Chapter Seven: Brandon, Ritchie and David, a past loosely connected and a part of the life of the Diabolus Twins in their home world.

The Guild of Divinus Magia stood in shock or confusion. The twins on the other hand nodded in understanding. Afterall has the guild leaders they had to know any information that was relevant to a guild members past in terms of their currant lives.

"So, it seems David has met his mother's counterpart…" Brandon smiled has he looked to his brother. Ritchie smiled has well knowing the same things about Emelia as his brother. Emelia looked at the version of her son before her, she could see the pain of loss in his eyes.

"Hello David, my name is Emelia, and I am your mother's counterpart from your guild leaders home world. Your mother and I were good friends and I'm sorry you had to lose her at such a young age…" Emelia smiled sadly at her counterpart's son.

David nodded sadly at his mother's counterpart. Despite it having been years since the death of his mother, he still felt the pain form her death just has strong has it had been the day she died. With that being said Emelia could tell this by the look on his face and hoped that she could at least give him closure.

With that in mind David and the rest of the guild had to wonder. How did Ritche and Brandon know David's mother's counterpart. However, before they could ask a hospital orderly came into the hall. She had auburn hair with blue eyes and wore the hospital uniform for orderlies. It wasn't fancy, just a turquoise with a white apron, a necklace with their id card on it, and brown boots. "Hello their everyone, my name is Charlene Harrison, I'm looking for the family of Amira Diabolus."

"That be us madam how is she?" asked Drake with a concerned frown. The orderly looked at the clipboard in her hand. She needed to make sure that she delivered all relevant information under the laws that she was under.

"Amira was in critical condition when she was brought in. However, we have managed to stabilize her to the point where she is somewhat stable. However, if there are complications she will return to critical condition. Therefore, we will need someone to monitor her at all times until we can be sure she will remain stable, so long has complications are still within the realm of possibility." Charlene explained with a frown.

"Do you know what's wrong, we were told that it had something to do with Lacriamas, but we aren't too familiar with Lacriama. All we know is that when forced into the body they can have different effects on it." Marcelina asked in a worried tone. The orderly looked at the clipboard for a moment before replying.

"So far, we aren't entirely sure. We are still running test to find out. However, based on the data from the test results that we already have we believe that the cause is a lack of magic prior to the Lacriama being forced into her body. Did anyone in your family practice magic before Amira? If so what kind of magic and what was their blood relation to her?"

"Well, me and my brother here are Devil Slayers, but we are older and to our knowledge our "Parents" don't have any magic. Me and my brother also didn't before coming here to Atlantide. The closet thing that we had back on Horedora were gifts which granted us powers." Ritchie explained with a frown at the thought of their birth parents.

The orderly looked at her chart and saw that this was correct. "I see… this could complicate things slightly. In our medical records it been known that Horedorians, especially those without gifts that later on got magic could experience situations similar to Amira's. In cases where a Lacriama was involved this was extremely true. It's also known that those that had gifts could experience complications when a Lacriama was forced into them it clashed with their gift. I'm going to have to ask that you tell me about your gifts and what they can do. However, before that I need to let Doctor Anthony Monroe know about this. I'll be back in about five minutes." The orderly left and the guild turned to talk with their guild leader.

"I have a question, what are "Gifts" and what can they do." Rosea asked the Twins with a wondering look on her face. Ritche and Brandon looked at one another. They didn't talk about their home world often, so it didn't surprise them that the guild members didn't know about their gifts, especially when they didn't use there's often since they weren't combat related.

"Gifts are powers that almost everyone in our home world had. Almost everyone had least one gift. They mostly received one by the age of six at the earliest and twelve by the latest. Some could end up getting more than one gift. These people were called "Multi Gifters". Every gift could be called upon at will." Brandon looked at his guild calmly.

Ritchie then picked up where Brandon left off. "Gifts can be really anything, there are a lot of categories of gifts could fall into. We won't get into them now because that would take too long. However what gift a person receives can be determined by a number of factors. Some of them being Genetics, birth order of siblings in a family and more. Going back to Multi Gifters, they are classified by the number of gifts they have. So, a Multi Gifter with two gifts would be classified has a Tier One Multi Gifter, one with three gifts would be considered a Tier Two Multi Gifter and so on."

Brandon then resumed his explanation with a nod. "For each gift the user is given a tier of mastery. The more control of a gift they have the higher tier they are assigned. The highest tire one can get is thirteen. It's very rare that one gets to the final tier on any gift. That's pretty much all you need to know about gifts."

"I see, that's interesting. Normally we don't get magic until we're six here in Terrarium. What are your gifts by the way?" David asked with curious look on his face. The rest of the guild shared this curiosity.

Those in the hall that were from Horedora looked at each other for a moment before deciding that there was no need to hide them here. "Well, I suppose I'll start us off, I am a tire one multi gifter. My first gift is called "Medical Sight" when activated it allows me to see the health and well-being of anyone I choose. If something's wrong with them, I can find out how to help them quickly. My second gift is called counterpart connection, it allowed me to contact my counterpart here in Terrarium when she was alive." Emelia smiled sadly at the thought of her old friend.

Drake went next with a frown. "My gift is called "Spirit Sense" I can sense spirits in the nearby area at will. I can also gather information from them should I wish to do so."

Marcelina decided to go next with a smile. She leans forward slightly, and wings appeared form her back. She then straightened back up to see the guild looking at her in shock. "My gift is called "Flight of the Angles". It gives me the ability to fly with angle wings."

Natalia did the same thing has her mother. "I am a tire two multi gifter. I have both my parent's gifts and one of my own. It's called "Moonlight Control" It allows me to control moonlight in the area around me."

The guild then looked at Ritche and Brandon as they were the only one who hadn't told them what their gift was. Ritchie decided to go first after a moment of thought "Me and my brother are tire one multi gifters. My gift is called, "Future Sight" it allows me to see into the future. However, the further into it I look the less accurate it gets. My second gift is one that I share with my brother. We call it "Twin Soul Connection" think of it like the "Twin Link" you'd read about in books or see on tv only amplified. Brother has spirt sense has well."

They spoke about the gifts in their native tongue of ancient Salodeian. They had taught it to all the guild members in case they had to talk about something sensitive to the guild. Knowing this the guild knew that they wanted this information to be kept secret from the public. It made since especially with Ritchie's gift. What dark guild wouldn't want a future seeing devil slayer?

A few minutes later Charlene came back and got the information needed and made sure that only those that needed to know would be able to access it. They waited awhile longer before the doctor came out.

He was a man in his early forties with a fair skin tone with green eyes and black hair. He wore a pair of black framed glasses and a turquoise button up shirt with gold buttons, blue jeans, a black belt to keep his equipment in and black boots. "Hello everyone, I'm looking for the family of Amira Diabolus."

"That would be us sir, how is she?" Asked Marcelina with a worried tone. The doctor looked at the clipboard he carried around and began to explain what he knew.

"Amira's condition has stabilized to the point where so long has there are no complications, we should be able to move her out of the PICU in a few days. There are a few things that we care concerned about that are keeping us from moving her out of their now. one of which is the condition of the cell she was in. From What Princess Leah told us it wasn't very sanitary. The Lacriama forced into her chest near her heart. Due to the condition of the cell and the lack of attendance to the wound she's developed an infection which could cause more complications if we don't treat it now. With that in mind we decided to give her some antibiotics and some probiotics to stabilize that. Has for the Lacriama itself that's what makes us more concerned. After some test we found that the Lacriama forced into her was a water devil slayer Lacriama." Doctor Monroe explained with a frown.

"That's not good, from what I remember reaper teaching us being a devil slayer could affect a child's development mentally. Especially if the demon is not taken care of quickly. Reaper taught us the seal that was used on us to seal ours. Maybe if we use that we could see if that stop the demon from doing anything?" Ritchie asked.

The doctor contemplated this for a moment. "If the seal is compatible with someone who didn't have any magic before hand it might work… However, it's possible that it won't work with her demon. If you could tell me the name of the seal, then maybe we could look into it and see."

"It's called the heavenly demon seal of the elements. The element changes based on the demon being sealed." Brandon nodded has he explained the seal. The doctor nodded then went back to check somethings. A few hours later Ritchie and Brandon were talking with their aunt and uncle about the seal.

"So basically, she's going to be asleep for the entirety of the procedure. This is so that we can be sure that her demon won't try anything to take control so she's the one sealed instead." Ritchie finished explaining to his aunt and uncle with a nod.

"Is it safe to perform the procedure now or should we wait for a moment?" Marcelina asked her nephews worriedly. Dr. Monroe was they're with them has he needed to determine of Amira was able to go through with the procedure.

"According to the documents I read on devil slayer magic it should be. However, where going to have to wait to make sure that the infection and wound from the Lacriama being forced into her. She should be okay so long has there are no complication before then." He smiled hopefully.

Later that day the rest of the guild had gone back to their home. Ritche, Brandon, Natalia, Drake, and Marcelina stayed at the hospital to look after Amira. Amira had been transferred to a pediatric unit for long term care patients since she would be there for a week at the most. The room wasn't any different from your typical hospital's. White walls, wooden floors, a window, hospital bed, medical chart and medical equipment could be found around the room. Ritche and Brandon wanted to meet their younger sister before putting the seal on her demon and to get to know her.

She hadn't woken up yet, but they were hopeful that she would in a few days. They did need to put her under for a while to operate on the area the lacriama was forced into because of the wound and the damage she sustained has a result. Thankfully the Lacriama had only been forced in the morning of the recue and because of that the lacriama wound wasn't to infected. It mainly spread form other wounds in the area that had been they're prior to the lacriama being forced into her. Ritchie and Brandon weren't surprised that she was still out cold it had taken them three days to wake up and a week to recover. Seeing has an Amira was younger than them she might need more time.

Soon enough, Amira was starting to show signs of waking up. At first the four-year old's were hazy but slowly opening. "Mama, Papa, Nata?" she called, seeing them though the haze that remained.

Marcelina went over to her niece with a relieved on her face. "Where here Amira, how are you feeling dear?" Amira looked around the room seeing her uncle and cousin along with two people she didn't know but recognized. She had heard much about them after all.

"Fuzzy…" Amira replied to her aunt's question. She still felt very tired, so it wasn't a surprise. Ritchie had already called for a nurse to come in and check on her and it wasn't long before they arrived.

The nurse was one that the Diabolus twins were familiar with from when a guildmember was unable to return to the guildhall and was in need of medical treatment that the guild infirmary just couldn't provide. She was a blond-haired woman with blue eyes. Her hair was tied back in a high ponytail with a turquoise ribbon and a braid that rapped around the ponytail, keeping her hair completely out of her way while she worked. She wore the standard hospital uniform for nurses which was a turquoise dress under a white apron with a utility belt to carry her medical tools in. Her name was Kathy Moran.

"Ah, good, your awake. I'll get Dr. Monroe and be right back." Kathy smiled happily at the patient. The family sat quietly waiting for the doctor to come and see Amira. Anthony quickly entered the room. The doctor checked over the girl seeing that she was well he left, and the brothers looked at their aunt and uncle for a moment. Has soon has they nodded the two brothers made their way to their bed.

"Hey their Amira. I'm sure that your aunt and uncle told you about us… We're your older brothers. My name is Ritchie, and this is my twin, Brandon." Ritchie smiled at the little girl in the bed has he sat at her side with his brother. Amira smiled at her brother.

A few days later Marcelina and Drake we're meeting with an attorney at the guild hall. It was the same lawyer that represented Ritchie and Brandon during their time in Bri's prison. Her name was Kristen Thompson. She was a woman nearing the end of her early twenties with tan skin, green eyes and brown hair. She wore black framed glasses with gold earrings and her hair was down with a purple headband with a gold star. Her outfit consisted of a purple button up shirt with gold button with a matching pencil skirt. The look was completed with a white bowtie with a gold star and black fishnet stockings with brown shows.

"Thank you for meeting with us Mrs. Thompson. We know that you attorneys are busy people so will try to make this has quick has we can. Did your nephews explain why we wanted to meet with you?" Drake asked the attorney.

"Yes, they did. Your concerned that if Amira and her brother's parent somehow find a way into our world they'll come after them. Quite frankly I do believe that your concern is valid. I have dealt with many similar cases in the pass minus the being from another world part. Now, while we can't officially file a retraining order on them due to lack of evidence and the amount of time it's been since the order had been put in place, we can have it be put on record that your niece and nephews have a restraining order against them. However, if there is enough evidence in that case file then we could get one officially passed."

"So, we'll need to send a request of records to the Grand Royal Council of Horedora… That's good, the people on that council last I heard had a no sense demeanor when it came to their job." Marcelina nodded in understanding. Kristen nodded and pulled out some forms.

"Now, I know a lot about Horedoraian international laws. So, I brought the forms that you'll need to submit. Once their ready we can send them to the council and hopefully get everything done quickly. Thankfully this is helped by the fact that in resent years it has become easier for Terrarium and Horedora. You'll need Ritchie and Brandon to sign them has they are over eighteen now unlike when their initial case was filed. Amira on the other hand is only four so she will need you to sign this for her." Kristen smiled has she handed them the forms.

With that the two parental figures began filling out the paperwork that needed to be done and went back to the hospital after thanking the attorney for their time. With that the Attorney began filing the necessary paperwork to send to the Horedorian Grand Royal Council.
