Chapter 16: Booyah-ka-Showdown! Part 1

Here's Chapter 16!

S1 Final!! honestly can't believe that roughly a year ago i started this fic! :00

ProfessorYeti: THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW! :'000 You always put so much and it's a joy to read!!

I feel the same about the fact that Donnie's crush on April just sorta broke his character a bit? I think it's cute that he has a thing for her, but they made it so extreme in some episodes that I feel it sort of ruined him a bit? like that mushroom episode!! So much potential to dive into fears Donnie might have, and they wasted it on his crush for April! XD

And as for the Japanese translations, yes I do use google translate :'3 One day I plan to properly learn Japanese but until then, google is...fine XD. but I'm totally gunna search more into Japanese expressions and stuff! I want to be as authentic as possible! so thank u for mentioning that!

As for the songs, I listened to the first one you recommended by Gesu No Kiwami Otome, and I quite liked it! :00 So I'll be sure to check out more of their songs in the future! so thank u for that! haha

And about the bit were Raph and Daiki were talking. I rewatched s2 of tmnt and I remembered how Karai said she had a hard time thanking people, which is most likely the same as saying sorry. Which was probablysomething that was an effect of being raised by Shredder. So I feel Daiki would also have similar issues, hence his understanding towards Raphael. Though as Daiki warms up to the Hamatos, he becomes more open with them!

As for your questions on S3... Good things come to those who wait...:333

(But yes! Dream Beavers AND Tales of the Yokai, are two of the bigger chapters I've got planned for S3! I'm really excited to show you all what I've got for those!)

This is based on the 2k12 series.

WARNING: 'Dyslexic Writer lol'.

Night draped across the city like a cover, hiding the Kraang's plan in the top of the TCRI building perfectly. The Kraang portal was fully operational, and the Krangg themselves, were busy making preparations.

"Kraang." One bot addresses the room full of droids. "A message from Kraang's glorious leader, Kraang Prime!"

The aliens rejoiced as the screen's around the room showing their home dimension, switched over to show a massive Kraang eye.

"Kraang! Kraang! Kraang!" The bots wriggled their fingers in a sort of alien salute, as the Kraang brains without suits displayed their tendrils.

The huge Kraang eye looked pleased as it glanced around the room at it's followers. "The invasion that is known as the invasion of Earth, begins. Now!"

The Kraang began to cheer once more, marching their feet

"Prepare the Technodrome!" One Kraang demanded as a few of the brains began to type in instructions on their control panels. Lighting up the room with codes and stats on the 'Technodrome'.

On the opposite side of New York city, hidden deep with the sewers. The Hamatos were having a normal night in, with TV and Comics as their main source of entertainment.

Daiki and April however, were inside the infirmary making plans of their own.

"I'm telling you, D! We should visit The Museum of Natural History, You'd love it!" April said firmly, holding up a pamphlet with said museum on the cover.

"Hm, it does sound pretty cool..." Daiki hummed as he took the booklet from her. But his thinking was cut off as the communication orb April had found suddenly began to buzz, and small pink dots started to spread across the white surface.

"Uso desho! 'No way!" Daiki exclaimed as he raced over to his desk. The brunet stared at the glowing ball, as he turnt on his laptop to try and decipher the incoming message from the Kraang.

"What's with the alarm, Daiki?" April asked as she came to rest over his shoulder.

Daiki kept his eyes trained on his laptop screen as he spoke. "That Kraang orb you found is going haywire! Which means those little brain-blobs are up to something big..."

April huffed slightly as she watched her friend work on the codes. "So much for our day out?"

Daiki flustered and throw her a meaningful smile, "There's always after?" He questioned only for his code to activate and allow the two of them to see the text.

"What is this?" April asked, "Alien language?"

Daiki half nods as his eyes continue to scan the information coming up on his laptop.

"You think you can decode this stuff?" April asks hopefully.

"I guess we're about to find out." The brunet shrugs as he begins to enter lines of code. "Translating...now." He clicks enter, and the screen fills with translated information, and blueprints of the Kraang's plan.

And the two humans gasp in response.

"And now, the final episode of 'Space Heroes'!"

Leonardo gasps with excitement, with his face so close to the TV that it blocked the view for everyone else in the pit. Not that that mattered much, considering Miwa and Raph were trying to drown out the horribly written sci-fi show with their comic books, while Mikey on the other hand, was happily playing on the pinball machine in the background.

"Captain, the Destructionators are on our tail!" Cranshaw cried in despair. "We're… lost."

"I've got an idea." Captain Ryan announces to his crew. "It's crazy, it defies all logic, it's illegal in 16 solar systems, and...my mother would most assuredly not approve!

But… it just might work!"

Captain Ryan then presses a large red button on his arm chair.

There was a moment of silence before the whole ship gave a few shakes as a siren sounded and flashed a red light around the cabin.

"Nope!" Captain Ryan was quick to state. "Abandon ship!"

"Huh?" Leo questions.

All of Ryan's crew got up from their seats and walked over to the doors of the elevator, ready to leave. Only, Captain Ryan didn't join them.

"Captain, aren't you coming?" Cranshaw pleads in desperation.

"A true captain goes down with his ship…" Ryan remarked bitterly.

"Sir, it's been a privilege to-!" Cranshaw's words were cut off by Captain Ryan reaching over and slapping him across the face.

"Just go…!" The man orders. And with that, the doors closed, and the crew left.

Captain Ryan sits back in his seat, patting the chair while looking around his ship. "Well, old girl, it's just you and me…"

"What a hero…" Leo says in awe, laying his chin on his hand as he gazes at the screen.

That was, until the screen went black with a 'click' from the control. Leo gasped in horror and whipped his head around harshly to see Daiki standing behind him with the remote.

"What are you doing!?" Leo snapped at him, like the teen had completely lost his mind. "That's the final episode of 'Space Heroes'!"

"I've got something a little more important." Daiki interrupted with a frown.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

The four Hamato teens followed Daiki into the converted lab/infirmary, where April was waiting by the brunet's laptop. All six teens were completely unaware, that Mr O'Neil was hidden away in the shadows of the garage doorway, acting rather unusual...

"April and I have been sifting through all this Kraang chatter, and well, listen to what we translated." Daiki's fingers begin to type away on his laptop, until the white orb activated, and a second later, a Kraang droid's voice echoes through it.

'The final phase of the plan known as 'Kraang's Invasion' shall commence in the unit of time that is six hours. The Technodrome shall arrive from Dimension X through the portal.'

"Are you sure this is the translated version?" Mikey questioned. His siblings groaned as Daiki face palmed.

"They said, in six hours something called the 'Technodrome' is coming through that portal." The brunet filled in for his friend, "This is the final phase of the Kraang invasion."

"Wait," Leo interpreted. "But, I thought April was the key to the Kraang plot, and they don't have her?"

"Yet..." Miwa added grimly, but at the looks the other five teens threw at her, she quickly add an apology.

Daiki frowned slightly at that thought, and April's nervous face. "If that Technodrome comes through the portal, well it sounds like the end of the world..."

"So what do we do?" Raph asks, though his question was answered by a long silent pause.

Leonardo set his brows, and took in his team in front of him. "Guys..." the leader in blue spoke with such determination, that it drew all of their attention to him. "We've got to find a way to shut that portal down. It's up to us."

"To save the world?" Mikey asked them all doubtfully.

"Leonardo is right." The six teens turned around to see Splinter coming towards them, aiming his amber eyes towards his four children. "When you four first went up to the surface, I feared you were not ready." Splinter regarded his children with a smile, as he then placed a paw on Daiki's shoulder. "But I have come to realize that you five are not only ready to become heroes, it was your destiny. And if the fate of the world must rest in somebody's hands, I am grateful it is yours." He smiled proudly at the five ninjas, who bowed their heads towards him, before rushing past to get ready. Even April couldn't help the smile that passed her lips as she followed after the teens.

"Leonardo, a moment please." Splinter turned to face the now stopped turtle. "With the world at stake, the only thing of importance is that you complete your mission."

"Yes, Sensei." Leo says in a no nonsense tone.

"No matter what you have to sacrifice...or who." His Master added seriously.

The oldest turtle was stunned by his Sensei's choice of words for a moment, but after thinking over the words, he simply nodded his understanding as his Master walked past him.

Spike stood casually by on the floor while Raphael unrolled a large pouch. Showing off a multitude of different weaponry besides his faithful pair of Sais. He even loaded himself up with a few smoke bombs Daiki gave them all.

Leonardo, Miwa and Daiki went over the floor plans and blueprints of the building to find the best way in and out of TCRI. While Daiki also took the spare time inbetween to make a few inventions here and there to help them succeed.

And with a cunning smile, Mikey whispered another idea into Daiki's ear, and the human teen grinned back with as much excitement, before the two disappeared into the lab and throw away the large white sheet which covered up Metalhead.

Miwa had to drag Michelangelo back into the lab on several occasions, as he slipped away to eat or watch TV, but eventually, all five ninjas were all in the Lab. Prepping for their mission and going over final notes.

"Morikawa."

Splinter's calm voice entered from the doorway, where the rat stood patiently watching. "May I have a moment with you, please?"

Daiki nodded, "Hai Splinter-san." And made his way over to the door. He exited the lab and followed after Splinter, who began to lead him toward the dojo.

Once the two of them were beside the dojo's tree, Splinter raised a paw to Daiki, "Wait here a moment." He asked, and with that, he moved into his room, closing the door slightly behind him.

The teen looked around the dojo nervously, with his mahogany eyes eventually landing on the shrine, with what he know knew was a photo of Shen, with Splinter when he was still human, and baby Miwa.

He hadn't meant to dig into the rat Masters personal life, but one evening when he was alone, he happened across the shrine and couldn't help but take a closer look. He held the precious framed memory and recognised Shen immediately from a photo Saki had shown him many years ago. Though, that photo of Shen had clearly been torn in half. Missing what he soon realized after coming to the lair, was Yoshi.

The shifting of paper doors alerted Daiki to Splinter returning, only he didn't expect to see the rat carrying a large cardboard box caped in dust. With a quick blow, Splinter blew off most the dust and brushed away any left as he presented the box to the teen.

"What is it?" Daiki asked curiously as he began to lift the lid up.

Splinter chuckled at the teen, "Well, it would not do you much good fighting an alien invasion in a sweater?"

Daiki snicker and pulled the lid off. He felt himself freeze as he stared into the box in shock. Inside, was a neatly folded Shozoku uniform, almost brand new looking. With black and maroon details on it.

Daiki took the dark maroon shirt of the shozoku out of the book and inspected it carefully. It was a lot like his old uniform, though that had been a black shirt instead of maroon. Black and red being the traditional colours of the Foot Clan.

"It may be a size too big?" Splinter acknowledges as Daiki holds the shirt up, but his smile only warmed at that thought, "But I am sure you will grow into it in no time, my child."

Daiki glanced at the rat, running his thumb over the maroon embroidered symbol on the shoulder of the shirt. "Hamato..." He whispered to himself, unsure if the rat had heard him or not.

"Splinter-san..." Daiki started unsurely, his voice did nothing to hide his feelings. "T-There's something I must tell you...something I've been trying to avoid...but..."

Splinter watched as the unnerved teen began to ramble, shifting on his feet and clutching the fabric in his hands so tightly, that his knuckles became white. He felt his heart ache for the child as he watched. So, he placed his paw gently on the teen's shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile. "Morikawa, you can tell me anything." He said with all the kindness he could.

Daiki nodded his understanding, and took a breath in. "Splinter-san... No, Hamato Yoshi...I-I...I'm a-"

"Daiki! We're ready to go, move your butt!" Raphael's yell from the lab was so loud, it sounded as though he were right outside the dojo.

Daiki sighs at the interruption, and prepares himself to speak again. Only this time, Splinter was the one to stop him.

"The others are waiting, and you must get ready." Splinter addresses him, "You would not want to keep them waiting."

"But-" Daiki began once more.

"Whatever it is, child. It can wait. I will be here to talk once you have saved the world." Splinter reassured him.

Daiki gave a defeated nod, "Hai...Splinter-san." And made his way out of the dojo and towards his room. He was annoyed at himself for not telling Splinter the truth. To be honest, he didn't think he'd ever have to tell him...

But seeing the uniform, the embroidered symbol of the Hamato crest, and hearing Splinter call him 'My Child' again, it all just happened so fast. The need to come clean, to confess the lie he had been hiding from them all out of fear of abandonment...but inside, he was grateful for the interruptions.

It meant he had some time to figure out how best to tell him...and the others...

Leonardo, Raphael and Miwa had just finished getting the Shellraiser ready to go when Mikey eventually made his way over to them all.

But with a quick look around, the youngest Hamato realized that someone in their party was missing. "Where's D?" The freckled turtle spoke up.

"I'm here!" Daiki called as he came jumping over the turnstiles, tucking his wooden bō into his back holster.

Daiki was now decked out in his new uniform. A hooded dark maroon shozoku, much darker then Splinter and Miwa's, with black fabric tied around his wrists to keep the long and baggy sleeves in place. Black pants with plenty of pockets to hide his shurikens and smoke bombs, as well as a black holster for his bō.

He had his armour from his previous uniform on, protecting his arms, shoulders, legs and thighs, and a new metal chest plate, as his previous was still in pieces. While still sporting his steel cap boots and fingerless gloves to finish off the look.

"Donnie!" Mikey cheered as he took hold of Daiki in a bear hug.

"Looking good." Leo smiled as the teen was grabbed.

"Yeah, not too shabby." Miwa added casually, as Raph nodded beside her.

"T-thanks!" Daiki wheezed as he broke free of Mikey's hug. Just in time to brush himself off as Splinter and April came through the turnstiles to wish them off.

"Hey guys!" April called as she joined the Hamatos. Looking over at Daiki, she noticed his new uniform and couldn't help the huge grin that lite up her face. "Oh Daiki! You look so nice!" She said as she sorted out his messed up hood.

"Y-you think?" Daiki stuttered with a slight blush.

April nodded and chuckled at his pink cheeks, before pulling him into a hug, "Make sure you hurry back, the Museum isn't going to visit itself."

"Of course!" Daiki agreed and hugged her back. Rolling his eyes as he noticed Mikey making puppy eyes at the scene.

After Daiki had a long lasting hug goodbye from April, Leo coughed to clear his throat, and the atmosphere, and looked over his siblings and Daiki with a determined expression on his face. "Gentlemen. And Lady." he announced, "Let's save the world."

The rest of the ninjas nodded in agreement, and the five teens ran into the Shellraiser, before driving off down the sewer tunnel to their most important battle yet.

Once the others had left, and the Shellraiser was long gone, April glanced over at Splinter, who kept his eyes on the tracks. "Um, Sensei, do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Of course not." Splinter assures, looking down at April as she holds her arm unsurely.

"Why aren't you going with them?" April asked bluntly.

Splinter's face darkened slightly, but he kept a calm expression. "Why do you ask?"

"Daiki and the Hamatos are out there risking their lives. Don't you think they could use your help?" She wonders with narrowing eyes.

"I am their teacher. My role is to prepare them for the challenges they face." Splinter tells her sharply.

"But, Sensei," She starts over to try and get through to the rat. "You said yourself that this time the fate of the world-"

"Damare!" Splinter snaps impatiently, catching April completely off guard. "I do not have to explain myself to a child!" And with that, he starts to leave, but not before stopping for a few seconds to think over what she said.

April crosses her arms, and shakes her head in disappointment as the old rat made his way back into the lair.

The Shellraiser continued to plow down the subway tunnels until it came up to the exit, which lifted up to reveal the street above, as the car came rolling out.

"All right, guys." Leo starts, "We're gonna keep it simple. We go to TCRI. and we use the micro-fission omni-disintegrator, which Daiki calculates is powerful enough to destroy the portal with a single shot."

"Well then, why didn't we use it last time?" Mikey asks with a frown.

"Because we didn't have it last time." Daiki points out in a mocking tone.

"You have an answer for everything, don't you, Donnie?" The freckled turtle scowled.

"Yes," Daiki grinned widely, "I do."

"Good one, Daiki!" Raph smirks in amusement at the teen. "Speaking of good one, are you sure this plan will work, Leo?"

Leo glares ahead, speaking lowly. "It has to work!"

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

After a few minutes, April came out from the kitchen and walked passed the waterway just below the dojo, where Master Splinter happened to be mediating. Just the thought of their earlier argument was enough to make April scoff as she made her way to the pinball machine.

She lent over the machine and sighed as her father came up behind her looking around confused. "Hey April," he said in a very dull voice. "Where is everybody?"

"The Kraang are making their move." April replied. "They're all making their way to TCRI."

"TCRI? Oh no!" Mr. O'Neil said with worry, making April turn to him in concern.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"The Kraang know that the Hamatos and Donnie are coming for them." He explained to her.

April looked at him in shock with a raised eyebrow in suspicion. "How do you know this?" she questioned while pulling out her phone to call Daiki.

"Don't." said Mr. O'Neil, putting his hand on the phone and lowering it. "The Kraang have cracked Donnie's phone's encryption. We have to warn the Hamatos in person."

April couldn't help but feel like something was amiss, and looked at her father unsurely.

"I'm your father, April." Mr. O'Neil said, placing his hand on her shoulder. "You have to trust me."

At her father's warm smile, April felt her courage return and smiled back at him.

"Come on." Kirby ushered her towards the turnstiles, unaware that Splinter had ceased his meditation and was close behind.

"April?" Splinter said, stepping towards them. "Where are you going?"

"The others are in trouble." She filled in. "I've gotta go warn them."

"But, you know it is dangerous for you to be on the surface!" Splinter said firmly.

"Well, some of us can't just sit around and do nothing!" She spat back harshly, and just like that, April turned and followed after her father out of the lair. Leaving Splinter shocked, and in thought at her words.

-A few minutes later-

As April continued to follow her father blindly down an unfamiliar tunnel, she began to feel a gnawing sensation in her mind, screaming at her that something was wrong. But as she stopped to try and make sense of her surroundings, her father continued forward. "Dad, what are you doing? This isn't the way to TCRI."

The middle-aged man said nothing, as he turnt to her with narrowing eyes.

"Dad, what's going on?" April asks in growing panic. Only to be abruptly grabbed by two foot soldiers who suddenly emerged from black smoke beside her. She began to struggle against them, but ultimately, it was a losing battle. "Help!" She yells into the tunnel for anyone to hear, only, her call for help was answered by someone she wished never to hear again.

"Your struggles are useless, Cub." The mutated tiger gloated as he walked right past Kirby. He stands tall in front of April, and leans down towards her, "Hello, Girl. Long time no see?" He smirks in amusement.

"Yeah, Last time we saw you, I forgot to give you this!" April knees the mutant in the stomach, and for a moment, it seemed like it had worked to harm the massive beast. But the tiger soon scowled at her, clearly annoyed at her sudden bravery.

He steps backwards as two Mousers approach him from behind, glaring at the redhead girl, before turning to Kirby.

"You've done well." The feline comments. "Now take the message to Hamato Yoshi." Mr O'Neil bows his understanding before leaving silently.

"Dad?" April asks in confusion as her father walks straight past her. "Dad!! What are you doing? Dad?!" The man doesn't respond to his daughter's cries as he continued to walk down the tunnel. Seemingly ignoring her struggles.

April gasps as the horrifying realization hit her. "You brainwashed him!!"

"Indeed," Tigerclaw grins. "It is impressive what those little aliens can accomplish." He remarks as he snaps his fingers. April could only stare ahead in fear as the two soldiers started to drag her away, following after the mutant cat. "Now, to take you to my Master."

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

In the lobby of the TCRI building, the Kraang were beginning to gather from around the city, waiting to initiate their invasion plan.

When suddenly, a pair of headlights lite up the lobby from outside the front door, giving the Kraang little to no warning as the Shellraiser came bursting in through the glass, running over several Kraang bots in the progress.

A Mrs Campbell android managed to jump out of the way of the car as it came in, landing back down near some more droids as they all opened fire on the vehicle.

Their various lasers littered the outside of the vehicle, but ended up doing little damage aside from causing smoke.

Mrs Campbell signals for the others to halt their fire as she decides to step forward.

Just as she got closer to the car, the hatch on top of the roof was thrown open and a small metal fist rocketed out, slamming into Mrs Campbell's face, sending her flying backwards.

The few Kraang near her downed body, watched as the fist flew around the backs of them. Only to follow it back, and look up to be greeted by Metalhead.

The small robot flew towards them, reconnecting his fist to his wrist, to slam it into the nearest Kraang bot.

"BOOYAKASHA!" shouted Daiki's triumphant voice shouted through Metalhead's mouth speaker.

The small turtlebot landed on the ground and switched his fist out with a gun, firing blue lasers at the remaining Kraang with no mercy as Daiki's laugh echoes in the lobby. "Meet Metalhead!"

Three Kraang suddenly jump at the bot from behind, with weapons at the ready, but Metalhead was prepared for their attack, and with a shout from Daiki of, "I see you!" The turtlebot turns around sharply, and sets them on fire with a flamethrower.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

Five shadows cheered out loud as they flew over the streets of New York. Their bat winged gliders were strapped onto their backs and controlled by bike handles, not Daiki's finest project, but it did the job just right. Giving the ninjas the power of flight.

Said brunet of the group had on a speaker headset, which was connected to Metalhead, who was currently absolutely annihilating the Kraang in the lobby.

"How's the little guy doing, D?" Miwa asks as she flies above him.

Daiki clicks a button on the headphones, and once he hears the sounds of his robot obliterating the Kraang, he can't help contain his laugh. "Oh, it's not him you should be worried about." He answers back darkly.

"Dang, remind me to stay on your good side." Miwa stats as she flies to his side.

"Nice work, Donnie!" Raphael calls out, to which Daiki grins back as he waves a 'rock on!' sign with his free hand.

"You know what it's time for?" Mikey asks ecstatically as he appeared between Raph and Daiki. "The world's first ever mid-air high three!"

All five teens flew up towards the moon for the world's most awesome mid-air high three,

"This is awesome! Turtles were born to fly!!" Mikey exclaims with glee as he begins to spin around the others like crazy, laughing his head off like a madman the entire time.

"Alright, guys." said Leo with a serious tone. "Let's do this!"

The five teens all flew forward, heading towards the TCRI highrise. Following Leonardo's lead, as they circled round the roof until they came upon a narrow ledge with a few resting pigeons on it. And as the teens landed, most of the birds scattered away at their sudden appearance, except for one, which seemed to be in a world of it's own.

Raphael smirked as he caught hold of the bird, and gently petted it's feathers until the pigeon had calmed down. Then, he held the relaxed and inquisitive bird up to the surveillance camera monitoring the roof, covering up the five ninjas as they snuck past it.

Once they had all made it, Raphael put the pigeon back down with a final pat on the head and a 'shush' as he ran along the ledge to the others. Only to turn the corner and see his siblings and Daiki smirking at him.

"What?" he whispered angrily.

"Nothing." Miwa cooed teasingly.

Leo had his finger to his lips, and nodded to the corner they were stood by. Pointing out the two Kraang that were guarding the ledge round the corner.

"It is quiet. Precisely the correct amount of quiet." On of the droids said to itself.

"Hey Kraang!" The two bots turned to see Mikey, sticking his tongue out and pressing his cheeks as he blew raspberries at them. He shakes his hips a little then seemingly falls right off the ledge. Causing the two Kraang to look over and see Mikey holding onto the walls with his shuko spikes. He points to his right with a smirk and the two look up just in time to see Daiki as he knocks them off of the roof with a hard blow.

The two bots fell all the way to the ground with their alien brains screeching the whole way.

Leonardo is quick to help Mikey back up as Daiki takes out a grappling hook. He points it out and fires it, with the hook landing on the pillar across from them. Were they then use their weapons to slide across the roof, catching a quick glance of the room they were soon to enter.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

Now alone in the lair, Splinter moved himself into the dojo to meditate. As he begins to lose himself in thought, he can't help but remember the words April spoke to him...

"Daiki and the Hamatos are out there risking their lives. Don't you think they could use your help?"

"Some of us can't just sit around and do nothing!"

Suddenly, Splinter's ears twitch as he hears footsteps approaching him from behind. Ones he is not quite familiar with... In an instant, the old rat had leapt to his feet and whipped around with his jade cane pointing towards the intruder.

"Stop!" Splinter barked with authority.

Stood in front of him, was Kirby O'Neil.

Physically, he was the same as he was a few hours ago, but Splinter could sense a hidden threat. The man was staring at him with blank and lifeless eyes, almost like that of a robot.

"Where is April?" Splinter demands firmly.

"Master Shredder wanted you to have this message." Kirby says almost mechanically, all emotions were absent in the man's dead voice.

"Master...Shredder?" The rat responds slowly.

At that moment, two Mousers walked up towards him and he backs away in suspicion. They then both start emitting a red hologram of the Shredder.

"Nani? 'What?'" Splinter calls in shock.

"So, Hamato Yoshi," The Shredder began darkly, "you thought you could hide from me forever. I have April O'Neil."

At this, Splinter's eyes widen in fear.

"And if you value her life, you will come and face me like a man. We will finish what we started all those years ago." The Shredder's voice and image disappeared as the Mousers stopped showing the hologram, and with Kirby following, took their leave from the lair.

Alone once more, Splinter dropped his cane and sank to his knees as the heavy realization hit him... He had to face the Shredder. His former brother, his most hated enemy, for April's sake.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

Hundreds of feet above the dark streets of New York, the top of the TCRI building was brimming with life. As dozens of Kraang-droids and alien brains continued to prepare the portal for activation. And finally set their plan into motion.

Unbeknownst to them, that five shadows lurked above them in the rafters.

"We gotta take out that portal!" Daiki whispered in hushed urgency.

At the same time, the rock giant that Leatherhead had taken on was moving around the room.

"I forgot about him." Raph muttered miserably.

"How're we suppose to take out the portal with that thing guarding it?" Miwa adds sceptically.

"Don't worry, we'll be gone before that rock monster even knows we're here." Daiki tried to reassure her.

From beside him, Leonardo reached for the disintegrator, aiming it at the portal as he powered it up. "Okay, guys," he breathes in concentration. "This all ends in 3… 2… 1."

He shots, firing a ball of energy straight towards the portal and hitting it perfectly on target. However, as the ball hit the portal, it simply evaporated into thin air as the portal sparked with a transparent film protecting.

"What? There's a force field?" Leo questions in disbelief before turning to Daiki accusingly. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Well, because I wanted us to fail!" Daiki says with a sarcastic smile, "OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T KNOW!"

Thanks to the disintegrator's ball of energy not working, the ninjas were quickly discovered by the Kraang, who had now turned on them and opened fire.

"Anyone got a plan B?" asked Raph.

There was a loud grumble from behind us, and I looked in time to see the rock monster glaring at us, a fist raised. We all gaped at him and screamed in shock before leaping out of the way of his oncoming fist.

$$$$"Anyone got a plan B?" Raph questions as a growl suddenly becomes audible to the group. They turn around to see Traag glaring at them, and scream when the rock giant starts to grab at where they were stood. But they luckily jumped over his arm, and onto the floor below.

Leonardo lands just in front of the portal, while still holding onto the disintegrator. He hears a rumble behind him and looks up to see Traag standing right behind him. The turtle yells as Traag raises his foot up above the mutant, before bringing it crashing back down.

April continued to tug at the chain restraints keeping her tied to the Shredder's staircase, as Dogpound and Fishface watched over her, and the doorway to the corridors outside.

"So," the fish asked curiously, "how good is this so-called ninja master, anyway?"

"One of the best." Dogpound clarified with no hesitation. "He trained in the same ninja clan as Master Shredder..."

Unknown to the two mutants and April was that Splinter was right outside as Dogpound spoke, using his hood to cover up his face.

"They used to be like brothers, until Hamato Yoshi betrayed him." The dog continued on, as foot soldiers began surrounding Splinter.

One of them decided to attack first, running towards the rat with his weapon drawn. Only for Splinter to turn on him, and knock the ninja into a few others who were behind him.

The rat turns, knocking down other Foot soldiers with his hands as more and more approach, and start to attack. But he defeats every single one of them, until the entire squad is decimated and unconscious.

"Let me put it to you this way." Dogpound adds simply. "He's as skilled as Master Shredder, but he doesn't have the stomach to finish the fight."

Leonardo jumped backwards out of the way, as Traag's foot came down were he once stood. Landing on his shell, and with the rock monster quickly approaching him, he starts to skid backwards until he hits a wall.

With a 'ding' from the disintegrator alerting him that the device had recharged, Leo points the weapon towards Traag's leg in a panic, and ends up blowing his leg off.

The rock monster trips, and catches himself on the wall above Leo, where he leans over him, and starts vomiting lava downwards. But the leader in blue was quick to roll between his legs and out of harm's way.

"Daiki!" Leo yells as he looks up. "How's that plan B coming?"

"I'm thinking!" The brunet yells back as he's holding a Kraang against his back as a shield, while other Kraang fire at him.

"Think faster!" Leo tells him, firing the device once more to blow off Traag's arm as it reached for him from behind.

"I can probably hack into the Kraang system if you'd give me enough time!" The human urged, only for some of Traag's parts to fall onto the Kraang firing behind Daiki.

"Great, do that!" Leo orders as Daiki makes his way upwards, towards an overlook of the room with a control unit on it.

The teen spins his bō when he lands at the top, knocking down two Kraang brains that were flying around the unit. He then pulls out a device from his satchel, placing it beside him on the floor and connecting it to the power unit to begin the hacking process on his phone.

And with his tongue out in full concentration, he hardly realized the other Kraang brains in their miniature flying pods move towards him.

But luckily for him, Miwa had taken a spot behind him to defend him against any attacking Kraang while he worked.

After a few hits and a firm punch, knocking a few of the brains into each other, Miwa happened to catch a glimpse of the device Daiki was using to hack the system.

"Is that our toaster?" She asked him accusingly.

"No, it's one of the many unfortunate toasters Leo got his hands on it." Daiki added with a pat to the recycled device.

"Really? Now?" Leo yells as he dodges another grab from the giant.

An echoing thud sounded around the throne room, alerting both of the mutant henchmen to a presence in the halls outside.

"What was that?" Fishface asked.

Only for Dogpound's ears to flicker at another quieter sound the fish didn't pick up on. "He's here." The dog confirmed.

The doors flew open, leaving the two mutants speechless, as a lone foot soldier weakly stood before them. Shuffling towards the two with little to no strength before his legs gave out beneath him and he collapsed to the floor.

With hardly any energy left, he lifted a shaky hand up for help, only to be dragged back into the darkness of the corridors once more.

Dogpound and Fishface let out a gasp as they took a few steps backwards from the scene, and with barely any sound at all, the mutant rat appeared behind them both effortlessly.

With a low growl, the dog span around, swinging his larger fist in the rats direction. Splinter on the other hand ducks under it with ease, and when Dogpound slams his huge fist onto the ground, the rat dodges that also. The dog mutant tries to grab at Splinter with his other arm, but the rat simply backflips over it, and delivers a firm kick straight to Dogpound's head, knocking him near April.

Fishface was quick to try and attack once the dog was down, sending a kick towards the rat before trying to get a good shot of him. But the rat followed his every move and step with skilled and watchful eyes. Which only infuriated the fish more.

With a snarl, Fishface spun around on one of his legs a few times, before using his hands to walk on the floor as his metallic legs continued to kick out in the air frantically to try and kick Splinter.

At this point, Dogpound was starting to come too from his hit, and with a growl, he chose to attack from behind as Fishface continued to drive his legs towards the rat.

Dogpound waited, then jumped to attack Splinter, but the rat moves out of the way at the last moment and Fishface hits Dogpound instead, in a very...sensitive area.

Fishface gasped in realization as Dogpound dropped to his knees, holding his pants with both hands and groaning in pain, as he fell to the floor.

Splinter watched as the fish suddenly jumped up from behind the huge downed mutant, kicking and snarling, only for the rat to grab hold of his tail.

So when Fishface went in for a powerful bite to the rat's shoulder, he ended up taking a bite out of his own tail instead. In pain and shock from what had just happened, the mutant fish was paralyzed, and unable to fight back as Splinter pushed him into the water at the side of the room with one firm hit of his palm.

The aged rat sighed as looks down to see Fishface swimming quickly away, aswell as Dogpound running out the door, practically slamming it shut behind him.

Presuming they had fled after their defeat, Splinter then set his attention solely on April, who had been unusual quiet at the back of the room. He ran up towards her and kneeled.

"April, it is me. Do not make a sound. I will have you out in a moment!" Splinter reassures as he goes to grab her chain cuffs, but his hands phase right through the chains, aswell as her hands. He gasps as April smirks harshly at him, and flickers red, before fading away.

Revealing her to be a hologram, projected from a Mouser. Splinter jumps back as the robot screeches, and throws a shuriken, taking out the Mouser in a small explosion.

He lands and takes a moment to get his thoughts together, only for a sinister laugh to suddenly darken his mind.

"Hamato Yoshi. I am so glad you accepted my...invitation." The deranged voice of Shredder bounces around the empty room. Splinter looks around, but ultimately, can't determine where he's enemy voice was coming from.

Fire abruptly blast out from behind the glass walls along the sides of the room, lighting the room in a murderous red hue.

"What have you done with April!" Splinter demanded to the faceless voice with clenched fists.

"Now that you are here, Miss O'Neil is no longer any use to me. I gave her to my new friends, the Kraang." The voice continued to torment him from the shadows. And Splinter was oblivious to the dark masked grin approaching him from behind.

"You fool!" Splinter yells at the shadows, "Do you have any idea what you've done!"

The old rat was suddenly struck from behind, sending him to the floor in a pained heap. He turns his head to see the face he had wished would only ever haunt him in his nightmares for the rest of his days.

Yet, the Shredder stood there, at the end of the room, glowering behind his metal helmet. "Yes. I took your family away, and now I can put an end to you, once and for all!"

Splinter places a hesitant paw on his hood, before he removes his one form of cover, casting a solemn look towards the Shredder.

"What?" The armoured man questions in shock, "A rat?" He then began to laugh, a dark and hollow sounding laugh. "I see you are as hideous as those turtles that surround you. How fitting. You are a rat who has been caught in my trap."

"Look closely at this face, Shredder." Splinter threatens with a dangerous tone, "for it is the last thing you'll ever see!"

Traag rose his remaining fist, slamming it against the ground as Leo jumped out of the way.

"Come on, come on!" The turtle starts shouting as he fires the disintegrator again, blowing off Traag's last arm. "This thing's running out of juice!" Leo snaps as he notices the smoke coming out of the device.

"And guys, look!" Mikey's yell suddenly alerted them all. "The portal!"

They all whip their heads around to see the portal beginning to start up, getting ready to unleash New York's destruction as they spoke.

"Whatever's coming through the portal's gonna be here soon!" Leo stated in urgency.

Raphael flipped out of the way as a rain of lasers came down, landing right next to a very stressed out Daiki. "When's that forcefield coming down, Daiki?" The turtle questioned.

"I'm working on it!" Daiki tried to defend, but was slowly becoming more panicky by the minute.

"Don't rush him, Raphael!" Miwa scolded him seriously, the last thing Daiki needed right now was more pressure.

Raph huffed as he made to move again, only to receive an abrupt shot straight to the shell, courtesy of a Kraang-droid stood behind him with a gun.

And at that point, Raphael only saw red. He launched his sai right into the gun, and his other into the droids shoulder. Then a kunai straight to the head, followed by a crazy amount of shurikens in any remaining part of the bot they would fit in. Until Raph pounced at the bot with a battle cry and throw it off of the ledge they were both stood on. Where the Kraang-droid landed next to Leonardo, busily trying to make the disintegrator work.

Traag's foot came down on top of the bot, where the rock giant now stood menacingly over Leonardo who was slashing at the many floating Kraang brains trying to hit him.

The leader in blue managed to kick the last Kraang so hard, that it smacked into the rock giant's face. Giving Leo enough time to leap up into the air and aim the device directly at the monsters chest.

He yelled, and pulled the trigger, exploding the giant into pieces as his remaining limbs flew off of his torso. Leonardo hopped backwards, landing next to Mikey as bits of large rock fell around them to the ground.

Traag groaned a bit before growling, and as if by magic, his body parts began to roll and move back towards the blown up torso.

"I forgot he could do that!" Mikey trembled slightly.

"Not good..." Leo muttered as the situation only seemed to be getting worse by the second.

"Guys!" Daiki hollered to them, "I think I've got it!" He turned and looked down at the makeshift toaster, until a panel at the side made a beeping sound and a hula girl doll bobbled out of one of the slots with a wiggle.

There was a loud noise as the portal began to shutt down. Until it appeared to be full deactivated.

"Yes!" Daiki exclaimed as he raised a fist in excitement. "All hail me!"

But before anyone could cheer for him, a bright flashing light beamed around the room as the portal suddenly started up. And shot a beam onto the roof.

"Uh-oh..." the brunet muttered. "Guys?"

There was a loud rumbling noise, outside that draw the attention of everyone in TCRI to look through the windows. A bright pink light was illuminating the sky, and something gigantic, and silver was slowing starting to descend from inside it. Almost twenty times bigger then TCRI itself.

"Holy giant floating shippy-ship!" Mikey whispered in fearful awe as they all watched the thing come down.

The Kraang-droids began to advance on them all at once, letting off frantic laser fire to try and hit them.

"Leo!" Mikey yelled as he used Miwa as a shield. "Do the zippy-zappy thing now!!"

Leo gripped the gun tightly, and began to pray to it, "Come on baby, come one baby.Come on, baby!" The gun then made a loud whirring sound, signalling that it had been powered back up.

"Yes!" Leo shouted with confidence. "Say goodnight, Kraang!" He jumped to his feet, and aimed the gun at it's intended target, the portal, as he pulled the trigger.

The gun made a sad sounding 'poof' noise as it powered back down again, only this time, it was permanent. The Hamatos and Daiki all stood with their jaws open.

"What the heck happened?!" Daiki shrieked as smoke came out of the device.

"I think the batteries died!" Leo shouted back with a hint of guilt.

"And we'll be joining them, unless someone thinks of something!" Raph barked as the five teens took to huddling together in the center of the room for safety.

"What's plan C, Leo?" Daiki asked hurriedly.

Leonardo didn't respond right away however, Instead, he started to look around, as if hoping some form of an escape plan would just jump out at him. And jump out at him it did, in the form of the Kraang's power cell.

"Daiki, what would happen if I ruptured the power cell?" Leo asks, hoping the answer was what he thought it is.

"The whole place would go up, with us in it!!" Daiki yells at him as if he'd gone mad.

The leader in blue narrowed his sapphire eyes, and pulled out his katanas. "Go!"

"Whoa Leo, you're not thinking what I think you're thinking?" Daiki questions the eldest turtle, only for him to run off without another word. "He's thinking it!!"

Miwa, Raph, Mikey and Daiki then start to climb up the portal, using it as an escape route to the windows above where they all safely got out in time.

While Leonardo battled his way through Kraang-droids to get to the center of the room where the power cell stood. He rose his blade up, and stabbed it straight through the crystal before turning and trying to out run the coming explosion.

The crystals explosion was enormous, taking out everything in its path, including the portal which Leo only just managed to climb on before the force of the explosion blew him outside.

The blue-clad turtle crashed straight through one of the windows, as the top half of TCRI was engulfed in black smoke and debris.

Leonardo regained his lost consciousness only seconds after it left, to be faced with the sight of the fast approaching sidewalk. The turtle flailed his arms in an attempt to slow himself down, but ultimately, he knew what was about to come. He covered up his eyes with his arm as he continued his freefall to the floor, only he never actually hit the floor...

"Gotcha!" Raphael exclaimed as he pulled up with Leo in his arms at the last second, sawing up higher through the night sky. "In your face, gravity!"

Leo sighed out in relief as his siblings and Daiki also join by them in their flight. "Thanks, Raph." Leo smiled.

"Anytime, buddy." The red-clad turtle smirks back.

"Leonardo! If you do something as dumb as that again, I'll de-shell myself!" Miwa warned her immediate younger brother with a playful glare.

"No problem, Sis." He grins sheepishly.

"I can't believe it. We saved the world!!" Daiki says in shock, receiving equally as surprised and astonished looks back.

"Yeah!" Mikey scoffs next to them. "That wasn't so hard, was it..."

The Hamatos and Daiki were left with wide eyes, as a dark shadow sudden swarmed above them. Soon followed by giant silver spikes and balls coming up fast from behind. The teens flew away from the approaching silver sphere screaming, as they turnt to look at the Technodrome descending down upon the city.

"Uh, I gotta stop saying stuff like that..." The youngest turtle mutters in fear as he and his siblings and friend are left speechless in front of the war machine.

The Technodrome's large eye-like lazer began to glow pink as it finished starting up. Ready to invade and destroy New York city...
