better than to trust the followers of the long gone god.

Atleast I still have you. He thought, clutching his grey stained greatsword into his arms.

It was the only thing left of him that was human after all.

He wondered if his fall would reach an end.

This was, the only dream he wanted to end after all.

*Crc—crack!*

"FFFFFFUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!" Glass Zwölftel screamed as he jumped from where he sat, sweat pouring as he grabbed ahold of his arms.

They were still there, so was his body.

What had he to worry about? The boggyman—

"HOLL—"

*S-LAP!*

The breaking of a door echoed throughout the dilapidated castle covered in shadows.

Dooemaker —Chaos— stood with a pair of —normal— oak wood doors in both hands, one already swung and the other shaking in his hands as a red aura surged from beneath his eyes.

His body was that of the original Dooemaker before his death, A young brown haired man who looked to be of British descent with green, sun patterned pupils.

His body was pale as a corpse, like it had been resurrected from the dead to take one last step.

He stared at the hole that had been made when he launched Glass through the castle walls for a moment—

A firm grip planted itself onto the fakes' left hand.

"You swung first." Glass' right hand was gripped onto Doormakers left hand as he extended his own away from his 'ally'.

The fist was clutched hard. Blood was drawn.

"It's only fair—"

The fist swung at Doormakers face.

*TWH—CK!*

Glass didn't let go of his grip.

He pulled his hand away right after swinging, getting into the same position as Doormaker did not raise his head.

"—I swing twice."

The fist swung again,

*TWH—CRCK!!*

This time the target countered.

"Hm?" Glass tilted his head as his fist broke from coming in contact with a —again, normal— oak wood door that had been pulled up by Doormaker to defend his face.

"Ah, Right." Glass pulled his fist back again.

"I can't feel pain outside Soulscapes."

I can't feel anything outside Soulscapes.

*TW—HCK!*

The first door broke.

*THW—CK!*

*TWH—CK!*

A second appeared.

*TWH—CRCK!*

It also broke.

*BA—CRCK!*

Doormaker blocked the fourth punch with esehis left palm, stopping it as it made contact imidiately.

"⸍ˎި וᛁ ᛙˎˎ⸌ᛁᚽ⸜ᛁ ᛍᚽᛁ⸌⸍."

Glass recoiled as Doormaker opened its mouth to speak, tumbling back before a sharp pain impacted his ribs (not that he could feel it).

One kick.

Doormaker put his foot on Glass' own, stopping him from stumbling back too much.

Chamber.

*TWHCK!*

He jabbed at Glass' liver with his left elbow—

Pull.

*TWACK!*

—Before bending down for a moment and then launching his palm upwards at Glass' chin, landing a clean hit while launching the boy upwards as the foot preventing his movement was lifted.

*Grab!*

Kick.

"Hgk—" Glass choked as Doormaker jabbed at his neck before jumping himself and interlocking his fingers behind the boy's head.

All in two seconds.

*TWC—

Doormakers knee was stopped mid strike by Glass' palm before—

—SSH—

Glass grabbed down at the lower parts of Doormakers left leg and swung him down onto—

—CRCK—

A door appeared where Doormaker was about to be slammed down onto, transporting him above Glass as the boy widened his eyes and tried to twist the fakes' leg in order to prevent what was about to happen.

—BAM!*

The breaking of his leg did not stop Doormaker from grabbing ahold of Glass' head once again and moveing his door's position forward and below the boy, making him spin around in mid air as Doormaker's upper body stayed above the floor and his lower body flew along with Glass before the boy let go due to dizziness and finally fell to the ground head first.

Why didn't his body rip in half as the doors moved positions you ask?

It did.

The movement of the two doors were instant, slicing his body in two.

But Doormaker didn't care enough for it as it isn't his body and it regenerates when in fatal condition so doing manoeuvres like those did not hinder him like they did to Glass, who, even though being incapable of feeling pain outside a Soulscape, still took damage from all harm done to him.

That's why he was knocked out right now and Doormaker was standing straight while redressing himself because he was split in two mere moments ago.

—!

"You two done?" Doormaker stopped mid dress as a tired voice penetrated through the silence from moments prior.

"Dreamer would have woken up if you two hadn't stopped ya'know?"

Step.

"Did you two get No•3's soul atleast? Dreamer has been getting his brain fried because you two couldn't do a stealth mission correctly."

Step.

"Ash betrayed us. Tried to stab me in the back so I threw him into the void well."

Step.

"No•7 and No•10 have been located. Wolf and Puppeteer's protege have been sent to capture them."

Step.

"No•1 has been temporarily erased from our list and No•0 has defended against our latest siege against him."

"We lost half of our… goons. No•0 lost… well… I think he's coming here soon."

Step. Poke.

"Now. Tell me, did you. Or did you not? Get No•4's soul?"

Black, cross shaped pupils stared into his own as Doormaker slowly shook his head in the negativ—

*C—RCK!!*

Two suns collided.

"I see." Black shifted to red. It's hands shook uncontrollably making Doormaker take a step back,

"Bring Glass to the Biological Inventory Token Cross Harverd on the lowest parts of the castle. I will need to fix his nerves first because he will die if we leave him like this. No, chop chop! I need sleep."

Doormaker nodded, following orders as the… thing shaped like a thirteen year old child with cross shaped eyes waddled away, avoiding the black coloured plates on the checkered floor.

*Ste—*

"Oh. And Chaos?"

Doormaker stilled.

Qlip turned a part of his face to peer the Chaos occupying it's fake body,

"Let sleeping deamon's lie. That's what you told me right? I just wanted to say: Follow your damn instructions."

And then he left, hopping away like a child who had gotten a new toy, leaving the soul inside it's fake body to crumble to the ground and grasp for… something.

"Oh. And I visited that world earlier. Very… intriguing."

If it could have had a heart attack, it would have died when Qlip's head popped up from the white tiles below him and notified of his presence during its mission.

There were only three rules that were known by everyone in its world.

Never piss off Dr.Hollows.

Never target Infa (II).

And never, ever in your right minds, make a deal with the deamon that broke through the twelfth voidless century.

Their… group had broken all of those rules atleast once.

Glass had pissed off Hollows by torturing No•6 —Form— two years ago.

Orimori and H.A.R.E.M had targeted Infa more than once and survived.

For two days atleast, because when Shino Hana wants to kill you.

He will kill you.

And finally… the deamon just left through the doors infront of it.

"We…" Glass' voice echoed throughout the hall. Looks like he'd calmed down enough to talk again, "Should see if Rick is awake. He should have more information than most of us considering he spent fourteen years inside that place."

It nodded and stood up with its 'ally'.

Glass sighed.

"I'm not sorry about that. I blame seeing Hollows to be a good reason for going insane for a moment."

Doormaker nodded. He would have probably gone into rage if the root of all his torture just appeared out of thin air infront of him.

"So… drinks on you?"

Doormaker turned to face the bloodied man staring at him with a deadpan expression.

"I can't feel it but I am able to know when all my bones break. Fragile body and all."

Doormaker sighed and flipped Glass off.

"Yeah. Thanks."

Doormaker turned around and began to walk out of the checkered room, stepping past the black floor plates and ignoring Glass' yelling for help.

"HEY I CANT MOVE— HEY CHAOS! CHAOS HELP ME! CHAOS NOOOOO!!"

It really did need that drink.

"..."

"..."

Dave stared back at the blue haired boy that he had raised three multiverses ago staring at him blankly.

"Dad?"

Nope.

Nopenopenopenopenope.

He was not paying child support for something he made four multiverses ago.

[Somewhere beyond the edges of time and space.]

"Hmm…"

"Zo-nii?"

"Its nothing Dizzy. I just felt a sense of… revenge…"

"Good kind or bad one?"

"The good one. I'll take you for more ice cream today because of that."

"Yay?"

[??(?)]

The man with white hair that had green strands spreading through it slowly put down a bouquet of flowers onto a grave, located in the middle of twelve more.

"Mother." He said softly, kneeling down to put his right hand ontop of the gravestone, making a veil of flowers spread above it.

"It's… been too long since we've talked hasn't it?" He chuckled, waving dust away from the grave as its occupants' name was revealed.

Marianne 'Todeswandler' Drittens.

Voidwalker, friend to Hollow.

'I WANTED A COOL LAST NAME DAMNIT!'

It was a perfect replica of the one he made in Fairyland.

He chuckled. His mother's last words to him were said to calm him down, to stop him from destroying all that he had created.

She was a kind woman indeed.

*Shuffle.*

"Oh, looks like she's having trouble getting here." He sighed, standing up and walking towards the forest of vines behind the grave.

"I'll go get her she's… clumsy— no that's not the right word… oh yes," Shino Hana opened the veil of vines that shielded the lone grave from a broken moon, "The right word. It's adapting, She's adapting to her new body."

He looked up at the broken moon with tired green and violet eyes.

"And I'm adapting to this newer world."

[Roman Rose.]

The tingling on the back of his neck grew, not letting him fall asleep.

Roman Gunlock —Or Rose now— stared at the ceiling above, lifting a hand and flexing it as a small handgun —Glock 19 modified— manifested onto it.

"I'm not getting any sleep…"

Going hunting was like sleep right?

His dad would understand.

[Issei Hyoudou]

He stared at the unconscious body of his brother laying on the couch that Rias had let them use in the Occult research club.

Kashin's body was pale, his hair was slowly turning white from its roots unnoticeably and it shook every few seconds.

Issei held back a sob at his brother's current state.

This wouldn't have happened if he was faster with knocking out Freed.

This wouldn't have happened if he hadn't talked to Freed.

This wouldn't have happened if he waited for Saji.

This wouldn't have happened if he killed Raynare that day instead of blinding her.

I couldn't even do that properly.

This wouldn't have happened if I was stronger.

The red gauntlet in his hands seemed to agree.

*Creeekk…*

"Saji?"

"Yeah?"

"I wanna punch something."

"You probably shouldn't, prez' still trying to explain things to her Rias after well…"

"I thought Rias knew about me?"

"She uh… sensed you— after using the boosted gear, from the school, I think everyone did after… what happened."

"Huh…" He leaned forward and placed his hand over Kashin's forehead.

Steady breaths. His body's getting cold—

No.

Nononononononononononononononononono—

"SAJI HEAL HIM!"

"Wha—"

"HIS TEMPERATURES GETTING LOWER!"

"Oh…"

"SAJI!"

"OH FUC— [VERTA!]"

[Deus (ex machina)]

"-and that's how Hollows got tortured during world war… what was it? Five? Ten? Oh yeah! Three. Fun right?" Deus laughed, grabbing the fake Order's head and—

*SVACK!*

—Smashed his knee into its nose. Breaking it.

"Now tell me who y'er wa'kin fo' ya' fuckn' illusionist." The cold steel of a gun pushed up against its head as the fake Order stared into his eyes.

"Nev—"

*BANG!*

"I got nine more guns and a hundred more healing Valor's… and a truth gourd that will make you reveal the truth. But that's for when I'm about to disappear."

*Crk.*

"Now."

*Sc-shk!*

"Heal."

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

Deaths walking away.

Past the bounds of time.

Into the world of wonders.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

Imagination, infinite.

World, finite.

Void, ꈼꇒꉣꁲꋊꂠꂑꋊꁅ.

Tick tock.

Tick.

Tock.

Tick.

Tick.

Tic—

"Why, hello there Dave. Care for coffee?"

"Briéte."

"Hm? Kay?"

"Vórtïgen."

"Clî?"

"Varliøkarìm."

"Oh…oh…OH… That's bad."

"Si. Völvare Iñfa."

*Click.*

"...Do I have to?"

"Yes. And now that you turned off your translator… WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU IN THE DAMN VOID DOORMAKER!"

"I was searching for… myself?"

"He's not in here! How many times have I told you that you fucking bastard."

"Uh…"

"Now get out. I need you to babysit my son."

"Wait your wha—",

Interlude done. Next is Bio's for Kashin, Zimmer, Deus and an explanation for Chaos and Order.

You're gonna see Issei's P.O.V of what happened pretty soon, maybe next week.
